We enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch before boarding our plane. Try the Brussels sprouts. They are amazing!! (as is their burger) This has become our favorite stop at the airport. Cathy, our waitress, is terrific. She is always attentive, professional, helpful, and very funny. We look forward to seeing her. She is a gem!

The bartender, Kristen, served us with a smile. Our drinks were very good, and the turkey club sandwich, with fries, was delicious.

First, forget all the 1 star ratings you see. You can't please everyone, and NOBODY takes COVID into consideration! My wife & I dined there yesterday. We see how busy the staff was! 2 wait staff were managing the whole bar AND taking all the table orders! Our person was Kristen, and she was FABULOUS! Food was better of all the airport food we have had. Remember, they don't pay 5 star chef's salaries at the airport. Cheddar burger and fries were hot & tasty. I would recommend Silks at Albany anytime you go. It will be on our stop list for every flight. Thank you Kristen! You were the BEST! Since Google won't allow you to review a place twice, we had to add our last visit to Silks. Kathy was our server LAST visit, and she was the BEST! This time, Kathy said we had Theresa. NOW we have THREE favorites! She said just remember Mother Theresa...... mistake with me. I said "Mother, can I have another drink?" Theresa was absolutely fantastic! If you fly in or out of Albany, stop there for a drink, a bite and a most wonderful experience! This trip I recommend the patty melt! LM

My flight was delayed so I had my meal at the Albany airport at Silks. Deanna was my waitress and she was kind and efficient and made me feel like I could sit there all day if I so desired. I ordered the classic breakfast with scrambled eggs, tater tots, toast and bacon. It was so good and a ton of food. It cost $12.99 which seemed reasonable given the quantity and the location… think how much a bottle of water costs or a bag of M&Ms at the airport and this was a frickin’ bargain.

Real-deal food; real-deal service. Saratoga Salad—-a huge plateful, made fresh (asked if they could hold the blu cheese…”of course.” Waffle fries and cheeseburger were just right. Theresa was attentive and refilled my iced tea before I had to ask. One other waitress…both were hustling to take care of folks. Glad we chose Silks Saratoga during our airport wait!

I finally though to go to Silks Saratoga Bistro, a sit down restaurant, and boy, they sure brighten my morning. First of all the waitress was so friendly, polite, and helpful, it was a delight to be there. I ended up ordering the BLT omelete and it was so delicious!! Since I didn't want any toast they offered grilled tomatoes instead. It turned out to be one of the most satisfying omletes I've had in a while. The plate was so nicely put together and the service was excellent. It maybe my goto option for airport meals in the future. I might have paid more overall for my breakfast, but all the ingredients were fresh and the experience was 100%. It was well worth it.

Pleasantly surprised with the chicken tenders and fries, which were both crispy and piping hot. I had a great upbeat waitress that knew what was up regarding business travelers and she got me quick and attentive service even when they started getting busy.

Miss leading item descriptions. Ordered the Ruben described as having "piled high pastrami." What I got was a sandwich with a single layer of a few strips on each half. But, the flavor was good and the waffle fries were on point.

Airport bar. Good for Albany Airport

Respectfully, I ordered 2 drinks which = to 38.27 which included tip. I was here around 530 PM on a weekday. I also got tap water. I didn't eat here but the drinks were OK. It's your average house ingredients. I waited 15 minutes. There's 1 person at the bar. They appear understaffed. The waitstaff was White presenting and female. I would maybe patronize this place again, however I do want to add that I needed to ask for the check with my drinks and for the water a few times. The staff addressed that they need more time. It's your call. However, I do appreciate the waitperson addressing my need.

If you want to see planes leave and land on the runway this is definitely the place to watch. Although the views are surreal, I thought the food was a bit over-priced for sandwiches served on paper plates. Service is personable, a bit slow if you are in a rush to catch a flight. I ate a turkey club stacked on sourdough bread with layers of sliced turkey, provolone cheese, bacon, mayo, pickles, lettuce and tomato. The waffle fries were a treat but lacked seasoning simple as salt. An extensive wine by the glass list combined with local craft beers makes this bar the place to meet and greet travelers. I recommend the bloody Mary because it is served with celery, lime, olives and a cherry tomato and with a heavy pour for $20.

I sat here for a quick sandwich prior to my flight. And watched at least 10 potential patrons walk away prior to sitting. Upon entry, it’s unclear if you should just sit at an empty table or wait for a hostess. I had to fly down the bartender to ask him. Of the folks I watched come in, staff simply ignored each and every potential patron. So more of a message to management - you’d do twice the business if your bartender or wait staff was just a bit more focused on welcoming new guests. Love the menu and creativity. Turkey club was delish.

Food is very meh, but staff is super nice. This is located in Gate A area. Seat yourself. Burges (2 choices), sandwiches, a salad, and breakfast. Salad was not avail as they had no romaine left. Terrible opts for GF people (burger w/o bun was it!) Burgers are only marginally better than Burger King next door (not kidding), and fries are the same as BK. Everything on menu is basically $20+. So, you might be better off at BK. This airport lacks eateries. There 2 others (1 in gate B, and another in gate C), but they have very limited choices.. like bar food snacks stuff.

Severely understaffed. I was asked for my drink order, and the waitress left asking me to bear with her as she was the onlyone there.. She brought back the drink, seemed very concerned with everyone's drinks. Another lady came on the floor. My waitress never came back. Twenty minutes later I had to practically beg to put in a food order. I was told by the 2nd woman only the first woman could put in my order. Had to wait for her to happen by and then beg her to put in a food order. Two parties who came in after me were served the food before me. Twenty minutes later, and I have finally been served lukewarm chewy toast, lukewarm omelet with unmelted.cheese,l, chewy bacon and not even warm tots. I have less than 20 minutes to eat. When I came in, I would have had over an hour.

But after this meal I would not recommend this place. Consumers shouldn't have to put up with this quality of food at an overtly inflated price point.

Waitress on her phone sitting at table watched us come in and didn’t greet us. Table we picked was dirty so we moved. She watched us go from dirty table to clean table and never got up. Table was not cleaned along with others while we were there. She greeted us with “what can I get you” and never offered drinks first. Forgot my mom’s coffee. She did not check on us the entire meal. She clearly did not want to be there. First time I ever left less than 20% tip.

Technically, I can’t rate the food because we didn’t stay to eat it. My wife and I walked up and were told they were full, even though there was an open table right in front of us. I asked if we could have that table. She said, “I guess,” and walked away. The waitress took our order, and when she brought the food, she dropped salad dressing on my wife’s coat. She didn’t even say sorry. She just said, “Oh, it will be fine,” and walked away. She continued serving other tables and didn’t bother to bring anything so my wife could clean her coat. I ended up going to a store to get some water and a Tide stick. When I returned, I saw they had brought some cups of water, but the waitress had spilled the water on the table and the chair I was sitting in. Once again, my wife said the waitress didn’t even apologize. It’s sad. The best service we received in the airport today was from the TSA agents who are working without a paycheck.

(Would have rated this zero stars, but unfortunately one star is lowest you can give) You’d think a restaurant in an airport might be aware that their customers might have limited time to eat, right? Walked in and sat down, and the only employees I saw were two waitresses just standing there chatting behind the counter. I know at least one or both of them looked over at me, but after a couple minutes and no indication that either one of them was going to come over to my table to take my order I just gave up and walked out. (doubt they were “too busy” to help me, only one other table in the place had (2)people sitting at it)

Horrible experience dinning here. The bartender was rude and the food was not good. I ended up boarding my flight starving because my meal was basically inedible. Waste of money and time.

Stayed in line for orders to go more than 10 minutes. No acknowledge from the staff. Asked if orders to go where taken. I was told that first the people at the bar needed to be serve. I got a disgusting soggy salad for $20 with aweful service, so I didn't leave a tip. I was tracked down in the airport before boarding and verbally attacked. If I did something like that I would lose my Job but I guess I shouldn't expect any better from Albany NY.

The waitress commented that she didn’t like the saying on my shirt (after she misinterpreted it) and walked through the restaurant expressing her opinion to other customers. She forgot my second order because it took forever to be brought out and it was soggy when i did get it. I said my flight was boarding and I need to pay. She went to get a box for the food she just brought and stopped and had a conversation with another employee both on the floor and then another in the kitchen. When she brought the box I said again, I need to pay because she still didn’t return with the check. I barely made the flight. The bruschetta was already soggy and it was apparent that it was sitting for several minutes by how much had soaked into the bread. Never got to eat that but the steak tacos were amazing.

Ordered an old fashion and was served. Received bill and he charged for double shots. Menu doesn’t state all drinks ate double shots. 25 dollars a drink. Server 347951 Somboon is the man who is doing this in the airport. Nice racket
