GET THE BOUJEE BURGER! I mean guys.. it was so incredible! The arugula on top of melted brie paired so nicely with the Angus patty and fig jam. The Dirty Burger was massive and had layers and layers of flavor. Our waiter also provided incredible service, he was very attentive and knew the menu well.
I had a Sunday brunch with friends the drinks and food were great most of the young ladies service was impeccable. It was my first time there.
First time here was amazing! The service was very professional and the food was 10/10. I ordered a Dirty Burger which is a homemade patty with Chile con Queso, bacon, fried onions and a fried egg on top, some sweet potato fried and also I ordered a Yeti stout and was delicious. If you are in town you should come and give it a chance you would not regret it.
This place is absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend it. I ordered the chef salad, and it was so flavorful. My mom ordered the chefs special sirloin (not on the menu) I’m including a picture of it. They also have items for kids! Really great wine list and an amazing staff. We might have to come back again before we go back home.
Great place to have cool down. Great drinks. The food on point. Definitely try the dirty burger ! Nachos are the best. Staff was the best
Excellent food for very reasonable prices. I highly recommend the steak salad and/ or the mango habenero buffalo wings. Service and the drinks are fantastic as well!
Great food. Absolutely amazing view. Be ready to wait for your drink and food though.
Best rotating beer list in town. Great food. Amazing service & atmosphere.
Amazing food and great prices for the area. Highly recommended.
Nob Hill B&G consistently delivers high caliber cusine with attentive service. I live in southeast NM come but when I'm in town I come here for the food, primarily seafood. I've lived in many big cities and this restaurant keeps up with a standard of service expected in high-caliber restaurants in downtown major metro areas. You will be happy, it's not overpriced.
We really enjoyed our visit! We went before a Popejoy show (they offer 10% off for day-of show patrons). The food was great, the service was friendly, and it's in a perfect location. The happy hour specials were a nice perk. We will definitely be going again!
I had a great lunch experience here today! The place, firstly, is very stylish but not pretentious! The menu was easy to navigate and had great options that I think would groove with anyone’s palette. Also, if you’re looking for good drinks the bar is drink menu is so 👌🏼! The spirits are top-notch so you’re getting all the bang for your buck. I recommend the Smash Burger & cheesecake, they’re phenomenal. It’s perfect for casual dining and a fun date night, all the excuses to come back for more. So glad this new sweet spot exists!
A dear friend and I have been coming here for years because we had a favorite bartender who, unfortunately, is no longer here. Two weeks ago we had the worst service I've ever experienced, we walked out. After a little persuasion, we decided to return and were pleased. There was a different bartender, Steven, and he was awesome! The service was prompt, polite and it's totally resurrected my experience of this place. I'm glad he was able to restore faith in one of my go-to hangouts.
Nice atmosphere. Had the boujee burger, waffle fries, an Odell 90 shilling, a Bible Belt Stout sample, and the bread pudding. All of it was excellent. The staff was nice. Couldn't ask for more. Had a great time.
A classy place that not only serves good food and good vibes but also turns into a nightclub after-hours. We were seated there with a wonderful waitress who is very attentive and the food was served fresh and fast with attention to detail almost to the point of being chic. Would highly recommend for a family or younger couple out on the town.
Great service and environment. I love the fish tank and the unique lighting. They have kareoke now also! I had the veggie burger and it was fantastic but pretty messy. The beer selection is diverse and quality, it seems as if they do put work into curating it. I'm also impressed by their liquor selection. Great place, but it turns clubby after 9ish on the weekends.
The smash burger and shrimp tacos made time come to a complete stop. So flavorful and unique! Thank you for making such amazing food! The service was just as anazing. Keep it up.
I decided to check out this place on Christmas Eve because they were the only place open nearby. The bartenders were great despite us being the only customers at first. A few more people rolled in and we ended up getting a game of Cards Against Humanity going. I actually took a my lady friend here and it was a great way to spend Christmas Eve, met some great people and had fun.
Upscale dining with a list of carefulky crafted select dishes. Great, quiet atmosphere, outdoor dining, fantastic attention and kindness from the very knowledgeable waiting staff (take their suggestions, they know!), and a great selection of beers. Ideal for taking a date out.
First visit, food was outstanding as was the service. Prices seemed fair for the quality provided. Servers were super courteous. In all fairness, it was a Tuesday night and only 3 or 4 tables occupied. Got a coupon for half off brunch and asked if served during the week since expiration date was 3 days later on Friday and we thought brunch was a weekend thing. Server got confused and said to come on weekend and they would "probably" honor it. I would have preferred she ask a manager and provided a solid answer.
My buddy raved about a meatloaf he had on Central some years ago, after scouring the avenue for the restaurant we found it! His meatloaf was beautiful, the mushroom-fig bruschetta was delightful, the dips in the chip appetizer were tasty. Only downside was my burger seemed a little outclassed by the other menu items; a tad over priced in my opinion, hence the 4/5 stars.
Always good in my experience with a great selection of rotating beers on draught. Can be a bit pricey but you pay for the location. Plus I like that almost every time I'm there, 90s/00s era trip hop is being played.
The apple Brie sandwich entre is a good value, you get a full sandwich with soup and salad. The calamari is good but not exceptional. The duck confit fries was good though I wasn't that big of a fan of the sauce. Even though it was in the middle of the day and barely any people, we got great service.
Really delicious food and very crafty cocktails. The service was terribly slow, including the kitchen. But everybody was immensely friendly. The vibe is very sleek, hip and modern.
Awesome place for food and drinks! Great atmosphere and the staff is very attentive. Would highly recommend for a relaxing drink or full dinner.
Chill spot, beer, and good brunch! I’m sure it’s crazy here on a Friday or a Saturday night.
So my friends and I came here to play Geeks who Drink and it was really fun!! I’ve been to this establishment before and have always been impressed with the food. Their beer selection contains a lot of great beers from neighboring states which I think is really cool. I strongly recommend any of their burgers or the meatloaf! Ahhh, just typing this is making me hungry. Oh, apparently after like 10 or 11pm on weekends this becomes a club type thing which I wasn’t aware of. I’ve heard good things but have never been here for that. Overall, great place! Friendly staff and amazing food....
Excellent! The food was superb. We had prosciutto wrapped jumbo scallops and the house salad. Both were very good. The salad was large enough for the two of us to share. The service was good but could be excellent if the waiter offered us the fresh, cracked pepper every time instead of us having to ask for it for each course once we learned of its existence.
Spring has sprung and the outdoor patio is open for business! Always a pleasure to dine with friends and family at Nob Hill Bar & Grill, especially a great lunch out on that patio. If you like a good salad, the Wedge Chicken Salad is for you. Several choices of dressings make it even better (lemon basil, please!). Scallops for dinner are excellent. Staff is generally friendly and polite. Only once was I underwhelmed by our server, other than that, never had an issue with anything there be it food or people. Enjoy!
I love playing Geeks Who Drink here. Wide range of beer. I prefer the 90 Shillings. Food could be better. I've tried multiple items on the menu and I always have one issue or another. I keep hoping to find something I love. Good atmosphere though. The bar tables are a bit uncomfortable for sitting for long periods of time (like during trivia).
I always love what I order here - tomato soup and grilled cheese. They make a homemade veggie burger that remains my husband's favorite. Nice ambiance. My only complaint is that getting seated is usually a hectic experience.
This is a frequent spot for me to get lunch, dinner, or superb craft beer. I usually sit at the bar, as the table service can be inconsistent. Sometimes the beers are a bit expensive, but it’s often because they are rare finds that cost a lot to brew. The food is often good, but again somewhat pricey. Go for happy hour and sit at the bar, and things should be fine.
This is the place I come when I'm tired of the local brewery beers. Sometime you crave something else besides IPA's or a kettle sour...which none of the breweries here in Albuquerque have mastered yet. Nob Hill bar and grill has a great list of craft beers NOT made in NM. like Stone's imperial stout, or Prairie's imperial stout..thank you for having these types of beers. Food is great too, any of their burgers are awesome!! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is wait staff was slow. Sometimes you get stuck in a rut, and you show up to the same local brewery so many times you have a beer waiting for you as soon as you walk in the door, Nob Hill B&G is a welcome change.
Not gonna lie, I was hoping to love it. We live close by and after being thoroughly disappointed with the quality of food at Zinc’s, I was hoping this would become our place. Everything I tasted was just meh. My husband enjoyed his stuffed meatloaf but commented that he wouldn’t order it again. Seems like a great place for drinks, but it certainly wouldn’t be the first place I’d recommend to visitors.
New ownership has reinvigorated this old favorite. The ambiance is great and the menu worth exploring. We had the bruschetta and the pate and thought both were fantastic, though I hope as they settle in to their rhythm here they will move away from seed bread and store bought crackers.
The food is okay. The house sparkling and the margaritas are decent. Waitress forgot what we ordered when we were the only people there around lunch time. The food, drinks, and service are better at matanza. Just go ahead and cross the street.
Just finished our lunch...excellent decor and great service. Food DID NOT meet the atmosphere. We ordered the smoked wings and a side salad....folks is you screw up your apps I can't imagine what your entree taste like!! Zero flavor, liquid smoke, discolored, and off-putting....you should really tell someone you don't use DON'T use a smoker, rather an after tasting generic liquid-NOT APPEALING!!! To add insult to injury...the restaurant added gratuity to the bill, and then asked for an additional gratuity on the printed reciept...what joke, might be a nice place to hang out for a drink, BUT I will never eat there again!!! My rating only reflect's the decor, without it, my rating would be in the negative ranks!!
Their bouncers are dishonest and untrustworthy even if you're sober and being reasonable. The layout of the entire bar is off and the drinks are a little over priced for what they are. The rest of the staff is pretty friendly and helpful however the bouncer took my girlfriends debit card when she lost her ID and bought himself a drink.
I have been to this place on numerous occasions trying to give it the benefit of the doubt. Their food was very mediocre the one time I ate at this place. What saddens me is the club part of the night. There is a lot of young people a lot of college students that go there so that's why I come forward for the entertainment for the nightclub part of it but as an African American woman I do not feel very welcomed. And every occasion that I have been here I have always waited 20 to 30 minutes and the bartender will look at me knowing that I would like a drink and would always get someone else. I feel like scum every single time I go here. The only person that even she says with any type of decency is the girl bartender that works at night.
Ate at the bar. The bartop was never wiped clean after the previous guest. My flatware was set down on the dirty bartop. The bar didn't seem that busy but the service was exceptionally slow and inattentive. My water was never refilled and I ran out 1/3 of the way through my meal. The server set my food in front of me without even looking at me. I eventually had to ask for a steak knife to cut the steak. My food lacked flavor. It was not bad in the sense of rotting or food poisoning (that I know of. yet.) but it was really not good. I chose Nob Hill Bar & Grill because descriptions of it online (I know!) called it "fancy" and claimed it was one of the best craft cocktail places in town. Neither of those are remotely accurate. The atmosphere at 6:30 p.m. was drunken, obnoxious, and noisy. The spirits selection was remarkably conventional and uninteresting and all the of patrons I saw were ordering things like a shot of tequila or Jack and Coke. They do have a cocktail menu but no one seemed to order from it. If Nob Hill had aspirations of being a classy craft cocktail place they must feel very sad. I enthusiastically recommend going elsewhere for decent food and cocktails.
Food was really good. Cocktails were great. Service was very slow, the food took almost an hour and we didn't see our server for at least 45 minutes. Yet she still felt justified in adding a 20% gratuity. Overall not a terrible experience, but for the price we expected more.
Nice enough looking spot, and I’m sure their food would have been fine, but my wife and I could not get over the disgusting smell from behind the bar! I don’t know how management would allow a bar to smell that bad! Instead of masking it with ammonia cleaners, how about pulling out the coolers and addressing the problem. Also, its about time you have your taps professionally cleaned because my Double White Ale by Marble tasted more like a sour than a Belgian inspired wheat ale.
I absolutely love this place. But, some friends and I went to geeks who drink and the service was awful. I had friends from out of town and was trying to show them a fun and good night. The bartender was very slow and cut us off after one drink for some untold reason. Stephan told us that we were "showing signs of impairment." It was very unfortunate , because the table right next to us was loud and raucous (and still got served the entire night). We were just trying to have a good time and it was very unfair of the bartender to single our table out. I will never be returning to this establishment because of the poor service.
first our water was soapy, it took too much time to bring out hot water for tea. menu was not the same after the renovation with few options. 4 out of 5 plates were brought out because there was a fire in the oven and only took off half price. manager was friendly but only because they were recording him for a show or something. food was decent but overpriced. very disappointed!
Service is usually a hit or miss. I went the other night and my fries were hard and my burger was pink. Maybe it’s new servers and new cooks but management needs to train everyone better. I love coming here but the last few times the service and food sucked.
Party of 13 took an hour plus to get our food. Because we were a large party we expected a wait but it was ridiculous. Found out why when we got the bill, large parties are charged 20 percent tip, so don't expect good service, several 6 top tables that came after us were served and left before we got our food. Food okay, but hard to swallow with such bad service. Had to get our own water, and silverware for people at our table. I tried to call the restaurant, later to complain but got the fax machine.
I dislike writing bad reviews. Especially when it’s a place I had enjoyed before. This was like being told that they weren’t interested in my business. It was during Summerfest. We had just closed our Nob Hill business after 12 long customer service hours. My wife wanted a dessert, she chose Sorbet, that they were out of. So, she decided to get festive and ordered an Espresso Martini. The waitress came back, apologetically, and stated the bartenders were to busy to make it!! That’s a great way to keep clientele! My wife ordered a replacement again, but I decided they really didn’t want our business and WE LEFT!! I hope the management reads this!
My order was decent, but my friend’s water was soapy and disgusting. My other friend ordered tea and the fried chicken, got the hot water 15 minutes later, and the chicken was done when everyone was already done eating. The menu is over priced and just bad service as the restaurant was nearly empty. Even feeling a little sick after eating the shrimp tacos.
I’m so disappointed with the new ownership. This place is terrible now! The new menu is small and overpriced. Ordered the Shrimp tacos. Was told they were out of avocado. The tortillas were cold, the shrimp was burnt and the slaw was super acidic. My partner ordered the burger and said “for a $20 burger it should have had some flavor to it.” Guess we’ll have to find a new date night spot.
The waiter was good until.... The food was gross, had the fish and chips. No flavor and rubbery. The fries were disgusting too and rubberry. We ate here paid and left extremely disappointed in the meal. My dad was still hungry. Until....continued: We told the waiter we werent happy with the food and he just kind of stood there awkwardly and didnt offer anything different. There was blonde woman there that kept asking us if we were done with our stuff, which is normal but it was almost demanding. She never said hi and her tone was not rude but far from friendly, hard to explain. Never coming back again. Too expensive for the quality of food. If you want good food like a burger go to b2b down the street. If you want fish and chips go to two fools. Avoid this place at all cost. Save your money. The aquarium was cool though.
