I heard that this was the best gluten free pizza in New York City... & people who say that do NOT lie! Any pizza on their menu can be made to have a gluten free crust, which they make in a separate dedicated kitchen. First of all: the gluten free crust is truly insane. Tastes exactly like a regular pizza. It was so chewy & perfectly thin. Easy to fold. Perfection. I got the GF Pizza del Re & Quattro Formaggi: - Quattro Formaggi: I LOVE a white pizza & if you want cheesy overload (like me), this is the pizza to get! It was so delicious & all the cheeses worked so well together. - Pizza del Re: It was good, but I think the truffle threw me off a bit, just wasn't what I was expecting, but yummy nonetheless! The mushrooms are a perfect addition for texture & the proscuitto added a delicate saltiness that I honestly wished the Quattro Formaggi had. Overall, great food, great service (& the food came out VERY fast! My sister & dad got a pie too!), & great ambiance. We had a reservation for Friday at 6 pm but we honestly didn't need it, however if you go after 7 pm I’d highly suggest a reservation as it got very busy. Lots of larger groups too. If you’re celiac, gluten free, or have a wheat allergy & you’re missing a genuinely great slice of pizza, this is the place to be. Cannot recommend it enough!
★★★★★ Best pizza in the whole world! Kesté Pizza at 77 Fulton St is simply incredible—it is literally my excuse to come to NYC. I always have the gluten-free Macellaio, and it is amazing. The GF crust is unbelievable; it feels so soft, you’d hardly know it’s gluten-free. The mozzarella was also amazing and incredibly fresh. Their tiramisu, artichoke salad and fresca salad are unbelievable. The service is a perfect blend of a European restaurant vibe with a fast-paced NYC overlay—attentive but efficient. If you are looking for world-class pizza (especially if you are gluten-free), this is the place.
Went here for gluten free pizza on Valentine’s Day. I made a reservation ahead of time. As a celiac I felt safe and the pizza was delicious. Very filling. Drinks were amazing.
We went in at about 5:00 and there was already some people in. The pizza is AMAZING, its the best pizza i ever had in my LIFE!! Sicillian pizza was my favorite!
Kestè is a great spot for authentic Neapolitan pizza with a ton of options to choose from. The Ragu and the Butcher are my go to pies. Both are really well made, hearty and packed with flavor. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The outdoor seating with heated bubbles is a great touch, especially in colder weather. Overall, everything tastes fresh and authentic. Easy place to come back to.
The gluten free pizza is the BEST I’ve ever had. I traveled across NYC in a winter storm simply to get takeout from here. Every time I eat in the service is warm and welcoming. The ambiance of the actual restaurant is perfect too. The gluten free appetizers are incredible as well. Don’t skip on dessert either! Everything is worth the money here.
My bestie is gluten free, and after hearing they have amazing gluten free options, we came for her birthday. This was without a doubt the BEST gluten free pizza I’ve ever had in my life, and it doesn’t even come close. We got 3 different pizzas for 4 of us and felt it was just enough. The crust was so incredibly fluffy and each pizza packed so much flavor. For dessert we got the angioletti Nutella and I will be dreaming of that for the remainder of my life. I’m not usually a dessert girl but this was actually 11/10. Can’t wait to be back :)
This is really the best GF pizza I’ve had. My husband has been GF for over 10 ten years and I’ve tried GF pizza with him all over the country and the world. The crust is thin, fluffy, and crispy. It doesn’t have a “GF taste”. They have gf stuffed crust pizza. The toppings are traditional Sicilian style. They were doing lunch pizza this week so we ended up getting 2 regular sized pizzas. They were each about $35 so it was a pricey bill but we definitely could have split a pizza and been satisfied, we left with a lot of left overs. If you are GF and miss pizza, you should absolutely check this place out.
We came here for dinner, was moderately crowded at 7pm on a Sunday night, but we were able to be seated right away. Ordered two different appetizers to try them out, one was the arancini and the other the fraticelli. Neither of them really were particularly amazing, kinda bland. The pizzas on the other hand were well worth the price, very filling and tasty. The hot oil they provided was also a nice touch for my Diavola pizza. Not pictured is the second pizza we had which was a margherita and sausage, also very good. Altogether a nice spot for a quick meal and very solid and fresh pizza
On the last night of our vacation, my husband and I had the pleasure of eating dinner here. Our visit was memorable because of the exceptional service, attentive waitstaff, and outstanding pizza. We arrived to a bustling dining room but decided to sit in their outdoor area. This walled space is comfortable and inviting, allowing guests to feel like they are removed from the street while eating. They also allow dogs in this area but cannot provide a water bowl, so owners should have one on hand. The menu is plentiful with all pizzas available with gluten free dough. What felt like within minutes of ordering, our two pizzas arrived fresh from the ovens. I'm always skeptical of gluten free pizza doughs but Kesté has surpassed all expectations. Their dough was crispy on the outside, airy on the inside, and each bite was thoroughly satisfying. Before asking, the waitstaff were there to refill a drink or provide a napkin but never hovered or were overbearing in any way. Their attentiveness and anticipation of every guests' need heightened the service, elevating our dining experience. I HIGHLY recommend enjoying a meal at this restaurant, especially for people with Celiac disease. I cannot wait to visit again when in the area and will take advantage of their online ordering.
This restaurant is truly Italian authentic flavors, a real Italian atmosphere, and top-quality ingredients straight from Italy. The food was excellent, and the staff couldn’t have been kinder. Living in New York, it’s rare to find a place that stays so true to Italian traditions. Thank you, Roberto, for the warm welcome and wonderful hospitality! We can’t wait to come back!
Reminded me of a classic Italian pizza shop in every way. Incredible pizza with that chewy, fired dough. Great wine selection. I had Il Bruciato, highly recommend. But the people topped it off. It had a comfortable, welcoming family vibe. They take excellent care of each other and the customers. I sat at the bar alone in front of soccer World Cup playoffs on TV, and everyone was relaxed and enjoying themselves.
Kesté Pizza e Vino truly delivers on its reputation for perfect Neapolitan pizza – the crust, flavors, and quality of ingredients are all outstanding. The restaurant has a warm, positive atmosphere that immediately puts you in a good mood, making it a wonderful spot to enjoy authentic Italian food. One small area of improvement would be the space near the restroom door. The line can feel a bit distracting for guests seated right beside it, taking away from the otherwise flawless dining experience. A simple reorganization or thoughtful decoration to “hide” that area would make the ambiance even better. Overall, Kesté remains a must-visit for pizza lovers who want to experience Neapolitan pizza at its best.
We had a great time! This place was recommended by my company’s sales executive and you know how they are ;) lol we ordered red sangrias and 4 pizzas, all cut in 6 pieces, and it was delicious! The pizza didn’t feel too heavy either like in the sauce or in the cheese or too greasy either. We all devoured it as it was so good! Would highly recommend this place to anyone!
5+ Stars! A hidden gem with heart. We had a lovely lunch here with the family and truly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is cozy and family-friendly, and the entire team was incredibly welcoming. We were greeted by a kind lady at the entrance and seated right away, which set the tone for a great experience. We ordered the burrata pizza and a margherita pizza for the kids—both were delicious! We also ordered the Fichi & Avocado salad… and wow, that salad was absolutely AMAZING. If you’re a fan of walnuts, avocado, and figs, this one’s a must-try. So fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Service was fast, smooth, and super friendly. Definitely a place we’d come back to!

We came for the extensive gluten-free options, and were not disappointed. Everything on the menu could be made gluten-free. The artichoke salad was wonderful, especially with the gluten free bread. I ordered the Siciliana pizza and it was very good, but a bit oily for me. The rest of our party were not GF, and had the Siciliana, the Margherita, and I can't remember the name of the last one, but it was one of the fried speciality pizzas, and they were all very happy with their choices. My only complaint was that it was a bit tight in the seating, and loud. It was difficult to have a conversation across the table as the restaurant got more crowded. Service was impeccable, so friendly and knowledgeable about GF and Celiac. I will be coming back to try a different pizza, the Margherita looked delicious.
I visited for lunch and had a very enjoyable dining experience. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. While the menu was slightly complicated to read and understand at first, the quality of the food more than made up for it. The pizza was outstanding and notably different from what is typically offered at standard pizza restaurants. I ordered the Montanara pizza, which had an excellent texture and a rich, delicious flavor. The menu notes that it is prepared in a wood-fired oven, which likely contributes to its exceptional taste. The gelato for dessert was very good and served as a nice way to finish the meal. There were a few concerns regarding the billing. I was charged twenty percent service charge, along with what appeared to be an additional tip. The menu listed gelato as five dollars for a scoop and six dollars to take it to go, but I was charged six dollars despite eating it at the restaurant. Make sure you pay attention to your receipt.
Crust, Heat, and a Price Tag Keste, in a quiet corner of Lower Manhattan, delivers smoky, wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas in a rustic, tightly packed space. We came specifically for their dedicated gluten-free, celiac-safe oven—a rare and welcome feature in NYC—and it was reassuring to see the care they take in handling dietary needs. The pizzas themselves have character: thick, chewy crusts with that signature char, fresh cheese, and well-balanced toppings that let each flavor come through without overwhelming. The Capricciosa, the namesake Keste, and a classic calzone were all satisfying. A glass of Cabernet paired nicely—once it arrived. We also ordered the artichoke salad, which was small, heavy on Parmesan, and light on actual artichoke. Bright citrus and mint gave it lift, but it didn’t quite come together. Service was polite and fast to take our order, but there was a long wait for both food and drinks. Despite AC units, the dining room was hot and close, and the rustic furniture is looking worn. Our total came to $146 for two, including tip—a bit steep for pizza, but we were hungry and it hit the spot. Was it worth the trip? Yes—for the gluten-free safety and the smoky, satisfying pies. But in a city full of standout pizza joints, Keste feels more like a box to check than a go-to. #KesteNYC #GlutenFreePizza #CeliacFriendlyNYC #NeapolitanPizza #LowerManhattanEats #WoodFiredCrust #NYCPizzaScene #PizzaReview #RusticEats

Review for GF pizza ordered online. 4* crust that has great texture but lacking in distinctive taste. 3* Red sauce and cheese. Overall better than most frozen pies but bland and needs added spices. I would order crusts and add own sauce and toppings. I bet the GF pizza is better at their restaurant and will try next time in NYC.
