Amazing food, we love it. It was our first time but the service was too good. He was very nice to talk about and makes us very comfortable and helps us with the menu. Food looks delicious and tastes very delicious. Drinks were also good. We don't drink alcohol so he helps us with that also. We are definitely going back and trying some more dishes.

Delicious! The focaccia they serve is fantastic! For my entree I had the eggplant parm and was very satisfied. It was very cheesy and saucy but still maintained good crunchiness. Service was also really fast when I went in for lunch

A bit too pricey for a day of no particular occasion, but DELICIOUS! At the risk of overselling it, I would gladly pay that much again. The focaccia they serve before the meal is not to be overlooked! Lovely fluffy texture and salty herby flavor. I got the Naughty Pasta and it was simplicity elevated to its peak potential without becoming pretentious. Just pasta, marinara, a couple of big gorgeous meatballs, and a large dollop of nice ricotta. It looks like it could be made at home, but each component was individually uncommonly good. The temperature difference of hot pasta and cold ricotta really made it for me. I'll definitely crave this in the future. Again, maybe overselling the food, but the staff were also friendly and attentive. It had a cozy familial atmosphere, open and full of chatter with intimate yellow lighting. Outdoor seating seemed much quieter. Will be back for sure!!

Busy shopping center but ample parking space. The restaurant was busy but we got a table right away. The house bread served with balsamic was soft and flavorful. Friendly and prompt service. This restaurant is awesome. They have the largest wine selection around. The food is phenomenal, and the bread is unmatched. I go there when I'm craving that warm bread and basil oil mixture. They have been here forever and never fail to hit it out of the park. We love to attend their special secret dinners as well. Scotty and his crew always take care of us. Thank you, guys....

When we walked into the restaurant we were promptly greeted and seated! Our waitress was Brook and she was amazing. My food was AMAZING and so was my wine. The gelato was awesome as well. The restaurant was really busy and the staff was on point to accommodate everyone.

Great date night place. I had the filet mignon. It was amazing. Got served cold bread twice. Mai tai was disgusting. Gin gimlet was yummy. My husband had the chicken. It was good if your looking for a heavy meal.

Update: we made a last minute decision to come here for dinner and again this place did not disappoint! The service was impeccable! Our drinks never got empty, the bread is soft and yummy. Our meals did not disappoint as well. Love this local place so much. Even after my first review 2 years ago this place is still amazing! The food is delicious!

We waited quite a while before being greeted by a server, who never introduced himself. Service felt rushed and impersonal, and at no point were we informed of any specials, and the restaurant was completely dead. Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it. The calamari was overly greasy, my wife was completely displeased with her butternut squash ravioli, my seafood pasta dish was okay, but the portion was very small for the price. Overall, the food quality fell well below what I’m accustomed to. Having spent years working in fine Italian restaurants with much higher standards, this experience was especially disappointing. When you pay $30 a meal, the expectation is to receive quality food and excellent service. This restaurant wouldn't last a day where I’m from. We won’t be returning.

We come here every now and then and normally we are very happy. The bread and dip Olive Oil was off, we ask and were told it was normal, they make it daily some times its alittle off. My husband had Chicken Risotto, I had Linguini with shrimp, muscles and clams. I enjoyed mine. My lemon drop was yummy. Randy's was not what he expected from them, it had a fowl after taste. This evening I found myself at Il Forni Classico, an “Italian” bistro just North of Rancho Cordova near Sacramento. My partner and I were craving Italian food. I’m fortunate to have traveled extensively throughout Italy and some good cacio peppe sounded delish. Regrettably what I found at Il Forno was anything but Italian. I ordered the Fettuccine Primavera while my colleague ordered the Lasagna. To summarize, nothing about the dinner was fresh, and it was equally Italian as a dinner at Olive Garden, without the bottomless salad. There were not even Italian wines in the menu. Should you find yourself in Folsom or thereabouts and you are in the mood for Italian, you may want to save the time and calories and skip I’ll Forno all together.

Came in with a friend to grab a drink and dessert. The waiter was visibly annoyed by us not ordering an entree. I could understand if the place was packed and we were taking up a table but there were plenty of other open booths and we came after the dinner rush. The attitude from the waiter was extremely off-putting and I won't be back.
