Superb atmosphere. Very hip cafe with the feel of a friends house with private rooms to work or have conversations. People tend to be here for hours so it’s hard to find seating inside. Far easier to find seating outside. Wonderful espresso and pumpkin spice and americano and the usual suspects but with wonderful service and smiles. Super friendly. The tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich hit the spot washed down with a latte. Just the perfect stop during a long road trip.

The best breakfast burrito I've had ever. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very homey. I'll definitely go back the next time I'm back to Pine Grove.

One of my favorite coffee shops. I would really like to shut& drink my coffee but I'm always running for work. The Staff is always kind& helpful. My drink is always perfect 🥰 💞. There's books to read, games to play and tables inside& the patio. And under the Pine trees out front by the sign. Perfect for watching traffic driving by. This is a must visit, if you ask me.

Excellent coffee stop! We stopped here for coffee on our way home, and it was outstanding — rich, flavorful, and perfectly made. We loved it so much that we saved this location and will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

When you're out and about I need that little extra kick in the butt or snack. Or just need to get out of the car for a minute this is a good place to take that little break

This is a great place for us to stop on our way up the 88 to snowshoe or hike at Carson’s Pass. Staff are friendly and coffee is good. A little pricey for a small, but I suppose there aren’t a ton of other nearby options so can’t be too choosey. Glad to support a good local spot.

So charming! Stopped by here on our way home from a friend's house for coffee and breakfast, loved the ambience and the barista and a lovely girl named Avery were pleasant and helpful! The breakfast sandwich was delicious, and the coffees were perfect, and bonus, they have giant cookies that everyone raved about, the Iced Oatmeal was the best! Great job Roadside, we will be back!

The food was phenomenal, everyone was really nice. It did take FOREVER to get a to go order (waited 40 minutes). I know they were working hard, you can see the kitchen, its very small and I think it just isn't big enough to handle the traffic. It was a very cute place with lots of character.

My daughter and I have become "regulars" here. Their coffees are excellent, and the owner is personable. The employees are always smiling and friendly. I truly hope this place stays a permanent fixture.

THIS PLACE IS SOOO CUTE!!! The staff members were so kind, the environment was perfect for taking a break away from the go, go, go of everyday life (and my daughter and I live near the busy downtown area of Sacramento!), the food and beverages were delicious, and the owner was also so thoughtful and respectful. This was the first time my daughter and I ever stopped in, and we just loved it. Oh, and did I mention that the Cafe is run by a U.S. Veteran! They also have veteran-related art up in a couple of spots as well. For anyone on the fence about checking this place out, it is definitely worth stopping in, even if just for the ambiance of the relaxation and scenery from the patio or window seats. Wish we lived nearby to go there more often, but we plan to return again soon!

Peaceful to sit inside or outside, though the main hwy is right in front at reduced speed through town. It back up in that parking area is a bench under a tree, thats real outsidesy not simply under the eves on the porch.

Stopped in here on a rare occasion for a coffee, a latte & an egg & cheese sandwich on a bagel. It wasn't particularly busy but my order took almost 30 minutes. The breakfast sandwich was not good. The bagel was not toasted & chewy like it was microwaved. Slopped together, no flavor or finesse. The counter person was nice but a bit frazzled with drink orders that she kept forgetting. I won't be visiting here again though it is convenient & charming atmosphere.

Stopped in here on a rare occasion for a coffee, a latte & an egg & cheese sandwich on a bagel. It wasn't particularly busy but my order took almost 30 minutes. The breakfast sandwich was not good. The bagel was not toasted & chewy like it was microwaved. Slopped together, no flavor or finesse. The counter person was nice but a bit frazzled with drink orders that she kept forgetting. I won't be visiting here again though it is convenient & charming atmosphere.

The barista then, and only then, informed us that all the lids were that way and they had gotten a "bad batch" from the supplier. So they are knowingly issuing these bad lids to customers in hot drinks. .. As for the flavors, flavors are good but proportionate mixing is not happening. Not sure if it's just the team that was there today. Maybe a lack of training, the vibe felt more of a lack of caring. We hope the best for this adorable shop, these are fixable issues.
