Went to sonic the other day for a cherry limeade which i haven't gotten since i was a lil kid the staff introduce herself as Gracie. Gracie was funny, kind, attentive and girlie made a damn good cherry limeade !!!! Go when Gracie is working you will have a blast !!!

An old favorite of mine from my time in Texas. Food is ok and sitting in the car to eat can be pleasurable. Park on far side opposite the restaurant, nice views of the hills. There's drive-thru also.
Very slow service. Food was over salted and not very warm. Previous visit no one took our order at the menue kiosk and so we left without purchasing. This was the last time we visit this Sonic restaurant.

Staff is nice enough, but apparently it is possible for them to lose track of who orders at which stall. Some advice: if the payment screen doesn’t show up after you’ve ordered, and someone tells you they’ll take care of it when the food comes out, don’t believe them because it’s more likely than not they’ve lost your order and you’ll have to do it all over again. Ended up wasting half an hour instead of just reordering because I trusted the person who told me they would fix it.

Dear Sonic Customer Relations Team, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding repeated order errors, poor customer service, and the inability to obtain a refund for items that were not prepared correctly at the Anderson, California location. Order #10003691576009 was placed through the Sonic app for pickup at the Anderson, CA location. The order was missing a medium cheese tots item totaling $4.09 plus tax. Order #1000372031168 was also placed through the app at 1:33 p.m. and included a large cheese tots with onion, totaling $5.09 plus tax. This item was incorrectly prepared with chili, which poses a serious concern as my co-worker is allergic. I arrived approximately 10–15 minutes after placing the order, checked in through the app, and selected stall #2. I waited approximately 10 minutes with no response before going to the door for assistance. No one acknowledged me, so I returned to my vehicle. The food was finally brought out about two minutes later. Both orders were taken back to work, where the errors were discovered. Attempts to contact the Anderson location by phone were unsuccessful, as the phone rang repeatedly without being answered. When I contacted Sonic customer service for app orders, I was advised that the only options available were a food replacement or a $5 Sonic gift card. Due to ongoing issues with this location, we declined both options and requested refunds for the two incorrect items totaling $9.18 plus tax. I was informed that refunds could not be issued and that the complaint would be escalated. On 12/19/25, I received a call from the manager of the Anderson location in response to the escalation. She stated she could only offer the same options previously presented and was not authorized to issue a refund. She directed me back to customer service, stating they were the only ones who could process refunds. Customer service was contacted twice more. Both calls were disconnected, and no return calls were made. A chat through the Sonic website again resulted in being told the Anderson location had to process the refund. No other resolution was offered. To date, no refund has been issued. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated experience. Within the past week, a co-worker ordered a Reese’s Sonic Blast late at night and discovered the candy was only lightly sprinkled on top instead of mixed throughout. On another late-night visit, the same co-worker entered the drive-through, was told someone would assist her shortly, waited over two minutes without further response, and ultimately drove away. It is unacceptable that attempting to obtain a simple refund of $9.18 plus tax for incorrectly prepared items has required multiple calls, extensive wasted time, contradictory information, and ultimately no resolution. This is the only Sonic location in our area, and the ongoing service issues make it difficult to justify continued business. I am requesting a refund for the two incorrect items and a review of customer service and operational standards at the Anderson, CA location. I would appreciate written acknowledgment of this complaint and confirmation of how this matter will be resolved.
We ordered from the app which is difficult to navigate. We arrive and they bring us the wrong order. Then 10 minutes they bring new order. Then I place a kids meal order and I had to physically get out if my car 20 minutes later to find out where my order was. He said, Ill look. It had been sitting there. Burger luke warm. Just not a good experience at all.
Pulled into the parking spot to order. The guy over the speaker did a good job, but the young girl that came with the food and to take the money was rude and short tempered. Asked her a question, and she said with an attitude, I don't know. I'm not the one cooking your food and then walked away and never came back. I had the double smash burger, and it was no good at all. After that experience, I don't believe I'll ever go back there again.
Worst Sonic experience I've ever had. The order kiosk I pulled up to was broken. I pressed the button and waited a while (they were busy), and after waiting I noticed that the message about taking my order had disappeared. I tried again, and waited again until it timed out. Then I went to the drive through instead. The speaker was incredibly quiet, and the microphone was worse, so that the worker couldn't hear me clearly. Tons of repetition. I let them know about the broken kiosk, but they seemed uninterested. The line was long and slow moving. On top of that, two issues with my order. A kid's meal was requested, but I only got the burger without the side of fries (at least they only charged me for the burger price). Additionally, the burger was requested with no cheese, but had cheese on it. No napkins included in the bag, none offered. From when we pulled in to the first kiosk until we pulled away from the drive through window was a full 52 minutes, according to Google Maps timeline. Absurd. I like Sonic in general. I hated this particular experience at this particular location.
Poor customer service, didn't hear me say fries one time a car drove by and immediately cut me off from ordering and repeated fries or tots and was rude and short the entire order thereafter. Basically threw the food at us, no sauces, food put together poorly and inaccurate, and just an overall bad experience. Do better for your customers who are completely kind to you. Also there was a weird greasey film that was attached to my burger and cheese that is not burger lol
Sat here in line for over 30+ minutes with the button activated and no one took our order so we ended up leaving, seems like maybe they need to work on having their workers actually do their jobs, another thing is one of their workers was picking his boogers while walking back to go inside. Should definitely keep his fingers out of his nose when dealing with customers food.
Absolutely the worst fast food customer service experience I have endured in, well, ever. I am 39 years old. I have been a truck driver for two years. I have eaten out at many, many places. To the owners of this Sonic; I say this with conviction, and with knowledge in the weight that my statement makes. I seriously hope you fire this kid that is working for you. When I had my order taken she came off nice and happy. At the end of it is when she got rude. I asked a simple, reasonable question about the size differences for the tots you offer. Her answer was small, medium or large. Keeping my question unanswered. Obviously theres a small medium or large and can read your menu. I want to know how big that is? And I asked her to show me so I can see. She answered with the small is a kids size. I do not have kids, I do not order from the kids menu. I can have an idea but how small is that? It was not due to the price difference. I just didn't know how much food I was wanting to consume. I needed a visual as Sierra, the person taking my order was continuing to fail to adequately describe the size Sonic serves. Sierra then, in my opinion, rudely ends the order. Luckily for me the door was wide open so I walked up to further explain why I was wanting to see the size differences. I get to hear Sierra talking about me and how dumb I was for not knowing what size a kids size is and for wanting to know the difference between the sizes. I had to wait longer than 10 minutes for my order. I handed my payment of cash and she pulled out her bag to give me my change. I went to grab the receipt and saw a nice clean paper. As I reached for it she said that she would be back with my change. Takes the receipt and then comes back and give me my change on top of my receipt. Not just coins, paper cash. This time the receipt has some weird stuff on it. And so now too does my cash. Here is a picture of the receipt. It was clean, and then she got my change and then it was sticky and wet. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING experience. Will NEVER recommend anyone to this particular Sonic. Unless you report back that you have justly fired Sierra. Today is March 8th and Sierra took my order at or around 7:20pm.
Used to be my go to place but think that has ended. Food has gone downhill last two times I went. Ordered Popcorn chicken and there was no chicken...besides the few chunks of pure breading I opened one of them up to see nothing but fat. It was rubbery and there was 0 meat in any of the popcorn chicken. I asked for ranch and they forgot so I had to also drive around again to get it. Mostly what upsets me is I pay 13$+ for a meal where I do not get everything I asked for and the chicken has no chicken in it but pure fried breading or a huge piece which had nothing but fat inside. Only reason I may come back are for drinks.
