Still dreaming about the fajitas and margaritas from last night. Ambience was very fun, lots of people, but we were still sat right away with no reservation. Everyone was so friendly, and our server Melissa was fabulous! Can’t wait to visit again.

The food, service, and margaritas were top-notch. The service staff continuously checked-in on us throughout our meal, which was wonderful. Loved it!!

Bruno was our waiter this evening(my bday), He was such an amazing person. Personable, Professional and Attentive. The other waiters also made certain that our requests were fulfilled and suggested great appetizers.(plantain chips with an amazing dipping sauce). The atmosphere was quaint and beautiful. Not too brightly lit or too loud. We will be back.

I’ve been back in town two hours and we are already here… We could not wait to eat here again. This is my favorite restaurant in Astoria. The food is absolutely amazing. The Cochinita Pibil has such depth and nuance, I literally cannot get enough of it. And the best salsa in NYC! Our server Mike is the BEST, thank you again Mike and everyone at Las Margaritas!

Wow I've been wanting to come to this place for years while living in Astoria! Fajitas date night with my bae. I wanted to hear the sizzle. Was craving fajitas after seeing them on a show. We had good seats by the window. More people started coming in after us. Came here on a cold Friday night. The waiter was very friendly and attentive! Great customer service. I will try the drinks here next time. What a fun, enjoyable, tasty and memorable experience. I can't wait to come back here.

Popped in on a cold night and found perfect chicken nachos and happy hour margaritas (and beers until 7.) Happy hour seems to have its following. Excellent service, great music playing, and the order of nachos as a meal were filling and delicious. The music made me want to dance. The house made hot sauce was an equally lovely touch. A much better dining experience than I have had lately. It was welcoming to one and all: from a hungry solo (me), to people on cozy romantic dates, and even a festive gathering of 3 bros at the bar. It felt refreshingly authentic. Thank you to Sandra who delivered attentive service with a warm smile.

We recently celebrated a special occasion with a group of 10 people, and it couldn't have been more perfect! Absolutely phenomenal dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with elegant decor that made for a perfect evening setting. Server Jenna was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and offering fantastic recommendations. The food—wow! Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh flavours and beautifully plated. We started with the special Crispy Shrimp, Nachos and Cheese Quesadillas which were perfectly seasoned and just melted in our mouths. For the main course, we had the Rib Eye Steak, Chicken Fajitas, Salmon, and Plantain Chips, and everything was truly unforgettable—rich, tender, and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we tried their special Sizzling Brownie [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR CHOCOLATE LOVERS] and it was the perfect finish to an already outstanding meal. Kudos to new owners Mike and Rishu as they are doing a fantastic job. Overall, everything from the service to the ambiance to the food was just top-notch. Worth every penny and then some! We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this gem to everyone we know. A true five-star experience!

My family and I had such a great experience at La margarita. I made reservations for a birthday celebration for party of eight. When we arrived the table was set in the back all to ourselves. Our waitress was kind knowledgeable of the foods and attentive throughout our visit. I love that the food came out sizzling hot and it was delicious. My party of 8 enjoyed their meals and agreed that the food & service was excellent I would recommend la margarita anytime.

Delicious food! Have come a few times and the food is consistently filling and good. We like the guac and chips of course, and have tried their tacos, burritos, and chimichangas - all delicious! Service is good but a little on the slow side. Drinks and food take a bit longer to come out but it’s worth the wait. Each time we’ve come there was a DJ the whole time so it’s pretty loud. We could barely hear our conversation and we sat farthest from the DJ. A good place to get good food and have a good time.

We stopped for pre dinner bite. The server was pleasant and took care of us. The food was cool but the guacamole had too much lime for me but not a deal breaker. The soup simple but right on time and satisfied my taste buds!

The place itself is spacious and comfortable. I visited during the spring season, and they had a large set of doors open, which allowed a lovely breeze to enter. Unfortunately, their food lacks flavor; their chicken seems pre-grilled. If you are looking for authentic tacos, be mindful that theirs have no cilantro or lettuce or salsa. Their drinks were okay, but I wish they offered more flavor options, like tamarindo or jamaica.

I’m an Astoria local and I’ve walked past this place many times, but never went in until just now. It was a nice day for it bring the end of October and I wanted outdoor seating. Service was excellent. I had a great server, she was tipped well. The food was terrible. I ordered the fish tacos. Completely flavorless, the green salsa couldn’t even rescue these tacos. Looked like thawed fish sticks that weren’t even fully fried crispy. Rice and beans were okay and the chips were okay but the salad was watery. Margaritas were way too sweet. I tried the traditional after the coconut and that was just as sweet. Though the presentation for the coconut flavor is nice, they add a good amount shaved coconut which I enjoyed. The traditional frozen margarita is neon green and the taste very artificial like they made it using premade mixers. Won’t be coming back, there are way too many great Mexican restaurants in the area. This type of food is what you’d expect of Mexican food randomly located in a suburb, but not here in Astoria.

I came in on Monday 2/19 with a friend. She had a chicken burrito and I had a chimichanga. A good amount of food so we did not finish and took left overs home. Today I went to finish the second half of the chicken burrito my friend got so that it wouldn’t go to waste, and halfway through I found a GLOVE inside. A KITCHEN GLOVE! I am absolutely disgusted and almost wish she had chose to bite into this half of the burrito instead so that this discovery could’ve happened on site. Will not be going back. The service was already mediocre. Only good thing about this place is the drink specials.
