Upon my first bite, I knew I was going to write a review. It was BANGIN. the crew was friendly and patient with me as I checked out all the options on the bar. They let me try the chip varieties - the spicy is taaaastey. And my bowl - omg you guys I enjoyed EVERY bite. The food tasted like it was made with love and it was soo fresh. The choc chip cookies were freshly made, and a little sweet for my taste, but still tastey and gooey. I'm being so serious with you - this bowl made my day. I randomly chose this spot, and will willfully choose it next time I'm around. Check them out for sure!
I got tacos for lunch at Hot Peppers yesterday, I’m just going to keep my review straightforward: the food was absolutely just fresh and delicious. The chicken and the honey chipotle chicken were both so extremely tasty and vibrant, just radiating depth of flavor and crisp freshness. The variety of ingredients they have that can be added to your meal is wonderful, from an array of meats and a couple vegetarian options (and shrimp!), tons of condiments, sauces, anybody can get a meal here that they can enjoy. If you enjoy other large build your own bowl chains for texmex, visit Hot Peppers BK! Just straight up delicious food. Three stars on atmosphere because the restaurant was a little barren and could be made a little more appealing or pretty. It did appear to be clean, which is what matters. The employee behind the counter was very kind! Photo was after a 45 minute drive, tacos held up wonderfully.
I really like the bowls here, especially the shrimp and the chicken. The guacamole really has a nice flavor to it. Eat it wrapped like a burrito or scoop it with chips, lots of delicious way to eat it.
I ordered a little bowl with shrimp, honey chipotle chicken, and pretty much every topping except two I can’t remember the names of—but I’m sure those would’ve been just as good as the rest. The best part is definitely the lunch rush special: you don’t get charged for any extra toppings, and my whole meal came out to around $15. Shrimp was a dollar extra, but completely worth it. For comparison, a similar bowl at Guactime or Chipotle would’ve easily cost me $18–$20. The value here is unmatched. On top of that, the guy making my food was super enthusiastic, which honestly made the experience even better. If you’re in the area and want something filling, flavorful, and fairly priced, Hot Peppers is the move.
I LOVE this place - newly opened in Brooklyn! I’ve tried the other locations as well and they always hit the spot. The food is always fresh, clean and quickly made when ordered. I stopped by the Brooklyn location when I was in the area and was not disappointed. They were also kind to give free tacos on their grand opening day! So glad to see they’re expanding across NYC. Way more affordable and tastier than Chipotle or Qdoba! Always happy to support small business owners!
I eat here LITREALLT every single day 😭😭😭😭 it’s so good the workers are super nice it’s the same quality everytime, if you want something simple and consistent buy.

It’s a little hidden because of the construction but it’s worth looking a little extra to find it. Their portion size is good, I was only able to eat half bc I got so full. No extra charge for Guac or queso and they have so many different sauce combinations. The server was so friendly and students get an additional 10% on top of the lunch special.

Such a good experience! The staff was super friendly and the food was 🔥. I loved the queso with chips — so creamy and delicious. Also tried the cookies and the veggie bowl, and both were top-tier. The bowl was fresh and filling, and the cookie was the perfect sweet treat after. Definitely coming back!
Awesome food! I just picked up a balanced macro bowl it was tasty, kind of like a healthier version of Halal Guys. Felt great after eating it, you can tell it’s quality by the way you feel after. I mixed in the hot sauce and sour cream they gave me, and for the price, it’s a steal. I’m officially a fan

My all time favorite Mexican food!!❤️ I’m so in love with their bowls especially the surf and turf and the honey chipotle chicken. Everything is super fresh and flavorful. They are very generous with their portions and with their sauces. My favorite are the lemon herb and creamy avocado. I always get the guac and chips because they add a little crunch with my bowl and are always fresh! Staff is also very respectful!
Just tried Hot Peppers in Brooklyn and I’m thoroughly impressed! The burrito bowl was flavorful with fresh ingredients, and I loved that guac and queso were included at no extra charge. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. Definitely a great alternative to the usual spots.
Ordered takeout from here- I will say that I did not order correctly and the bowl had too many ingredients in it, which some people like but I like to keep things simple sometimes. I did like the variety of sauces and toppings and customizable options.

Ordered a STEAK BURRITO for the 2nd time & received HONEY CHICKEN.. I tried calling got no response. SMH A courtesy call would’ve been nice to inform me that you ran out of steak, So I have a chance to cancel my order. Never again!

It is half the size there’s no number to call them. They didn’t make my portions right at all. The queens location makes double size and because they’re giving you, but I won’t get one free. They cut it in half and then didn’t even put my stuff in there yet I was charged so much for the stuff.
