Joe & The Juice

Im German and during my vacation in NYC i visited this store a few times. The juices we had were really good but also really expensive. But these days its normal in the USA. The waiting time Was kinda long, but there were many people so i think its ok. The staff was nice. The Restaurant itself is small with not so many seating options. They have a really cute view and the walk to Central Park is short so its perfect to enjoy the juice there. I would drink a Juice by Joe and the Juice again, and maybe i will try another store too.

Strongly recommend Spicy tuna sandwich 🥪. Juice 🍹 It would be better for fiber intake if they could keep some of the pulp instead of making it pure juice

Shake was 10/10 The Steak (sandwich) was a bit sparse.

We ordered a tuna sandwich for 9$ and the bread was burnt. Also, the seating are not comfortable.

Its just hard to get some healthy “fast food” in NYC and Joe & The Juice is one of the few options. I must say their sandwiches are indeed delicious but overall its really expensive and not worth it.

Food was ok, protein shake not really. Definitely not worth the money. Service was really slow, several customers had their orders ready before me when they ordered afterwards

I asked for a simple strawberry banana juice, and the cashier said I could have it “like that.” A minute later, they added that it actually has to come with an apple base. I asked if that meant apple or apple juice, and was told it was apple. Two minutes after that, they came back and corrected themselves—it was actually apple juice. The whole back-and-forth showed a lack of product knowledge and made the ordering process confusing. At a place that specializes in juices and smoothies, I expected the staff to know their menu and ingredients clearly. The drink itself was fine, but the experience highlighted a real need for better training and communication.

Visited while walking to central park for some coffee and a quick bite. The coffee was fine. The juice was meh. The sandwich flavor was fine but the bite on it was hard. It was not pleasant. You take the whole top bread with you on the first bite. Not really sure if this is supposed to be normal but I was not a fan.

Americanos were warm not hot, steak sandwich and apple juice were ok.

No complaints as far as food quality goes. But I would probably be stressed out by this place if I was in a rush. All garbage cans overflowing and tables not cleaned. Also they forgot to give me my cookie but were kind about it when I went back up to ask.

Classic as always, avocado toast and iced americano. Healthy, fast, good price performance. The employees at this location are sweet and the tables are very clean :)

I ordered a Tunacado sandwich with extra peppers and cucumbers through the seamless app, but there were no peppers. What was worse was that the cucumbers were sliced almost half an inch thick. They were difficult to bite through due to their tough skin, and the thick slices overwhelmed the flavor, as they were the dominant taste in every bite. I would suggest to slice cucumbers thin and put extra pieces instead of one.

$8 latte with no coffee in it. Never stopping into another Joe & Juice, I learned my lesson.

I got charged for 2 tunacados when I only ordered 1. When I mentioned it to the employee, he denied it and said he did not. Don’t come here after 9pm unless you want to be overcharged.

Place and the coffee is good but the staff is not welcoming you at all. They were all having conversations between each other quite noisy but when it comes to costumers he wasn’t so happy and smily to interest

Let this tomato slice I paid $2 extra for tell you all you need to know about this location. This was via delivery so learn from my mistakes and order elsewhere. Everything was bad btw.

Manager is Discusting rude and they throw extra hidden charges on the receipt. Place is filthy. Asked for a refund and when he issued the refund back on th3 card it was only a partial refund. Then the rest of the refund after I told him he didn't give a full refund he gave the rest in coins. Manager is Pictured.

The tables are dirty, toilet out of order. The female staff member was very rude Music too loud. Having said the the coffee was good.

The experience at this location made me not want to try anything else from any other. I was waiting on a friend so I decided to check it out and it was a bad idea. I waited over 10mins for my blue magic vegan shake that was not blue at all and the person there was just standing there trying to figure out how to make it, no communication then someone asked to use the restroom and she was told it's out of service so put a sign up! My shake was gross, warm and the cup wasn't full it was just at the Joe logo. I tried to force myself to drink it and my friend is vegan and they were like toss it. I should've asked for a refund to be honest because it was horrible I just wanted to get out of there, but what a waste.

Staff is unprofessional and coffee was watered down and bland. Definitely won’t ever come back here.

An employee refused to clean my dirty table after I asked him to! He handed me a pile of napkins and I had to clean it myself. Unacceptable!

We probably found the worse place in midtown. I had to beg for a spoon and another person received a cake that was frozen. She had to ask twice to warm it up and it still was cold. The employes were not helpful at all but unfriendly. We should have asked for our money back.

Nice staff. Location was packed. Ordered a nutty smoothie. I have had explosive diarrhea ever since. They were not washing the blending units, classic time temp abused food.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. On Aug 4 my son and I walked to this location. The store is dirty, the bathroom was not working. There were 3 employees, the guy took my order, one girl was clearing garbage and the other girl was doing random stuff. The girl clearing the garbage moved and was clearing the garbage near the bathroom. We heard a loud scream and the girl ran to the back saying “eww I can’t” then began saying how the huge rat isn’t something she can deal with. The other female employee told her to be quiet. During this time there were two groups of customers, myself and another family. The employee throwing the garage out then started walking around the counter area, she took it upon herself to go and put my bread back in the press, I then said “I don’t want that” her other two employees tried to tell me she did change gloves. She CLEARLY DID NOT! By this time another group of people came in and I told them to go elsewhere. The one employee got upset of our “allegation” and told us to leave. Which I happily did after I received my refund. The original employee who was handling garbage then tried to make my sandwich hid in the back like a coward. I filed a complaint with the health department and I will be contacting head office. STAY AWAY

I went to the Joe n the juice on 55th n 6th Ave at 920pm and the girl at the juicer bar said no juice no shakes no blended drinks just pastries n sandwiches. I walked out. The machine doesn’t looked like it was broken or anything - more like she wanted to go home asap. Terrible. I went on the January 30th and it the service was horrid to say the least.

We didn’t get our change back after we paid and the people behind the counter were more concerned about having fun rather than doing any work. Laughing, giggling and standing around seems to be their default. Last time we visited a store of this line. We get better service at the food trucks standing in the streets.

For my first experience , it was certainly not the best . Waited 15 minutes to get my order taken when there was 7 workers on the floor. They finally took my order when another person walked in ( a white women) . The Spanish girl made me food and rest my food on the counter without calling my name. My food was on the counter for 10 minutes. Another worker who happened to be passing by gave me my food . It’s funny , as soon as I left they want to start taking orders and look more productive. My advice : order ahead because they will have you waiting .

I’ve always loved their fresh juices and smoothies, but this time, my drink was watered down and lacked the vibrant flavors I remember. It’s disheartening to see a brand I admire fall short in such a crucial aspect. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously. This location has great potential, but it needs a complete overhaul in staff training and customer service. Until then, I won’t be returning, and I’ll be sharing my experience with others to avoid disappointment.
