¡Simplemente, espectacular!, la comida es realmente deliciosa, el servicio impecable y el lugar acogedor. Gracias a la chef Gloria y a su equipo por hacer de nuestra visita, tan grata experiencia. Es un lugar imperdible si estás en Ajijic, sólo deben tomar la precaución de reservar.

La joya mejor guardada de la Ribera de Chapala. Agradable lugar típico; comida y servicio, simplemente extraordinarios. La dueña lo atiende y cocina personalmente, lo que asegura la calidad en toda la experiencia.

Buen servicio con una cocina deliciosa! El agua fresca, los platos del dia o hasta los frijolitos son recomendables. Especialidades el chamorro o camarones al coco. Seguro regresamos!

100% recomendable, hace mucho tiempo que una comida no me llenaba tanto de felicidad, mis felicitaciones a la chef (por su manera de cocinar se me hizo increíble su juventud) , para complementar tienen un servicio muy cálido lugar limpio, el mejor lugar para comer en Ajijic, solo hay que reservar antes.

Absolutely delicious food in Ajijic. We got here right when they opened, and there were plenty of tables available. We sat upstairs on the terrace, and it was so cute with a wonderful ambience. We got the refried beans to start, and they were sooo good. Best corn tortillas of my life. I got the risotto with pork, and it was really delicious. They have plenty of drink and margarita options as well. My husband and I both got the basil margarita - I personally didn’t love it, but my husband did. The basil is blended with the margarita, so the texture was just a bit off for me, but it was still very good.

Best restaurant in the area. Everything is spectacular. Make sure to make a reservation. Staff are very nice and I can’t say enough great things about Teocintle. I will miss it when I fly back tomorrow.

We were a party of 8, we sat upstairs. We had an amazing experience. Our host and waiter were incredible. Very attentive and fun. We had two apps, guacamole and the pablano dip. They serve them with their homemade tortilla chips and sweet potato chips. They were so good. We had numerous entries, and each one of them were fantastic. Their presentation of their dishes is so beautiful. We really enjoyed everything about our experience here. Will definitely return.

We recently had dinner here and it lived up to its expectations! We can't wait to go again! My only regret is that I can't eat more when I go. I would love to try all the appetizers and salads. The staff on the night that we ate were at the height of their game.

Such a great place!!! Service was awesome and the ambience was so authentic! It's really really good! But the food! The food!!!!! It's great! I had the steak and it was so delicious and the temp was perfect! I think it was better than the other steak houses out here. My siblings and husband had the mole, chicken and Chile en nogado, and they all loved their dishes. Would definitely come back!

Cocina mexicana hecha con esmero en una pueblo donde ahora los extranjeros parecen gobernar. Ellos son sus principales comensales, así que el ambiente no es precisamente muy local, pero la comida está muy bien lograda. Entre los platillos más afamados están el chile en nogada, el chamorro y las costillas de cerdo. Todos son muy recomendables. Para beber los vecinos del norte piden cocteles, pero también hay vinos y cervezas. Los precios son altos, pero conviene conocer el restaurante. El lugar cuenta con dos plantas, en la de arriba hay una agradable terraza.

Nuvo upscale Mex cuisine restaurant in old creaky Mexican house. Our waiter was wonderful and service was punctual. The Jamaica mezcal margaritas are amazing. Everything we ate was delicious and you definitely want to take your visiting guests here. Unfortunately I left there hungry - the wild caught salmon was great but just not a large enough serving to satisfy my appetite...( Photo attached.) Has anyone else noticed that serving sizes are getting reduced in some of the local restaurants or is it just my imagination?

Great concept with the corn and the food is amazing. Great presentation, service, atmosphere etc. One of the best restaurants in the area for sure. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it’s so expensive. I get it and if I were the restaurant owner I would also have the prices set as much as the market would bare and they have no shortage of customers. I’m glad that we tried it while we had guests in town, but I probably wouldn’t go back because of the prices. Both upstairs and downstairs are nice but I like the upstairs a lot more.

We ate here with friends, the service was almost nonexistent, yet other tables around us were getting extra service. The food looked pretty but the taste did not measure up to looks. We ordered things that never arrived, even after asking numerous times. I will not hurry back.

Me parece que la relación calidad precio no es la adecuada, la comida no me pareció rica, más bien algo regular, la atención fue amable pero en lo personal considero que le falta más higiene al lugar, creo que hay mejores opciones por la zona.
