I order for pickup and they greeted me with very good vibe. I got an chipotle chicken which was 10/10 with the lettuce and tomato on top made it very delicious. They ask if I needed anything extra to make sure I was all set which was great customer service. The food was amazing and the difference drinks options is nice but would like more drinks. Overall for being a new place that just set is pretty good and will definitely come back to chiddys to enjoy other stuff from the menu. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to try new cheesesteaks and enjoying it. The price is a little high but once you eat the food is pretty worth it. Will be coming back to chiddys!!.

I ordered the Chiddy’s signature and some empanadas which came out to be exceptionally delicious. I would order from here again, even thought they are a new place in Astoria they are a very nice place to eat and order. For the price you get its money worth. Chiddy’s cheesesteak is fairly new to the area so I checked the place out and the vibe is pretty good, they greed you with a positive attitude. The chicks on ranch(cheesesteak) was very good with the tomato topping also the fried were topped to the max which I very much enjoyed. This place for being new is 9/10 I would recommend anyone to come and try it. Will surely come back to get more. The prince is not to high, for the price you get it’s worth guaranteed. A great addition to the neighborhood. This place is something fresh, not only in cuisine but also in the atmosphere. There's a character to it that makes you feel comfortable and welcome. Chiddy's Signature is delicious, and the portion generous. Equally so for the sweet potato fries. The chili is fragrant and tasty, and we were pleasantly surprised at the staff making it known that you can customize and make it hotter with some jalapenos. Definitely coming back to try more

I came here after seeing an advertisement on FB and found they had a location near me so I wanted to try out there Philly Cheese Steak with Whiz as is how it's made in Philadelphia PA. I was very pleased with the Philly Cheese. The bread was not the exact Philly hoagie bread but good enough to pass. I will come back soon.

Chiddy’s is surprisingly good. I have family from Pennsylvania and grew up eating cheesesteaks. NYC is amazing in most foods, but fairly weak regarding this one food. Chiddy’s hit the spot. I will definitely be making this my go-to for cheesesteaks. Federoff’s is good, but it’s quite expensive. Rocco’s is also pretty good, but I’ve had some dry steaks from there and so they never became a favorite of mine. Stuff’d in Astoria is similarly dry and on the pricier end- though it’s admittedly tasty. Chiddy’s on the other hand is not unreasonably expensive and I like how I was able to build a custom cheesesteak and create something akin to a Lehigh Valley style cheesesteak. I was even able to ask for marinara sauce on it in the online order comments which they honored. Thanks, Chiddy’s! After ordering twice, my only real complaint would be the fries this time around definitely weren’t great and had a taste of old oil.

Their Chili Cheese dog is amazing! Very delicious. But if you are thinking about getting the homemade Mac and Cheese, DONT do it. It's very bland and it has an aftertaste. We all agree that the aftertaste taste something like soap and it's bitter. We all tossed out the Mac and Cheese.

I have happily ordered from chiddys since they opened on day one. Foods good it you eat it in the store. But my problem is the put the sandwich in a plastic food container. No tin foil wrap. So when you get home the sandwich is basically flat and all over the place. Cheesteaks are supposed to be served in a wrapped tin foil. There's a certain magic that happens inside the tin foil. Cheese melds , bread softens and the sandwich holds it shape. While keeping the sandwich warm. Nobody wants a cold hardened cheesesteak. I hope chiddys can understand how they are missing this most important part of the process. I resorted to bringing the sandwich home and wrapping it up myself for work the next day. Last time I ordered a cheesesteak, I brought it home and ate it about an hour later the whole sandwich was a dried up mess with ingredients everywhere and cheese hardened. I haven't returned. Can chiddys fix this problem ?

3.5 stars. Chiddy’s Cheesesteaks started out as a food truck a decade ago and now has many locations throughout New York. I’ve only ever tried them in Citi Field, but they recently opened a new location in Astoria. I ordered the below: Beef and Cheddar Empanada, Cheesesteak Empanada and Banana Nutella Empanada (3 for $5). The dough was crispy, light and was perfectly fried. Not at all greasy. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed these. My favorite was the Cheesesteak Empanada which was sooo good! Followed closely by the Banana Nutella Empanada. The bananas were slightly too ripe, in my opinion, but the fried Nutella made up for it. It was very messy to eat but so delicious. Junior Chiddy’s Signature with just onions and cheddar ($12). It was a bit pricey for the Junior, which was 7 inches long, but it was also very filling. It had thinly sliced steak mixed with sauteed onions and a couple of slices of melted cheddar. The roll was soft and chewy and held up while eating. The meat with the cheddar was slightly too salty for me. I should probably have gotten the cheese wiz instead. Small order of Sweet Potato Fries ($7). Delicious and not too greasy. I usually like to dip sweet potato fries into ranch dressing, so I was really wishing it came with some dipping sauce. Alas, it did not. With a purchase of cheesesteak and any side, you get a free drink, and I got a can of sprite. Overall, I was very satisfied with the meal. I wasn’t wowed by the sandwich but really loved the empanadas. Will be back to try some other items on their menu. Tip: Ear Reward Dollars when you sign up for their Rewards program by giving your phone number

I got a Mac cheesesteak. It wasn’t bad but some bites were dry. Little more cheese sauce on the roll would’ve done the trick. The meat quality is fine. It just needed some additional salt pepper. Price wise it is expensive. I also paid for onions and mushrooms which I never got so it was disappointing.

Could have been 5 stars if they sent me what I ordered. The food is delicious but I ordered Irish fries and for fries and got chilly fries instead. Mistakes happen and I was looking for a number to contact them; there is none. I won’t order again because If I were to report my 1st and 2nd order is the wrong item then Uber would flag me. They also don’t have a phone number to contact them anywhere, which is not good for a business.

3.5 stars. Chiddy’s Cheesesteaks started out as a food truck a decade ago and now has many locations throughout New York. I’ve only ever tried them in Citi Field, but they recently opened a new location in Astoria. I ordered the below: Beef and Cheddar Empanada, Cheesesteak Empanada and Banana Nutella Empanada (3 for $5). The dough was crispy, light and was perfectly fried. Not at all greasy. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed these. My favorite was the Cheesesteak Empanada which was sooo good! Followed closely by the Banana Nutella Empanada. The bananas were slightly too ripe, in my opinion, but the fried Nutella made up for it. It was very messy to eat but so delicious. Junior Chiddy’s Signature with just onions and cheddar ($12). It was a bit pricey for the Junior, which was 7 inches long, but it was also very filling. It had thinly sliced steak mixed with sauteed onions and a couple of slices of melted cheddar. The roll was soft and chewy and held up while eating. The meat with the cheddar was slightly too salty for me. I should probably have gotten the cheese wiz instead. Small order of Sweet Potato Fries ($7). Delicious and not too greasy. I usually like to dip sweet potato fries into ranch dressing, so I was really wishing it came with some dipping sauce. Alas, it did not. With a purchase of cheesesteak and any side, you get a free drink, and I got a can of sprite. Overall, I was very satisfied with the meal. I wasn’t wowed by the sandwich but really loved the empanadas. Will be back to try some other items on their menu. Tip: Ear Reward Dollars when you sign up for their Rewards program by giving your phone number

I got a Mac cheesesteak. It wasn’t bad but some bites were dry. Little more cheese sauce on the roll would’ve done the trick. The meat quality is fine. It just needed some additional salt pepper. Price wise it is expensive. I also paid for onions and mushrooms which I never got so it was disappointing.

Who the hell uses the fake cheese in Philly cheesesteak? I bought this in citi field for $20 + never again. What happened to using provolone, mozzarella or any other actual cheese. HORRIBLE DIABETES SANDWICH.

Crazy idea: close at 9pm on weeknights and actually stay open until 2-3AM on the weekends for people that want drunk food...it's st pattys weekend and you guys are closed at midnight. Missing out on so much money for your (overpriced) cheesesteaks.

Chiddy is quite possibly the worst restaurant in this dump of a ghost kitchen. I gave them 3 chances now and each time they mess up in different ways. First time the food was inedible. Bread was hard and stale and the steak was dry and crumbly. Second time they took so long to prepare the food that it cause the Uber driver to give up on the order. Third time they just straight up cancelled an order on me right at the pick up time. I guess it’s fate telling me to not eat at this poor excuse of a food establishment.

Went and manager was on the phone had to get their attention. Cheesesteaks were disgusting and overly salted. That's how you cover up expiring food in the industry. Add salt Please avoid

It should be called Shitty and not Chiddy’s. was disappointed with my experience at Chiddy’s. Unfortunately, the sandwiches didn’t taste fresh, and I was concerned about their quality. I hope the restaurant takes a closer look at their ingredients and food preparation to ensure a better experience for customers.

I spent almost $70 to get this delivered, had ordered plenty of food and was excited to tuck in. Door knocks, and I get my sandwich and a single bottle of room temperature water. I can’t get in touch with them after I ordered to make this right, this is abhorrent.

Decided to give it a second chance but again a horrible cheesesteaks barely any cheese and basically ONE bacon slice! They also tend to forget the sides which is annoying, specially when giving them a second chance. Overall, better to go to a food stand. They’ll get your order right!

Ordered on UberEats. The steak and cheese had extremely hard bits of meat in it that we couldn’t even bite through. The crispy chicken honestly just didn’t taste good. Very unimpressed by these sandwiches and did not have a good experience .
