Opinions de Kabuki Sushi Antioch
The food is great. I really recommended to go there. It’s really delicious and really clean and good food.
Family owned, super good 🍣 sushi!. Calamari rings the rolls are so good and fresh! They take the time to make the rolls with care! So good!
Excellent food and service. Very nice atmosphere. I got the 3 roll plate dine in and a binto box to go. All very delicious!
Some of the beat sushi I have had in awhile. Service was a little slow even though we were the only two people in the restaurant but if you want really good sushi I would put up with the slow service and go. We had three rolls and tempura shrimp. Sorry forgot the names of rhe rolls as I didn't order them but they were fantastic. Definitely worth the wait.
I've been to Kabuki Sushi numerous times and each time they did not disappoint. In terms of parking it shares the lot with the other businesses nearby, but there is normally a good amount of available parking spots outside. They sign for the all you can eat special hanging above doesn't have the prices on it, but you can ask and it is on the sheet once you get inside. The interior of Kabuki Sushi is pretty nice. It has sort of dim lighting, but nothing distracting and the decor is nice but not over the top or obnoxious. They have a television and some music playing as well. Also the place is pretty clean and they have a bathroom in the back. The service is nice, but they normally have one, or not many people waiting on you but they are always polite. Sometimes it takes a while, but the service is fairly good and they will check and refill water or clear plates without you having to ask. For the food, they have a huge selection of Sushi and other items such as appetizers that are reasonably priced. They have the normal menu and the all you can eat menu as well. In terms of the serving size, it is very reasonable considering the price and the food is normally very delicious, especially the sushi however there are some items that I didn't like as much. It is really just a matter of preference and at the cost, you can always come again and try a different dish because they have such a variety. Also as a plus when you order some sushi you normally get a little bowl of soup after you order and before your food it is fairly delicious. The wait time for the food isn't too long like it is in other sushi places, not the fastest but not the slowest. I never feel like I've been waiting too long for the food to arrive. When the food does arrive the presentation is neat and nice and they do provide additional bowls if you are with someone else so you can share normally without having to ask.
good sushi lions king didnt meet my expectations but the bento box with teriyaki chicken and california roll is amazing would come again
I come here about once a week with my husband and daughter, The food is always delicious! Thank you for always serving fresh delicious food.
Always really fresh sushi, and nice staff. Their "all you can eat" for $25 is incredible bang for the buck if you can stomach more than 2 rolls. This place is one of my local favorites and definitely the go-to for me and my friends
Have always seen this place but it is in the back of a tiny strip back off the main road where a lot of businesses have come and gone so I never gave it a second look. I actually got an order from Door Dash as they were the only place open around 9:00 after I got off a long work shift. The food was good but the driver spilled the soup all over the bag and the food so I figured I'd give them another chance. Worked another late shift the other day and thought of them on my way home. Stopped in like 10 minutes before they closed for a to go order from their web ordering service. Couldn't have been nicer. Took a custom sushi order and some teriyaki and rice plates. Super hospitable even though they were closing. Answered a question I had about a custom order in the future and told me they could make whatever I needed no problem. Food was great and I've seen some places use lower quality beef and chicken to save money and it ends up like rubber. Not this place. Good quality beef and chicken and no skimping on the teriyaki either. Sushi was good and wasn't all cucumber like some places. I was really impressed and upset that I had just blown this place off before because it was tucked back out of the way. I have not experienced the slower service some others have written in the comments at all, but I'm always eating at non peak times so crowds are never an issue anywhere I go. Would and will definetly be back. Heck after typing this review I will probably go tonight, lol.
We have been coming here since our son was born almost 2 years ago and we absolutely love it! It can get busy at times which makes food take a little longer but that's really expected anywhere you go that gets busy. Amazing food and service.
I’ve been coming here since they opened. I absolutely love this place! It’s consistently good. Definitely makes my “Me” nights so enjoyable. Not too loud. A very calm environment honestly I love coming here! I love my me time.
Amazing food, not a long wait, and good service. I love coming here for lunch or dinner!
Lovely calm little sushi spot. Usually not too busy when we go. The Godzilla roll is great and so is the California roll. Always consistent and we love it. Thank you Kabuki Sushi!
Nice little spot with good prices on their rolls.
Went to Kabuki Sushi for the first time which is surprising since I've lived down the street for nearly a decade. We ordered gyoza, tempura mix appetizer, a katsudon for me, beef udon for The Small, and a bento box (not pictured) for The Tall. The appetizers came in the cutest boat serving dishes. My dish also came with a miso soup which arrived before the appetizers so I went back and forth between them. A little sad the tempura only had one of each vegetable but the batter was perfect so the food was delicious. The gyoza was also perfectly crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. My katsudon seemed at first to be lacking enough katsu but after eating a bit, it definitely was super filling. I wasn't able to finish all the rice and half a katsu strip. The sauce on it was good and they included and extra sauce dish to be able to dip my katsu in. The katsu was yummy, nice and crunchy. The vegetables were a delicious addition to the dish. Overall, the prices weren't bad and was pretty affordable for Japanese food. I'd definitely make this a regular spot for our Japanese fix. If you're in the area, make sure to give this business some love.
This is one of my favorite Sushi bars, they have a lot of good sushi rolls to pick from. The best thing it's also a buffet for only about $25 u can try a very good variety of their apecialty sushi rolls.
The special rolls aren't bad on price and always delicious ended up ordering about 8 rolls with edamame and miso soup

Although the service was slow, the food was very good. The menu has an exceptionally large selection of sushi and sashimi.
Visiting from out of town. The sushi was good nothing exceptional but good. I didnt like the teriyaki chicken but the salmon was delicious! There were not very many people there so the service was quick and We got our food quick. Overall I would eat here again (just wouldn't order the chicken teriyaki).
I actually it came here after work with the friend for some dinner and I'd have to say looks are deceiving. It's very lovely inside actually you wouldn't be able to tell by looking on the outside it's in a very quiet and spacious Plaza. The prices are great here they actually have an all-you-can-eat option that I recommend if you do the math how many sushi rolls you eat versus the all-you-can-eat price is a good bargain and the Sushi is tasty and abundant.
Today two of my daughters and I went to Kabuki Sushi for the first time, and we all liked it. Our only complaint was that they didn't roll the rolls tight enough, so they fell apart trying to pick them up. The key is in the rice. It has to be the right texture and sticky enough to stay rolled together.
We've only ever ordered to go once before and we liked it a lot and from that we decided we should actually have a sit down meal here. Bento pictured with saba shiyoyaki and mixed tempura was pretty good. A little disappointed with the miso soup though (seemed watery) coz everything else was really good.
Nice ambiance, clean environment, decent food, overall a nice place! I went against the grain when coming here for lunch and ordered the Spicy Pork instead of sushi (Everyone thought I was weird). I'm glad I did though as I was craving some comfort food (rice, meat, veggies and a little heat!). Well this place delivered what I was looking for. The veggies were al dente which was a nice touch and the jalapeno's delivered the kick I was looking for! I don't typically venture out into the Antioch area but if I'm ever in that neck of the woods again I'll definitely come back. If you're reading this and your in the area, I you stop by too!
Quiet and quaint spot. Service wasn't excellent or bad. I enjoyed my food and atmosphere while dining. Portions are mediocre and the food was fresh. No fishy smells and temperature inside was pleasurable.
I love the all you can eat at Kabuki. I know for $25 dollars for all you can eat wouldn’t be that great but they use a good amount of raw fish and an array of sushi rolls to choose from. I give it 4 stars because service is hit or miss also in reading reviews on Yelp a long time ago, children are seen coming in and out of the back area which I’ve seen a couple times first hand. Not sure if that’s sanitary.
Love this place... The AYCE is a great deal and they have plenty of rolls to tickle your fancy. Just wish that I didn't have to wait for all my rolls to be made at once and then served, makes the service seem soooooooooo slooooooow! Make it and drop it off so I can get to eating!
The best sushi I have ever had there lobster roll is amazing I got good and drunk off the sake witch was amazingly smooth. The veggie tempora was good with iv only been once I really want to go back and try a lot more of there menu. The good was 5 star but the service was lacking people seated after us got to order first and drinks took 20 minutes to get to us .
Hidden gem in Antioch. Great all you can eat sushi made to order. A little pricey but worth it.

Kabuki Sushi is a go to spot for consistently great sushi. The sushi is top notch. The Spider Roll, 49ers Roll, Dragon Roll, and Lobster Crossing Roll are all delicious, with everything tasting fresh, clean, and full of flavor. The quality is reliable, which makes ordering easy because you know it will be good every time. Service is solid and easy. The staff is always friendly, attentive without hovering, and keeps things moving smoothly. It is a comfortable place to sit, relax, and enjoy the meal without any fuss. We love coming here. It is dependable, tasty, and welcoming.

The food is great, however they take too long to serve your food. Whether it's slow or busy you will spend most of your time waiting. I feel that they do this on purpose when you order "all you can eat," never eating all you can eat here again...
The food was good but not spectacular. Our server was nice and accommodating, but we were seated and unacknowledged for a lengthy time period. That was disappointing, we felt overlooked. The food items we enjoyed were the dragon roll, coconut shrimp, and Salmon. The miso soup was terribly watered down and the crab inside the Spider roll was odd tasting. We don't live in the area and having wonderful Sushi near our home, so we will likely never return due to distance.
I like the place for the food, which is not overly amazing but the service can be better. I come here quite often for lunch and just mind my business because the lady there doesn't really offer customer service...she just takes your order and calls it a day lol Location is good, it's convenient if you are not willing to do the drive.
I ordered 5 sushi rolls and asked for spicy mayo. She said it was in bag? I small cup? I asked for a couple more since the order was for 2 of us and we have a lot of sushi and spent over 45.00 dollars? She said it cost 1.00 now I have no problem paying for extra condiments, but the fact that I only received 1 and had spent I think a lot of money I feel that’s ridiculous. On a side note the sushi was great and fresh.
Service - my girlfriend and I came close to closing time and were the only table in the entire place. The servers were a little too lax in my opinion, especially for the being only one table to tend to. Food - Like other reviews I've read, they are very heavy on the rice. We went the 'all you can eat' route, but were quickly stuffed by the rice. I would buy roll by roll next time. Quality wise, the food was great. The description of the rolls in the menu was accurate and we weren't disappointed with our order at all. Overall I would come back, but as I said before the 'buffet' option isn't worth it. They stuff you with rice. Would have given a solid 4 star if there was better service and less rice use. Highly recommend the 'lobster crossing' roll btw.
I really like this place because of the good service. Every time I go here I'm greeted very friendly and seeded quickly. Last time I went a couple days ago I felt a little off after I eat some food but for the most part the quality of food here is pretty good and the volume is fantastic. I have yet to try the all-you-can-eat but think someday I will have to check that out. It's a clean place and if you ask to put on a certain game you have multiple TVs and are very accommodating.
The food is fresh and good, but the service... The service was friendly but slow. It took about 40 minutes to get or food from the sushi bar, but food from the kitchen wasn't too long of a wait. Also the AYCE sushi is no longer available which was the only reason we went there in the first place and its still shows available on the searches and website. Overall food and prices are 4 star and service 2 star.
This place was pretty dead, but then again if your "open" lighted sign is off, it's hard for people to know you're open. I walked in here wanting to order to do and the waiter seemed "bothered" by it. There were two tables but the people there looked pretty sad. After going through the menu, I ordered a few items to go. As expected the food was made promptly and packaged nicely in the to-go container. The food taste and freshness was good. If I were to compare it with Bluefin or Kobe, I would say make the extra 10 minute drive.
Good casual sushi place: which is to say everything meets but doesn't exceed expectations. Food, portions, and prices were all par for the course.

Been coming here for awhile now but very disappointed today. We ordered 4 rolls and 2 chicken teriyakis for our 2 kids. Rolls came out quick but chicken teriyaki came out 15 minutes later. Unfortunately our kids had to watch us eat our rolls while they waited on their food and one of them actually ate one of our rolls since we had to wait so long. Our 3 year old had to watch us all eat because she's not eating Sushi yet. Not cool and your timing needs to be fixed. Unacceptable. Also we we're the only ones in the restaurant so no excuses on the timing. Also since food came out so late one of the teriyaki meals barely got touched by the kid that ate the sushi. All in all bad experience.
Mediocre food and annoying door dash notifications going off loudly and constantly. The staff is so used to it they don’t hear it, but it’s extremely annoying when you are dining and trying to have a conversation. I would not recommend.
I asked for extra soy sauce because I ordered 2 sushi rolls and there was only 1 packet placed in the bag. As I asked for extra, she said there is already 4 in the bag. But there was not; so the staff lady decided to check the bag and only one was found. Afterwards she asked me, why I need more than 1. It is not that big a of a deal, for an extra soy sauce packet, and extremely rude customer service. Lady is extremely stingy and rude for soy sauce packages! It is crazy.
My husband and I ate here for the first time, and it will be our last. The sushi variety and quality is okay and fair for the price. Customer service was not so great. We were not instructed on how to use the order form, but we figured it out from previous experiences of other AYCE sushi restaurants. It took a long time for our first orders to come out even though there were 2 chefs behind the bar and only one other customer at the time. Our 2nd round of orders took a long time too, and by this time there were 2 other customers. One of our rolls did not make it out with the 2nd round of orders, and we got tired of waiting so we decided to pay for our meal. At the register, we informed the hostess that we had one more roll left on our order, but it was taking too long. She yelled across the room to the chefs, and they looked confused. She then tried to have us stay because they suddenly started working on it. We told her that it has already been 1hr and 15minutes since we arrived and that we wanted to leave. She tried to dispute it by referring to the order receipt which showed the time our order was taken (30minutes AFTER we arrived.) This restaurant is extremely slow, and they had the nerve to dispute their customer's complaint. I am glad that we stopped here only in passing and that there are other great sushi restaurants to choose from.
Horrible service. My family and I sat at the table for over 15 minutes waiting for the server to return to take our orders. We attempted to get his attention and he seemingly ignored us. We asked another staff person to get his attention and he responded “one minute”. We eventually gave up and just left. Even the people standing at the door waiting to be seated we’re tired of waiting. The resturant is empty and now I understand why. James 11/11/19 5:30pm
I normally don't give a review, but I just gotta give one for this. I love sushi & ramen. Lately, I've been buying Japanese food from SF (Japantown) & one in Pittsburg (Ramen 101). I bought one here cuz I want to try new places. I came in around 7:30 pm 05/12/22. Place: Looks nice although the shop is covered w/ bamboo. Lady in front: She's fine. Nicer than the front staff at Lone Tree Buffet. Cost: $40+ for all of them. Waiting Time: Almost 30 mins. There was 3 customers who picked up their orders before me & only one family was eating when I got there. Food: Unfortunately, this is just terrible. Teriyaki beef is very difficult to chew. I forced myself to finish it cuz I don't want to waste money. The veggies & sushi that comes along w/ teriyaki beef taste good btw. I was excited to try the other two sushi. When I tried the two sushi, it wasn't fresh & felt like chewing a bubble gum. I ate sushi plenty of time at Sacramento (Sushi Hook) & SF. They are so good. But this? It makes me sad that I wasted my money. As for the coconut shrimp, maybe it's just me. I gave it a try & didn't like it. It's fine compared to the others thou. I probably dislike the coconut. Overall, I hope my experience doesn't discourage others. Give this a try if you want. As for me, I'm not giving it a try anymore. I can only afford giving $4 tip so I had them for take out.

Worst sushi place ever!! I paid $15 for this garbage!
Over the phone they were short and nonprofessional but I thought it was a cultural thing, no. When I went inside it was the same energy. However I stayed since I’ve door dashed before so I knew the food would be good. When it was time to pay she snatched the receipt and the woman who brought the food out snatch her hand back as if I was too disgusting to touch. NEVER AGAIN
The customer service is very bad and their food isn’t all that great. I would not recommend to eat here you’re just going to waste your money with a bad stomach ache. Their fish on their sushi had a smell instead of customer service I was denied. Don’t come to this place .
