Great restaurant ! We had an amazing dinner couldn't have been better thanks to Sam our server for providing us a with such a great service and a Big Thanks To Marshad for taking care of Us and making Her Birthday soo special !!

It was our anniversary and we could not think of a better place to celebrate our 25 years together than at Oak Steakhouse. The food is excellent and the staff is amazing! We want to thank the whole staff and especially the GM Rob, Christine, Andrew, Chloe and Debbie for making sure our evening was extra special! We look forward to our next visit and highly recommend Oak Steakhouse for all your dining needs :-)

What a spot! A beautiful restaurant and absolutely amazing service! Would highly recommend asking for Bob as well as trying the Pork Belly, Lobster Mac and Cheese and the Carpaccio!! Also if you’re able to, save room for the dessert; it was incredible! Thanks again Bob for making my birthday dinner so special!!!!

My wife and I don’t eat out much—we’re usually disappointed with the food or service, especially for the price. But we wanted to do something special for her milestone birthday and decided to take a chance on Oak Steakhouse. We’re SO glad we did. From the moment we walked in, they made the night feel special. Our table was reserved with a personalized birthday card signed by the staff—such a thoughtful touch. Our server, Kenneth, was amazing. Super friendly and honest with his recommendations. We got the pork chop (absolutely incredible), plus the mac and cheese and collard greens—everything was delicious. Hands down the best meal we’ve had dining out, no exaggeration. Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff made us feel like we were the only ones there. To top it off, Kenneth surprised my wife with a tray of birthday desserts on the house. Every one of them was amazing. The cost of the meal for the average person is not cheap, we spent over $150 total, but when I tell you it was well worth it with the amount and quality of food, service and overall experience, it's an understatement. I've never felt more justified spending that amount of money in a restaurant ever. Huge thanks to Kenneth and the whole Oak team. You made my wife’s birthday unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

We went to The Oak for our anniversary and Sam took such great care of us. The food was delicious as usual. I had the salmon special and my husband had a ribeye that he could have cut with a butter knife. The postcard wishing us a Happy Anniversary and the dessert with a Happy Anniversary was such a thoughtful gesture as well as all of the things Sam did to make it a memorable dinner.

We have visited Oak several times and always love it. Tonight, we ate outside for the first time and it was an even more relaxing and pleasant experience. Our waiter was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable… as always. The food was phenomenal. It’s such a special place. You definitely need a reservation and you may wait a little even with one but it’s worth it.

The truffle fries are some of the best I have had. The filet and asparagus were delicious also. Our wait person was friendly and helpful with food choices.

What a find!. First Cassandra, our Server, was amazing. It was my daughter's 37th birthday and her Mother, Myself, and her girlfriend picked the Oak out a bit by accident. That said, everything we had was outstanding. I had their aged ribeye and it was as advertised. The staff went to extraordinary efforts to make my daughter's dinner out special. From out menus having her name on them, to the special visit from their renowned pastry chef - she made a special tray of her signature deserts and they were fantastic. I will say we took the high side of the menu, with no regrets. That said there were plenty of offerings that looked very good and were what you would expect from a tier e restaurant, but very reasonable. The Oak Steakhouse is a real treasure. I'll be going back for sure.

This experience was ABOVE AND BEYOND. The ribeye steak was out of this world. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered some good recommendations. It was my wife's birthday and they came up with a super nice gesture to make her feel special to celebrate her day.

Fabulous. If you’re thinking of another steakhouse on Old Milton or State Bridge in Alpharetta (same road) just don’t waste your time. This is the place to go. Romantic, family friendly for kids with manners, business dinner spot. Surprisingly, was my first time. Family in town special people together 4 adults, a minor, and an adult kid. Everybody loved everything they had. Most had steak, some fish, and some salad. Everything was great. Service was awesome and attentive. Cocktails and wine selection were great. You know obviously they’ve had some great reviews in the past as a staple and at Avalon, but clearly they never let it get to their head. They treat their guests with respect from the hostess when you enter and even before that confirming reservations earlier in the day, the main waiter, and the staff. Highly recommend. The food is awesome, but the staff is too. Obviously great ambience as well for a perk.

My wife and I ate here last night and we were absolutely blown away. To start the service was impeccable, Tommy did a great job and was super nice and attentive. The food was out of the world! The scallops were cooked perfectly, we shared a bone in filet that was cooked perfectly and delicious. And the cocktails were delicious as well! Tommy brought out a dessert on the house for my birthday that was amazing as well, and i’m not a big dessert person! Definitely recommend and will be back!

I’ve been to Oak many times since its opening. It’s always been a great place to eat, wonderful flavorful steaks. Great menu, relaxed yet very nice atmosphere. We have brought our kids many times for a nice dinner celebration. Most recently we were there for my daughter’s birthday, the staff went above and beyond to make her feel special without making a huge embarrassing fuss. My oldest has a severe tree nut allergy, they have always been able to accommodate it with zero issues. Even their bread is safe since, which is extremely rare since bakery items are almost always cross contaminated. When dessert time came for the birthday girl they brought out this wonderful spread for us of most the items in the menu servers on a beautiful wood plank. But that’s not what was extra special. It was all NUT FREE! I can’t remember the last time my allergic son could eat BOTH the bread and every dessert on the menu! I think he was happier than the birthday girl! Major props to their pastry chef, I can’t thank her enough!!! Thanks Oak for making that such a special occasion!

I booked a reservation for my wife and I celebrating our 10 year anniversary. This was our first time dining here and this place is beyond words. We were sat at our table and we had a card signed by the staff and a small vase with a mini bouquet of roses with a small card telling us happy anniversary. Our server David was phenomenal. The meal was timed out perfectly you weren’t rushed to finish anything. The food was absolutely amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would. We have never had any service that comes close to this place and this will be our spot for special occasions!

I had such a lovely evening with my family tonight, we went in to celebrate me embarking on my entrepreneurial journey. Food was amazing, ambience was just right and the service was immaculate. Saji was our server tonight and he made sure of experience was one to remember for such an important night. We will definitely be back! (They also have zero proof champagne & mocktail options, which was a perfect touch to the night, especially since I'm a nursing mom but still wanted a celebratory bubbly) . Thank you Oak !

Do you want to meet an angel? Meet mo at oak steakhouse. Service with heart. He wanted to be there, and you can tell how much of a difference it makes once you experience it yourself. Me and my girlfriend decided to treat our selves that night and the manager Mark made sure of it. They made us feel like we deserved it. Executive chef danillo and Executive sous chef Edgar are creating magic and memories with the food they’re presenting. Food with intention. Highly recommend.

We hosted our elopement dinner here and it was absolutely perfect. The service was warm and attentive, the atmosphere was intimate and elegant, and every steak was cooked to perfection. Our guests are still talking about how incredible the food and experience were. Truly a special place for a meaningful celebration. Thank you so much for everything Dylan, Taylor and Amir!!! You made our dinner even more special with the amazing service you all provided!!!

Revisited Oak Steakhouse with the family this evening and I will say that the food and service are top notch. We had filets, sea bass, burger, and both salads. For the sides, we experienced the lobster mac and cheese, sweet potato souffle, mashed potatoes, lobster bisque, and creamed corn. Then to top it off, we shared the chocolate cake! Just amazing all the way around. Marchaud is a great manager and the staff was absolutely fantastic. Thank you for a great dining experience!

This is an amazing restaurant. From the wonderful atmosphere, to the delicious menu, it never disappoints. However what stands out the most is definitely the impeccable service my family gets from everyone here, especially Kasandra with her unmatched hospitality and table side manners. I can without a doubt say I’ve never quite had service as great as I have with her. 100 out of 10, 5 stars isn’t enough for this restaurant.

One of the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever had. My steak alone was worth a 5 star review, and everything else we tried was just as impressive. There’s truly no wrong choice on the menu. What really elevates the experience is the service: warm, polished, and genuinely thoughtful. I have a long background across multiple sectors of the hospitality industry and numerous certifications, and I can confidently say what we experienced was a masterclass in hospitality and guest experience. We have been to Oak several times and this was the best experience yet! Everything was top notch! Make sure to ask for Amir as your server. And go see Brett at the bar, he made me the best tasting cocktail I have ever had. The general manager, Mark, stopped by to introduce himself and made sure we were having the best experience possible. I thought this was a great touch. That’s the attention to detail I look for when dining out and he's a big part of the reason why we will be returning.

We had a fantastic dinner at Oak Steakhouse. We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arriving and checking in. Everything we ordered was excellent. The filet with horseradish was tender and perfectly cooked, and the French onion soup had great depth without feeling heavy. The prime NY strip with caramelized shallot was another standout. The sides were just as strong. The beef tallow frites were crisp, the creamed corn was rich and comforting, and the mushrooms were fantastic. The mac and cheese was good, but if we had to choose between the sides we ordered, it's the one we could have skipped. We shared a bottle of Charles Krug that was recommended by our server and paired well with the meal. The ambiance added to the experience. The dining room is dimly lit, with warm stained wood throughout and an open‑kitchen layout. Even with some of the tables set fairly close together, it never felt cramped or intrusive. Our server, David, made the night even better. He was attentive without hovering and offered thoughtful recommendations that ended up being spot‑on. We finished with the maple bourbon crème brûlée and an espresso martini, both of which were excellent. Truly enjoyed the entire experience and would happily return.

Oak Steakhouse was honestly amazing. The food was super good and the atmosphere was very nice and warm. Our server Taylor was great she was really friendly, checked on us a lot, and made sure everything was perfect the whole time. Also shoutout to the manager Mark, he’s a great guy and made us feel welcome. And I gotta give major credit to Rose, our server assistant. She was on top of everything, super polite, and helped make the whole night go smooth.

What a stellar experience thanks to my waiter, Anji. I just put my trust in him to pick my steak, vegetables and desert and everything was delectable! He knows his stuff! The portions were huge so I took leftovers for tomorrow. The dinner rolls to start, came with soft, room temperature butter that made it easy to spread. The steak was perfect medium rare. The asparagus was the right balance of crisp and tender, well seasoned. The mushrooms were the same. He even picked the best desert for my tastes: the warmed apple donuts and vanilla ice cream to finish off the night. The atmosphere and decor is romantic and with a comfortable level of formality. I will be back and next time bring friends and family. Management: give Anji a big raise and a company car. But do not promote him. He's indispensable in the trenches making his mark with the diners.

Absolutely incredible experience at Oak Steakhouse. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was stunning warm, elegant, and perfectly curated for an unforgettable evening. The meal was nothing short of exceptional; every bite was flawless and easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. What truly set the night apart, though, was the service. I can honestly say I have never experienced better service in my life. Our server, Jon-Scott, was beyond knowledgeable and genuinely pleasant, but more than that you could tell he truly cared about our experience. His attention to detail, recommendations, and hospitality elevated the entire evening. We will absolutely be back, and when you go, only ask for Jon-Scott. He made an already incredible restaurant unforgettable.

This was our first time coming to Oak Steakhouse. Atlanta has many options for nice steakhouses, but this may be our new favorite. From the moment we walked in, we were taken care of. Melissa was our waitress, and she was fun, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She checked on us at a perfect cadence and would pick up the conversation where we left it when she was at our table previously, which showed to me that she genuinely cared to offer a great experience. Marshad is the asst GM, and I would go back to this restaurant simply to support him. He was the kindest and most generous manager I have ever witnessed in the F&B industry. He hasn’t been at Oak Steakhouse long, but he has already created an incredible following of his staff. He was on the floor of the restaurant the entire time that we were there, making sure every guest’s experience was top notch. Obviously in the restaurant space things can go wrong occasionally. Reservations can get messed up, food can be slightly off, experiences can be less than expected etc. I personally witnessed Marshad make every single persons dining experience first class. Every issue that appeared to arise, he made it right every time. It goes without saying that the food was incredible, but to me once you are at this price point, the experience itself is what sells the restaurant (the food will always be good). This was our best dining experience that I can remember, and for that alone we will be back. Thanks to Melissa and Marshad for your hospitality!

Oak Steakhouse delivers service that goes the extra mile. My parents were in town for Christmas, and our visit here was more than dinner: the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment, we walked in, we were greeted like family. The hospitality was endless from every member of staff that we encountered. The menu offers diversity of flavors and choices, and each dish was delicious! So grateful I got to share this experience with my family and now my extended family at Oak! Already looking forward to my next visit!

Oak Steakhouse at Avalon continues to be our favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Not only is the food always outstanding, but the service and attention to detail is unmatched. While celebrating a birthday for my father last night, Oak not only had a birthday present and card waiting for us at our table, but also took the time and care to pick out a gift for our three year old son! The entire staff at Oak is amazing. Special thanks to Debbie for arranging our reservation and Kassandra for our impeccable service. Highly recommend!

Our server Austin was incredible!!! He made us feel so attended to all night. He had a great understanding of the menu and built an amazing night for our party. There was one item that the kitchen didn’t deliver to our table and he proceeded to roll out the red carpet and deviled free item after free item. Awesome place and the food was great. Fancy steaks and classy sides.

Kasandra was fabulous! Wonderful service and a fabulous personality! We thoroughly enjoyed talking with her. Marchad is a wonderful manager as well. We celebrated our anniversary and they made our dinner a special experience. It wasn’t our first visit and it won’t be the last!

Tonight my wife and I were shown what a top-notch restaurant does to remain a top-notch restaurant other than preparing an exceptional menu. I made reservations online for Oak Steakhouse in the Avalon for our anniversary later the next week. One of the questions on the form was “Are you celebrating anything special?” I filled in “We are celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary.” The day before our reservation, I received a text from the restaurant asking me to confirm and asking for my wife’s name. I confirmed and I thought nothing of it further. We arrived promptly at our reservation time and were greeted by the hostess who asked our name. After my reply, she lit up, smiled widely and then said, Happy 42nd anniversary!” She then seated us at a table reserved for us with a ‘Happy Anniversary’ card signed by staff members along with a bouquet of red roses! Every staff member that came to assist us at our table made a point to wish us a happy anniversary, including the manager! Our waiter Rob was outstanding. From the moment we sat down he made us feel special with a glass of bubbly on the house. He provided spot on recommendations to our menu options. Then after dinner when we asked for his recommendation between two dessert choices we had narrowed our list to, he said, “how about both, it’s on the house….Happy Anniversary! Many restaurants can prepare and serve good food, but going the extra mile by paying attention to the little things makes all the difference. Thank you Oak Steakhouse and all of your staff, but especially our waiter Rob for the best restaurant experience and creating a memory that will not be forgotten!

I can’t say enough about our experience at Oak. My family and I went for my birthday and we had a fantastic evening. All of the staff were very friendly and our waiter Amir was extremely professional. Mark, the manager made me feel so special with a birthday card from the staff and flowers on our table. Everything we ordered was fantastic, especially the shrimp appetizer. I highly recommend going to Oak.

Everyone was so welcoming and sweet. Our server was Moe and he was a sweetheart and amazing helped us navigate thru the menu. All the food was delicious from the tuna tartare to the ribeye! Can’t wait to come back!

Everyone and everything was terrific and top class! Marshad, the professional valet gentlemen, the hostess, the servers, the bartenders, guests, and the food specifically was second to none tonight. Our family is just thankful to have a new favorite spot and connection. We visited The Oak on vacation and haven’t stopped talking about how amazing this restaurant is to our friends! When we walked into the restaurant we were greeted with warm smiles. A very gentle upscale ambiance. Our server, Saji was friendly and accommodating and took time to explain the menu and wine selection. The food was absolutely delicious! The shrimp appetizer was so flavorful. But the steak was my favorite! The perfect seasoning and melt in your mouth perfection! The best steak I have ever enjoyed! The desserts were phenomenal- a masterpiece on the plate a delight on the palate! Perfect ending for our wonderful meal! Thank you so much!

We visited on New Year’s Eve and even though it was a packed house every server and bartender we interacted with was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming The service alone deserves five stars!! We especially appreciated the personalized recommendations, which were spot on and made the evening feel thoughtful rather than scripted. The food was absolutely outstanding in both taste and quality. We enjoyed a fantastic spread including surf and turf, tuna tartare, crab cake, braised short ribs, and lobster appetizers, and every dish was beautifully prepared and perfectly executed. The flavors were rich, balanced, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The variety of sides complemented the mains perfectly and made the meal feel indulgent without being overwhelming. A special shoutout for the non-alcoholic cocktail options—creative, well-balanced, and refreshing. It’s refreshing to see such care given to NA offerings. From the impeccable service to the memorable food, Oak Steakhouse exceeded expectations. This is a place that truly understands hospitality and fine dining. We’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend it.

We chose this restaurant for what was supposed to be an incredibly special evening — our delayed Valentine’s Day, our anniversary, and a celebration of opening my business and completing a successful first month. We spent just under $400 expecting a premium, memorable experience. While the service was good and the food itself wasn’t bad, the overall experience simply did not justify the price. My wife’s steak was cooked to medium rare as requested, but the exterior was noticeably dry. I was glad I added butter to mine because it helped offset the dryness — and we noticed the table next to us also had butter brought out for the same apparent issue. For nearly $400, we expected exceptional quality and attention to detail. Instead, it felt average with a luxury price tag. Unfortunately, the night felt like a missed opportunity for what should have been a memorable celebration. We won’t be returning, and based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend it at this price point.

Mixed feelings about our dinner this evening. We prefer to sit at the bar regardless of the restaurant so we arrived right at 5pm and had our choice of seats. We ordered a cocktail to start then a bottle of wine to have with dinner. The bartenders were very inattentive, not busy and indifferent to our presence. We had to grab their attention to order anything, there was no follow-up to see if our food was satisfactory and we poured our own wine throughout the meal. Not the level of service I expect from a top steakhouse.

Very visually appealing restaurant, but our dining experience did not match the decor. Despite having an early reservation and plenty of open tables, we still had to wait for the hostess to seat us. Our server was very personable, gave us a tour of the menu. He kept our waters full, but neglected to ask those of us with cocktails if we wanted a second round. Perhaps because it took quite a long time for our first round to be prepared and served to us. I’ll note that it seemed he had very little backup when dealing with our table, sometimes he would go missing for longer than we wanted, and no manager or other server came in to fill in the gap. The sides and dessert were pretty good. As for entrees, I have to say that we did not enjoy 4 of the 5 steaks our party had ordered. The only person who liked their steak had ordered the steak frites, the least expensive of the steaks we had ordered. And the 5 mains were not brought at the same time, with a few minutes between the first and final mains hitting the table. There was a big party in a private room, which may have been the cause for the kitchen and bar delays, but we could overlook that if the steak had been good. It simply was not for us. Maybe it was an off night, but it certainly cost us a pretty penny to find out.

I chose this restaurant because my man wanted to do a staycation close by. We enjoyed our food, my cocktail was good, and Melissa was a good server. The off putting part was seeing one of the managers (we had a white guy come by our table but saw a Black guy) walk past us twice. The Black guy had full conversations with everyone else, even a table right next to us that was done. We actually noticed at two different times and he then asked me did I notice that. We didn’t expect special treatment as one of the two Black couples seated, but that was not okay to us. Why not just speak? No one else was skipped. We went and had several drinks elsewhere because we did not fully feel welcomed. I work with restaurants on reviews and I know not much can fix what happened. This is really to make others aware.

Last night, my boyfriend and I dined in at this restaurant, and honestly, we should have taken the poor service as a sign to leave. We were seated for over 20 minutes before our server even came to ask if we were ready to order. After ordering, it took another 25 minutes for our food to arrive. We ended up eating quickly because we were unable to fully enjoy the meal, and I asked for my baked mac and cheese to be boxed to go. Today, when I opened it, I was extremely disappointed to find a piece of hair baked into the cheese. For the amount of money spent—nearly $300 for just four items—this experience was completely unacceptable. Between the slow service and the serious food quality issue, this place is absolutely not worth it. I will not be returning and would recommend saving your time and money by going elsewhere.
