Decided to search up a new pizza place to try. I was not disappointed. The eggplant parm roll was amazing. Food took about twenty minutes to cook after I placed my order, even with more orders coming through. Reasonable wait time for fresh quality. The staff all seemed to be enjoying their time. Inside, there is a small counter where someone could sit to eat, but I imagine most of the business is takeout.
I eat here about once a month and the pizzas are always good! They are well-balanced, not doughy and just plain good. The owner is friendly and clearly takes pride in his product. Try a spinach, mushroom, garlic and extra cheese pie (my favourite) or any other. You will not be disappinted.
I love the garlic knots and the cheese pizza here. I usually go on Tuesdays for the special, and the food is always great. I would definitely go again!
Delicious pizza! This is not a sit-down place, but rather a take-out place. I tried the 2 cheese slice + canned drink lunch special. Huge slices and absolutely delicious! And I am picky about my "NY / NJ" style pizza, but this was yummy! Owner was working hard and told me he was looking at adding another location in Berkeley Lake Peachtree Corners area, just FYI!
It is the most delicious pizza you can try😋😋😋 and even more so because it is prepared by the star chef "my husband".☺️☺️ He is very careful when preparing customer orders...he puts a lot of effort into making them perfect. If in your opinion they say they are raw, go earlier because at night everything is turned off and cleaned. Or if you say you have to wait 30 minutes, it's the same. Go early or order in advance. No place prepares it in 10 minutes.🙄🙄🙄🙄 And if you say you found a cockroach, let me tell you that you are lying because there are no cockroaches there, and if you say there are cockroaches, show proof because anyone can lie with words. 😏😏
Tried this place on a whim and wished we had been here long ago. Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. I highly recommend trying the plain cheese pizza if that's your thing. It's outstanding. The calzones are the biggest I've ever seen. Comically large AND delicious. Wings were large and excellent as well. Can't finish the review without mentioning the garlic knots. Best I've had. Soft, covered in tons of minced garlic, butter and Parmesan. We loved it all. This place is a diamond in the rough. And the prices are low for what you get. Give it a try the next time you want pizza or wings.
My family is from MD and we were in GA visiting for the weekend and we wanted NY style pizza. So I googled places near by and this one was the first to pop up. I read a few reviews and looked at the pictures before we decided to take a chance. Places will tell you they have NY pizza when it’s not. The pizza here was really NY style and it was delicious. The store was very clean and the service was great. The owner engaged us in good conversation as he prepared pizzas and while ours was cooking. We will definitely be back when we come to GA again. I highly recommend
NY Pizza right here! Having been born and raised in New York. I must say having these people here making virtually the same pizza makes it more tolerable. The people are super nice!
Food was great, portions are so big! You definitely get you moneys worth. And prices are very reasonable. It’s also very clean. The only negative thing I would mention would be that the Paper Flyer Menu and the online website prices are different. The online prices are more than what it shows on the paper menu so it’s a bit misleading when you get ready to pay. I’m sure they just haven’t updated their paper flyers yet. But other than that. Everything was great! Will be back soon.
OMG! I’ve known about this place for years, but today I dropped in for a quick lunch. I had their two slice special, and it was so good…probably the absolute best slices I’ve had in Georgia. The restaurant is immaculate! The service is prompt and friendly! The pizza slices are the same size that you would get in NYC and it has a beautiful cheese pull, so you know they use real mozzarella and quality ingredients! I’ll definitely be back again and again and again! Support this local business NOW!
I am so happy that my wife discovered this gem. What an amazing place with delicious pizza and friendly staff. Here is the summary of my experience here; 1) Ambiance 3/5: Well this is not a fine dining restaurant. This is mostly a takeaway place but they still have some seats for people to eat and wait while they cook it fresh. Even then, I love their transparent setting where you can see your pizza being made, cooked, and packed. There is some parking in front but you might have to search for some space during rush hours 2) Service 5/5: The people here are friendly, helpful, cheerful,l and a delight to talk to. They make sure your requests are taken care of. 3) Food 6/5: We ordered a half-and-half cheese and mushroom pizza, and it was absolute heaven. As per my wife, you could close your eyes while eating a slice and feel transported to a New York pizzeria. 4) Value for Money 5/5: The prices are great and you could have a full meal for under $10. This is true value for money with great taste. If you are a New York-style pizza lover who loves great pizza and great prices in and around this place and has not visited this place yet, you are missing a lot! :) What's Good: 1) Freshly cooked amazing new york style pizza 2) The staff Not so Good: 1) Nothing that I can think of
I got the artichoke pizza because I was craving for the New York style one. It isn’t exactly the same but close as I’ll get in Atlanta. Also you cannot split the pizza if you choose the artichoke one. The portion was large and shareable between 2, which was great since it costs around $26.
Good pizza, good service, good price. Will return. Went on a pizza tour of over 20 NY Pizza joints in the Atlanta metro area and this place had some of the best cheese that we sampled.
Two benches out front, no inside seating. Garlic knots are awesome, marinara sauce is literally tomato soup and GOOD. Can't miss, definately will be back.
It’s not often that a pizza place of this caliber opens a few blocks from your house. We go here a couple of times per month. My wife eats gluten free and they have an incredible crust for those who are gluten sensitive. We also have a little one who loves the cheese pizza. For me it’s the supreme or meat lovers every time. The owner Wilton is so kind and if ever there is a mistake or any issue with food (which hardly ever happens) he is quick to fix the issue. Crust is thin and tasty, and here’s a little secret…. The chicken wings are really good.
This is our favorite pizza in Atlanta. The owner of the shop, Wilton, is passionate about the product he's making. You can taste the love and care he puts into every part of the process. We time our trips to Atlanta so we arrive as the pies are coming out for the slice counter (around 11:15). We buy a slice, hangout for a little while and spend some time getting to know Wilton. What a guy, and what a wonderful little pizza place.
So, I was craving NY style pizza. After reading so many reviews on this place, I decided to check it out. First of all, no one mentioned that its located across the street from a neighborhood Walmart and a Dollar Tree store. That was cool because I had some errands to run. lol The staff was kind and when I came in to pick up my supreme slice of pizza, pick up order. However, to be honest, I walked to my car and opened the bag and noticed that my slice was very over cooked. Of course I was disappointed, but I took the slice back into the store with a smile and they quickly made me a fresh slice which you will see pictured here. The slice was really large and I liked that I could fold the slice to eat it. I can't say I loved the crust...but the toppings were great. The place was clean and they even gave me the over cooked slice to take with me..not sure if I will atttempt to eat it. Kudos to them for still selling slices. So cool. It's a small place ..so get your pizza to go and enjoy.
I have gotten Strombolis at Piccolo and liked them. Just like in New Jersey. They were very large. Enough to feed two adults. The sauce is excellent. Wish you could buy it in a bottle. Had an issue with one order and the owner fixed on the next one. He stands behind his products. Glad they are open. Will try the cheese steak next.
Tiny space to order, wait in your car. Ready in 15 minutes was not correct, closer to 30 minutes. Gave me raw dough, see pictures. Not crispy as promised. Quality ingredients, but don't go if it is too busy, Friday evening, cause the oven won't be hot enough to get a good crispy pizza.
Was very busy so that should say something. Unfortunately, I can’t say I loved my eggplant roll but, it honestly was a good as any lace else I’ve had in Georgia. I’m from Jersey and eggplant parm is supposed to be crunchy and not juicy where it basically seems warmed up long enough just to make it soggy. But again, this seems to be the standard out here so I can’t fault them for knowing the menu for locals..
Friendly staff, clean and bright restaurant, but the pizza was just ok. I was hoping for a lot more flavor in the sauce. The crust is a good middle ground of crunchy and soft chewy which is very good. Over all, I would go back again for a quick bite with their lunch special.
They were nice enough and quick. The two slice special is a decent lunch deal. However, the pizza was mediocre at best. Being a native NYkr I can attest that this is not NY style pizza. The crust is too hard, not enough sauce, the sauce itself was unflavorful. They got the cheese right-that about it.
This place has potential but unfortunately I do not plan on returning. I have been twice now, and the pizza has completely fallen apart on me during both visits. The slices are greasy and tear near the crust when you try to pick it up and it quickly becomes a mess. Perhaps the dough was undercooked, not properly kneaded, or both — but it was an issue across multiple slices.
I ordered a pizza through my Uber app and it arrived frozen. I don't know if the delay was that they picked it up or after the preparation the start-up for the collection. I know that it took me almost 1 hour and a half to arrive. I paid almost 40 dollars and what I got was a heavy ice with an elastic and rubbery dough. I tried to complain to Uber eat but it says that the business does not make refunds. I literally had to throw away my pizza and at 10 at night when it was when I almost went out to look for where to eat
