Almost didn't come because of the reviews but honestly it's the same as every other Chipotle I've ever been to. It's a little chaotic and looks like they just finished a big rush but the employees were friendly and the food was good. I'd come back here.
Food was great. Their system went down right when paying and their general manager handled it very nicely and had a plan. Very professional and kind. Love a professional approach to problems. The team was also sorry about it all and made it work. Good job.
Staff was friendly and phenomenal. Food was good, but nothing special. Definitely overpriced. Parking at the Georgia Street location in Amarillo is dismissal and better signage is needed.
Ate here while passing through town with my family. I'm not a fan of Chipotle but this was better than most. The staff was - unusual for a Chipotle staff - friendly and not high. Outside smelled bad, though, but I think that's probably unavoidable in a cattle-transit city.
Food=Amazing Service was ok, most of the employees seemed to care less about you or what you needed... Atmosphere was disgusting 🫣 every table and chair was dirty. The trash was over flowing and I didn't like how loud the music was. Usually I don't mind, but it was so loud 🤦♀️ We will be getting take out from now on.
The food was ok. However, the service and cleanliness of this place were lacking. There was food, salsa and cheese all over the counters, the pans were stacked in the kitchen (visible from the front). Regardless, I had already waited in line and was hungry. I was told they were sold out of chips although I could see them on the shelf. When I pointed and asked about it, they said those were for online customers only. Wasn't happy about it, but ok. Then the next person who rang me up had trouble with the register clearing my order before I paid, so she asked the online order clerk for her help and she gave us both the biggest attitude. Neither of us seemed to have been what caused the issue and seemed to have been a glitch with the register, but she kept blaming the cashier like it was her fault. The cashier and I made eye contact and I mouthed that it was ok. After glancing at the register and realizing it wasn't just an easy fix, the online clerk blamed the cashier again and said we had to wait and continued to do her online orders while saying she needed a break, rolling her eyes, throwing the food and orders around. By this time, the line behind me had grown and we were all waiting on the one person. Very unprofessional. I won't be going again.
Food was hot and fresh. Service was medium, assumed we both wanted the same. Felt rushed. The facility was dirty both inside and out. Nobody was picking up, or wiping tables or chairs. Spilt food on floor. Looked and felt like nobody cared. Will not be back.
Stopped in to grab lunch last week and place was moderately busy. Tons of employees behind the counter, which is normal at the restaurant was in poor shape. All the tables were dirty. Trash was completely full. No one was cleaning the lobby. No manager in sight. Most disturbing part was the long-haired long bearded gentleman cooking on the grill with no hairnet on his beard or hair. I’m not saying there was hair in the food, but very easily could fall into the food with no Internet. Kind of gross. Not sure where the normal manager is she always did a great job. Maybe she moved to any store.
Love the food, but sweartogod EVERY time im here the line *never* moves and the dining room is always filthy. Tables look like they haven't been wiped all day, trash overflowing, drink station a disaster. Meanwhile 3 employees are taking a break simultaneously in the back corner of the restaurant. Definitely give your hard workers a break, but not all at once during the lunch rush when everything is piling up? Sigh. Im a sucker for the guac, tho.
Very disappointed in what this place has become and what food service is now. Placed an order for take out and when I got home one of our items was completely wrong which I understand it’s a busy dinner service. I try to call the restaurant and it’s all automated. You cannot talk to anyone over the phone besides chipotle customer service. So after they give me a coupon for an entree and drive back to pick up another order. My second order doesn’t have double chicken and no one seems to care. About an issue, about the mess in the dining room or the trash over flowing. These people do not care. I will not be back
We walked in and weren’t greeted that’s okay not a big deal. We stood there for about 5 minutes mind you there is no customers in this restaurant so we are just standing there looking stupid while the employees were chit chatting amongst themselves. Which is also fine but customer service is key. They had no food ready both rice bowls were empty and they walked around like they didn’t know what to do. They not once said give us just a moment to make the food or we will be with you in just a moment. Completely ignored it was so weird. We just walked out went somewhere else.
The last two times I’ve ordered from here at 9:45 the staff has been very rude and my food has been ice cold. All chairs are put up, mop bucket blocking the register. They close at 11:00. The bowl I received had hardly any meat or beans. It’s basically a bowl of rice.
Ordered on the app- 30 min ahead of time. My husband and I placed separate orders for a scheduled time- at the same time ( to take advantage of a promo code). I went to pick up the order- his was ready on time, mine was not. I asked the GIRL IN GLASSES 3 times why mine wasn’t ready yet… she kept saying they have a lot of orders. After 15 minutes of waiting another staff member said my bowl had been sitting on the counter for about 5 minutes and the girl in glasses just failed to notice. She never even looked into it when I kept asking. Horrible customer service on her end. She needs to get it together. Other staff nice, the place was a bit of a mess, but assuming they were trying to clean up do close.
Employee didn’t tell me that they started charging for extra rice until it was on my receipt. When I asked them they were extremely rude about it and that it is a policy to that specific store, yet if I ordered on the app and hit extra rice it doesn’t charge extra. Hire better employees with better customer service. Never coming back to this awful location
Awful customer service. Used rewards or points through the app, and then was charged for the items. Simple mistake but rather than owning the problem they made us bring our food back just to throw it away and remake the food with less. Make that make sense. Terrible. Also because I had a happy state card they wouldn’t give me a refund…. Yall need to do better if you don’t like your job go do something else but don’t take it out on your customers.
EDIT. NEITHER THE STORE NOR THE CORPORATION IS DOING ANYTHING TO SURELY COMPENSATE ME BACK FOR SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THEY HAVE DENIED ME SUCH, IN ANY RESPECT WHATSOEVER. LIKE THEY DONT ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH PUBLICITY ISSUES. DEAL W THEM AT YOUR OWN PERIL. WHAT A FARCE! Ordered last night thru door dash. Ordered three corn tortilla tacos with black beans fajita veggies and guac and this is what I got. No veggies. A few beans in each. A glob of guac not cared about. Neither did I get the salsa I ordered. They were also cold and if I wasn't so so hungry.. these would have been INEDIBLE! I want my money back ! $15 for three pieces of crap..
Don’t even. Sure the bowl was full. But overall not worth $20 bucks. They ran out of cheese completely only option was queso. Sodas all were flat and sweet tea tasted the same as unsweet tea. Ice wasn’t in the machine. Trashes full as well.
I love chipotle. I really do, but this place leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I'll order from here every once in a while because they're overly priced, no surprise there. 50/50 it turns out okay. However. This last time I ordered the rice was undercooked in my burrito and my husband's bowl. Undercooked. Like raw and crunchy. It was disgusting. My husband did the right thing and took our food back and they remade it. He also told them about the potentially deadly rice because raw rice can kill you. They already knew and just didn't care. My remade burrito came home with no sour cream, no cheese, and weird tasting steak. I literally reported them to corporate for the rice thing and received 2 free entrees. I honestly hope this location gets a total overhaul in environment and employees. This is our only Chipotle! Bring back quality!
I won't be going back ordered 2 bowls not filled the food was cold the young lady behind the counter had an attitude they were in a hurry. The dining area is disgusting tables & chairs dirty no clean spot to sit. 2 members of management were there had zero concern for the customers. The female manager is always in a hurry also seen her take off her apron clock out and leave without telling her team to clean the lobby. This franchise just lost a regular customer
I was overcharged. I used one of my credit cards to pay. I was told I didn't have enough on the card. So I gave a different card. Well they charged me twice. I called to get a refund they will not refund with my bank ledger. Not giving it to them. Terrible customer service.
not only was this the worst chipotle experience I’ve ever had, but likely the worst eating out experience I’ve ever had. Ordered 4 bowls on the app, had to wait 30+ minutes over the anticipated time, and then received 4 unlabeled bowls completely different than what we ordered, and all less than halfway full (even though we ordered double-sized). After trying to sort out the bowls between the 4 people in our party, we realized that none were correct, all bowls missing beans, lettuce, and incorrect fillings. As we were on the road passing through Amarillo we couldn’t turn around, but of course no one answered the phone. not to mention the trash, spilled food and disaster of a lobby, truly a health scare and extremely disappointing.
I ordered online and picked it up in store, got a burrito bowl and it wasn't even filled to the halfway mark. I also ordered guac, which is extra, and it was nowhere in sight. While I waited for my food I watched as people got their bowls filled and they were like actually to the top. So I was super surprised when I got mine. Chips were stale and old. Just a terrible experience. I haven't been to Chipotle in years and I will not be coming back. I should have looked at the reviews first. They all say what I saw and experienced skimping on the ingredients and a dirty restaurant.
