Opinions de Wing Lee B.B.Q. Restaurant Alameda
Food quality is really high quality. Love the fried fish when they have it. The black pepper spare ribs and very potato heavy chicken curry are amazing with white rice. Not cheap but definitely not expensive. Two item with white rice is worth it for a couple small meals or a very large one.
It's been a few years since we've been here Clements Chinatown. Love this area .. Small Chinatown. Love this place .. reasonable price n tasty. Love their Black bean Pork, Vegetables n Chicken n Steam Rice .. tasty n satisfying 😋👍 Next door is their Dim Sum .. there's always a line. Love the Pork, Shrimp, big size . They ran out of Mochi with Sesame n sugar inside. Nice stroll .. New stores opened up Didn't have time to go Kamei ... For bowls ....
Prepared deliciously, variety of food, fast service. Payment in cash. Easy to find - right at the crossroads is the deli.
Do yourself a favor and order a whole soy sauce chicken. Everything else is great here as well but I think their soy sauce chicken is a notch above the rest!

This is the best Chinese barbeque spot in the city, you can get the best chow mein, fried rice and char SIU and ribs. Sometimes the line is long , but it is worth the wait.
No seating but amazing eating.
Don't come for service, but you can't beat the price for Chinese fast food ($5.99 for a lunchbox of 2 entree items of your choice with noodle or rice 9/1/17). Many more options than the Panda! And don't miss Wing Lee Dim Sum next door for great dumplings & buns!
We all love heavy handed Chipotle employees who "accidentally" give too much guac, but have you ever had a rice plate with so much meat that you can't even see the rice anymore? 🍖🍚 Heaps of crispy pork and roast duck over rice for just $12. Flavorful, tender, and juicy. Lots of other tasty meats and veggie options too, including salt and pepper chicken wings and fried tofu with egg plant. Eat your take-out on the 8th Street bench outside the Mountain Lake Dog Park, and get ready to greet the many puppers that show up, begging for a bone. 🦴🐕
I love this place, favorite bbq shop on Clement. I only wish they were open Mondays because that’s the easiest day for me to get there. Been going for years when I can, service has always been just fine. As for atmosphere, it’s takeout so what do you expect.
Very nice people friendly and food is 10/10

Prices slightly up from a few years ago, but tell me how many places in the city can you get a tasty lunch with generous portions and for well under $10? At Wing Lee BBQ! Not the friendliest staff, on the border of rude lol, but I’ve come to expect it as I’ve been in and out for over a decade. The man with the apron is nice tho!

A place to get freshly roasted ducks, chicken, or pork and other savory dishes when you don't have time to cook or want something different from your meatloaf for dinner. You will not strain your wallet much as the prices are low but quality high. There is a good selection of dim sum as well. A nice place for take out meals.
Wing Lee BBQ is one of the three Chinese BBQ places I frequent on Clement. Their BBQ is always on point, not too greasy and well spiced. Their roasted pork is bomb, as is the BBQ chasiu pork. The take out food is also pretty good, especially the fried rice and noodles. Parking is a little tricky around the area, but if you know what you want, you can pop in real quick and grab all you need for dinner.

The food was hot and very fresh. The noodles were very good and I didn’t enjoy the duck like I did when I was younger. The flavor wasn’t there..
I popped in for some quick Chinese takeout, and it seemed like they were undergoing partial construction. I ordered the deep-fried salt and pepper shrimp, chicken wings (which were a bit under-seasoned and greasy), and their Chinese sticky rice, which lacked flavor and needed soy sauce to enhance it. Surprisingly, these three dishes at half a pound each totaled $32, which was a bit higher than expected. They accept credit cards but require a minimum of $15 minimum. The parking in the area is always an issue. No free lots. While convenient for locals, it's not worth going out of the way for given the many other comparable options nearby.

Don’t buy roast pork from this place. I’ve been here several of times to order rice plate, the old, old lady that carve the roast pork will not cut any of it for your rice plate. She would try to have you buy a big strip. If you ask a second time. She serves it with a lot of unnecessary attitude.
I was about to buy there , when i saw the employee wearing a mask mopping the floor with some kind of chemical that you can smell across the street. I used to frequent that restaurant till I saw that employee mopping the floor with a strong odor of chemical while the food is still on display. They need ro be educated on health hazzards of chemicals while food is still on dispkay. Never again will I buy food there.
THE FOOD IS GREAT 👍 BUT THE LADY WHO WORKS THE CASH REGISTER WAS SCREAMING AT ME. I WAS TRYING TO ORDER PORK CHOPS, PORK FRIED RICE AND VEGGIES. SHE KEPT SCREAMING AT ME SAYING YOU WANT A COMBO I SAID YES. BECAUSE I WAS ASKING FOR THE MEAT FIRST INSTEAD OF THE ENTREES FIRST SHE WAS SCREAMING AT ME. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. SHE WAS NICE TO EVERYONE ELSE WHO WAS NOT BLACK I WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS BLACK.
Blatant racism. You'll likely get scraps/bones if you aren't Asian/Chinese. There has been several times where I'll wait patiently in line, only to get overtalked and skipped in line by someone Asian behind me. You'll watch them double-pile the plates of the Asian customers (especially if you can communicate with them in Chinese), while majority of everyone else just gets sloppy plates. Clement BBQ is literally 1 block away, and I'll 100% go there every single time over this place. Never once experienced racism/trash customer service from them, and they're more flexible with the combos.
The lady with glasses and white cap is very rude. I asked for napkins and utensils but she ignored me. I asked again and she said "Just wait!" Then she said "We don't give napkins and utensils to you unless you order rice or food that require chopsticks!" What kind of rule is that? Do you expect every customer to use their hand to eat the chicken? (If you don't understand cantonese, you won't pick up on her unnecessary comments) 5 🌟: Rest of the friendly female and one male were wonderful. They handed me napkins and utensils with excellent servive. Their food was good and worth the price
Cash Register Lady with glasses gave us an attitude! My friend politely ask for extra napkins in Cantonese but she didn't respond while processing the transaction. He asked again and she flipped and said "JUST WAIT AND HOLD ON!" When it was my turn I took out my phone credit card for paperless payment. The phone need to be slanted for it to work. She said try again. Then she grab my phone said "Debit no credit!" Couldn't she have said they only accept debit card instead of touching my phone?
