Such good food. Tried trout for the first time and was not let down. Steak fantastic, empanadas fantastic. Bartender clearly experienced. Staff helpful and friendly. 10/10 will be coming back asap. Atmosphere great. Try something new you will not be disappointed.

Perfect place to open a Latin restaurant in this small beach town. The name of the restaurant says it all…sabor sabor sabor y tanto sabor que tiene esa comida. Amazing! Services was attentive, friendly, and accommodating to changing a few items on the menu. Decor is beautifully done. There’s a full bar. Plenty of seating. A function room for hosting an event. And VERY adorable. No jacked up prices at this great spot. We will be returning!

La Esquina del Sabor, which translates to The Corner of Flavor, is a fantastic new addition to Winthrop's dining scene. The restaurant has an inspiring backstory—the owner relocated here after a car accident destroyed their previous location. We started with the shrimp ceviche, which featured large, succulent shrimp, crisp red onions, and creamy avocado. The dish was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. Next, we tried the arepa trio, which offers a rotating selection of toppings. This time, it included pork belly, chorizo and carnitas, and chicken. Each arepa was delicious in its own right and perfect for a quick yet satisfying bite. For drinks, we enjoyed the Jardine, a mixed cocktail that was both refreshing and delightful—a definite recommendation! The decor is modern and stylish, creating a welcoming ambiance, and the staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back. La Esquina del Sabor is a must-try for anyone seeking authentic Colombian flavors and a warm dining experience.

Good vibes and great sensation when you step into this magnificent world of Colombian delicacies! We came here to try the Migao, which is chocolate with cheese, ducales and some other additions making it very delicious to those who knows what a real vespertina get together. We also try the chicharrones con arepa and spent a great time. Suitable for family and friends, good location, good music and tremendous service. Very recommended!

La Esquina del Sabor has been my and my cousin's go-to spot for years. Even after joining the Army, I always made sure to stop by whenever I was home on leave. The food is always amazing; the picada for two and fried cheese are our favorites. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.The service is outstanding, especially Angie and Angelina, who are always kind, attentive, and make you feel right at home. This place is amazing. Highly recommend.

Each bite was a small celebration—rich, comforting, impossible to rush. Just when I thought it couldn’t get better, I found the avocado and banana waiting for me in my take out bag. A simple surprise, yet it made me smile, the kind that reminds you food can feel like care.

SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS! this place is freaking amazing. authentic food and huge portions, and they’re great with accommodating for changes to the plate if you’re veg etc. the staff were unbelievably friendly and they asked us if they could take photos for their social media, you can tell everyone is super happy that you’re there. they gave us a complimentary sponge cake (delicious!) if you’re in the area, please give it a go

Not a bad place but I felt ripped due to those unnecessary overcharges.

Walked into restaurant to place a take out order with my 9 and 5 year old. Asked for menu.. Instead of standing in middle of the restaurant I went to grab a seat at bar to sit my 5 year old onto, while I looked at menu just for a few minutes. Bar was empty. Out of 6 seats only one was occupied. I grabbed only 1 stool just for daughter. Was told by bar-tender, who spoke no English that was against the law. I was going to try and tell him just for a few moments and that I had done on quite a few occasions at many USA establishments, but I saw he spoke no English. So would have been pointless. Would have walked right out but had promised wife I would try the place. While standing I asked the waitress a quick question about menu, but she told me to wait while she went by me while not carrying one item in her hands. Will never go back. Ever. Felt went out of way to be rude. Upset I was foolish enough to give them my business when they obviously didn’t want it. The other waitress who took my to go order, not the exceptionally rude one, was polite and did her job well.
