Update: The place is closing for good in three months. My family were so sad to hear about it from the owner as this place is our favorite Chinese go to in the area. We are going to support the restaurant until it close. If you love them, I suggest to do the same thing. I'm sure we are going to miss their food. Past: Some people are complaining about their fried rice but for me its one of my favorite (beef). The smoky flavor gives me the nostalgic vibe plus its loaded with beef. They give big portion so I think the price hike is still worth it.

Our favorite place in Oakley shut down so I thought I would give this a shot. I was pleasantly surprised, first off the prices are as cheap as you are going to find for pretty much any food in the area and the portions are absurd……like you will have lunch, dinner and lunch again. We had the Mongolian beef and the eggplant beef with hot and sour soup. All were great. Now listen, the ambience is lacking a bit and it is in old Antioch but honestly if you picked up and set this place in China Town, SF….quadrupled the price, cut the portions down by 3/4 you would have Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsey raving and hosting an annoying cooking show from their kitchen.

I have been going here for over eight years. Great local business, it’s been the same guys all these years. The food is always great and they definitely don’t skimp on the portions. Thanks for years of awesome food!

From the owner to the food to everything about this place it was amazing. This was a business that should've been protected at all costs! Hoping one day you re-open at the same or a different location and when you do, we will be there! For $15-$20 you could feed your entire family for a week! Each combo plate was easily 7lbs or 8lbs of food.

It was first time trying the restaurant. It was so good. You get way more food than what you expect! I heard that they were closing the restaurant soon. We are so regret that we just had discovered the place. Those small local businesses should keep their doors open with more supports…

I came here on my lunch break with a coworker last week. I didn't even know the place existed and I feel really bad because I'm always looking for a good Chinese food spot. I ordered the Mongolian beef and fried rice. It was so good! The best I've ever had! I only ate half of the portion I was given and ate the rest for dinner that night. It was so good that I brought my wife back two days later and she absolutely loved it also! It's so sad that they're going to be closing the doors in less than 2 months. The prices are extremely decent and the portions are abundantly large. I wish they could continue to carry on the tradition of providing great service to the community. This is a gem that is definitely going to be missed.

The best food! Large portions of fresh, yummy food. The owners are the nicest people. I love the beef chow fun, potstickers, fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken....i have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered.

I don't know what "authentic" Chinese food is like, but as far as the typical food you find in the states, this place is really good. Food was good and the service was friendly! I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so to me the meal was like a dessert (the orange chicken tasted like a donut was wrapped around it) but all of the family enjoyed the food. So it was a fun treat to eat for a special occasion.

This one of my favorite places to get chinese food! Great prices and taste good, on to top of all this they give you ridiculous amounts of food. I highly recommend Chop Chop OTW home from a long BART ride and I try to tell fellow passengers. Call in your order and you're in and out!

Love Chop Chop! Giant portions made to order fresh chinese food at reasonable prices...what more can you ask for? I go here quite a bit and everything I've ever ordered is delicious. Seriously, you can feed 3 people off 1, yes 1, combination plate.

My husband and I love this place. Now we moved from Antioch, live in Concord but any time when we go through the town always stop by order some of our favorite dishes. Whole in the wall but best Chinese food!

My family and I have been coming to this place for years and it's the only place we go to eat Chinese food . They have a lot of great food to choose from on their menu.. and there prices are not high at all . Great place to go for Chinese food. The place it self is kinda small. But the portions of food you get at an affordable price is huge compared to other Chinese food place. It's well worth it.

The place is smaller but does have a few tables to eat at. Old but clean enough. Food was just ok. Of the three dishes we got, the noodles were the best thing. The meats needed more sauce but the flavor was ok. Would maybe go back to try one more thing or their pastries.

worst chineese food ever. i got chicken chow mein and chicken stir fry and teryaki chicken. it was very salty. way to much vegetables. almost a plate full of vegetables. and way to expensive....never will i go back

I don’t know how this place has 4.7 star rating but it’s not above 3 star on it’s best day. Me and my wife went here for dinner because we didn’t feel like cooking we wish we had just cooked. One thing I did agree with is the portion size great amount of food or the price. I read through a few comments I saw a few people comments regarding a burnt flavor taste in the food which I can agree upon. Never will eat at this place again. Has noodles burnt taste I had orange chicken it was extra hard and not much actual chicken.

One thing I did agree with is the portion size great amount of food or the price. I read through a few comments I saw a few people comments regarding a burnt flavor taste in the food which I can agree upon. Never will eat at this place again. Has noodles burnt taste I had orange chicken it was extra hard and not much actual chicken.

I ordered 4 orders of chicken wings, person on the phone said it would be a dozen wings for $12, went to pick up the wings and was VERY dissatisfied with what I brought home SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️ $54 for 48 little pieces of *#@:$/);&

Dirty inside and out. It seriously looks like it hasn't been cleaned in quite awhile. The employees all had the same attitude.... Bad! The food was just as bad. Even though my friend and I ordered different dishes, both had meat that was dry and rice that had a burnt flavor to it. They must have burned something on the grill and not cleaned it after.
