During my stay, the most sublime evening took place at the Japanese restaurant, a culinary sanctuary where every detail borders on perfection. Under the impeccable direction of manager Ángel Macedo, a true custodian of excellence, and with the exquisite attention of Gabriela, whose skill and courtesy are commendable, the experience was elevated to an almost ceremonial level. Every moment, from the welcome to the last sip of tea, was imbued with a harmony that blends quality, care, and a refinement worthy of the highest tables in the world. Without a doubt, the culinary highlight of the entire stay.

This was one of the choices for the all inclusive deals we had at Unico Resort in Riviera Maya . The receptionist was courteous , got a room for us 5 . Ambiance was clean and decorated accordingly . Waitress Claudia was super attentive . Ordered dishes of which were disappointing , pork dish so salty and hard meat! I took a bite and no way I have to put it on the side for pick up . Thai soup was also same salty . I think if you are a Japanese restaurant and you serve a Thai soup, it is insulting to the Thai . We ordered Mura sushi( seaweed was so rubbery with poor quality rice seems like it's been sitting for a while ! Kebab was fairly freshly cooked and my son said it was okay . Can't go wrong if I ordered spicy tuna sushi which was made fresh , it was acceptable . The appetizers ie Eggroll was so much oil in it , seaweed salad was okay, tempura not what I expected ,edamame didn't like it having more soy sauce on it than just leaving it as it is with lil salt , we were hungry so we ate some of it . I was scared to even taste the food there's soy in mostl of it. We were glad the desserts were appealing to our palates and thus have to compensate for our non palatable dishes . They either have to hire a real Japanese chef so people will give good reviews .

Best restaurant at Unico! We’ve eaten at Mura House many times while staying at Unico. This trip is our third and final time staying there, and I noticed the restaurant only had one review, which is a shame because it’s a decent place in the world of all inclusive hotels where the food is almost always meh.
