Opinions de Poke Parlor Alameda
I think this is our new Poke spot! Not only was our bowl packed, but it was beautiful and delicious. All the fish and sides were incredibly fresh. We got one Large Build a Bowl ($22) and it fed our whole family (two adults and two toddlers) after a swim lesson for the kids and bike ride!
Everything is fresh! And they have handrolls and a kids option! My favorite is that they have signature bowls already picked out instead of only the build your own.
I stopped by to grab myself dinner and was impressed by the quick and super kind service I received. I will be coming back! The sriracha aioli was 10/10 for me!
Friendly staff and super fast service. You can order from preset menu or build your own bowl. Small, medium or large. Great selection of food items. They offer made to order cooked items as well as raw fish. We got the Tuna Lover upgraded to large bowl and a custom large Poke bowl. Everything was delicious and fresh! I also enjoyed the fruit infused teas. The ambiance is nice if you want to dine in. Bright and clean. Highly recommend!
Yummy!! Having been spoilt by poke in Hawaii, it's hard to find poke that are up to par here away from the islands. But, Poke House surprised me. Fresh, tasty and tender tuna Delicious varieties of seaweed Assortment of toppings Mix-in add ons We (yes, a large poke bowl satisfied two of us adults) enjoyed the poke bowl of tuna with a varieties of seaweed, corn, cucumber, masago, pineapples, furikake, purple cabbage, with house shoyu. It was so appetizing and refreshing especially after a weekend of heat wave. They have octopus, shrimp and salmon, but we preferred tuna only. So can’t comment on the other proteins. Service was fast and efficient, though we were there just before dinner time. We will be back!

If you're looking for a fresh and flavorful poke experience in Alameda, look no further than Poke House! I recently visited this gem and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the menu. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly staff who were more than happy to guide me through their offerings. The ambiance is bright and inviting, perfect for a casual lunch or a quick dinner. I appreciated how clean and well-organized everything was, which set the right tone for what was to come. Now, let’s talk about the poke! I opted for the classic Ahi Tuna bowl, and it did not disappoint. The fish was incredibly fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. I loved the variety of toppings available—everything from avocado and seaweed salad to spicy mayo and sesame seeds. The best part? You can customize your bowl to your heart's content, which is a huge plus for anyone with specific tastes or dietary preferences. I also added a side of their house-made miso soup, which was the perfect complement to my poke bowl. It was warm and comforting, with just the right balance of flavor. Another highlight was the pricing; for the quality of the food, I found it to be very reasonable. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring I left feeling satisfied without breaking the bank. Overall, Poke House has quickly become my go-to spot for poke in Alameda. Whether you're a poke aficionado or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and try more combinations! Highly recommend! 🍣🌊✨
Very pleasant experience picking up some lunch during their grand opening. Each of the staff were helpful as I progressed down the line, creating my poke bowl. The fish was very fresh & well balanced on seasoning/sauce. There was not as many topping selections compared to some of the competing poke restaurants but still plenty of solid choices to pick from. Overall portions as well as price were on par with comparable market prices. Solid contender to fulfill my poke craving when I am in the area.
First time here and can't wait to go back. They answered all my questions and the food is AWESOME!
This is my go to spot for Poke in Alameda, CA. There's plenty of parking in the lot in front. It is small on the inside with a few tables but there's plenty of seating outside. My favorite items to order here are the Garlic Oyster Tuna and Spicy Spicy Tuna for the Large bowl option. Adding in Sushi Rice as the base. Mix-Ins with Purple Cabbage, Sweet Onion, Corn, Edamame, and Green Onion. For sauces I went with just two - Sriracha Aioli and House Shoyu. And finally topping it off with Crispy Onions, Nori Strips, Pickled Ginger, and Sesame Seeds. It was a packed bowl. Staff was super friendly during the whole ordering process and completion, and would definitely recommend this spot to friends and family.
The bowls are generous, customizable, and full of vibrant flavor, and the service is friendly and quick. It’s an easy go-to spot when you want something tasty and satisfying.
Really nice to have a poke place closer to where I live. I’d say the poke bowls are a good deal - you’ll get more bang for your buck with the hot bowls tho (esp the Crispy Shoyu Bowl). Regardless, the fish is still very tasty, and there’s a good variety of toppings. Place gets busy during usual peak time and days, but I’ve always been lucky and always found a table. Employees are also friendly.
Amazingly addictive food. I crave it almost all the time after my first time trying this specific establishment. The people are so nice and in a really nice spot.
Yummy bowls with quick service! Easy for a lunch break meal ✨️

I stopped by Poke House for a quick lunch and tried their House Salmon bowl. The portion size was generous and satisfying, making it feel like good value right off the bat. The highlight was definitely the salmon itself—fresh, clean-tasting, and prepared with care, which made every bite enjoyable. The only element I didn’t love was the seaweed that came with the bowl; its flavor felt a bit overpowering compared to the rest of the ingredients. Service was efficient and no-fuss—my order came out quickly, making it an easy spot for a lunch break without a long wait. The staff was professional and kept things moving smoothly, which fit perfectly with the casual style of the place. As for the ambiance, it’s a small, no-frills restaurant with a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The layout works well for a quick bite, though it’s not the type of space where you’d linger for hours. Overall, Poke House is a solid choice if you’re craving fresh salmon and need a fast, satisfying meal. The quality fish and quick service make it stand out as a lunch spot, even if the seaweed wasn’t quite to my taste.
Love that they offer a hand roll option—something you don’t often find at other poke spots! The pace was a little slow though, and the line kept forming inside the small shop 😂

I got some very fresh product from their variety which was like a bar! Expect a very friendly environment!
A new Poke place in South Shore Alameda opened a few days ago. This was my first time trying this place. I didn't have high expectations because it's new, and I was sure there were certain things that needed to be improved. I ordered a Roasted Miso Chicken and my friend had spicy tuna.ije was about 12 bucks and his was about 16 bucks. When I looked at the menu board, it did say any bowl with a drink but it didn't have a price. I assumed it's free but it was not and it supposed to be 2 dollars more. They needed to change that because it was misleading. We both agreed that the overall quality of the food was just medicore. The base which was rice filled only 1/4 to 1/3 of the bowl. The sauce was not enough and only placed on the top of toppings. My bowl had about 4 pcs of chicken and the rest was the sides. Of course the prices would increase if you order more toppings... are their quality and quantity of food worth the prices? Personally speaking... No. It's quite expensive. Maybe filling up the rice or the other base choice more than 1/3. Like I said earlier... it still needs some improvement. Would I come back? It's hard to say.

Dunno if it was just an off day or what, but this was not a good bowl. I noticed the staff was very inconsistent in how they prep the ingredients between each order. Not every poke place needs to do it the same way, but at least the staff in a single restaurant needs to do it the same way so customers know what to expect and not get some kind of roulette of ingredient ratios or bowl arrangements

my first time trying a poke bowl , was skeptical but why not. i ordered online and when i got there they didnt have it ready so i had to wait a couple extra minutes, no biggie. but when i saw the bowl, $17 for that small amount ?? dang. the salmon chunks were also bigger than the tuna so it was weird over powering. also got a stomach ache after. never again probably
Caught food poisoning. Friend says they’ve seen them cross contaminated by putting new fish in old sauce trays. Would have been great info two days ago.
You charge extra $2.00 for seaweed salad. Seriously???? You should consider keeping the food prep area clean. Seriously tho extra $2.00 for a pinch of seaweed salad. Never ever paid for seaweed salad for a poke bowl.
The restrooms are closed Gianna told me to use HomeGoods bathroom. Not to mention she was rude and speaking over me as well as rushing me to pick my sauces and toppings. The other girl was sweet and patient Trinity. Bowl was good pricey but worth the price.
