We had a delicious breakfast of eggs, pancakes, bacon, and sausage. I got gluten-free pancakes and my daughter got regular. The syrup is amazing and there’s a touch of cinnamon somewhere. Lisa is an incredible server and took care of everything and made our meal extra special! She was friendly and thoughtful, always thinking ahead. We will be back!

Service was great and very efficient from the moment we sat down. Our server was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly without making us feel rushed I ordered the Dutch Baby, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly golden, light, and airy with just the right balance of sweetness. It’s definitely something I would order again. I also loved the vanilla latte; it was smooth, flavorful, and paired perfectly with breakfast. The second I walked into this restaurant early in the morning I was met with the warmest welcome very inviting energy before even being seated. My server April was such a bundle of joy so polite, friendly, amazing service I don't think I've ever had someone serve me quite so well perfect balance of relatable and efficient. This place was recommended to me by my colleagues from an international airline that flies here daily and stays nearby and I finally know why everyone speaks so highly of this place. I was introduced to Andrew and he was so amazing, professional, kind I didn't want to leave and I will definitely be back as often as possible. I will be recommending this to all my colleagues flying to DFW and to the other airline crew that stay in the same hotel as ours.

I let her know I was waiting for my breakfast-mate and suggested that I get seated before the rush. The pancakes are a must to order, even if it’s shared amongst the table.

We had such a great brunch experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and came out quickly. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, which made it the perfect spot for a weekend brunch. Our waitress Ashley truly made the experience exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. She made great recommendations and checked on us just the right amount to make sure everything was perfect. Great service can really make a meal memorable, and Ashley definitely did that for us. Today was actually Larissa’s first day out of training and you would have never known it. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and on top of everything from the moment we sat down. April is a gem! Fun and energetic, and she’ll keep you well fed! Girl does not let a guest leave hungry or unhappy. Andrew was a phenomenal host, going as far as nerding out with my husband about Star Trek vs Star Wars while we waited for our table. They will also serve you Fred Flinstone bacon if you order it. (Bacon Steak) 10/10 across the board. We’ll be back!

Everything I've ever had here is good! I had the BLT, and the bacon is thick and really good. The Carnivore omelet was fluffy and FULL of meat. The best part was the customer service we received from Lisa. She anticipated everything we needed before we had the opportunity to ask, which is very unusual these days. She was very hands on and extremely personable, which is hard to get these days. If you go, ask for Lisa, and you'll be well taken care of! The manager came over and I let him know about the excellent customer service we received today, and he was extremely nice and took the time to listen to me. What a great way to start my day!

My server Lisa was amazing... all to often in the modern world, servers enter the food service industry and have no desire to provide service, then they complain incessantly about a lack of tips... the problem isnt people not tipping, the problem is the complete lack of servers actually wanting to provide good service. Lisa is NOT one of those. Over all the dining experience was amazing! Try the mini Dutch-baby big pancake with fruit and lemon curd, I can't recommend it enough. If you want something "shareable" get the baked apple pancake, you won't be disappointed

I was looking to find a good breakfast spot and I’ve been meaning to try this place out The aesthetic is clean and overall old-timey and the service was great. I ordered myself some pancakes along with a Latte and some loaded potatoes. The food was very good but it was a bit pricey though, but it can be good on occasion. So if you’re looking to find a good breakfast experience this is a good place to go.

From the corned beef hash to the staff the Original Pancake house will leave you wanting more great food and more excellent conversation. Mrs. Kern and I were returning home from a trip to South Carolina and on the way she found this lovely place conveniently located near our hotel. I had the French press coffee, corned beef hash, and a side of fresh sliced tomato. The food was exceptional, the eggs cooked perfectly and the corned beef hash was crispy and not greasy. Andrew the manager came out to check on us and share a great conversation. April our waitress kept the food and coffee coming and was very attentive. This is a must if your in the Dallas area and want a great bite to eat and a staff that gives great service!

Was visiting DFW over the weekend and cannot recommend OPH enough. We have them in California but the Texas mex faire added to the menu in Texas was top notch. My girl got the huevos rancheros and I got the Hacienda Benny. Let me tell you the difference between fresh cracked and liquid eggs in night and day. Had to also get the Dutch baby for the table IYKYK. And then of course fresh OJ which I found out is juiced daily was that added cherry on top. Service was prompt with our wonderful server Taliyah but I think what made the experience that much better was the manager Andrew. That kind of personalized interaction is the kind of thing I’m used to seeing in mom and pop diners. I felt like I was the only patron in the place with the food hot, fast and delicious and the friendly countenance of every employee with whom I interacted.

I wanted a special color mug for my daughter’s birthday gift and Mario spent 10 minutes searching for the exact color. Above and beyond while eating great food! Thanks.

From the moment you see the nostalgic looking sign, you are warmly invited into the original pancake house. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. The coffee was not my favorite flavor but the mug was super cute. I ordered the Swedish pancakes with Lingonberry and I would recommend them if you like lighter pancakes. It was HUGE though. The bacon on the side was delectable. My server was a gem and I can't wait to come back and bring friends here. There was traditional seating and also a comfy seat waiting or gathering area in the lobby. Parking adequate but tight. There were some EV chargers out front.

I have been a customer of this restaurant for over 20 years and have visited many of its locations. The Belt Line location in Addison is one of the best, thanks to its amazing staff. The supervisor, Andrew, and the server, Aida, are outstanding. I visited this weekend, and the new server, TK, also did a great job.

Staff was excellent and everyone was extremely friendly. Food was good as well! Had a chorizo omelette with a side of pancakes that was great!

Took my parents since it was recommended by my brother. The food was great, the service was great and Mario was very friendly and polite. Definitely going back again.

Somewhere I saw the The Original Pancake House was serving Apple Peach Pancakes. I had to have one. My pancake showed up in front of me piping hot and wonderful. I ate half and took the other half home. My husband had the BLT and was pleased with it. We got the biggest surprise of all. Our bill was paid by a lovely woman who sat behind us. Thank you from both of us! Update: Today’s experience was just as pleasing as the last time. We both had Eggs Benedict, but we went in different directions. My husband went Irish with hash browns and a side of potatoes. I had the Bacon Avocado Smash…totally yum. I think next time getting this dish I’d have the bacon on the side. It was hard to cut through the bacon, but it was too good to pass up.

Our waitress, Nela, was the best! She was attentive, and kind and we never ran out of coffee. We had a large group of 13. Nela deserved and earned her gift we gave her at the end. May Nela and the entire staff have a blessed and wonderful holiday season. We will all be back.

It came with lemon, powdered sugar, and whipped butter — simple but incredibly satisfying. It's a true classic that lives up to the hype! I also tried the Meat Lover's Omelet, and wow — they’re not kidding about the “meat lover” part. It was absolutely packed with bacon, sausage, and ham, and yet somehow still light and fluffy. The cheese was melty and flavorful, tying everything together beautifully. Portion sizes were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh. The manager (Andrew) was amazing . His energy is everything & will change your mood immediately . The small talk we had was well worth the conversation , all we did was laugh 😂. Food is excellent but there's excellent food all over Addison. We come here mostly for April, our favorite sever. They do have lots of choices, all cooked perfectly everything but again, April is what makes us come back often. Her personality is just lots of fun.

I ordered the waffles with a side of sausage links, my wife ordered the farmhouse. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our server Lisa was great, attentive, and very polite. The General Manager Andrew was very nice and easy going. The place is very clean, you can tell they take the time to actually clean properly.

Ive been a regular at OPH in Addison for four years. This establishment is a second house for me on Sunday’s. The food is always perfect, but the service and unmatched hospitality shines. Stacy, is the most phenomenal hostess. She keeps guest experiences lively and goes above and beyond in her intentionality to make sure you’re taken care of. I’m convinced the place would fall apart without her. Dora is also a phenomenal server. Her care and diligence to make sure your needs are met as a guest with her sweet smile make you feeling loved and seen. OPH is where community and fellowship happen with colored coffee mugs and laughs. If you ever want to have full service brunch leaving with joy this is the place to be.

Same as it ever was! Good omelets with a stack of three pancakes were a perfect breakfast. The coffee is served with tiny cream pitchers and it added a perfect touch to our whole experience. We forgot what a gem this restaurant is. It will be our new go-to for breakfast!

This was our first time eating here and I have to admit it was amazing. A waitress Lori was wonderful and down to earth. We had an this place while driving by many times but had never stopped by. Yesterday we were in the area and decided to try it out. We joined the wait list when leaving Galleria and when we arrived we waited maybe an additional 15 minutes, it was close to lunch time. The place is well kept and maintained. The staff was friendly, and our food was delicious. I had the pancakes. Definitely worth another trip back.

I love this location! Ofcourse because it’s a 5min away from my home! But in the 5 years that I’ve consistently been coming to this location, they had the same staff and managers that are awesome! My favorite waitress is Darelis! She is normally at the bar, I love going during the weekdays alone! She is always a delight to even mentions specials and other menu items when I want to shake things up. My intimate go to is the hacienda! But if you want simple the farm house is a good go to and they have turkey options as well

My waiter name was Lisa. Would I tell you she was nice professional and kind. Her service was top 10 plus. She made my eating Adventure pleasurable. She's also very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and that was a plus in my book. Lisa service is A+++.

Good breakfast place. Had the standard scrambled eggs, potatoes fruit bacon and pancakes. Huge portion, EXCELLENT service! Good go to for breakfast

My first visit here. I ordered the gluten-free waffle, scrambled eggs, sausage patties and mocha latte. The photos include a picture of poached eggs, waffle and bacon. The latte was delicious! It was rich with flavor and provided in a large mug. The sausage patties were really large and very tasty. The gluten-free waffle was wonderful! The scrambled eggs were not very good and lacked in seasoning. They tasted flat without flavor. The salt and pepper dispensers at our table were almost empty. The server, Luis D. was very attentive and made our visit go as smoothly as it did. I would come again, but would try the eggs in a different form.

Food has large portions. Flavor is good. Orange juice was fresh squeezed. They also have cappuccino and lattes. Decorated well with a warm feel. Server did a good job, was a little delayed, but they were very busy, so it's understandable. Over all had a good experience.

I am choosing to believe we had a one off negative experience last Sunday, so I won’t dwell on those details. I do, however, want to give a massive shoutout to the GM that was working on Sunday, January 4. He was incredibly quick to not only acknowledge our negative experience, but make it right - even letting us try his favorite seasonal pancakes. Other than the service during our dining experience, the food was delicious and we are hopeful to try this spot out again and try something new on the menu!

4.5 🌟 overall a very nice place. Hospitable. The services was good. They do try. The food was good and a value in that the omelet was 4 eggs not the standard 3. Loved the pancakes. The only real issue was the selection. They had migs, burgers dutch waffles and more. I just wanted diffeeent meats in my omelet and that was limited. Small issue I guess but that was one for me. Very nice place overall with a good experience. If I drank coffee maybe I would have liked even more.

I took my two young girls to OHP early this morning. It was chaos with two littles, but our server, Lisa, was a rock star. Very thoughtful, professional, patient and kind. I thoroughly appreciated her service. She helped make it a good morning!

We had a party of 8 and our server Taliyah never kept up with any refills or cleared out our table. She brought water at first, then brought some drinks (first and last time) and then took our orders, brought food (and was lost) and disappeared until she brought our ticket 30 minutes later and we weren’t even done eating and looked disappointed when we ordered a couple more things. We usually tip generously but with that kind of crappy service, I didn’t tip. And we’re from out of town and this was our first time eating at the pancake house and will probably not eat here again our next trip here. Food was excellent and the environment was good! Service was substandard. Thanks.

Paid over $90 for a tasteless poorly cooked breakfast. Went here with my parents to try a new spot and we were seated fairly quickly but ended up waiting close to an hour for our food to come out after ordering. I understand being slammed on a Sunday morning but for context we were very simple and didn’t request substitutions so it didn’t make sense for our food to take so long only to arrive undercooked and sloppy. Our omelet was only mushrooms and RAW onions inside of burnt egg. Worst of all, their house potatoes that are served as a side to almost every dish are RAW freezer potatoes from a bag. Atmospheres and layout was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this spot if you value restaurant vibes over actually eating. We will be sticking to ihop lol. Going to include picture of my Patty Melt and the menus description because what I received was a sad single patty, dry, flavorless puck of beef, that sat on top of a quarter of a raw onion. Not at all the Party melt they advertise in the menus.
