I’ve been told I have a problem because everywhere I go, every place I travel, I research the area for breweries and try to visit as many as I can. I’ve a love for craft beer, but also the entire vibe of brewery life. Breweries have become a safe haven for everyone. It’s safe to bring your kids and pets. Everyone shares a love of beer. It isn’t like hitting up bars where you have to be aware of everything around you because a fight could break out any second. Almanac has a top of the line brewery. Take it from me. I’ve visited over 500 breweries in over twenty states and Almanac is easily in the top ten. First off, it is enormous. Multiple drinking areas both indoor and out. They have an in house pizzaria. They have an arcade area, a separate pinball area, televisions, and everything you could find at any top of the line brewery. The staff was friendly and genuine. The restrooms were clean. They a had hands free sink and hand dryer. There’s a back room for private parties. Can’t wait to come back on a sunny day and let my kids have some fun too.
Was in the area and glad I stumbled upon Almanac! Definitely a cool brewery with lots of Hazy options! Food trucks and vendors on site. I personally had: 1 Haze Mosaic Moutere Beers were $7. Also ordered some fries with one of the trucks. I believe there were a few non-beer options as well. Limited seating inside. We sat outside. There is street parking as well as a lot across the street.
Recently had our class reunion at Almanac and have nothing but, great things to say. Very accommodating and easy to work with. Thank you for helping make our reunion a success!
It's a Really great place to wind down. I went there with a friend and we had a great time trying beer, food truck goodness, and cheesecakes to go from a pop up outside! Those are some of the best cheesecakes I've ever eaten. They also have a lounge room where you can enjoy some fun table games and check out a skull from a 65 million year old monster. For kids they have some things to do as well. I spotted a sandbox right outside of the brewery. Fun, fun, fun.
Almanac Beer Co. was amazing! The location is a great industrial reuse project, with large and well-designed outdoor seating areas and spaces for food trucks and other food vendors. The interior is full of lots of funky art and artifacts (including an actual dinosaur skull) as well as classic video games and pinball machines and a sandbox for kids. The bartenders are super fast, so you don't have to wait a long time for drinks even if it's busy, and even better...the beer is excellent!!! They also have a large room for private parties. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Cute venue with a lot of outdoor seating and big umbrellas. The food is pretty hefty but it ain't cheap bar eats. Big portions and freshly made. The fries were so crispy. Pretty wide draft selection. Wish they had more than 3 ciders/sours!
Staff was super friendly and we were seated fast. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. We were able to sit outside and have our bikes next to us (definitely recommend biking here). Theres plenty of parking as well. They're ready with umbrellas and outdoor heaters. You can scan the QR code to pull up the menu and then you walk up to order. Plus, we've every table is socially distanced and they're dog friendly!
Huge space, tastefully decorated both inside and the outside patio. Large brewing operations right across. Lots of beer, mostly good. Not much by way of food - chips and peanuts. Supposedly food trucks but none on a Friday around 1:30pm.
It is one of the best breweries in the Bay Area. There are lots of award winning beers on tap. Great place for the entire family, including fur babies. Street parking only. Food trucks are available to satisfy your hunger. Must try their porters.
Good beers. Large airy industrial space. Pinball machines. Photo booth. Private room. Lots of picnic tables with umbrellas outside. Food trucks. Nearby/easy/free parking.
📍Almanac Brewery - Alameda, CA. - plum sournov -- sour aged in oak with plum and vanilla ($8) ive never had a plum flavored sour before so was pleasantly surprised! theres a refreshing hint of flavor along with a tangy taste at the end which made it perfect for a nice day out 😌 their sour and overall beer selections are amazing to choose from - you can also ask the staff to taste test if you're not certain of which one to choose from. they also have some food trucks available for snacks/meal! if yall are in the area then make sure to stop by as there's a really cute outdoor aesthetic (kid and doggo friendly) along with a small lounge area for 21+ only and some indoor seating available 🍻 10/10 would recommend and would go back! tips: • parking available nearby with street parking
Lots of delicious beer options and a great atmosphere. They even had 3 sours on draft which are sometimes hard to find. Food trucks are parked outside in case you get hungry with lots of good options.
Had a work event here. I liked the vibe and the variety of drinks they have. Looks like a cute place to have a personal or work event. All ages friendly. I'd definitely come back.

I go here a lot. I ending up going for light beers most of the time. All good! I get the hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. Both are juicy and have great flavors. I just discovered rosé slushies! Omg great for the summer. The outdoor seating is great with plenty of shade. They have fun events for people who like games. Good vibes! Oh yeah and I volunteer at the alameda Food bank and get a discount at Almanac for that. Check it out cuz it’s poppin’

Great beers across the board. 3 food options between in house pizza and 2 food trucks. Chose Scolari's food truck and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was outstanding. Huge indoor and outdoor space with big screen TV's to watch the games. Friendly staff and definitely pet friendly and kid friendly place.

I love the vibe of the place. It has a really nice indoor and outdoor spaces. The indoor has a very spacious and lively main room and then a secondary Lounge room. The outside area has got large big picnic table seating with some shade cover. The reason I'm giving this a 4 instead of a 5 is that unless you love IPAs or sours (I like neither), there's not much on the menu. They had two stouts, and I got 1 of them. It's a decent Irish stout (Banshee Cry). Not worth me driving back over here anytime soon for it, though.
This location was great your in Alameda on a hot day over here is cooler because your near The Bay so if your doing evenings bring a Hoody, jacket, or sweater or blanket. Parking is easy a lot of space. It's Almanac they make great beers their IPA and of course the sours are freaking awesome. The place is well decorated if your into that I just mainly come to drink. They hace a great selections of beer and their seasonals is drives me here. If your hungry there is a food vendor here that makes some excellent food I had there fried chicken and let me tell that is one hella good fried chicken. With goid beer and great food you can't go wrong. Great location and great food and beer. A must if your into sours and great beer. Cheers🍻
Nice beer choices even though our selection, things we hadn't tried before, didn't wow us for hazy IPA's. The venue however is awesome and difficult to rate. There's the very nice beer garden, a variety of food venues, eclectic beer selection and other drinks such as the slushee and rose... Service quality varied depending on the stand, but was friendly at the brewery. We liked the eclectic ambiance of the place, very fun. The place is hopping so parking can be tough despite street and dirt lots around.

Ok so we love Almanac and nothing bad to say about the beer or environment. I’m giving it a 3 star as we were in earlier in the day to sit at the bar, enjoy beer and the amazing slushies. We were excited to watch our out of state football game and the staff changed the channel for us. However after the first half, another patron came in and requested a change of games and they accommodate which I get however when we voiced that hey can we watch the rest of ours, the beer tender laughed and spoke under under her breath. I get that that this place is busy and maybe this wasn’t the right venue for us to to expect to watch a game but no common courtesy was given or even a hey I get it or sorry. She literally laughed with the person who changed it. I wouldn’t write this if someone would’ve said “hey we can’t please everyone and we need to change it, our apologies” but nothing. I’m giving this a generous 3 star as we love the beer and environment. But let’s do better with common courtesy.

Perhaps it was excessively crowded that day but there was a long line for all the food trucks. A long line for the bar. At Scolari's food truck it seemed like no one was helping and the line wasn't even moving. The crowd was lively and fun, but the lines were so long that after waiting in one for over 15 minutes we decided to leave Almanac and go to the Rake next door. Door. The Rake is awesome, we had a great time there- I would avoid Almanac and just go to the Rake in the future

The Brewery is ok but the Marley G’s pizza window is absolutely terrible. I ordered a slice and had to wait and hour for it. And even after the wait only half the slice was covered in cheese and the base was burnt as you can see in the pictures. I wish I could rate the pizza window itself I. This brewery but they don’t show up on google maps.
