This place is amazing. The server Michael was impeccable. Food was delicious. Ambiance was perfect to celebrate me and my husband's birthday. Look forward to going back soon.
I'm glad someone recommended this place to us. I had no idea it was even there. My husband took me out for my birthday. We made reservations, but needed to push them back about 40 minutes. They easily accommodated our request. Valeting was easy. We had a great seat. The food and drinks were phenomenal. Dessert was stellar. The only not so great thing was that it was really dark inside. But aside from that... it was perfect.
Great experience. Atlanta Eats was spot on again!!! We had a wide assortment of appetizers. I had the fried lobster tail. It was small but cooked to perfection. We had a large shrimp cocktail. Huge shrimp. We also had the tempura shrimp. Large shrimp. The fish of the day was Alaskan Halibut. It's very flakey and has great taste. I had the 2 lbs Tomahawk steak. 30 days aged. Great flavor. We had a six ounce rib eye. Great flavor. All the side dishes were great. Try the asparagus. Overall, it's a wonderful restaurant and I'll go back. There is plenty of parking and excellent service.
Our food and service experience was excellent. My husband had the spinalis (rib cap) it was juicy and very tasty. I had the duck it was wonderful. The sides are huge but this restaurant will let you order half sizes which I think is awesome! Initially I couldn't find the entrance (kinda of confusing) but then I saw someone come out! They also have an outside patio.
Hands down the best restaurant I have EVER been to. From service to the food. I was blown away. My best friend took me here and he has been raving about how great everything from the waiters to the food is top notch. Peter the Owner/ head chef is simply amazing. Everything was better than my mind could comprehend. I have gone from an anti oyster and calamari eater to… when I want oysters and calamari I’m flying to Atlanta person. Trust and believe, whenever I am in Atlanta I must dine in at Kaiser in before I leave.
The best meal I have ever had. My fiancée and I had our one year anniversary dinner here and greatly enjoyed ourselves. The service was immaculate, the atmosphere is fantastic and the food was incredible. Order the prime spinalis, it is the best steak I have ever had. We will undoubtedly be back.
Love this place! Love that they have such a diversified menu, something you don’t see at many high end steak houses. Also love that they have specials, another thing you hardly see at other high end steak houses. This evening they had a bone in filet special that we split/shared. Cooked perfectly! The sides are amazing here. The broccolini and German Spetzle were amazing!!! The apps were fantastic! The beet salad A+ and the wagyu dumplings delicious! Service is spot on! Parking is tight but there is valet parking. Will I go back? Absolutely!
No clue how I’ve slept on this place for the entire decade I’ve lived down the street in Chastain. Last minute visit after a movie across the way and what an incredible experience. Though solo, I ordered the carpaccio, lobster salad, and a French 75 cocktail. The flavors and freshness were on point and the prices are insanely reasonable compared to the scene that rhymes with pals. Chic steakhouse vibe without feeling stuffy. I chose the patio which was perfect for this early summer evening. Service was over the top in the best way possible, including the complimentary valet. Though stuffed to the gills, I took a slice of key lime to go and, yes, also exceptional with the right balance of tart, sweet and cream. Can’t wait to return for another visit soon!
COVID: masks, outdoor seating available I was in ATL with my bf for my birthday. We wanted to find a place that had an outdoor dining area due to COVID. We were going to a different restaurant in that same plaza but they were short staffed and closed their outdoor patio. I'm so glad they did because we found this place down the street. Fancier than I plan but the menu had pretty reasonable prices on certain items. Hamachi: started of with this hamachi dish. Now, I normally don't go for raw fish but I made an exception. I love hamachi Kama (grilled fish cheek) and my bf really wanted to try it so I went with it. This did not taste like fish which was fantastic. It was almost acidic-ally cooking in ponzu sauce. It had this mix of mango chunks that made the whole combination of flavors amazing. Wagyu dumplings: I liked the dumplings and the meat but could've done away with them soaking completely in the soy sauce. This didn't bother me with my overall experience cuz there were so many other good dishes. 9oz ribeye: cooked to a perfect medium. Just a great steak overall. My opinion is that you don't even need to go for the more expensive one. This was enough. Chicken with brocollini: I could rave about this brocollini for days. The creamy orzo with the broccoli sold me. I loved it in combination of the crispy skin of the chicken and the juicy meat. Yumm Asparagus: pretty good but should've probably tried the creamy corn instead on their menu. Should've looked at yelp before I ordered Chocolate chip skillet cake: I would go back just to have this dessert. The outside of the cookie was crispy but the inside was ooey and gooey with melting chocolate chip. Made the perfect mix and end to the vanilla ice cream. Service: absolutely phenomenal service. We loved our waiter. He was super knowledgeable, quick, no BS, knew the menu.
Ambience was amazing. Table of 2 was perfect and not one of those cramped little tables but plenty of room. Bread served before meal was great and we had the risotto of the day (mushroom) - it was exceptional! Definitely get the cookie for dessert gooey and amazing. Mule was a great choice for drink and we ordered a salad to share and without doing they split it in two for us. Overall great service!!
I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Friendly service, great atmosphere (dim lighting, gives Chophouse vibes) and delicious options across the entire menu. Our Server Michelle took such great care of us and had great reccos. Makes sure you get a reservation ahead of time, it’s a super busy place. Can’t wait to come back!
The food was delicious. My favorite was the potato gratin. The fried calamari and jalapeños were also very good. The atmosphere is very nice.
Understaffed but such good quality of service. Proper, clean, attentive, food is amazing, the oysters are to die for. Drinks strong. Hours accommodating.
Perfect restaurant for our anniversary! Everything we ordered wss delicious. For starters, a half order salad was just the right size. I had the Special, two 4-oz filets oscar style over spinach, cooked to perfection. My wife had the very tasty catch of the day, a panseared halibut filet. Absolutely wonderful mushroom risotto! For dessert, the bread pudding was perfect. Service was friendly and attentive.
My company had our Holiday Party here this year, it was very cozy, the staff was very at tentative, the atmosphere was relaxed and calm. We where in a reserved location closes off by black curtains, even though there where other people their and conversations going on outside of our party you barely noticed. Definitely will return!
Hosted a graduation dinner for 20+ with flair and impeccable service. The filet was top notch and the wedge salad was great.
Second time spending my birthday dinner at Kaiser’s. We had a great experience both times. Joseph was friendly and helpful and able to answer all of our questions and made confident suggestions. Mr. Peter stopped by a couple of times to ask how things were- it’s great to see an owner take so much care in his restaurant. Food was absolutely outstanding. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming and aware. Kaiser’s is definitely the #1 spot in Sandy Springs.
Kaiser's is very modest in its outward appearance. Once inside the ambiance is very sleek and modern. Our host Terry was genuinely pleasant, the was no forced "customer service" apparent. His food suggestions and pairings were spot on. We tried the meat and veal meatballs and prime rib skewers as our appetizers. We also had the mixed greens salad, it was well dressed, but with a bit more onions than expected. For the main course, she had their duck offering, cooked medium, and their brussel sprouts. The duck was amazingly tender, and the garnish choice was well paired. The sprouts were a bit charred but still had good flavoring for the most part. I went with Terry's suggestions of the bone-in filet mignon along with their fried lobster tail and whipped potatoes for my side. The cook on the filet was perfect. I admit, I was hesitant about having a fried lobster tell, but it was delicious, no flavoring or texture was lost in the frying. The whipped potatoes went very well, as both the steak and lobster were very robust in flavors. Kaiser's is definitely worth making a trip to, its family friendly, but also offers a great atmosphere for a date, regardless of what level of interest.
Wonderful birthday experience!! Valerie Kaiser, the owner's wife, greeted us and stopped by during the meal to check on us. Our server, Terry, was totally outstanding! The entire staff was amazing. We'll definitely return. I highly recommend Kaiser's Chophouse!!
Such a cosy restaurant. Ordered the spinalis medium rare and it was perfect. Their NY ribeye is amazing as well. I have some reservations after eating their dry aged stuff, a little tougher than expected. You need to finish the meal with the chocolate cookie here, so crispy on the outside but gooey inside with vanilla ice cream on top. My server was also amazing. A cool steakhouse to be back
If the old saying "You get what you pay for" is true, then this is a good deal! Food is to die for and the drink, beer or food selection can't be beat. Well, taken care of by a knowledgeable staff and the executive chef visited our table! ☆☆☆☆☆Highly Reccomend!
The BEST pork chop I’ve ever had in my life! Usually eat chicken or fish, but I just can not order the pork chop every time I come! Excellent service and the atmosphere is incredible! Great job to the team for making this place a great place to dine in! Great experiences! ✨
Took my son for his 18th. Outstanding service. Delicious food! Had the fried lobster tail, Spinalis steak prepared perfectly! Topped it off with homemade coffee ice cream bon bons. Top notch!
This place truly has one of the best service and steak in Sandy Spring. Lots of flavors , side dishes were perfect size. My favorite was the cream of corn . I highly recommend and worth the $$$. Parking was no issues and atmosphere was great.
This place is always fantastic. The staff is attentive and professional. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. Our dinner was prepared perfectly, and we will definitely be back!
Best steakhouse experience in a long time for me. Great for a birthday, family dinner, or date. Incredible service. Our server Ciprian was amazing and orchestrated the best birthday dinner I’ve had in a long time.
Perfect food and service. Highly recommend the Salmon "Potato Skins" appetizer, but calamari was also cooked perfectly and delicious. Hamachi was delicious, next time we'll try the other two thin and raw offerings. Cowboy Ribeye, Braised Short Rib Stack, Roasted Beet Salad, Potatoes Au Gratin -all A+ In House desserts quite impressive as well, the cheesecake flavor was passion fruit 🤤
Seeing as though today is my birthday, I wanted to try somewhere different. My mentor suggested I give Kaiser's a try since it wasn't too far. I'm really glad I did! From the moment you walk in, you feel valued and welcomed as a guest. The hostess gave everyone a very warm greeting and all the wait staff were very pleasant. The food was excellent and I'm judgy when it comes to what I eat. I had the Lamb Lollipops with Mint Chimichurri(not pictured), Crispy Rhode Island Calamari & Jalapenos(not pictured), Roasted 5 Spiced Duck Breast, Mushroom Risotto, and the KitKat cheesecake. To drink, I had the Clean Slate Riesling. To say I was so satisfied is an understatement. I will definitely be back!
I had the 8 oz NY Strip, which was great. She has a veal chop special that was phenomenal. The service was great, fantastic French fries (I know, not why you go to a nice steakhouse, but they are) , perfect atmosphere for a romantic evening with my wife, business meeting, or an elevated evening with friends
I had an absolutely fantastic meal here. I highly recommend the Prime Spinalis steak. It’s one of the best steaks I’ve ever had
Went to Kaiser’s Chophouse for my birthday dinner with my family. Had not been before but was stoked as their menu looks amazing. And it did not disappoint! The Waygu dumplings were fantastic. The crab cocktail was very good as well. I had the spinalis ribeye cap and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Don’t sleep on it! The corn was great. The risotto and truffled potatoes were very good and the Brussel sprouts were better than average. Family loved their beet salad, salmon, filet and the scallop with risotto. The cookie skillet was amazing! Have had some very good ones and this is up there with the best. Maybe just shy of Hall’s chophouse- which is saying a lot. We’ll definitely be back!
Another fine meal and experience at Keiser’s. “Impeccable”. Very nice mix of flat and fascia bread. Great salads, beautiful wine selection. Steaks and sides were perfect. The bolognese pasta was out of this world. And not the usual small cheesecake, but large and tasty offering. What great service from hostess to waitstaff to junior services. Great work team. 🏆
A beautiful ambiance paired with delicious food and drink! I want to give a huge thank you to our waiter Terry and the hostesses for helping me. When we visited for our first time earlier this year I was very newly pregnant and still wanting to hide it from our friends we were with, but if I didn’t order wine or a cocktail they would likely be on to me, so I asked the hostesses for help. They delivered the message, and Terry took my drink order but secretly delivered me a mocktail version of what I ordered to help my husband and I keep our secret. It was above and beyond, and we are so incredibly appreciative of the Kaisers staff being willing to play in our charade. We will absolutely be coming back, especially when I can enjoy a REAL cocktail!!
Came here on a weeknight with a friend and I was pleasantly surprised! The interior is cozy and classy. Parking is a breeze. The service was top notch, and the food was excellent! Better than some of the well known steakhouses in Buckhead/midtown.
Arrived early and got a drink quickly at the busy bar. Table was large enough for our party of seven. Moderate noise in the dining area, but we could still have a conversation. Service was always on the spot. The waiter was knowledgeable and efficient and kind enough to only correct my pronunciation of "spinalis" once. I'm not in this part of Atlanta often, but I would definitely return to Kaiser's.
Fantastic Experience. Food: One of the finest steaks I've ever had. Perfectly cooked. Service: Exceptional. The staff was warm, professional and impressively knowledgeable about the various cuts of beef. Atmosphere: Inviting and intimate. It exudes date-night charm. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will return the next time I'm in Atlanta.
We had a dinner reservation for a party of 2 at 7:00 pm on Thursday, 3/6/25. Complementary valet. We were celebrating a birthday, and they definitely made it special! The host who seated us and our waiter wished us a happy birthday. The free cheesy bread was good, but I wish it was warm! I could’ve done without the everything-seasoned crackers though. We shared 2 appetizers, we each got our own steak, and we shared 3 sides. We had some leftovers! Here’s what we got: - Scallop Appetizer (special, $22): Very good! - Burrata with Prosciutto (special, $15): I wish the burrata was richer, but it wasn’t bad! - Barrel Cut Beef Filet, 6 oz. ($45): Had a nice char on it, but I would’ve appreciated seasoning. - Spinalis, Ribeye Cap (special, $72): Same as above. - Roasted Brussels Sprouts ($10): Very oily; tasted good, but too much oil for our liking. - Truffled Potato Gratin ($10): Fine. - Big Elbow Mac & Cheese ($10): This was our favorite side; super good!! - Warm Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie for 2 (normally $12, but on the house as a birthday treat): OMG, still dreaming of this; absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Michael, was amazing! When he gave us the dessert menu, he said, “We would love if yo would indulge us and let us treat you to a dessert of your choice.” I really appreciated this because it took the guessing out of if they would comp the dessert or not and we got to choose the one we wanted!! All-star service. Overall, good food, great service. Good for date night, celebrating special occasions, and for large meat-eating groups. We’d go back!
Ate here Saturday night. Had a 715 reservation and arrived at 700. Table wasn't ready yet so we sat at the bar for a cocktail. Neat bar with a home study type vibe. Wife and I got the lamb lollipop which was good but if you want to share get more than one. The escargot bruschetta was good as well. For the main we got the prime porterhouse for two cooked medium. Good as well. Added the King Crab oscar w/asparagus. Excellent. Along with the sauteed spinach and the risotto of the day w/mushrooms. Good sized sides. Easy to share. For desert we got the peach cobbler and the vanilla creme brulee. Both were excellent. All in all it was a good meal with top notch service. I would def come back but I'll try another cut of meat. For outside the perimeter I thought this place did really well. Prices were very fair as well. If you enjoyed this review please be sure to hit the like button. Thank you!
Hidden gem 💎 in Sandy Springs. The food was 😋 delicious and fresh. Our server Joseph was knowledgeable and attentive. Will definitely dine again.
Would have given 5 stars but I almost didn’t come back for my reservation. I would say don’t go on a Saturday evening after 7 there may be chaos even with reservations. Paige was amazing however let’s start from the beginning…Hosts were very rude and did not greet us at all. We stood in front of their face for 10 minutes with no words spoken at all. Not even to say that they were busy or behind. Even a manager came over and spoke with them about troubles in the restaurant and no words were spoken then either. After about 20 minutes I finally spoke up and asked them if someone was going to greet us and allow us to check in for our reservation. Granted, we were 20 minutes early but I figured on a Friday night it would be packed and I wanted to have our spot in line. They politely told me my table wasn’t ready yet and to have a drink at the bar until it was. I decided to go back to my car and recoup. I was taking my daughter out for a dinner date and she really wanted to try this so we stayed. We came back 2 minutes before reservation still were not greeted properly they just looked down at the screen and started fumbling with menus so I assumed they were about to seat us. They sat us promptly. Now back to Paige! Extensive knowledge of menu. Catered to our every desire and recommended great dishes. We were never without water in our cups and table was cleaned after every course. I had the two bone in filets which were cooked perfectly medium & the salmon potatoes were to die for. The only thing I didn’t care for was the mushroom risotto very mushy texture. The au gratin could’ve used a bit more flavor. The French 75 was on point and the sticky toffee was awesome! The manager checked on us once and he was very nice as well. Follow my Instagram @rosadivina29 and check out my foodie & foodie 2 highlights for more places I’ve visited!
Nice place for a date night. The food is good but it's expensive. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to seat is outside on the patio which was perfect for us as it was quite a nice night. The restaurant is loud inside but you can still have a conversation. Service was a little slow when we were there but overall everything was great. The steak was cooked perfectly and they split it for us in the kitchen.
We shared a porterhouse for two. The steak didn’t have any seasoning at all. Just taste like plain grilled meat. Everything else was wonderful
Honest review. Service was great. Atmosphere was good. Apps were good. But, I can not get over how upset I was with my steak. Ordered the ribeye(I always get the ribeye), they brought me a sirloin and called it a filet mignon. I explained I got the ribeye to they took it back, THEN THEY BROUGHT ME BACK THE SAME SIRLOIN and said "actually that's the ribeye"...... like what? I had already sent it back once so I just ate my super tough sirloin. 😂
I was really excited to try this place after seeing it featured on Adult Swim, but overall, the food lacked flavor. My first steak was burnt on the outside, and when I got a replacement, it was disappointingly bland, same with the sauce it came with. For the first time in a long time, I actually needed to reach for the salt and pepper. The truffle potatoes were also underwhelming. I could barely taste any truffle. They did let me switch them out for the broccolini, and while they warned me it was on the bland side, it was decent for veggies. Still needed salt and pepper, though. The one dish I genuinely enjoyed was the thick-cut bacon appetizer. It was flavorful, and I liked the kick from the chilis. As for the service, I was very pleased. The staff checked in often and were quick to address any issues. I just wish that for the price of the meal, the food had lived up to it.
I’m honestly unsure what went wrong, especially since this restaurant came highly recommended. The service was extremely disappointing. An hour after being seated, we had only received bread and water, no cocktails at all. The wine selection listed online is outdated, while the paper menu shows a different, more current selection, which was confusing. The requested filet temperature was significantly overcooked, something that should not happen at a steakhouse. Meanwhile, the burger was nearly raw. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations, and I would not recommend this restaurant or return myself.
After all these years, we finally got to try Kaiser's. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing experiences at a local Steakhouse. I can think of 10 local places (Capitol Grill, Bones, and on and on) that serve a better steaks dollar for dollar. This was a real ripoff for what you get. The Service was excellent and the atmosphere was good. However, I can not recommend this place if you are looking for a premium steak experience.
The service was slow, it took forever to get everything. The appetizers taste better than our entrees. I ordered the Lobster Shanghai, no real flavor. Also got the Prime Cowboy Ribeye which I’m sure you can make at home and it would taste better. The best thing is the ambience. I won’t be returning.
I’ve been a regular guest here, but on my last visit I witnessed a suited manager near the restrooms speaking to a female employee in a very crass and demeaning way. This wasn’t discipline or him doing his job — it was unprofessional and borderline frightening. His hostile tone made me uncomfortable as a male guest, which says a lot. To be clear, this was not Bo/Beau but the other suited staff member in management. At a restaurant of this caliber, I expect professionalism and basic decency. I normally wouldn’t write reviews, but I created an account just to report this. I will not be returning.
This is a horrible steakhouse! I have been twice and my steak was not prepared properly. And the manager rushed us out and told us we didn’t have time to drink a drink that we ordered
1.their valet is illegally operating pretty sure , it’s a public parking lot and they just put cones to take it all 2. They keep staring at you and lingering around your car 3. Very sub par establishment
