Went for the 1st-time on a Saturday and can't wait to return! Wait-staff was friendly, food & drinks were reasonably priced, and the location - and the views! - can't be beat. Took great pictures with the waterfront and Brooklyn Bridge in the background. Also love that it's locally owned (have had enough of corporate / cookie-cutter restaurants). Definitely recommend...
Best place ever we are from California and they showed a tremendous amount of love Dayane helped us out !!!
Came across this place after getting some sun. I ordered the fried shrimp and fries. Not only was the shrimp and fries excellent, I loved their slightly tangy and spicy tartar sauce. After ordering, they bring your food to you. I will definitely go back.
The blue frozen margarita and Fish lips drink were excellent. The food also was excellent. Good seasoning and tasty. Music in the background was also good. Shout out to John John, Yasmin and Dayane.
Great drink, service and you can’t beat the location. It’s the perfect place for a night out with a date, some friends or even a party. The parties they have here are so much fun! When I brought my wife there we sat next to Nick Jonas! How crazy is that!? Highly recommend!!
Great fun location with a beautiful serene view of the the Hudson. perfect for outdoor party scenes! Enjoyed the cocktails.
I recently had the pleasure of being served by Creg at cobble fish, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Creg displayed an impressive blend of professionalism and warmth that truly elevated my visit. Creg possessed an in-depth knowledge of the menu and was more than happy to offer insightful recommendations that perfectly suited my tastes. His attentive service and genuine enthusiasm made every aspect of the meal enjoyable. I was particularly impressed with his skill in crafting a bespoke cocktail that was both inventive and delicious, showcasing his mastery behind the bar. Creg is a standout in and cobble fish is fortunate to have such a dedicated and skilled professional on their team. I look forward to returning and experiencing his service again. Highly recommended!
Place was nice. Despite hot day tables have canopies and provided shade. Nice menu selection and right near water. Overall nice experience would return.
What a little gem! The location on the Pier is fun with cool views of the ships. The service was fast, our server Jazmine was friendly and helpful. The food was on point and reasonably priced. The hot dog with bacon was a hit!! Tuesday is salsa night, the dance floor was full and the vibes were so good.
Been on my list to come here for awhile, always passed by it and never stopped in until MDW. The lobster roll was by far one of the best I’ve had in the city- very yummy. The aperol spritz was very delish too! Great vibes, great music, had so much fun here! Will be back regularly!
We called into Cobble Fish after the Liberty Express Cruise from Pier 16. The music was great in the sunshine and the frozen pina coladas were amazing! I would highly recommend! Our server, Dianey was lovely and very attentive. I’d highly recommend for a happy, party atmosphere.
Great place to stop for drinks and food before or after a harbor cruise! We didn't eat but the food looked great. We stopped here 2 nights in a row for drinks and the staff was all friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxing!
Hot day by the water but very cute vibe. The shrimp and fries were BaNgInG! I had a pina colada, which was refreshing and would make me come back again. Gavin and Danaye were such a pleasure!
Great service is only surpassed by the brilliant food! The fried shrimp is amazing and has the most incredible made on the premises tartar sauce. The lobster roll is a 10/10!! Loved the cocktails..What a great place! Two visits in 4 days…a fan!! See you again on my next visit to NYC. Way to go Team..really loved the service with a smile.
I have started organizing a team outing for July 2025. Jeff L. is the best of the best. Answered all of my questions and helped me decide best course of action when it comes to a rain plan and food. If you're planning your next event at CF please ask for Jeff. You will not be disappointed.
Cobble Fish is a great little getaway for fish and chips. They were hot and delicious, the dip they served was awesome, and you can get a great drink as well.
Samantha, Diana, Gracie. What can we say about the hospitality and warmth of the New Yorkers. If you were planning on taking any sort of boat ride from the pier, you need to make sure to stop here grab a drink and chat with these ladies. They’re fun, energetic, and make the day amazing! Sometimes it’s really people that make the day and these people definitely made our day even more amazing than it already was seeing the sights!
Had such a lovely evening here! My bartender Gracie took such good care of our table and made us the best drinks, and our server Yasmin was so attentive and delightful! 10/10 recommend :)
Such wonderful seaside view. We ordered grilled fish taco, fish & chips. The fried fish was very tender and chips were crispy. Classic Margarita was very good. I would like go back at sunset...
Creg is the best!!! The entire venue is a whole vibe!! Stopped by on a Tuesday evening off the Ferry and needed a quick spot to check and I think I missed my ferry heading back home🤣🤣 Beautiful people. beautiful Vibes! Amazing food and drinks!! Highly recommend nb
What a great find for the casual dinner or coctails...ww came here as a family with 2 hungry teenagers. It was hard to decide which restaurant we needed as I wanted outdoor wirh live music, my husband wanted seafood and teens wanted GOOD quality food with menu where burgers will be absent(they got tires of burgers lately). Ambience: can't wish for better: casual, right on pier with the views), soft seats, tables and high bar stools for all taste Food: paella (4/5 stars as portion is too small for $22), but all the other tapas are heavenly tasty that brought me back to Spain!!! High reccomend: fried calamari with 3 kinf of aioli, shrimp dashes, and fish tacos. Even typical qucamole had inpecable taste! Thank you chef Paco for inspiring this small cafe chefs to do the best fresh sea food! Oh...did I mention mushroom croquets and gaspacho!!!...its tasty too... It's a bit pricey as it adds up with drinks and still/sparlkign water bottles but...it is so good! Highly recommend this place.
The views here are amazing , behind the bar craig Isabelle and Colleen are all amazing . Craig is so nice and easy to talk to , Isabelle is always trying to help me and Colleen made me the best virgin lemonade I ever had ever . Another employee I wanna mention is Yasmin the server . She is nothing but a delight and I recommend this bar to family’s with kids . People looking for a low key date or even a lonely person wabting to enjoy the views . They serve a lobster roll like no other so my last compliments is to the chief
The atmosphere is amazing. Right off the water. I ordered the grilled fish tacos with corn tortillas, and it was absolutely delicious. We had a few drinks, which were made to perfection. Highly recommend.
The Bugy Smash Burger with Bacon and cheese was the best I've had in a very long time. The fries were crispy and delicious. Nice setting with good oldies music. The staff is very pleasant and service is amazing. Seating is outdoors with a good view. I recommend this restaurant to those seeking a good place to eat at the Seaport.
My fiancé proposed to me close by and to celebrate afterwards, we had a gathering with friends and family at Cobble Fish. Vanessa was our server and took fantastic care of us, always ensuring everyone had exactly what they needed. The food was great & the whole experience was a memorable one. Looking forward to returning.
Josh and the team were great, beautiful view of the wavertree and harborand, and the lobster rolls were perfect! see you next season!
Matty is Freaking awesome man I Met her a few months ago and baby I came looking for her months later. She definitely deserves a Raise she's, polite and has a smile to brighten up the world. We need that Today don't ever Lose her the Service is Dope. My kids said mom she is Nice I wish everyone was like her. That touched my heart so I'll be back again Soon 💞 and I come From by Albany just for the food and good service
What an amazing gem in the South Street Seaport neighborhood of Manhattan. Unparalleled views of the river, the city skylines, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge and boats docked at the seaport. Best lobster roll I've ever had, amazing service. What a perfect place to sit outside, enjoy the ambience, and a great bite to eat.
EPIC RIVER VIEWS!! Spent the first hot evening of the season at Cobble Fish at the South Street Seaport and it was amazing! The waterfront views are unbelievable and just what we need during the warm seasons in the city. I was able to enjoy margaritas and watch the boats come and go on their plush couch seating before hopping around to music from the live dj with my friends. All around a gorgeous spot for delicious food like seafood tacos and burgers. Will definitely be enjoying Cobble Fish all season long!
OMG! What a great find after a nice visit at the South Street museum! A brand new place by the water. Super chill! Friendly staff, good music selections and unbeatable view right by the WaverTree, the ship museum! Every once a while you will see neighborhood dogs drop by and says hello!
I come here often, but today Dianery came with prompt attention to handling our orders quickly due to our lunch time constraint. Always a vibe, definitely check out the happy hour and their fish and chips is cooked to perfection!
Such a great spot with an easygoing,, chill vibe, the food is fresh and tasty, perfect for summer hangouts. The atmosphere is relaxed but still feels lively, with great music just loud enough to make your conversations feel private. It’s a stylish setup that makes you want to stay a while. Service was excellent, super attentive without being overbearing, and everyone was genuinely friendly. Definitely one of those places where you can kick back, enjoy good company, and just vibe. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cool, laid-back spot with great energy
We hosted a team luncheon here and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The ambiance was perfect — warm, welcoming, and ideal for a group setting. The service was top-notch: attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating to our needs. Now let’s talk about the food — 10/10 across the board. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our team couldn’t stop raving about the stuffed mushrooms, coconut shrimp, and garlic & cilantro fries! If you're looking for a spot to host a group event, celebration, or team lunch that leaves a lasting impression — this is it. Highly recommend and will definitely be back! 👏👏👏
The existing comments about this restaurant match my experience exactly. The setting offers coziness, hygiene, and visual appeal. 10 stars. Their commitment to good ingredients is clear. The entire experience here is worth your time.
Delicious food! The atmosphere is phenomenal! I arrived on a Tuesday, there were a lot of people dancing! I had a great time! 100% recommended!
Very cute outdoors on pier. Metal stools at high tops. Limited menu but the lobster roll was excellent. Also enjoyed the mahi and fries. Very friendly servers and clean washrooms.
I attended Salsa Night on Tuesday and it was such a blast! The crowd was full of energy, the music was lively, and the vibe was electric. I ordered a Piña Colada while my husband had a whiskey cocktail and both were delicious. The lobster roll? Absolutely AMAZING! The service was attentive, and this has officially become my go to spot at Seaport. Plus, the view by the water is unbeatable.
Very nice place! A great place for family, friends and that special person. I had their version of fish and chips. Nugget size fish bits with seasoned fries. Our server Luis was great along with the ambiance and music! Returning to this place for sure. A gem of a place.
Such a wonderful place for a send-off and get-together. We went after work with a group of colleagues and had such a great time. The staff is professional and friendly. The platters and drinks came out one after the other and we never had to wait. The space is comfortable right by the harbor. The food is quite delicious and not to mention that yumilicious lobster roll 😋
Very nice! Quite scenic, various seating choices with plenty of shade available. Staff was accommodating, service was good, a little slow. We enjoyed fish and chips that were excellent, served hot with fries that were lightly battered and simply excellent! Beer was cold and the atmosphere is laid back and not too noisy.
It was our first time trying Cobble Fish. Josh, our server, did an amazing job making sure our drinks were never empty! The lobster roll was delicious and the fish and chips were super yummy too! They have well priced pitchers of beer and good cocktails as well. We were lucky to have such a beautiful day to go to this outdoor restaurant. They were playing great music to accompany the view overlooking the river. When we arrived in the early afternoon we were happy to be seated right away, but by the time we left around 2pm, it had picked up. will be back!
Hey there! I meant to write this review a while ago, but I absolutely loved Cobble Fish. The place is so nice, and the staff are all super helpful. I forgot the name of this blue drink, but it was amazing and a must-try. I felt really good after a few sips. The food was great; I love anything seafood, and this place is definitely on my list for the best in the Seaport NYC. Thank you, and I'll see you soon.
The location is just great...by the water (Pier).. I went there on a salsa dancing evening and had dinner there while dancing. I had the Buoy Burger. The portion is relatively small for 17 $ but is was tasty. The atmosphere was nice and I had a lot of fun dancing. The floor is no good for dancing.... it should be improved.
I LOVE this spot. Cobble Fish is nestled on the dock right by the water at the South Street Seaport, so even if the food and drinks weren't as delicious and affordable as they are, the view can't be beat. We arrived around 7pm on a Friday, it was busy but we still grabbed a comfortable couch and were taken care of right away. We were a party of two, but saw a lot of larger parties easily accommodated. We loved every cocktail we tried, and don't sleep on the fish tacos- trust. Overall it was a great vibe, the DJ helped to set the tone for the weekend. Will def be one of my summer spots.
I was expecting this spot to be more touristy and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. That may be because it's tucked away on the pier and isn't in a building (no indoor seating). Just keep an eye out for the blue umbrellas. The vibe was casual and relaxing. It felt like we had escaped the city to a beach bar. I highly recommend the guacamole, tacos, and fish n chips. Definitely would return to relax and try more food.
I think this is gonna be a go to spot when it gets warmer. The lobster roll is worth it and it's pretty big compared to other places. The fries were bomb with that white sauce. The fried fish was fresh and yummy. Everything was salted to perfection and it was nice and crispy. The atmosphere was nice especially when it gets warm and the staff was great.
I was having a tough day when I found myself down on the seaport. Just a taking a walk for my lunch break when I stumbled across Cobble Fish. It’s a chill spot, a little pricey (in my opinion), but Isabel was phenomenal. She was kind and super welcoming. Definitely wouldn’t lose her!!
We went to Cobble Fish for lunch on the 4th of July. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the East Hudson River, Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, and the Brooklyn skyline. They serve fantastic seafood bites and sandwiches in a great atmosphere. The restaurant had covered high tables and a lounge area. We chose to sit at a high table. When we ordered, the staff offered us the special of the day which was a foot-long bacon-wrapped hotdog and a draft beer for $16. Who could say no to that on the 4th of July? Overall, it was a fun lunch. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.
This place was such a vibe! The food was relatively good, the service was very good, the music was on point. I didn’t love their calamari breading, for the seaport I feel like they need to step that up. And they don’t have a real bathroom, just two porta potty’s. Other than those things, I’d go back!
A perfect place for outdoor dining under a nice weather. Seating on a comfortable couch, chilling and relaxing eating the dinner while feeling the sea breeze around the pier. Very nice and relaxing ambient. Staffs provide good service. Although the food are little bit pricey but is worth to try.
Cobble Fish is an outdoor dining spot in South Street Seaport at the end of Pier 16, perfect for a warm, sunny day like today. The vibe is great and the food was delicious, but we unfortunately didn’t have the best experience today. - Service: We went around 1pm and it wasn’t very busy at the time. We were sitting at the end of the restaurant, but after they served us our food, they didn’t come around to check in on us and it was very difficult to get their attention. - Food: I ordered the Calm Seas Lobster Roll ($31+), which was mixed with celery, onion and mayo which I generally don’t love, but it was delicious. The bun was so buttery, too. The only problem I had with the food was that I bit into something hard and discovered there was a piece of lobster shell in my lobster roll. With summer approaching, hopefully, others will have a better experience.
The lobster sandwich was extremely tasty and tender, bursting with flavor, while the cocktails lacked in taste. The service team offered exceptional service, taking initiative to meet customers' needs. However, I’d like to mention that the restaurant's atmosphere was lacking. The floor appeared unkempt, with trash scattered on the floor in various spots, and the restroom facilities were in need of improvement.
Great food and atmosphere especially in the summer. Highly recommend the shrimp, it was delicious! The fish and chips unfortunately the fish tasted very frozen and bland. very nice server lady although it was slightly strange that she told us the total directly (guessing she decided the tip amount) instead of letting the customer do it. please be aware this is outdoors so not suitable for cold weather days!
Very nice place to have a drink with friends - talk, relax, or pregame. Very relaxing especially now that’s summer, this place is great with the lounge and couch space. Drinks are relatively cheaper and well balanced. The food is very debatable. The paella - absolutely don’t take it (it was cold and not the paella I expected). The fish and chips was good tho. Recommended for drinks and a couple of seafood snacks.
We had dinner here last night before a concert at Pier 17. Prices are typical for Manhattan, but everything was just okay, good at best. Lobster roll was good despite a small portion size. Nice views and lots of seating. We’re not sure if the waitress was handling too many tables, but the service here was the worst I’ve had in a long time. We had to ask our waitress to go check on our drinks 3 times. She apologized that the bar was a little backed up, but 3 couples that sat down after us got their drinks before we did, so it seemed like she just forgot to put the order in. We sat at 6:05 and got our 2 cocktails at 6:35. We had to ask for our water to be refilled (someone was walking around with a pitcher of water, but ignored our table entirely) and we had to ask for the check twice.
Nice place, nice and relaxing atmosphere. The food was also quite decent. The employees were also welcoming and relatively service minded, but the place nevertheless appeared to be somewhat disorganized, and the interaction between the employees was perhaps a bit uncoordinated. A little potential for improvement, in other words, but all in all a relatively decent experience.
Had an event here with 50 ppl. The space is very nice, and service is pretty good as well. Good event for a birthday or summer outdoor party. The food was honestly an issue - it was cold when we arrived, and they forgot some of the items we ordered. They tried to make it up by bringing lots of everything, but everyone had left by the time they tried to make it right. If you do an event here - I would stick to drinks!
Wish I could give a 2.5 because it’s not a 3. Food was greasy, small, and overpriced for what it actually is compared to the menu details. It wasn’t terrible, but more like bar finger food, which is not how it seems on the menu. Not sure if this place is known more for the drinks because I didn’t have any, but after a boat tour I was pretty disappointed in the food. Looks nothing like the photos. When asked to bring an extra cup of some unknown sauce out that we were served, they came back twice with incorrect sauce, didn’t know the items on the menu that they serve. Can’t say it was horrible, but definitely wouldn’t come back/recommend for dinner. Maybe lunch if you’re not a food critic.
Place have an amazing view and good vibe. But the food was really bad, it is more like tapas. We got the paella. It taste old, and rice seems to be fried. The fish tacos was made with a cold flour tortilla. the fish no flavor at all and the lettuce was not fresh (See the pictures). Advice? get just beer and enjoy the view.
First time here and what a terrible experience. The worst part of it all was the waiter opening and closing our tab the minute we put in our order even after asking her to leave it open as we may order more drinks. She returned not even 2 minutes later and said “ok well I’m closing your tab now.” Wait what?! But what’s worse is she asked for a tip before we were serviced! This happened the minute we sat down. Never again. Such a nice space with a nice vibe but terrible customer service! We couldn’t enjoy our food after that we felt rushed and unwanted.
I was so excited to have a date night with my husband here but really disappointed. Overall, the vibes were like the pics and most reviews. We had 3 different waitresses and did not feel welcomed or important with several large groups present. The vibe was cool and the food was really good (ordered Shrimp Po boy & Shrimp with Fries), but the 2 drinks we ordered were watery (completely unacceptable on a hot day), no one came to check if we were ok, no offer of water, not even a hello/ or welcome by any staff. Seems great for groups only🤷🏼♀️.
So I saw a place at the seaport and decided to buy 2 persecco .And they were fifteen dollars a piece but they belly, fill up the small cup that I received. When I asked the waitress to fill it up, but she said that was the measurement policy. What she could have it was to fill it up and get faith just to have customers come back. I don't understand these restaurants anymore and it was barely anybody there.
I recently visited Cobble Fish, and while the atmosphere was good, I was surpised by the price of tequila shots. Four shots set me back $60, which is outrageous considering that even premium brands like Casamigos don’t typically cost that much per shot. Unfortunately, this left a sour taste in what could have been an otherwise enjoyable experience and not visit them again. I would recommend double-checking drink prices before ordering.
I'm quite surprized by the responses on google for this restaurant. I was trying to get a quick bite before going on a cruise. We were seated and no one came over to serve us with the exception of one waitress who basically told us to go get our orders ourselves. After watching every other table around us getting service we finally left. I've never been made to feel so targeted in my entire life. I would go as far as to say we were racially profiled. i say this only for a lack of understanding what the hell was really going on??? Two staff stood obviously talking about our table but decided I guess to not serve us. Horrible service, I would never recommend this place in a million years.
I visited this restaurant recently. They would not serve food, only drinks even though they had a food special going on. Every single employee was horrible. I arrived around 3PM and asked when they would serve food. Here’s what different and the same employee said: “In 40 minutes” “At 4 o’clock” “At 5 o’clock” “I don’t know” A woman employee with a white tennis skirt with dark brown hair wearing a low bun had the nerve to say “I need you to order something or my boss might get mad.” Well no one could! She also dropped items while trying to make a drink…embarrassing. It was obvious no one knew what was going on. The manager in a salmon colored shirt was confused and never served any guests in the area I was sitting in. Everyone was waiting on the food and a stranger nearby was complaining out loud about their horrible service (rightfully so). They were also unaware of any of the prices on the menu and had to look up each item one by one. How long have you all worked here? We came to this place because the vibes look great but the truth is that every employee lacks knowledge and every customer was visibly upset or annoyed. And if they’re hosting an event? Forget about you. To them, you don’t exist.
I ordered The Big Dog, and while eating, I found a piece of a toothpick in the food. I immediately informed the staff, and they offered me only a free dessert and a drink. However, I believe this kind of issue requires a much more serious response. A mistake like this in the kitchen could have led to severe health consequences. I could have easily choked, injured my mouth, or suffered even more serious internal damage. This is not something minor or something that should be brushed off with just a dessert. When I suggested that a small discount on the bill would be an appropriate gesture considering the seriousness of the situation, the request was denied. No manager came to speak with me, and the restaurant took no real responsibility — just a quick “sorry.” Very disappointed with the way this was handled. I sincerely hope the restaurant reconsiders its safety standards and how it responds to incidents like this in the future.
After the lungforce walk, a few friends and I came to enjoy the establishment. We were greeted half heartedly by a waitress that was extremely RUDE! She didn’t even give us a chance to order or look at a menu before saying “you really need to order in order to sit here” etc. The food took a long time and after half my party left and paid separate bills, she proceeded to choose her own gratuity. For that terrible service, i will never patron this establishment!
Came in after a day at the beach and spent 3hr 20min here.. For 2 people, and it wasn't even crowded. About 5 min to be seated, 45 min before drink order, and we placed food order w/drink order. About 30 minutes before returned with 1st drinks. Food (fried fish, shrimp, and some fries) took 1 hr to come out. My bf finished his 1st drink before the food came, and had to break into our beach bag drink stash for 2nd drink, bc waitress was MIA. He finished the 2nd drink. No return for drinks until food brought to table. Got it fairly quickly. Never saw the waitress again. Took about 30 min to eat, and we waited about 20 minutes to pay, but could not wait any longer bc we had to catch the ferry at a certain time. We end up telling the bar what we had so we could pay and leave. That took about 10 minutes. 5 min to be seated 45 min before 1st drink order 30 min to get drink order 1 hr to get fried fish, shrimp, and fries 30 min to eat 20 min waiting to pay 10 min paying at bar Total time for 2 people= 3hr 20 minutes. Worst experience ever. I'm not seeing the 4.5 start rating.
