Adorable and Delicious! You know those super cute cafés you see on Instagram, but when you go the food is bland or subpar and though it looks pretty and the atmosphere is on point you just paid a ridiculous amount for some subpar food and some "cute photos" well this isn't that place. Not only is decor and vibes on point but the food definitely hit a spot! I had the honeycomb latte and my mom had the hot chocolate (super good!) And we shared the Bulgogi Croissant for a quick bite!

Spacious and beautiful cafe. Good place to get some work done. I got a strawberry matcha and it was okay. Matcha flavor felt a bit weak. Probably wouldn't purchase food here again. Didn't feel like it was worth it for the price.

They have unique drinks that all look delicious and taste equally good. We had a pound cake that was a tad bit dry but had very nice flavor. The bacon jalapeño sandwich was bomb. The sweet and savory toast was good but wish the sweet option was toasted as well. We sat out side on a perfect day and the patio was nice but the benches were uncomfortable. Overall an awesome spot. Will definitely come back to keep trying their creative menu.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The iced coffee was smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced—not too bitter and super refreshing. You can really taste the quality of the coffee, and it stayed great even as the ice melted. The sandwich was just as good—fresh bread, generous portions, and everything tasted made-to-order. Warm, flavorful, and filling without being heavy. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for both coffee and food.

Went here to telecommute in the morning. The coffee options are great! I ordered the Einspänner and my wife ordered the matcha cloud. Both are very good and the Matcha Cloud is probably one of their most popular drinks. I can see why, it’s creamy but light and offers the perfect ratio of matcha foam and milk, and not overly bitter nor too sweet. The Einspänner strikes a good balance of a milky and iced coffee drink. Not too sweet nor too bitter. We ordered the kimchi and egg sandwich also which is a Korean fusion ciabatta sandwich. The kimchi adds a nice kick to the sandwich and comes with a balsamic vinegar spring mix salad. Overall for 2 people we paid around $40 for 2 drinks, a sandwich and a pastry. Seems like a lot for a coffee spot, but after trying it, the quality justifies the cost. For atmosphere, there is plenty of seating and WiFi available. 2 of the tables have outlets available, so if you plan to telecommute from here, I’d recommend getting here early. Though I suspect that wouldn’t be too hard considering it’s not too busy here during the weekdays. As far as other amenities there is a very clean bathroom available and outdoor seating.

We sat outside in the Parklet and enjoyed the peace and quiet around 11:30am on a Saturday. It started to pick up when we left around 12:30 and all the inside tables were full. We parked on the street with no issues getting a spot. Food was Delicious! The bulgogi croissant was flavorful and a large portion. My friend had the salad with the chicken thighs and it was a healthy amount of greens with juicy chicken and kimchi. We loved our coffees and can’t wait to come by to try the honeycomb or the s’mores latte 🤤

Out of all the drinks we tried, I highly recommend the Tiramisu Latte — I’m still thinking about it to this day. It had the perfect balance of flavor without being overly sweet, while still maintaining a rich, delicious coffee taste. My husband ordered the Honeycomb Latte and really enjoyed it, and my sister got the Biscoff Latte, which she loved as well. We’ll definitely be back!

PRAISE BE! A true cafe, open after 3pm! I came in on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too busy, which was surprising because my food was excellent and the coffee was too! It's comfortable for work or for just visiting. The clientele was eclectic (just the way I like it.) The employees are awesome (shout out to the woman on the register :) I'm definitely coming back!

My partner and I stumbled across Dandelion today while searching for a late brunch spot and WOW – what a rare gem! Most places close by about 2 or 3, but Dandelion is open until 4 during the week, which was perfect for us since I work overnight and sleep during the day. From the moment you walk in, the space just radiates good energy: warm, calm, and peaceful in a way that just makes you want to linger. It’s bright and welcoming, with an airy design that feels clean, quaint, and just… happy. I could easily see myself coming here to get some work done on a quiet afternoon. Inside seating was so pleasant, but they also have a south-west facing patio if you prefer to brunch in the sun :) We ordered at the kiosk (super easy, though you can also order at the counter) and everything came out quickly. Drinks: the iced matcha cloud latte with oat milk was hands down the BEST, creamiest matcha I’ve ever had – this is not an exaggeration - I actually ordered two! Food: we had the bulgogi croissant sandwich and the egg & kimchi sandwich – both delicious. Even the small salad on the side was incredibly fresh and worth finishing. The staff were kind and friendly and checked in to make sure we were happy with our meal (thank you!!) Bonus points: I noticed they have at least one high chair for little ones. Dandelion is more than a café- it’s a sanctuary we’re lucky to have stumbled upon.

Cute little spot, came in to do some schoolwork. Enjoyed a yummy bacon breakfast sandwich, a Biscoff late with a cookie on the side! Definitely recommend checking it out, friendly staff and nice atmosphere, chill music & cozy. Super sweet side note: saw them coming out and making sure the doggy had water. Thought that was super kind 🫶 Will definitely be returning.

Super quiet & calm atmosphere when I went. The interior design was super pretty too. Food was superr good and worth the price, and their coffee was the first I could actually finish; considering I'm not much of a coffee person. Would 100% recommend. Service was super nice too ♥️ kept checking in and making sure I was alright, if I needed anything, made sure I knew they had self-serve water and where to put my dish when I was done. Great place!

Really delicious sandwich and coffee drink. Another highlight is the bright, great for chilling vibe. Could sit there for hours and be happy. They did run out of ciabatta, and the white bread was honestly too soft and lacking integrity for the sandwich, though the combination of flavours were still amazing. I also wish they served me my dine in drink in the glasses they use in their marketing, as that would have elevated the experience. All in all, still a very special place that I look forward to returning to.

Dandelion Kaffe 🌼 (formerly Preacher’s Daughter — yes, we’ve been waiting that long) We’ve been trying to eat here for about a year, so finally making it in felt like a small brunch victory. The vibe is trendy-cozy garden, not trendy-bougie. Lots of plants, light, and a warm aesthetic—relaxed but intentional. It does get lively inside. The music didn’t block conversation, but turning it down just a notch would make chatting easier and less “project your voice.” Seating is mostly high-top tables with bar seating along the side, plus some outdoor seating. It fills up fast, and once it’s full there’s a subtle “eat efficiently so the next people can sit” energy. I didn’t notice high chairs, so it’s probably not the most stroller-friendly setup. Food was good, not stellar (3.5/5). We had the Fired Benedict and the Spicy Seoul Bowl. Both were enjoyable, with the Seoul Bowl featuring some interesting, creative flavor combinations. The Signature Housemade Sauce added flavor but leaned more “high-quality store-bought” than truly distinctive—fine, just not crave-level. The Fired Benedict also left my husband still feeling a bit hungry (and he’s not someone who eats until he’s stuffed), so portions felt on the smaller side. The Biscoff Latte and Honeycomb Latte were very good, though full honesty—we don’t usually do sugary lattes, so this was a splurge treat rather than a regular order. A few practical notes that are actually helpful: • Free Wi-Fi • Vegan options available • You can order at a kiosk or in person (we chose in person—personal preference to keep humans employed) • Several people were on laptops, and it genuinely seemed like a solid spot to get some focused work done Service was neutral—somewhat pleasant, efficient, not especially warm. Customers bus their own tables, which makes the tip prompt feel a little awkward (modern tip culture remains… a thing). Overall, glad we finally went and enjoyed our brunch date experience. Not sure it’s a regular return spot for us given the price-to-wow ratio, but it’s a nice brunch or light work spot if you’re already nearby. We walked, so parking wasn’t a factor. Rating: 3.7–3.8 ⭐ Good vibes, solid food, nice place to sit and connect or focus—just short of crave-worthy.

Dandelion Kaffe is a charming and refreshingly unique spot in Alameda. It’s a matcha-forward cafe, which instantly sets it apart — you can tell they’re trying to do something special here, and I’m all for it. The ambiance is cozy and nostalgic, especially with the bar seating that gives off an old-timey vibe. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a relaxed brunch with friends as it does for solo time with a book and a latte. The brunch menu is right up my alley — Asian fusion with savory options. There’s real thought behind the dishes, and it shows. Now for the matcha: the taste still has room to grow! It was a bit gritty, and I wasn’t a fan of the sweetener used. That said, the drink was well-mixed, frothy, nice and cold for a hot day. I’m hopeful for what’s ahead. I’d love to see the quality of the matcha improve, and I’m definitely curious if their menu is seasonal. This place has a lot of heart and potential, and I’m looking forward to giving it another shot soon. 🦁

Was my first time there, the staff is really friendly :) I also loved my drink, it was the biscoff latte and it came with a biscoff cookie. The cafe itself is super cute and cozy. Only down side is that I only took 5 -6 sips and my drink was all gone. I looked at my small cup and it was all ice left. It was filled 3/4 of the cup. Too much ice :( for the price + tip.

Cute, but lacking in a couple areas. The layout of the space doesn’t really serve the type of operation they are running — huge bar space in the middle (no alcoholic drinks on the menu) and tiny coffee counter in the back (clearly the best thing they have to offer is their matcha lattes). It’s like they want to be a hopping brunch place but don’t have the staff or clientele to see that vision through. Food was fine — our side salads had like a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar but were otherwise undressed. Sandwich spread was unevenly applied, made for a strange flavor experience, but the kimchi was good. Bread was floppy and crumbly, hard to eat. Overall definitely not worth the price, I would come back for a coffee or matcha but definitely not food.

Not reading comments. I asked for well done egg on my pesto toast but didn’t get it. Ordered a cafe latte, but got a cappuccino-ish cup because there was too much milk foam. I didn’t complain in person but I thought i should share…nice layout and atmosphere. My pesto toast still turned out good. My husband likes the leftover bar from preacher’s daughter layout, but it feels off for me. Still enjoyed dining by the bar experience

I came in because of the generally good reviews and ordered a dirty ube latte. Not sure what they used for it but it was completely not drinkable. Possibly ube extract or something that just stuck to your tongue and I had to wait to get home to wash it away. $8 for me to throw it away as soon as I got home. Hopefully all the other drinks are made better.
