Give this place a try! Warm, friendly staff, good food, simple, relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of seats. I didn't have much in the way of expectations when we went, as I had never heard of the place, just found it on a whim, and we were all so glad we stopped by. Everyone loved their food and sweet, friendly conversation with the person who served us, maybe the owner? We will definitely be back. Check them out!! Before we left, we were already planning our next visit!

Decided to give this restaurant a try, and I’m glad I did! The food is very delicious, I got the köfte kebab and the meat was very well seasoned and moist. The portion was a decent size, I ended up taking a box to go. Definitely check this place out if you can!

My 1st time here. I've only eaten at another popular Turkish restaurant not too far away. I was skeptical but the chef was so friendly and encouraging. Our food was 100% homemade and flavorful. I will absolutely recommend this place.

Chicken Philly was hot, fresh, and very fast. Care was put into preparation of the food and the staff are enthusiastic about knowing you enjoyed your meal. Will definitely be returning.

I discovered this place randomly on DoorDash when I lived near by. The first time I tried it, it was so good I ordered again the next day lol. It was in my monthly rotation of ordering take out. Since then, I moved out of the area and I was on that side of town and decided to stop in to do a to go order. Definitely worth the drive and it was so good! They are so nice and everything I’ve had from there has been so good. Thanks again! Definitely a must go to!!

Oh man do yourself a favor and try the red lentil soup (the puréed one) - it’s my favorite in Orlando (even more than Bosporus whom I thought couldn’t be beat!) and wowwww the Mantı (Turkish Ravioli) - words cannot describe how good this is … i don’t even love lamb usually but this is now one of my favorite dishes in all of orlando. Tiny lamb-stuffed dumplings topped with caramelized tomato sauce, garlicky yogurt sauce and melted butter!! He made potatoes especially for me too (pictured) since I love potatoes , and they were PERFECT! And, the owners (married couple) are the sweetest most kind people who truly take time to talk to you and take pride in their food.

If you’re ever in the Sanford area and are looking for an incredible lunch option, the mixed lunch plate here is one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a long while! A plate of buttery rice topped with heaps of lamb gyro and fresh grilled chicken, with sautéed veggies of your choice (I got onions, garlic, and tomatoes), and loads of creamy yogurt sauce make for a plate-lickingly tasty meal with a portion size large enough to turn it into two responsible meals (or one giant gluttonous meal, like me, because I couldn’t put my fork down)!

The lamb shank is perfectly seasoned. The Philly cheese streaks are perfect even for the pickiest of eaters. Restaurant is clean, and the food is cooked quickly.

Stopped in for lunch today, food was great all the flavors melded together. The Baklava had a flakey top with a nice moist bottom. The Gyro was awesome the Tzatziki sauce was a bit mild but still good. Little pricey but a great place to eat.

Stopped by because I’ve seen this place off of Orlando Dr in Lake Mary and I am so very happy that I did! By far one of the best Philly cheesesteak sandwiches I’ve had and the owner, Alex, is such a sweet person with amazing energy. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for authentic Turkish cuisine and a perfected Philly cheesesteak sandwich.

Taksim Turkish Grill serves delicious food, with great attention to hygiene and warm, friendly service. The interior could use a bit more development to match the quality of the food, but everything else is spot-on. Special thanks to Esengül Abla her soup was absolutely amazing! Hard to believe it was her first time making it; it tasted like a family recipe perfected over years. She’s truly the heart of this place.

Little corner off 17-92 with delicious food, prepared in an open kitchen. From appetizers all the way to dessert, your taste buds will thank you for the experience. Hot Turkish tea and coffee, for those of us that like them, are also available.

The interior is pretty plain but the tables were clean and presentable. Bring cash if you can as we did pay a card fee of about $1. Love this type of food so we will probably order from here again!

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. We started with delicious baba ganoush for our appetizer. Then for our entrees, we ordered the mixed grill kebab and doner kebab. All of the meat in mixed grill was very flavorful. My favorite was the gyros. The rice and salad that came with the entrees were really great and fresh. They served us Turkish tea towards the end of our dinner. I highly recommend this spot - especially for the gyros!

Lovingly prepared, extremely flavorful, balanced, fresh, and just down right delicious. We had the Chicken Adana Kebab, Lamb Shank, Babba Ganoush, Gryo, Turkish Tea, and Baklava. Each dish was excellent. The service was as good as the food. It's ran by a family. Our server was so kind, patient, and friendly. Some of the best service I've ever had. The baba ganoush dip was flavorful with a nice smokey note in the back. Mediterranean salad was light and delicious, the dressing paired perfectly with the feta cheese! The lentil soup was very hardy and filling and very flavorful overall. The Köfte kabab was delicious, very juicy and flavorful lamb patty's, and the rice was insanely delicious. The lamb chops we're absolutely worth it, they we're very tender and had little to no gamey flavor on them which was very nice. The baklava was sweet but not overpowering, and paired with the bitterness of the Turkish coffee helped balance and round out everything. In the end, we ended up buying a box of pre-made baklava for roughly $20! Definitely pay them a visit it'll be worth your time.

The owner waited on us personally and seemed very happy to have guests for dinner. The chicken curry was delicious and the chicken literally fell off the bones. The rice and beans were very tasty.

It's a nice homey Turkish place, not fancy but food was quite good. I got the Gyro bowl and soup of the day for lunch. I would come back and try the kebabs and then update the review. Crazy that I had never been here and I work so very close.

$28.74 order the alexander, no salad, no rice , just sauce meet and pita. And yes, it says served with rice and salad in the online description attached. See attached below @ owner. The meat itself was very flavorful however the meal overall was very greasy.

This was by far the worst Turkish dining experience I’ve ever had. The restaurant should seriously consider removing the word “Grill” from both its name and its menu, because nothing in our meal was grilled. I ordered the Chicken Shish Kebab and a beef burger. The chicken wasn’t grilled at all, and neither was the tomato. I went out of my way to request to grill a tomato at least. The menu claimed the dish came with grilled jalapeños, which were completely missing. Yet somehow, they charged $25 for this poorly prepared and misleading dish — a price that’s mind-blowing for what was actually served. The beef burger was just a basic, uninspired fast-food-style burger, served with fries and a drink for $14. Nothing remotely special, and certainly not Turkish. The food did not match the descriptions on the menu, and more importantly, it lacked the quality, care, and authenticity you would expect from a place claiming to serve Turkish cuisine. They're clearly not charging for the quality of food — because there was none. I can get far better, authentic Turkish food elsewhere for a much better price. I regret spending my money here and will absolutely never return. If you're looking for real Turkish food or even decent grilled dishes, stay far away from this place.

Ordered lentil soup and shrimp sauté - to go. $40 in the trash can. Soup was watered down and flavorless. The sauté was greasy - the shrimp were the frozen breaded kind that do not work in a sauté. Two bites and in the trash it all went.

i ordered from here a while back and while i normally love turkish food, i would never recommend this place i rarely give bad reviews, but taksim warrants one i had ordered the lamb manti online and picked it up in person. when i got home and started eating it, i realized there wasn't actually any meat in it i called the restaurant and asked about it. they said that they couldn't find the lamb kind so they gave me the soy bean kind. taksim had multiple opportunities to inform me that they had decided to do this beforehand but neglected to do so this meal was about 25 dollars. i was willing to spend this on lamb but not on soy. on top of that, they made zero effort to ask me about the substitution and refused to give me even a partial refund the only thing they were willing to do was to give me the lamb kind the next time they had it but i have no plans to ever go back after this experience this could have been disastrous if i had a soy allergy. i would highly recommend avoiding taksim, especially if you have any allergies in response to the reply from the owner: see attached screenshot. while you have since changed your menu, it originally listed lamb when i had ordered. as it explicitly stated lamb, there would be no reason to call. this is not the first time you have blamed customers for your own mistakes instead of taking accountability or apologizing (as i noticed in another review where the customer added a screenshot when you accused them of not reading the menu closely enough) and i doubt it will be the last
