The place is a great place always clean, and the employees are always happy to see the customer.I got to try the Nashville hot cauliflower tacos. They are soo good. Also, the chips with Queso and the Elote with chips are very good. And the Brisket nachos the regular kick az. Unless you a great eater get your self the Brisket Nachos- Large BAD Az. But the VERY BEST is the CHIMICHURRI STEAK TACO* That is soo freaking good. It's Grilled flank steak, buttered cilantro basmati rice, chimichurri, avocado pickled Fresno, queso fresco, cilantro, all in a flour tortilla.All I can advice is eat it sloooow. It's so super good. Ohhh and for a sweet tooth gotta, try the House Made RED VELVET CAKE, cream cheese frosting, and that CAJETA DRIZZLE😋 Your mouth gonna love it! So go hit up Your Nearest Velvet Taco you will not regret.

Tried the veggie bowl and paneer tacos and both were packed with flavor. The bowl had a great mix of textures, and the tacos were fresh with just the right kick. A fun, casual spot with solid vegetarian options.

You cannot tell me the smash burg taco doesn’t tastes like a Big Mac. Thankfully they accommodated with no bacon and no pickles. I loved every bite. Piping hot and fresh ingredients made for a solid appetizer to my ufc watch party.

The fun looking building on the outside is exactly how fun it feels and looks on the inside. The vibe and energy is very fun here. The tacos are tasty! I tried the Mexi-Cali taco and loved it. I also had the Quesa Birria Duo, but it wasn’t my favorite. It was good, but probably not what I would get when I visit next time. Our table also ordered the Dip Trio and all of it was delicious. Don’t forget to try the velvet cake. The cream cheese frosting is perfect! Make sure to try a marg with Tajín as well!

I tried the spicy tikka chicken and the mexi cali shrimp tacos with a side of queso. Great fresh flavor all around. Frozen margarita was very good with real lime. I went back to the counter for a slice of cake to go. I used to be a red velvet fan, now I am a velvet taco red velvet fan. I hope they open one in St Louis soon.

I've been to most of the velvet tacos in the area this one was a little difficult to get to. I'm told because they are new gps has some issues. So if you see the Cabela's they are directly across from them. Super friendly staff and everything was made correctly 😀. I'm including some location pics so you can get an idea on the location. I had to backtrack through the Target parking lot. I think if I would have known it was inside the shopping village I'd got here easier. I went down 190 to 75n on right side. I'll probably delete this review as more time goes by. Certainly worth the wait 😋

Cool little place with a ton of taco options. 4-5 vegetarian options too. We tried different tacos and some were better than the others. Brisket taco was amazing. Crisp and juicy brisket in the taco. Chicken and waffle was interesting but the taste just didn't cut it. On the other extreme, the Cuban pork was disappointing. Just cold cuts in a taco. Service was pretty fast considering the constant stream of customers.

I'm always a fan of Velvet Taco for the various vegetarian options they provide. I am sure their meat tacos are tasty, too. The place is well maintained with plenty of parking lots. Has a maximum occupancy of 86 people and also has a separate outdoor seating. During peak hours, the restaurant is moderately crowded and has a good vibe. The staff members are polite, quick, and always to be found round. The tables get regularly cleaned.

Velvet Taco is S-tier The atmosphere is fast/casual hangout. All of the tacos are delicious and there is an eclectic selection of menu options. They also have margaritas, ranch water, and beers as well as Jarritos sodas! The Cuban taco is so good Oh and absolutely order the red curry queso!

Met up with my realtor here for a quick bite. I had seen this place being built while on my many trips to the neighboring Target and finally got to visit, and this place did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the experience was seamless. Ordering was straightforward, the staff was welcoming, and our food arrived promptly — piping hot, fresh, and utterly satisfying. I also couldn’t resist trying their margaritas (twice!), and they certainly delivered a delightful buzz. Bonus points for being vegan- and vegetarian-friendly, making it a great option for a variety of dietary preferences. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance: upbeat and lively, yet with music at just the right volume so you can still hold a conversation without shouting. The playlist added to the overall vibe without overwhelming it. What really sets this place apart is their creative take on tacos — fun, inventive, and packed with flavor. The space itself is immaculate, the energy is infectious, and I appreciated thoughtful touches like the drive-thru and a dog-friendly patio. If you’re looking for a casual spot that hits all the right notes — great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere — this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

A bit pricey. Combo helps offset cost. Surprisingly the shrimp taco and chicken Tikka taco were best. For sides, the red curry queso wasn't that great-- the basic guac was not bad. Both sides came with blue chips.

This is our first time trying the food at this place; we’ve previously had margaritas. We got there in the evening and it wasn’t overly busy. We ordered several different items: - Classic guacamole (not pictured): this was as expected and had good flavor. - Crispy tots & egg: the highlights of this consist of how crispy the tots were and how perfectly sunny side up the egg was. However, it stops there. The goat cheese is a hard pass. It doesn’t complement any of the other flavors and overpowers the crema or bacon. - Queso: was as expected and enjoyed by the whole table. - Brisket nachos: these were one of the better options we ordered, but were average. Nothing was great, flavor wise. - Mexi-cali shrimp taco: this was probably the best taco of all that we ordered. It was pleasant and paired well with the sriracha aioli. Could’ve dealt without the corn pico. - Chicken & waffle: I’m a sucker for this on any menu, but wish I never ordered this. The waffle taco was so soft and spongy; the exact opposite of what you’d want a taco vessel to be. They did too much with this; the taco was sweet, but the taco had a gravy and peppered bacon. It was a mess, both literally and flavor wise. - Rotisserie chicken: the chicken had a sweeter flavor and overall, didn’t go well with the accompaniments. Overall, the use of the roasted corn pico was excessive and the flavor profiles of quite a few items we ordered, just didn’t work. Plus I dislike that they don’t have plates. If a table is sharing nachos or the tots, you’re screwed unless you’re sitting right next to the item. I’ve heard others rave about this place, but unfortunately I won’t be returning.
