Opinions de Fuzi Pasta Albans
If you like to eat a real Italian pasta, this is the place!!! made with love by the owner. This restaurant has the best food, I love everything. I'm always at home and I think about the Italian food, I have to come here! I went to Italy and the food was not as delicious as what they make here! I recommend this restaurant. The food is so tasty. The food is delicious. I've been to many fancy restaurants, but this one has the best Italian food. Thank you for everything, you guys the best!!!
This was my first time ever trying Fuzi and when I tell you from the service to the food everything was on point ! The Rosemary focaccia was warm and light and paired well with their house made marinara … divine and I can’t forget the whipped ricotta and mushroom crostinis ! Also amazingly rich and tasty. I ordered the rigatoni with Alfredo and chicken and it was flavorful and fresh (chicken is halal btw) with an Aperol spritz. To end the night I ordered a tiramisu to go and when I got home I and tried it I officially knew that FUZI PASTA CO was going to be my new go to Italian restaurant. Thank you guys !!
Ordered thru Ubereats, spaghetti w meatballs, garlic bread -Delicious! Also shrimp scampi with Blitva, my first, but not last time…EVERYTHING was delicious & free tiramisu was to die for! Will order from restaurant again & again!!!
We went last night and had fresh home made pasta, appetizers and dessert. The food was excellent, the staff was courteous, and the prices were reasonable. Everything you want from a restaurant!
A truly warm and friendly eatery with excellent staff and service. Cheap was first rate and was extremely approachable and knowledgeable. Now one of my go to local places! Strongly recommended. Great to be able to support local family run and orientated establishment.
Great little pasta place, clean and fast. Good food good service. Don’t be put off by some of the surrounding run down restaurants.
Just came from a delicious dinner here. We made a reservation for 2 and when we arrived the table was ready for us. It's a tiny place so if you're coming for a weekend dinner, call ahead. My husband ordered the lasagna. It was very well plated and absolutely delicious. He enjoyed every bite. It wasn't over sauced, and the ratio of cheese to meat was perfect. I got the Lemon Papardelle. Absolutely delightful. The shrimp was tender and the papardelle was cooked perfectly. A bit al dente. The basil creama sauce was tasty and I asked for more of the delicious focaccia bread to dip in it. The dessert...my husband got the Chocolate Bomba... the flavor pallet on this was unique and familiar at the same time. Choclate "lava" cake with a berry sauce, crushed biscotti cookie on the side and a few blueberries for added freshness. I got the honey panna cotta...what a unexpected delight. Served in cappuccino cup, it was creamy, fresh, and fun with the added Pop rocks. It's not overwhelming. I would of loved even more actually! Overall we throughly enjoyed our entire meal. Can't wait to make this our regular Italian dinner night spot.
Always a great experience going there and ordering food for my office mates.
Local spot and our family’s favorite place ! Food is always great and always Fresh!! Perfect for a Sunday night or any night for us lol. We love the staff and Chef Franco. So happy to have a place like this in our neighborhood.
Recently went to Fuzi pasta for a quick lunch. Service was very fast, the atmosphere was nice and comfortable. I had the rigatoni with arrabiata sauce-it was very food, usually the arrabiata sauce is never spicy enough but this was nice and spicy and will incorporated in the sauce. My mom had the aglio olio, the flavor was amazing. The focaccia bread was flavorful. I really like how they use locally sourced products. Definitely family friendly and will be bringing kids next time. Highly recommend!
Loved the pasta, service was fantastic and make sure you have dessert! The pizzelles were delicious and the panna cotta scrumptious. I especially liked the pumpkin pasta. It was bustling on a Friday night - seemed like a lot of regulars, glad to have this wonderful addition to the neighborhood.
I was so excited to visit with our neighbor to Fuzi restaurant and guess what!! Foods were so fresh and delicious, it was pouring day and we all loved the atmosphere as much as foods. I will definitely revisit when my girls come home from colleges.
My extended family recently enjoyed a lunch at Fuzi. The food was excellent, the prices fair, the service super and the desserts outstanding. I am grateful to Chef Franco for the accomodations he made for us and for making our meal easy to arrange and enjoyable to eat.
Great restaurant, love the food me and my wife come here once a week our server Lisa is great very friendly must try!!!!! The menu offers a wide variety of delicious options. The flavors are always on point and the presentation is great. The restaurant's ambiance is cozy and inviting. The service provided by Lisa is always great and always makes sure we have everything we need. We highly recommend trying this restaurant.
Walked into this place accidentally and was totally great! 10/10 from the food to dessert. Definitely will be back!
This is a great neighborhood restaurant. The owner and staff are friendly, and the food is always delicious! I highly recommend the rigatoni vodka with shrimp!
Fresh made fuzi and wonderful sauce. Appetizers were great and desert also. Cappuccino was delicious even without sugar.Great presentation.will come back again
The food is amazing, I ordered twice this week and so far the lasagna and the alfredo with shrimp amazing.
I'm sitting here right now enjoying amazing food with amazing staff. I had the Spaghetti Ala Vodka, my sister had the Fettuccine Bolagnese, followed by an equally amazing desert of Tiramisu, Pana Cotta (must have) and Chocolate Bomba...everything about this place is perfect.
I am impressed. Thumbs up! Genuine in food and service. A solid choice for italian food. Their hand-made pasta is excellent. And all other non pasta dishes are amazing as well. High quality.
This is the place for "PASTA"! What a wonderful and creative Menu. The Chef really knows what to do in this small place but full of charm , from the decor to the table settings, and the food, ahhhh the food, home made to perfection on every dish! Also very pleased to know that everything in the Menu there comes from local sources, from the olives to the wines! This is a must go place, check it out, you won't be disappointed!
A few nights ago, we tried FUZI for the first time. We shared a delightful mushroom appetizer with a honey drizzled creamy ricotta crostini then 2 pasta dishes: Ricotta Cavatelli and the special, Fuzi Salsa Oro. Both really good. Service was very attentive and personable. We enjoy finding local places and we will return.
The Best new Pasta place to go. Atmosphere is great and take out available for all your different favorite dishes. Chef Franco delivers tastefully authentic dishes for us to enjoy.
Owner Franco and team treat everyone like family. Food is amazing. If I could I’d eat there every day..
Great food, great vibes and great service, such nice people and one of the few places to still give free bread before your food. Loved it and it’s all well priced!
Moved out of the area but whenever I’m in Fresh Meadows, Fuzi is a must! I was going on a weekly basis with my 6 y/o nephew (he’s a picky eater) and now asks me to go whenever I’m in town. Everything from their homemade sauces and pastas to the excellent service, it really feels like you’re eating at friend’s grandmother’s place. Can’t wait to go back!
This restaurant reminds me of Sunday afternoon dinner at my grandma's house - truly authentic Italian! The meatballs and all of their sauces, especially the red sauce, is off the hook good. The brussel sprouts appetizer was amazing 🤩 They have set weekly specials AND daily specials - seriously, you cannot beat their prices for freshly prepared food. The only drawback is the small space. They have a free parking lot behind the restaurant.
Excellent service and food overall. The marinara sauce is excellent. The fuzi pasta was interesting but the sauce oddly was a bit bland / water compared to the marinara, maybe a bad day. Desserts were all excellent and we appreciated the tea cups used. There are a few menus so you need a few minutes to figure it out given the current restaurant week promotion. Waitress was very engaging, personable and attentive.
This was a next step in "Italian" food in Queens. Everything was fresh and delicious. All 4 generous plates were cleaned to the bottom. Servers were personable and friendly. They also offer lunch specials.
Excellent food and excellent service! Our waiter Nick was very accommodating! Repeat customer, and will definitely come back again! Love this place
We found this place when searching for best new restaurants in Queens and decided to give it a try and glad we did. Its a small place, simply and tastefully furnished. Service was prompt and pleasant. The food was outstanding, not overwhelming portions, but sufficient in size - appropriate for the quality being served. Pricing was very reasonable. Short list of wine choices, but expertly curated, both the bottles and carafe. We can't wait to go back and bring our foodie friends and try additional dishes, but the Fuzi and Mamas Sauce (Sunday's only) were fantastic - with the pasta made fresh in-house. Hats off to the the owner, Chef Franco!
Stopped by today and got a rigatoni alla vodka with chicken. The pasta was delicious and they also gave freshly made bread and some handmade biscotti for free. Everything was amazing and very fairly priced. From what I’ve seen, they make everything fresh here and you can really taste the difference. The servers were polite and there was ample parking around the restaurant. Will definitely come back again and try other things.
Place is inviting and intimate. We got complementary bread while waiting for our entrees. The bread was fresh and the dipping sauce served with it was a perfect compliment. We ordered three entrees; fettuccine bolognese, Rigatoni Alfredo with chicken, rigatoni Marinara with meatballs. We all loved our dishes and honestly was some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had!!! The prices were also reasonable which make this place a home run! I would 100% come back and recommend this place to others!
i just went here for dinner. my date and i loved the food. the service was great. it’s a small calm setting, it was very quiet. the food came quickly. Staff was so polite and professional.
Great atmosphere. Very welcoming and warm service. Fantastic server who greets with a smile and is so knowledgeable about the food served. Delicious food!! And do leave some space for desserts. Chef Franco personally checks on you. A hidden gem in the Fresh Meadows area!!
I went to Fuzipasta for the first time for take out. I was greeted by Ash, she was very polite, helpful and professional. I order 4 different pasta dishes. Franco the owner came out to greet me and he was very welcoming and we spoke for a few mins. The food was delicious and the other surprise dish they sent us was delicious as well. We will be going back to dine in on Friday. Thanks again Dino
Came in for lunch on a Saturday, We all ordered a lunch special, as well as the herb roasted vegetables as a starter. Everything was really fresh and delicious! I had the special Ribollita soup and Caprese salad, and the kids had vegetable soup and Spaghetti & Meatballs. The portions were generous for the price and we left very satisfied. Definitely will come back to try the rest of the menu.
I loved the comfortable and casual atmosphere. The playlist was 10/10. Service was friendly, attentive and accommodating. All the food was delicious. I loved the little complimentary soup. The portions were just right in that you most likely won't need a doggy bag. Overall, a fun and relaxing experience and I hope to be back again!
Fuzi is a family favorite for birthday parties, or even just a normal night’s dinner. Their takeout, for 2 or for 10, is always delicious, fresh, and ready on time. We get compliments each time!
I just wanted to give a shout out to the whole Fuzi staff of today. The incredible Chef Franco who works his magic back in the kitchen with his delicious beautiful incredible dishes that he presents. Jude the lovely amazing server who gave us such an awesome experience today. I came there for some late lunch after picking up both of my girls from elementary school. So happy we did. The chicken is 100% percent certified halal and it was so yummy and tasty, flavorful and juicy. My girls love the alfredo-ish sauce with the penna pasta. I love the al-vodka sauce. The complementary fresh bread and warm red sauce they bring to the table is very yummy. They also give a glass bottle of water to start of with while looking at the menu, What a huge PLUS for both. My favorite DESSERT was the chocolate warm lave cake that's called the Bomba. My girls had the red velvet gelato. The homemade Lemonade was so good, we finished it before Our entries came to the table. Thank you so very much for such a great time. The atmosphere was SOOOOOOOO nice. I'll be coming back there soon again and I highly recommend this place to all. The menu has so many vegetarian options as well.
First time ordering, not only was the food delivered quickly, it was very delicious. We will definitely be ordering again. Thank you!
Great food! Could see the staff was attentive and every customer seemed to enjoy their food and was satisfied. There were about 8 tables, smaller place so if you have a large group make sure you make a reservation. We enjoyed the place and next time we are in town, we plan to stop by again!
My husband's and my favorite place to go! They rotate specials weekly, offering fresh & locally sourced food. Everything is paired wonderfully, coupling seasonal offerings for dinners, apps, soups & drinks! Peter is the best server!! There isn't enough good things to say about this place! We have brought family & friends to dine, because we love it so much! Relaxed, atmosphere, tastefully decorated & comforting in every way.
In just a few words; this place is a hidden jewel. We went there for dinner and were completely overwhelmed with the excellent and attentive service and exemplary quality of all of our dishes from start to finish. This will become a regular place for us in North Eastern Queens which is starving for a great Italian restaurants with quality dishes at realistic prices. Bravo Fuzi!!! You are certainly firing on all cylinders.
We were in the area looking for somewhere to have dinner when we stumbled upon this gem! Incredibly delicious food & the most amazing service. Highly recommend checking it out, we will definitely be back soon.
This is not a place for atmosphere. It a place for exceptional food. If your in queens search out this Hidden Gem. The Food and the price exceeded my expectation. The service was spot on. The homemade pasta was spot on. If your a foodie like me. You'll love it. If you want ambiance and want to pay to much for that ambience and sub par food then this isn't the place for you. This tiny Gem serves excellent Italian food for a reasonable price. Be sure to make reservations as its got limited seating.
Fuzi Pasta is a hidden gem. Went there tonight for dinner and the food was amazing! From the appetizer to the dessert, you will not be disappointed. Quaint little place in Fresh Meadows, I will definitely be back. Our server was super friendly, made some amazing recommendations. Awesome place!!!
Fuzi is exactly what it sets out to be: Italian comfort food. The place is quite charming. For me, it was a throwback to the quaint places in Little Italy. The food was outstanding. Everything we had was so fresh & delicious. Loved the wine (from small vineyards you won’t find in a wine store) & beer selections (locally sourced). We had a lot of the desserts & they were all great & made there! The biscotti is phenomenal. Fuzi will always be on my “must do” list whenever I am in town.
My husband and I have loved this little gem of a restaurant since it opened. We usually get takeout and pick it up. The food is always delicious and the specials are so creative and always, always fantastic!!
Love it! Every time we come here it doesn't disappoint! Love everything from the focaccia, to the ravioli, lasagna, penne a la vodka, meatballs. Ect. The drinks are delicious and the gelato is exquisite. Neighborhood gem!
i discovered Fuzi six months ago and have been back FIVES times and it never disappoints. This is my new replacement for Piccolo Venezia which closed. the pasta is fresh and the sauces are nuanced and aren’t too salty. Chef Franco is a gentleman and is a wonderful host. This past Sunday, placed a large order and the family was very happy and we appreciated a few free desserts on the house. The grilled veges are amazing - always order two!! I do wish they had a larger non-pasta selection but maybe these can be integrated more into the specials. the chicken Milanese is a delicious non-pasta offering but isn’t filling enough on its own- def add a starter to that.
Aesthetic of the place: 7/10 Price: 10/10 Quality: 10/10 Quantity: 10/10 Waiter: Very attentive, great personality. Loved that he took the time to explain everything as dishes come out. 10/10 Starter 1: No picture. Tomato, mozzarella, and arugula were all very fresh. 9/10 Starter 2:. Basically a charcuterie board picked apart. Very fresh and creative. 8.5/10 Starter 3: You could taste the freshness in the sauce. Garlic bread had the perfect crunch to softness ratio. Meatball very moist. 9/10 Seasonal drink: 9/10 Crazy to say but it taste like fall. The grapes were a nice addition to the drink. Entree 1: Ravioli was a little chewy, but the sauce made up for it. 8.5/10. The almond pasta was delicious. T the perfect consistency & the texture was a perfect al dente. 9.5/10. Entree 2: Veal was very chewy, but the pasta itself was cooked to perfection. 7.5/10. Gnocchi was fresh, very soft unlike most I’ve had before. I loved the little chunks of meat in the sauce under it. 7.5/10 Dessert: Unique, never had fig jam inside of a crepe with ice cream. Wasn’t the best combination. 5/10 The food came out at the perfect rate. The Parmesan was delicious and fresh. I loved that I got to choose what I wanted to get for dessert. I loved that my waiter, Jude, went out of his way to assist a pair of elderly females who needed a little extra help ordering due to a language and vision barrier. I came at 3pm on a Saturday, sat down with my problem. I had not ate anything for the day… I left beyond full. Truly a hidden gem in the heart of queens.
Chef Franco never fails to impress me. 🫶🏼 With every dish made to perfection. Highly recommend the 11375 Mushrooms and Classic Rigatoni with pesto sauce! Don’t forget to add chicken we also got the chance to enjoy the Lemon Shrimp pappardelle. Exquisite dishes as always! Will be back for another date night! FYI: Sunday is BYOB 😉
Delicious pasta, great service, cozy atmosphere! I really enjoy coming here for both dine in and take out. Their pasta is always made fresh, and their dishes are flavored well with good texture. The servers are very nice and accommodating. Their restaurant is nice and cozy. But they can still host larger parties by rearranging the tables. Price is reasonable for the amount and quality of food that you get. Highly recommended!
Delicious Food & Amazing Atmosphere! This place is an absolute treasure! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with such a warm, homey vibe that makes you feel instantly comfortable. The service is top-notch—everyone is so kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about your experience. The food? Incredible. The penne alla vodka is easily one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked pasta, rich and creamy sauce, and bursting with flavor. You have to save room for dessert—the chocolate dessert is out of this world. Rich, decadent, and the perfect sweet ending to a great meal. One of the best parts of dining here is the owner. He personally comes around to check on customers, chats with the tables, and makes sure everyone is having a great time. It’s that kind of personal touch that makes this place so special. If you're looking for amazing food, great service, and a welcoming, cozy atmosphere—this is the spot. Can’t recommend it enough!
My friend took me here for a birthday lunch and they did not disappoint. I ordered a Rigatoni dish with Shrimp, and mushroom appetizer with Ricotta cheese so DELICIOUS. The pasta dishes are well portioned and i did not walk out of there feeling stuffed the way a normal pasta dish would make me feel. Would highly recommend !
I rarely leave reviews, but this place deserves one. I came here on a whim with friends one night, and we’ve been coming back ever since. From the warm, welcoming service to the consistently delicious food, it never disappoints. The cozy, home-like atmosphere makes you feel right at ease, and the owner’s friendliness makes the experience even better. Highly recommend checking it out!
Hidden gem! Food was delicious! Shrimp Alfredo, Caesar salad and 11375 Mushrooms! Highly recommend!
Second time around. Talk about hidden gems that still exist. Just come to this place and you will not be disappointed. Just communicate with Franco (owner) with what you’re in the mood for and he will be more than accommodating to satisfy you. I find it very difficult for somebody not to fall in love with this establishment. Thanks, Franco and staff for another satisfying meal.❤️
First time customers. The service was amazing!! Pasta dishes were incredible - full of flavor and cooked too perfection! Definitely should try out this local gem!
I love this place. It’s quaint, cute and very welcoming. My server Peter was so kind and patient when helping me. I will definitely be coming here again. A hole in the wall of good eats and where you feel at home. Intimate setting with the love of people and food brought together!
100%recommend. Best rigatoni ever tasted!! Ana is a great server!!
Came here on a Thursday mid afternoon & the location was not really a place that you’d look for a place like this. But everything exceeded our expectations. We even had a 2nd guess to go here or not. We were served unlimited bread with sauce. The waiter was so attentive and very polite!! Made the experience even more enjoyable. I recommend this place. Definitely a hidden gem
Very delicious local spot. We ordered the 11375 mushrooms, rigatoni ala vodka, and the spinach and Asiago ravioli. Very very delicious at a reasonable price! Would definitely hit up this spot if you are in the area. Small space but it’s very comfort cozy! Love the interior!
TLDR: Fuzi Pasta is a straight up neighborhood pasta spot. The prices are fair, the staff is super welcoming and the flavors are awesome. Have hope folks, there are still good local eats out there. The 11375 Mushrooms are worth a try. For pastas, the Fuzi (of course) and the Lemon Parpardelle. Tiramisu and the gelato are great. Fuzi was on my list for a bit and reading through their story online convinced me to give it a shot. It's a small neighborhood restaurant tucked away in Fresh meadows. It's very cozy inside. The prices are very fair. Fair is a rarity in this day/age where a normal pasta will run you easily $25 to $30 in the city or the boroughs. Apps. Complimentary focaccia and sauce. I don't remember the last time I even got something like this. It's a great way to start. We opted for the zucchini flower special, the 11375 mushrooms (because I need to know with a name like that) and the garlic focaccia. The zucchini flowers were one of the best versions I've ever had of this. The batter was light but the cheese was stringy without it spilling all over the place like it usually does. The sauce was tasty, a hazelnut crumble for texture and the shredded zucchini noodles were a nice way to brighten up the dish. I'd have eaten all three by myself if I could have. The mushrooms are basically sauteed shrooms next to crostinis with whipped ricotta and burnt honey. Sweet, savory, salty, crunchy - all very good. The focaccia alone was good, throw a ton of garlic on it - it's great. Entrees. Fuzi Oro. You can't not order the dish that the restaurant is named after. An interesting pasta shape, think folded maltagliati or basically a fat parpardelle folded. The sauce is a slow cook of braised beef, lamb and sausage. Similar to a goulash or a beef bourguignon (not as rich and wine heavy) over pasta. Really unique, very tasty. It's your thought of mixing a pot roast with pasta but actually coming to fruition. Lemon Parpardelle. While it is a cream pasta, you have a nice balance of acid from the citrus and some freshness from the basil cream. The shrimp was plump, springy and the pasta was cooked al dente. I don't even like cream pastas typically but this was very tasty. Probably my favorite. Rigatoni Arrabiatta + Meatballs. A simple pasta ordered from the Simple Pasta section. Solid, al dente rigatoni with spicy/zesty tomato sauce. The meatballs were nice and tender, ping pong sized and they come with 6 which is always a plus. Desserts. Honey Panna Cotta. Not too thick - actually one of the less dense ones but in a good way. Fresh berries on top and a quirky touch of PopRox. Awesome. Tiramisu. Great presentation with the chocolate dipped lady fingers and the dessert itself served in a cup. Perfectly creamy, sweet, rich and flavorful without being too heavy. One of the better tiramisus I've had. Homemade gelato. Stracciatella and black cherry. Creamy, sweet, cold, a lovely pizzelle in the middle. Nothing bad to sea. Had a wonderful time chatting with the chef, Franco. The team here was super friendly and I wish these guys lots of luck. It is very hard to find a good neighborhood spot like this. They seem to almost be out of existence but Fuzi made me a believer again. If this has been on your radar for awhile, give it a try. I will absolutely be coming back again.
Great food and service! A local hidden gem, highly recommend!
Just ate here for the first time with my husband. Everything was delicious! The focaccia was crisp on the outside but chewy and moist inside. The honey ricotta and mushrooms was outstanding, so simple but I could see it becoming very addictive lol. My husband got the pasta with vodka sauce and meatballs and everything about it was perfect, moist tender meatballs with this really lovely fragrant vodka sauce. I got the Fuzi Salsa oro and the tender handmade pasta was a delight. The meat was so tender. For dessert we split the honey Panna cotta, the tartness of the berries really balances out the creamy richness of the Panna cotta. For the quality of food and ingredients, such an affordable meal as well. Loved everything we had and can't wait to come back! Definitely recommending to our friends!!!
From the starter to the dessert, everything was so perfect. Specially and unexpectedly, Alfredo is the best among the dishes for me. Tiramisu also strongly recommended. We will visit again.

Delicious food. I had rigatoni with marinara with shrimp. My husband liked his shrimp scampi, different from typical shrimp scampi. Tiramisu is also delicious. Glad we found this restaurant from Google Maps. We will definitely be back!

Tiny in size but Big in Value. Great food with great prices and service. What more could someone want. Always fresh and the specials are awesome. Don’t want to give it a great review since it is a small place and don’t want it to become too well known.

i discovered Fuzi six months ago and have been back FIVES times and it never disappoints.
We happened upon this restaurant, while out for a walk, and decided to give them a try. The atmosphere was cozy and the pictures of people eating pasta on the walls are a fun touch. Our server was personable and we quickly settled in to a welcoming plate of warm focacia and Sunday gravy aka tomato sauce. We ordered a simple lunch of mozzarella cheese.followed by pesto spaghetti and milanese of chicken. The food was yummy, but needed salt. The tomato salad that accompanied the chicken was merely tomato slices which honestly could have been left off. Our server offered us a complimentary bread pudding, which was a nice touch, albeit a tad dense. We will definitely be back. This restaurant has the potential to become a neighborhood gem.
Lovely spot tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Great food and wonderful service..
This is a great little place. Small menu but the taste was superb. All the coworkers there were so busy talking amongst themselves, it was hard to get their attention all thru the evening. They act like they don't care about their guests @ all. That is no way to run a restaurant.
This place had lovely employees and good food - think American Italian comfort food; really tasty, with freshly made pasta. We had a reservation which we arrived for and still had to wait in order to be seated. The server was apologetic and it wasn't a big deal. Some of their menu changes regularly and the pasta is Fresh! It's a small restaurant and that's as much a part of its charm as it is also its weakness. If this restaurant expanded to take over the next door vegetarian restaurant, I think it would be a massive improvement. The space is so limited and loud conversations overpower the restaurant at times. But, on a good night, the food will transport you.
The homemade pasta was delicious and I definitely recommend ordering it to go. The wine and beer was good as well. We started with zucchini flowers and a Caesar salad. The sauce was delicious but the stuffed flowers were too cold, like just pulled from the fridge. Our main course pastas were all Al dente and tasty…would consider coming back for more. Serving sizes were comparable to the price. Servers could have been more personable and welcoming, I’ve seen friendlier service at a fast food restaurant. We would have stayed for dessert but the party of 8 next to us were quite loud and it ruined the end of our evening.
For starters had the meatballs, which were amazing. Then I had the hand rolled Fuzi pasta, it was incredible. The pasta was cooked to perfection & so tender. I think I would’ve preferred a bolognese on top of the pasta instead of the veal. Maybe I will request that next time.

I ordered from Fuzi Pasta, I believe, on Tuesday night. The female employee recommended the pasta with alla vodka and chicken and rosemary foccocia bread. I'm sad to say that I was a little disappointed. The bread was delicious, but my entree was underwhelming. Upon opening my container, the chicken seemed like an afterthought. It looked like boiled chicken just thrown on top of my pasta. I was under the impression that the chicken would have been incorporated into the vodka sauce. Additionally, there wasn't much sauce on the pasta itself. It didn't taste bad, but it was definitely lackluster.
Ordered take out on the phone and was told to pick up in 15 min. The order was not even prepared by the time i arrived . The garlic bread was packed in a bag waiting , so was not fresh by the time we got home (the right thing to do wouldve been to give us a fresh order) We had to wait another 30 minutes for our order. And to top it all off, one of the meals was incorrect . We decided to patronize a local restaurant hoping to find a new spot. Unfortunately we wont be returning .
I've had difficulty finding good pasta in the area and was hoping this would be my ticket, but ultimately it was not. Let me start by saying I ordered takeout and the meal smelled incredible. Which made it all the more disappointing when it didn't taste incredible. -Little gem caesar salad: I know it's a little gem salad but I felt like it could have come a bit more mixed as a takeout option. The croutons are just four large croutons, which as a takeout option doesn't really seem to make sense. And as someone who eats a far amount of caesar salad, this was one of the thinnest caesar dressings I've had and definitely prefer it to have a bit more substance. - Ricotta cavatelli: This leaked everywhere out of the packaging so I'm not sure if it would have been more flavorful with actual sauce but by the time we ate it, it was pretty dry. The cavatelli was nothing special but without sauce, the broccoli rabe was just so bitter. I also can't imagine this dish without the optional $4.99 sausage, which should just be included not as an upcharge. - Chicken vodka sauce rigatoni: This was fine. The sauce didn't really blow me away. The pieces of chicken were a bit bigger than I would expect for a pasta dish like this. and the pasta itself was nothing notable.
The atmosphere and the person helping me was wonderful, but I had ordered a Alfredo pasta and it was INCREDIBLY Salty. I usually don’t write reviews, so this says a lot in itself. Wasn’t even able to take more than 2 bites.
I was in the mood for pasta and was in the fresh meadows area and found this place - what a disappointment- chicken Milanese was panko breaded and barely fried no arugula and tomatoes- see picture - tasted bland - the focaccia was super think I should know better that to order when I walk in 😔 over priced not real Italian food.
Ummm. This is definitely not authentic Italian. The place is very dirty, I didn’t see a health inspection rating in the front. Pasta / sauce was OK. Not terrible. Needed more flavor/salt. Meatballs were cold. Just not real Italian food. Idk what they are trying to do.
worst food I’ve ever had. pasta is incredibly bland and watery. tastes like chef boyardee. I’ve had better food at a middle school cafeteria. and the tea is just made with powder and super watery. waste of money.
I just ordered delivery from this place. 1st of all, portions are not as advertised. 2nd, wrong items were sent. I ordered pasta platters in addition to the items selected. One order was incorrect. Everything is extremely salty. Not tasty at all. 1st and last time.
Got a reservation a week before to have to wait 30 min extra to have lukewarm pre fixed meal that was super rushed and just ok. Portions of said meal were toddler sized and not appetizing. I got fed up and wanted to leave after the appetizers and manager was complaining that it wasn't fair and that all my food should have been sent back to be reheated (three separate plates) and the price for the quantity of food was not worth it. Save yourself some money and frustration by going somewhere else.
So my husband and I just visited this place. And let me tell you there fettuccine taste nasty. I couldn’t bring myself to eat it and when we informed the server she was like. Is it the sauce? Like really and that’s it. She did not offer to take it off the bill, gave us a discount or anything. Clearly we were dissatisfied customers.. anyways we will not be returning.. this place sucks for Italian food..
So it was my first time coming here since last year. And let me tell you the quality and portions sizes have dropped harder then the nuke on Hiroshima and Nagaski. The portions are an absoulte joke, i can count on one hand the number of pasta strands i was given. And the chicken i Ordered must have been like 4oz , and was dryer than an overcooked thanksgiving turkey. After paying my bill I felt like i had literally been robbed and violated , over $50 (person ) for a meal thats not even enough for a small child to be full. The prices of hot dogs in time square feel more justified then the portion we got. Let me tell you also, the quality was at best being medicore if Im nice. I ended up going home and cooking dinner cause I was so hungry still. If your even slightly hungry Do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else that will sayisfy your hunger. Its criminal for the prices to have rose as much as they did and they quality and quantity to drop this much.
