The duck and persimmon dish was delicious! Was recommended medium-rare and it was tender and juicy. The dish’s flavors have a strong Asian influence and is sufficiently savory to my liking. The sausage was just okay. 2nd picture is the trout and 3rd picture is the focaccia appetizer. For dessert, I recommend the pistachio tres leches! The crunchy toffee on top was amazing and the pistachio flavor was rich and perfectly balanced with flaky salt. Beautiful night view as well. Would come back!
Exceptional Service By Jenna and Joey! The smash burger for brunch and the drinks last night were super! The copper bells and the Verde Es Vida was sensational! Come on down for the best drinks food and service in town! Shoutout to EJ the Restaurant Manager for squeezing me in on such short notice on a busy night at the bar.
Mari was an excellent server. This is a great place to eat. Celebrated my birthday here and everything we ate was outstanding, so hard to find a vegetarian meal just as good as the meat dishes but chefs kiss on the poblano dish! Beets amazing, squash soup amazing, pork belly and beef appetizer amazing.
Every so often, you stumble into a restaurant that does more than serve dinner. It offers an experience that feels curated, intentional, and quietly unforgettable. Level 5 in Albuquerque is exactly that place. Service....... Impeccable. From the moment we arrived, the service set the tone for the night. Warm without hovering, polished without pretension, and infused with a sense of genuine care. Every staff member moved with confidence and kindness, offering thoughtful recommendations and anticipating needs before we even voiced them. It felt like dining with a team of professionals who truly love what they do. This is rare, and it is a gift. Atmosphere...... Timeless, calm, trendy, and an absolute vibe. Perched above the city, Level 5 surrounds you with an atmosphere that is both grounding and elevated. Soft lighting, modern desert tones, and beautiful seating create a sense of quiet luxury. The view of the city sparkles below you like a blanket of stars, giving the entire evening a cinematic glow. Fire features shimmer along the patio. Conversations drift gently. The space holds a perfect balance of intimacy and energy. It is the kind of atmosphere that invites you to linger and savor every moment. The Food....... Delectable does not even begin to describe it. Every dish feels like a love letter to Southwestern flavors presented with modern artistic flair. The Roots and Mole Blanco was earthy and elegant, a collection of roasted vegetables resting on a silky mole with a crisp plantain chip standing tall at the center. The clothbound cheddar fondue was warm and indulgent, with rich cheese, pickled apples, and toasted bread that brought every flavor forward. It is the kind of dish that stays with you long after the meal ends. The main courses were equally impressive. The steak arrived perfectly cooked, tender with a gorgeous sear, served with roasted vegetables and a smooth sauce that added depth and comfort. The chicken was vibrant and beautifully seasoned, served in a bright green chile broth with fresh avocado and crisp tortilla strips that added texture and character. Every bite felt thoughtful, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Final Thoughts....... Level 5 is more than a restaurant. It is an atmosphere, a feeling, and a moment above the city where everything slows down and becomes beautiful. The service shines. The ambiance soothes. The food rises to meet the magic of the setting with confidence and artistry. This is the kind of experience that stays with you, the kind that reminds you how nourishing a truly wonderful meal can be. Simply exceptional.
Level 5 Rooftop Restaurant at Hotel Chaco has really elevated its cuisine and service. It has become one of our favorite goto restaurants and never disappoints in offering a mesmerizing dining experience that celebrates locally sourced ingredients with exquisite presentation. Inside and outside seating offer stunning panoramic views of the Sandia Mountains and Albuquerque's skyline which set the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal--or even a well-crafted cocktail and an appetizer--anytime of the year! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! It's that good! Chef Sean Sinclair has brought to LEVEL 5 his decades of culinary experience, his passion for unique twists on local foods and his artistry of food presentation. The menu is seasonal and pays delightful homage to local and regional ingredients. Each dish is crafted with creativity and care, from the delicious and fresh Cherry Tomato Bruschetta appetizer (featuring vibrant and flavorful marinated cherry tomatoes, burrata cheese, chile oil, salsa verde and sherry gastrique atop daily house-made focaccia) and the Sugar Snap Pea Caesar (probably one of the best salads we've ever eaten snd not to be missed) to the succulent Zia Agriculture Beef served with a chile relleno, ancho demi-glace, potato puree, red chile butter, and calabacitas. Other dishes we have tried and highly recommend are the Grilled Half Chicken & Hominy, the Pan-Roasted Trout and the Calabacitas Ravioli. Capping off any of these amazing dishes are the homemade desserts. Our absolute favorite is the Pistachio Tres Leches. A must try dessert! Not only is the food delicious, but the artistry in presentation is truly outstanding. Each plate could easily be mistaken for a work of art, captivating both the eye and the palate. The attentive staff complements the wonderful cuisine with impeccable service, ensuring every guest feels valued and well taken care of. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a night out, LEVEL 5 Rooftop Restaurant at Hotel Chaco is a culinary gem that delights the senses, making it a must-visit for food lovers. ~Paige
Best rooftop bar/ lounge in Albuquerque. The music, the vibe and especially the view!!! WOW! Service was perfect- everyone was so attentive and nice. Food was good- we only had bar chows. MUST GO! Especially during sunset.
I recently dined at Level 5 restaurant in Albuquerque, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The evening began with a stunning view of the city skyline at dusk, with the moon rising over the mountains—a perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. Our server, EJ, was absolutely magnificent. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. EJ’s recommendations were spot-on, and his warm demeanor made us feel right at home. The food was nothing short of spectacular! For the main course, I had a perfectly cooked piece of halibut. We also had the Matanza, served with tender collard greens and chunks of pear, which added a lovely sweetness to the savory dish. The crispy pork crackling on top was a fantastic touch, adding texture and flavor. Another dish was the succulent piece of chicken, garnished with microgreens and crispy tortilla strips, resting on a bed of mushrooms and a rich, flavorful sauce. The presentation was impeccable, and the flavors were well-balanced and inventive. The tres leches cake was absolutely magnificent! To complement the meal, I enjoyed a refreshing cocktail, beautifully garnished with a dried citrus slice, fresh mint, and a cherry. The drink was a perfect balance of sweet and tart, making it a great pairing for the savory dishes. The ambiance at Level 5 was warm and inviting, with wooden tables and a modern yet cozy setup. The attention to detail in both the food and service was evident throughout the evening. Thanks to EJ and the team at Level 5, this was a dining experience I won’t soon forget. I highly recommend this rooftop gem in Albuquerque for anyone looking for a special night out!
Spectacular place! From the food to the view, to the atmosphere, to the service. The combination of flavors was a stupendous mix a flavors, you get elegant with a hint of comfort New Mexican food. I had the 14oz Ramon Perez Ranch Beef New York Strip cooked to perfection, everything was chef’s kiss! The food came out quickly granted I stopped by on a busy Saturday night. The service was excellent, the view of the Sandia mountains before sunset was astonishing, the view later in the evening was just as breathtaking! The dessert was not only delicious and beautiful to look at, the combination of flavors from the prickly pear sorbet to the lime sponge cake, to the Italian meringue, you get sweet, fruity, with a hint of tart and more sweetness from the vanilla ice cream, yet not overwhelmingly sweet, Just wow! Everything was perfect and I will be back.
Food was absolutely wonderful!!! We got a multitude of things from the small plates and the entrees sections and split them between the two of us. Servers were very attentive and helped answer any questions we had. The view was an amazing bonus! We got to see the beautiful mountains at sunset.
Excellent food with an amazing view. Jenna is an absolutely fantastic server. Manager is friendly as well. So, it’s all good. Try it for yourself.
Service was awesome, the waiter was extremely attentive to our needs. I branched out and tried an entree I didn’t like and was given a full refund for the entree without asking. If you’re looking for upscale New Mexican tastes, this is the place for you!
Wow, it's been years since I went to Level 5 and our experience with the food was impeccable. The incredible take on lavish food with a New Mexican flare was unexpected and extraordinary. The chef was checking on tables regularly throughout the evening, and was polite, customer service oriented and willing to answer our questions. The current menus elk carne asada with corn meal naan was beautifully plated, tasted amazing and smooth to eat. The filet mignon was soft like butter, and the sides were delicious from the whipped cheddar mashed potatoes to the asparagus. Loved to see the selection of local ingredients included on the menu. The lamb tbones were also delicious, and we finished off with the molten chocolate cake that tasted like it was from scratch. The food was an amazing experience, and there were other items that sounded delicious that we are eager to go back and try. Now officially my favorite place for upscale dinning in ABQ. Prices were shockingly accessible compared to what we typically see from places like Papadeaux or Vernon's, and given the local flare we've decided that this is the way to go for date night, birthdays, business meetings, and intimate gatherings. This was awesome. We will be back to try everything on the menu before it changes for the season!
We dined in for my birthday and everything was perfect. We shared 5 dishes from the entrees and all of the food was amazing. Chef Sean has pulled out all the stops with the menu and everything is delicious. The service staff was amazing as well. Highly recommend for a wonderful night out!
I loved the atmosphere here. Quiet and upscale. Attentive waitresses. The charcuterie board was so cute and tasty. The sea bass was actually amazing. The sorbet was the perfect little dessert to end a good meal with. Perfect place in Albuquerque for a date night where you can dress up.
Minimalist...yet chic and comfortable. Great views (sunset), (Sandia mts). Refreshingly uncluttered menu. Locally sourced southwestern flair. The Duo of Duck was Delicious! Where else in the world...could you get a Duck confit tamale 🫔 ?? And the suggested Argentinean Pinot Noir paired perfectly. The sweet potato soup and cheddar fondue equally superb. Kudos to the entire attentive dining staff and the entire kitchen staff as well. I've dined from Hawaii to Sweden...one of Albuquerques best.
This review isn’t about the food or the drinks or the decor, it’s about OUTSTANDING service. I am staying in the hotel and came upstairs for a nightcap. Two men sat near me and began a conversation that made me uncomfortable, but - - EJ and all the other staff were SO responsive and helpful and supportive!!! I cannot stress enough how wonderful it felt to have the staff *immediately* react by remaking my drink, moving me to a new table, checking in on me frequently, and escorting those gentlemen out in a way that was so smooth I didn’t even notice it happening until it was over. Creepy guys are everywhere but great service isn’t. Five stars to the staff here.
I loved every second of my visit. The food was exquisite. What can I say about the views overlooking the city? It was so beautiful. The chef came by to find out if I enjoyed my meal. It was an intimate dining experience that made my trip amazing. After I finished my meal, I enjoyed some quiet time of reflection in the outside area by the fire. There is something refreshing about the ambiance there. The manager was extremely pleasant. Not only he come by my table to ask me how everything was, but we had a delightful conversation the patio talking about health and fitness. I highly recommend stopping by if you ever visit Albuquerque. Thank you for a wonderful memory.
Excellent fine dining experience and menu! Chef Marc is incredible with his choice of dishes. Each one is curated for the season and cooked with his signature flare. The rooftop just adds another level to the experience. The openness of the outdoors pairs perfectly with the Albuquerque style and vibe. I mentioned fine dining, however as an Albuquerque establishment, there is a welcoming sense of Abq style and it embraces Abq residence without a stuffy “fine dining” feel. We celebrated a birthday with a large party of 14 people and they laid out the red carpet for us. Staff brought out an array of starting dishes which were tasteful and light in preparation for our main courses. All the cocktails looked and tasted amazing from the bar. I sampled the Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini. However, I had a simple beer to be paired with my Pollo con Papas.
It was amazing!! I made reservations for my boyfriends birthday and it was to dine outside but unfortunately it had to be a rainy day, we arrived and I hadn’t checked my phone they called me to cancel my reservation due to weather conditions, I started to worry we’d have to go elsewhere but they got us a table inside and treated us really good servers made suggestions and we left completely satisfied though I would have love to have been seated outside the food and service was worth settling for indoor dining. Will definitely return!
Level5 is on a whole new Level! (See what I did there?) And now with Chef Marc it has gone catastrophic! Atmosphere, service, food all on point! Derek was our server and he was awesome! Even sang a Mariah Carey song for us! Butterfly! Made us laugh! The food was so good! Sea Bass was cooked to perfection, and the risotto was so creamy and also cooked to perfection! The wine list is beautiful as well! Our new place for dinner and to show off to all our friends and family!
I want to preface this with a realistic approach. The many negative reviews seem to be very distasteful and unrealistic. The food is culturally enriched, this is not your everyday American fine dining establishment. To come in here and expect stereotypical fine dining dishes and have the nerve to call the many options bland is beyond my comprehension. These reviews can be assumed to be people who are very picky and unappreciative of the spices and flavors meant to accompany each dish. I observed multiple people requesting certain modifications to their dishes which in this case seems highly distasteful. While I can’t comment on other people’s customer and or waiting customer service experiences. I can say mine was very timely and attentive. They were also busy. Chef was personable and appreciative to have people dining there. Best quality food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to a few fine dining establishments.
This is a Premier restaurant! The food is outstanding. Views of the city are great. Executive Chef Marc Q has really elevated the standard of excellent food! If you live in Albuquerque, or visiting Albuquerque, it is a MUST that you visit this establishment!! Whether it’s a brunch, dinner date, or just need a cocktail, this is the place to be!
Absolutely amazing.!!! 5 star.!! Steak better than ANY steak house I’ve been to hands down. Sean (the chef) hands are blessed.!!
Enjoyed our time there. Service, food, atmosphere and the view, All good. I like the items in the shared plate menu a lot.
Chef Marc Q continues to provide the Duke city with amazing food. Great experience overall, service was awesome and it's always great to see Chef Marc doing his thing. Amazing views from anywhere in the space.
I had the wonderful opportunity to dine at this rooftop experience in the Chaco Hotel. The ambiance was amazing and the service was stellar. My server was from Nebraska, can't remember his name but big shout out! We talked old school Big Ten football. Since I was visiting from the great state of Michigan. The sunset and clouds have to have been one of the most 'surreal' experiences I have seen in life! For a five 🌟 person, this was a 5 🌟 experience! This is one of the major reasons ABQ has become my 2nd home!
Best meal in 30 years in Abq. EJ - our waiter was fabulous. Chef Sean Sinclair came out to chat and the creativity of the dishes off the scale. Jellied Saterne in the chicken liver pate- brilliant.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere being able to view the city lights at night and all the fireplaces to sit by where elegant the food was amazing I couldn’t get enough service was even better
I ordered the Black Mesa and LVL5 salad. The black Mesa has good balance between the bourbon and sweetness. It's sweet, but not overpoweringly sweet. I like how refreshing it is. I'd definitely recommend it. The salad was a bit tart for my liking, but not bad. If there were 1/3 less dressing, I'd enjoy it a lot more. Service was amazing.
an exceptional meal. ambitiously beautiful product and plating. innovative recipes that still deliver on taste. this is on par with the very best restaurants in nyc or LA. kudos. wish i could stay another night to try the rest of the menu.
My date and I had an amazing experience at Level 5. The food was outstanding, The ambience was relaxing and comfortable, and the service was attentive and friendly. We look forward to coming back on our next visit to Albuquerque.
We had an amazing experience at Level 5! The views and atmosphere were incredible. Service was great! Food was outstanding! The wings were out of this world and easily the best we've ever eaten- by far. The chile lacquer was an absolutely amazing mix of sweet and hot. The smoked beef rib was perfectly tender and the poblano tlacoyo had amazing flavor and presentation. We highly recommend this restaurant and we'll be back for sure!
The food menu was limited, but featured seasonal vegetables and everything was very fresh. The variety of flavor in each dish was very palatable and had a good level of spice! I had the half chicken, and liked that each bite featured a new flavor combination. My husband had the red chile ribs, and they were very tender. The server was very nice and professional. I will definitely come back!
Great cocktail menu, delicious food, and amazing views!! A perfect place to grab a drink or a great meal and catch up - it’s not too noisy and the vibe is great. The restaurant has the most beautiful large windows so you can look over the mountains and out to the sky as it changes over to night. The dishes are a decent serving, and I loved what I had! A fun dessert is always appreciated, so their spin on a baked Alaska with the 'Baked New Mexico' was delicious.
Did not try the food, however the drinks were made fast and made very well. Atmosphere is relaxing and the scenery at sunset is incredible.
Very cute place for dinner and appetizers. Atmosphere is unmatched, beautiful panoramic views of Albuquerque <3
All around great experience other than the hostess not being warm or welcoming. The other staff and servers were great. Can't beat the view or the food. Would definitely come back for dinner or happy hour. Edit from June 2025: A friend and I came to Level 5 to celebrate my birthday with dessert, and it did not disappoint! The staff was, as always, super friendly and welcoming. We shared the Chocolate and Strawberry Mousse and the Sorbet Trio—both were absolutely delicious! My friend loved them so much she wanted to take some home. The views at Level 5 are always stunning. We would’ve sat outside, but it was a bit too hot, so we’ll definitely plan for a patio spot next time in the shade. Also, a big thank you to Chef Sean for the thoughtful table hook for my purse— good looking out!
Came her for the 1st time and this restaurant is located on the top of Hotel Chaco. You will access by going into hotel Chaco and taking elevator to 5th floor. This is a really nice restaurant, which means the prices are going to be pretty high also. We were seated right away our server brought us water then disappeared. We asked another severing they could call ours as we were ready to order and she said she would however 15 min later still no server. We got frustrated and we requested a supervisor. Supervisor was very apologetic and got us a new server immediately and offering to provide us with a complimentary appetizer. At this time it was about 40 min we hadn't been helped however the supervisor was great she kept an eye on us the remaining of our time making sure we were satisfied with the taste of our food and service. She recommend the Quail Adovada Ravioli so we decided to go with her suggestion and WOW..it was amazing. So rich with flavor and creamy with crunchy tortilla strips on top for that extra crunch. I would order again and recommend. We also ordered an appetizer of avocado hummus and Artisanal Characuterie (cheese and meat) plate which was yummy as well. Even though our 1st experience here did not start great the management stepped in and made it right. Thank you. I would recommend trying this restaurant..if not for the food the drinks are great also and you can't beat the beautiful view especially at night.
beautiful restaurant with rooftop view. Pork Chop Entree was memorable and nicely cooked and tasty. Large Beef Rib was nicely cooked but not particularly rich in flavor. Service pushed overly expensive bottles when moderate options were available, our table rocked badly and no one bothered to fix it. The host totally ignored us when we checked for at least 10 minutes and no one else acknowledged our presence. In the end, food was very good, service needs a lot of training to up their game. Note the chef is a James Beard finalist this year.
We came here for my friend's engagement celebration the evening after he proposed. We took a while taking pictures before we ordered because the view was honestly pretty great up top of the building. We got up there just after sunrises and it was a very nice overlook. Our server was super friendly and kind, taking care of us and making recommendations. I ordered the charcuterie board as an appetizer and it was great! I ordered the ribs as my entree and honestly I wasn't impressed, they were too sweet for my liking and on top of a bed of what just felt like ramen noodles. My friends ordered the steaks and the server recommended they be medium and my friends wanted medium rare but when they got them they were definitely overcooked. The ambience and experience was nice but I'd definitely say that the prices were steep for what it was. I don't know that I'd really go back because you could maybe get better consistency elsewhere but if you want a cool view on a quick trip, then I'd give them a chance. The desserts were great and most of the appetizers were as well, however, none of the entrees truly impressed.
I saw a review here, written since our visit, that said there's a new chef and it feels like a different place. So I am basing this review on a visit on 8/30/2020. Yes, it's expensive. This is a nice place and that should be expected. And the views are great! The charcuterie plate was sparse but tasty. We were staying at the hotel, so of course we wanted to go up to the restaurant with the good views and at least have a drink. At the hostess station, as we were trying to get in, we were told that it had just rained so they couldn't seat us outside. I don't know if it was going to take a long time to wipe some chairs and a table?... they weren't that busy. So instead of offering to seat us under the roof, where tables were available, their first suggestion was that we should get room service since we were staying at the hotel. Since that option defeated the purpose of wanting the view, we said we would wait. It was only then that they said they could seat us under the roof. Still a pretty decent view and our server was pretty good. Just not the kind of hostess a restaurant like that should have.
I’d say overall, it tries but falls short. The food was good and the cocktails were tasty. The view was certainly exceptional and the highlight. The service was disappointing. We couldn’t get refills on our water so we had to go to the bar. Our appetizer came out with our entree. The server indicated he’d came tell us about desserts mid way through our meal but we found ourselves trying to track him down long after our meal ended to learn about desserts mid way options. It certainly wasn’t the worst experience I’ve had in a restaurant but I felt like it missed the mark it was trying to hit.
Went for brunch for my SIL birthday. The view is great. The service was lacking. Took us a few minutes to be seated even though there was hardly anyone there. Our drinks took a while and our food took even longer, the people next to us who were seated after got their food before. I got the salmon toast which was okay, the bread was soggy and my plate was missing tomatoes and I had to ask for them three separate times before they told me they were out. My SIL ordered the grits but she didn't like how runny they were so sent them back. I had to ask for my water to be filled. After our food was boxed we had to wait about 10 min for the check. All of these are small problems that eventually added up and defined our experience. Would not recommend for the price.
This was a cool place however the food was very overpriced for what it was. We got the macaw cocktails which were very pretty but not very strong and could do with some fresh citrus. The appetizer we got the liver plate which was essentially canned liver, gelatin, and mustard for $17 is crazy work. Entrées were the halibut and the pheasant pasta, both were very salty, a small amount of food. The halibut served with maybe two small Yukon potatoes. Could have done a better job explaining the menu and providing recommendations. The way to get our order taken was around 30 to 45 minutes and we were not checked on throughout the night. Overall, this experience was not something we would recommend.
Beautiful setting. Fire pits, lovely view of the city. Servers were friendly but service was lacking. We ordered an appetizer (Burrata) and two cocktails. We received our appetizer within minutes. We watched while our cocktails were placed on the bar - where they sat for over 20 minutes. Appetizers and water - just - don’t - cut it. After we finished our appetizer, I walked over to the bar to retrieve our drinks. *Very disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber.
I was so excited to go to this lovely restaurant for my birthday. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Nowhere on the menu does it advise that customers should let the staff know about allergies. My friend who has a dairy allergy ordered a dish that included "potato puree". As English is his third language, he looked up the definition of puree. The definition did not include mention of added milk to which he is severely allergic, so he ordered this dish. When it arrived, he saw that the potatoes were soft and white, and immediately asked if it contained milk, and was told that it did. We asked to have the potatoes washed off the pork so that he could eat it. We were told that was not possible, but that they would redo the dish without the potato puree, for which we would have to pay another $58. The server was rude while explaining this. We would have also had to wait for the redo while the other two members of the party who had already been served would have to go ahead and eat. Unfortunately, the two other people did not enjoy eating the meal without the third person and with the unpleasantness of the rudeness of the server. In my opinion, a costly restaurant with a reputation of being excellent should of course have a note about informing the waitstaff of an allergy. This restaurant used to be one of my favorite local places to eat. I will certainly never go there again. And I am spreading the word to my friends. Paying the $250 for dinner for 3 was such an insult and a disappointment.
We were regulars at Level 5 for a few years, and our experience used to be always positive. Brunch, drinks, the view. That is why we were excited to spend our Christmas Eve there, and have a romantic dinner together. We ordered the prime rib with high hopes, but what we got was a small piece of blubbering fat that was very difficult for my wife to chew. Before getting the beef, we asked the waitress if the meat was tender, and she said yes. The menu did not reflect the price of the dish , but since we have been at Level 5 before, we knew it is high end, and we are used to pay for a good quality dinner. The piece of fatty meat we got was almost 100 dollars. We left disappointed, because our romantic Christmas dinner was not up to expectations. Piece of advice: if you order meat, or any other dish, and it is not to your satisfaction, call the manager immediately and send it back. It was our mistake to try to finish our dinner and avoid a scene. We paid reluctantly, and eventually complained with the manager. We hate to give bad reviews to a place that used to be very dear to us. We don't know if we will be back. Learn from our mistake.
I visited Hotel Chaco and had a really disappointing experience. We ordered the pistachio tres leches cake and spring water, but the glasses had a strong egg/fish smell, which was immediately off-putting. The cake itself was dry, so we asked for a remake. Instead of making a new one, they brought back the exact same cake and told us the chef “added more sauce.” It was clear they weren’t taking our concerns seriously, and the quality was still poor. For a place with such a good reputation, this was really disappointing.
I had a bad experience tonight with my Christmas Eve dinner. I asked about the beef before order, the waitress told me it was tender and easy to chew. I asked because I have difficulty chewing, but it was not tender at all. I was very upset and disappointed because in the menú there was not showing the price of the beef. We are regular customers of this place and we have no problem paying for a good food and service. But this time was ridiculous to pay $95 for a piece of meet that I couldn’t eat. And the manager did not really help us as I expected. Honestly I don’t think we will come back to this place, I do not recommend it anymore.
Level 5 used to be a nice restaurant with good food and drinks. Now that there is a new chef the menu is awful. Went there on 12/14 and was so disappointed! Unfortunately, they rolled out the new menu during this weekend. The photos in the reviews earlier this month are from the old menu. The new menu food was blah, very small portions, and expensive. We overheard one of the wait staff say management didn't even try the new chef's menu. Big mistake if that is true. The craft cocktail menu was way too weird also. I think the new chef believes he is in Italy somewhere, but if he was he'd be laughed out of town. I'd say Level 5 will be loosing dining business now. People will still come for a rooftop cocktail, but will dine somewhere else. Sad...just sad
