Great service from front to back. Great staff. They do their best. Food was awesome. 1hour wait for the chicken sandwich. Spicy or classic. Both are delish.

3/4 of my experiences so far I have had some of the best and juicy chicken here. The girl at the counter is nice and speaks clearly. Wait is pretty good even when busy. Sauces are still free here as well

What makes this review fascinating is that it's two reviews in one... my first visit turned into quite a nightmare when the girl that was working the cash register was acting like a gang member and TELLING me what was available to eat as opposed to the customer ordering what they want! I was shocked at how rude this girl was and after being insulted I tried to leave, to find the door locked even though they were not closed! As if it could get not any worse, this evil employee laughed at me and made fun of the fact that I banged into the door because it didn't open! I vowed to never go back to this place ever again but last week I figured since it was daytime, the service was probably going to be improved, and boy was I right! I have never in my life been treated so bad and then so good by a restaurant! Her name was Amalia and she multitasked at the front, working solo, handling customer requests, fulfilling orders, and correcting orders that were missing items... She was cheerful ...she was upbeat ... she was smart and she cared about what she was doing! If all service companies had employees like this there would never be customer service problems like there are in today's consumer climate... the remarkable thing is that I've told this story to at least 15 people all of which, probably told others themselves! The power of word-of-mouth advertising cannot be denied! Here's some helpful advice for the "OTHER" employee... If you have mental problems and don't like people, DON'T APPLY FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITION! AMALIA... Thank you from the bottom of my heart for resurrecting my belief in people... You deserve a promotion and a raise!

Popeyes has really good chicken and is served very quickly. The only thing I could suggest for this particular one is more seating, as there was barely any seating for the many people. Another thing to keep in mind is that the soda machine seems to have a very poor soda to water ratio, as when I went I got basically carbonated water with little flavoring. I had to pour it out and grab a different soda. Other than that slightly disappointing thing, my experience here was good.

Went there specifically to try "THE Chicken Sandwich". At $3.99, I think it's a properly priced value. The chicken breast I got was fairly massive, and filled out the entire bun nicely. It was crunchy and juicy with that unique Popeyes flavor. Was it good, sure. Is it the best chicken sandwich ever conceived by mankind? Nah, not even close. But I'd still highly recommend trying it, it's very worth it. I also got a biscuit, which was hot, buttery and a touch of salt. So tasty. One of my favorite biscuits ever next to Red Lobster. Now those, those are the best ever conceived by mankind.

Tried both of the "new" chicken sandwiches and they were easily the best available from a major chain. The mild was actually a bit better than the spicy. Great crunch with the perfect amount of mayo and bite from a crunchy pickle. Could easily be made at home but why bother? Took an average amount of time to receive freshly made sandwiches. Nothing worth fighting over.

Why is it that there is nowhere to rate the cost of the food ? That should definitely be changed if you ask me.

1 employee during the dinner rush at 5pm? Waited for 40+min for a simple order. Give this guy credit he was working his tail off but you guys gotta help him out or tell customers on the app that the wait will be 40+ min for pickup.

The food here tasted great, and is at the best price compared to the other Popeyes locations, but I don't think it's worth waiting around 45 minutes for something that's supposed to be "fast food." This location needs to hire more employees to meet the demands of the amount of people who walk in here. 2-3 workers per shift isn't enough.

I like Popeyes in general just for their chicken sandwiches, but this particular place messed up my order and it was simple. 2 chicken sandwiches, no mayo and extra pickles. I got no may and no pickles. I understand people make mistakes... It just kinda sucked because other Popeyes get my order right.

I thought there was a drive thru. Drove pretty far here to realize there's no drive thru. Very misleading advertisement. So went inside and waited almost an hour. Had punk teenager kids come in and just be obnoxious. So waiting here was kinda dreadful. Won't be back. Tho service was great! Just bad timing.

Usually this location is pretty quick with your order. The chicken taste good as usual. Only one since I've been going there has the chicken taste like dirty oil in the year since I've been going. So because of that I've given them a 3 star instead of a 4.

The food was excellent. Chicken Sandwiches are living up to their hype. Tried the spicy chicken sandwich. Tender, not dry, good flavor & just the right amount of spice. My disappointment was with the manager's potty mouth. We walked in and heard him cursing behind the kitchen. Not something I care to hear, especially with kids around. Also, most of the soft drink syrups were out, so not much selection on soft drinks. Tables were dirty. I'm glad there's another Popeye's opening nearby.

On the window facing the street. Nowhere else. Nowhere inside... that i could find that is. . Last but not least, when we got home we realized they didnt put our biscuits in the bag.... So we had to go back.

I have ordered from this location multiple times, and I pretty much order the same thing every time. One of those items is always a large mashed potatoes, with a side of extra gravy. The very polite person at the front counter rang me up for the potatoes and the extra side of gravy... But when my order was handed to me, there was no side of gravy. When I asked for my side of gravy, I was told it was put in with the mashed potatoes... (Which is not what I asked for when I said a "side".) I looked at this incredibly familiar container of mashed potatoes and gravy, and the gravy look to be exactly the same as every time I've ordered it in the past. They did not appear to be any extra gravy in there at all. If there was, it assuredly wasn't noticable. The manager on duty then impolitely insisted to the cashier, that if I wanted the extra gravy I had ordered (and paid for), I had to pay for a full regular side dish. This is never happened before at this'll location or any other. So essentially, I paid twice for a side of gravy. This lever of unprofessionalism on the managers part, both shocked and offended me. I don't know if I will return to this location, but be warned... The manager is more concerned with squeezing the customer of their money (twice), than offering quality customer service.

Not sure what's going on with Popeyes but God their quality has gone down to the bottom of the barrel. And this is from someone who absolutely sung their praises when they first came to California. You better get your acts together and get the quality back up or I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The chicken was very tasty (*), but the service is s-l-o-w . . . I waited more than 20 minutes because the cooks were frying the "mild" pieces, when I learned that was the issue, I said "Give me all spicy pieces" ! The cashier should have told me ahead of time, instead of letting the customer wait !!! Besides, this place gives me water for waiting (2nd *) but doesn't have a bathroom !!!

Too salty, overly tangy mayo for an item described as classic vs spicy. The app advertises a fish sandwich that is discontinued. Fairly sloppy menu. Great crew, however. Lame is the key word regarding their menu. Good thing there is a KFC across the street so this place is easy enough to avoid. Popeye's is just plain bad.

I don’t understand the hype on this sandwich. It’s a thicker version of any chicken sandwich. The sauce is not that special or I couldn’t taste because they put so little. No cole slaw at noon. Definitely not worth the long line and time

They took about 20 min to have my order ready, and after that, they didn’t pack it right away, they helped more customers but not me, till i told them, again, to check on my order. Tables were dirty.

I ordered 8 piece Mixed and got home to find only legs and thighs. red beans and rice were cold and biscuits also under cooked.

Food kind of sucks, not sure why my wife thinks it's good. And crazy expensive.

This particular location has struggled and definitely not been fast food every time I have been here. Tonight was the worst. It took more than half an hour to get my food. At the 20 minute mark, I asked the manager about my order. She said sorry, they are waiting on classic chicken. To her credit, she was working her butt off going between the register and order line. Well multiple small orders were served that came in after me (maybe spicy, maybe not). Manager said sorry, I'll throw in some extra chicken. OK, at least that is trying, although I would never get that wasted half hour back. But I get home, not a piece of extra chicken. Our meal should have been free after waiting that long. I was cool with a token throw in a few pieces of extra fried chicken. But that didn't happen. And we received fresh non spicy chicken but 5he spicy chicken was terribly dry from sitting under the heat lamp for God knows how long. Another dude sent his back and I saw him get some extra love (chicken). Why couldn't that be me. Not that you expect Popeyes to be in a nice place, but this parking lot/strip mall is pretty terrible. Doubt I will be desperate enough to come back here.

The food was excellent but the service is terrible ,employees need to train how to treats customers.. I order shrimp popcorn and I know it going to take awhile for the shrimp popcorn to cook so I wait patiently, 10 minutes went by so I asked the cashier, she talked to the cook and pull down my order paper still hanging on the list.. at that time, the cook run and make my food.. the cashier lie to me ,stated that the shrimp take a long time to cook. I know that they forgot to make my food , instead of lying to me , the cashier should have tell me the truth and apologize I will be happy to wait.. these Popeyes location employees needs to be trained ASAP before losses all the customers 😒 😑 😐

Popeye's is a staple. This location is .....pick your favorite expletive. And no chicken sandwich here. Food was cold! How? And a long wait.

Had business in orange county today thought it would be great to try Popeyes. Was told it would be 20 minutes so I waited. I went back in to pick up and found out the chef never even had my order. Poorly managed location. Clearly a production issue with the chef but they never told us when we place our orders. And they never offered any form of restitution - not even I’m sorry!

I just spent 9 bucks to get three mild tenders combo, but I got three spicy tenders instead and they were small. I order mild not spicy and the chicken and fries didn’t taste right. It tasted like it was refried over and over again. The wait is long as well😥 about 15-20minutes for my order. The only good thing was the biscuit being fresh.

I don't usually post negative reviews, but the accuracy of the order and the quality of the chicken was terrible. This was at the Westminster, CA location. I asked for mild chicken, and instead, I received spicy, which is too spicy for my boyfriend and me. Also, I asked for 6 breasts, and 6 thighs, and I only received 3 breasts, and the pieces were very small, not worth what they charged. I felt like the workers didn't care what I wanted, they were giving me whatever they had. I should have gone back and asked for a refund, but I was too tired. Also, this isn't the first time that the service and quality have been poor. My boyfriend and I will not be going back to that location.

They dont have pickles for the chicken sandwich and they dont disclose it... what a let down. Not worth $4.

One of the worse location, No restrooms and just a few tables, table was really dirty and I asked if someone can clean it but it took them about 10 minutes to do so because only one employee was in the front and he was taking orders. Also once we got our food, they did not have Ketchup, Ranch and butter. Worker said they ran out, really you ran out of condiments on a Sunday at noon? We will never come back to this location or to any Popeyes in general, quality is not worth what they charge now.

I'd give this Popeyes zero stars if I could. Their customer service was terrible and they took FOREVER with the order. The staff all seemed lost and not really wanting to be there. The two cashiers seemed like they were more interested in whatever else they were talking about than the customers. Their shift leader or manager didn't seem like he was too interested in what was going on either. He was in the kitchen fiddling with the mask on his face with gloves in his hands that he was using to serve food. No one seemed to know what was going on. The order took close to 20 minutes when clearly it was already done. The other three people that ordered after me were as irritated as I was. One of them was a person from one of those companies that pick up your food and deliver it. Her order wasn't even ready when she went to get it! Once we got out food, it wasn't even warm. Ugh! I'll definitely never set foot in this Popeyes again!
