Online ordering has been a lifesaver over the pandemic. Our food is ready on time and our order is always correct. Bonus star for the free cookies!
Delicious and fresh! You will spend on the average of $10 per sandwich but it is well worth it. Staff is also really friendly.
Went on a bike ride and stopped by and picked up a couple of sandwiches. They were great! I think it was called the big jake?? Turkey with avocado and we added cranberry to it. Will be back!

Reminds me of the old smell you would get when you go into a Togo's back in the day like in the early 90s that fresh sandwich smell with that like Chris bacon and Meat and Deli really fresh who tastes good people are nice

I just love this place! The sandwiches are delicious and the staff is wonderful! There is no inside seating due to covid but the outside seating is perfect! Definately a must go!

Just discovered this place. The staff greets you upon entry and they're so nice. An employee helped me with menu since I couldn't read the sign. I got the reuben which was really good but didn't have thousand island I think and I've also tried the french dip which was good. They're very clean, fast, and convenient. They're a little pricier for sandwiches but appreciate the overall experience and quality. I would recommend it. I think I may dine in one day.
I made the common mistake that mom's make thinking they have more time than they actually do! I ordered lunch for our daughter and I before hopping in the shower and head to work, and then I realized if I went to go pick it up, I would be running late for work. Unfortunately I didn't choose the delivery option I chose the pick up option I called the store and spoke to the manager Cynthia and explained to her the pickle I was in. Cynthia went out of her way to drop off our lunches so I wouldn't be late for work not only did she do that but she didn't charge me a dime I offered to get her Starbucks gift card or something to compensate for her time and gas and she said no worries! I am still in shock of how great she overexceeded customer service this is what we need more of in the world customer service going above and beyond to make the customers happy. Because of Cynthia I will make sure I only support this location. Thank you so much Cynthia you're an amazing manager.

These sandwiches are delicious; however, they need more meat and length based on the cost per square inch.
Service good, but the Brentwood store is better. Food is good and I order online and the sandwich or salad is always ready when I arrive. Sometimes the wait to get to pick up the order takes longer than ordering on line.
Decided to stop by while in the area and got the $10 truly vegan sandwich on sourdough in Sammie size, along with a free mini-sized kickin’ chicken on wheat bread thanks to a promotion they had going, and they were both pretty good! It’s just a bit pricey for what you get, but other than that I don’t have many gripes with the location. The interior is nice, the workers were quite accommodating, the ingredients are fresh, and they have a great selection of vegetarian and non-veg sandwich configurations in addition to being able to make your own!

Mr pickles has an excellent salad but their chicken sandwich is just ok. There is nothing that sets it apart. They are skimpy on the produce and their cheese variety is limited. I am not at all tempted to try any other sandwiches. For that price i expect an excellent sandwich.
Great tasting food, but very poor customer service. The woman at the counter acted really put out that she had to answer any questions my husband had about the menu. She made it obvious she was not going to be helpful, while acting irritated, and short.
Love the sandwiches, ordering process, etc. Except, it looks like the prices of the sandwiches have increased by over $2 lately and I cannot justify spending $13+ on a 6" sandwich, which is now significantly higher than the competition. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to cut back ordering from Mr. Pickles and I really do love the place otherwise. I'll come back as a customer if the prices are lowered.
Was kinda bummed last time I went. They used to make me an off menu sandwich that one of the employees (At that location) turned me on to. This time I asked and was told that they wouldn't make it. The sandwich I ordered was good but it wasn't what I came in for.
Skimpy portion on my roast beef sandwich. It is the 1st Mr. Pickels that have ever happened to me.
They are okay but not worth it for the price. Subway or Safeway is a better option. I heard people bragging about how good it is so I tried it. Its nothing special and pretty expensive for a sandwich.
Sandwiches were good, but they all had two slices of meat each. Burger King has more meat. I typically go to sandwich shops because the meat is piled on. That hasn't been the case lately. Great food and staff but when it says they are open til 7pm they should be open until 7pm. Arrived at 640 and our food was wrapped to go and told we could not dine in. WTH?

The service at this location is always lackluster. I tried to save time by doing an online order. They didn't even begin fulfilling my order until I went to pick it up, almost 20min later Last time at this location. Brentwood Mr Pickles is far superior!

I get if someone is having a bad day but you don’t need to take it out on customers. The sandwich was sloppy, barely any toppings and the rest of the staff barely stepped in when the man helping me clearly seems to hate helping people. Do not recommend this place unless you want rude interactions and a mediocre sandwich.

Ordered a BLT all I got was two pieces of bred and bacon ? No lettuce or tomato? And no mayo ? Busy on the road so I stopped for a bite . Big mistake never again for sure .
If I could give negative stars I would. Just started eating the sandwiches I paid $13 for and the bread is so hard I could throw it against the wall and put a hole in it. Had to pick the cheese off because it is also hard. Everything taste like it’s gone bad. Even my fountain drink tastes like what I can imagine flavored dish water to be. Oh and thank you for the rock hard cookie. I’m sure I could draw on the sidewalk like calk, it is so hard.
I ordered 2 sandwiches. The 1st one was made incorrectly and lettuce had to be wiped off the bread, and meat. The 2nd was made correctly, but the bread was stale and hard. I don't mean a little stiff, I mean hard as a rock!.. It was inedible. We order from Mr Pickles all the time and this was the 1st time I've ever had to complain about the order. Ordering from Doordarsh isn't cheap. I spent $40. on food that was thrown away, and I am furious.
Ordered the "Mr Pickles" hot sandwich, which was served barely-warm. The sandwich itself was really subpar for the price. Poor quality chicken and toppings on soggy bread. Offered a piece of the chicken to my dog and he didn't even want it. You could go next door to Grocery Outlet and buy yourself a much better selection of food for the same price.
Decided to go to my favorite sandwich spot while on a back ride. Whoopsies, forgot my mask. Figured I would go in and see if I could still order. I walked in, all 3 guys working saw me. I stood in line for close to 10 minutes, it wasn’t packed, just slow pace I guess. One of the guys says “next”, I walk up to the counter, he says “how can I help you?” I said “hi can I please get a” he cuts me off “I’m sorry, but do you have a mask?” I was surprised he would ask at this point, I’ve already been in line and breathing the same air as everyone..”no sorry, I don’t…”. He refused to take my order. Didn’t refuse me entry or refuse to waste 10 minutes of my time waiting in line, but refused my order or to serve me. I won’t be returning, even after the mandates are lifted
Friday night at 6:20 and the doors are locked staff inside cleaning and apparently they're making too much money to turn down 3 other potential customers that were ahead of me and 2 others that were behind me. Won't be going there anymore will also be telling the people I know that they're better of going to Lucky's or Raley's. Thanks for the service. I only wish there were less stars 1 seems high to me.
My nephew just tried placing an order for 7 sandwiches for our family but he was turned away because they said it was too many sandwiches and that it was bordering on a catering order. In case you are wondering, this was at the counter and not on the phone so money would have been exchanged in person. Oh and they weren’t closing for another couple hours so it wasn’t like a last minute order. My advice, avoid Mr Pickles in Oakley CA.
Just went to this location and cannot say that I had the best experience. I ordered over the phone and that was easy, and they were very nice. But when I got there in person and tried to use this coupon, they looked at me like I was stupid and the person in charge said they never accept coupons. I showed him the book and the address on the coupon, and even one of the other Employees mentioned that they did see the coupon accepted the other day. The person assisting me Insisted that I was not correct and that they do not accept any coupons whatsoever. Very, very sad to be handled in such a manner. I used to like going here too :(

A girl takes our order, 4 sandwiches, she gets 3 wrong. 1 missing "the works" wife goes in & says it's missing bacon. Zack answers bacon is in the microwave. Mustard gets tossed on the counter, now "The works" are on the counter. "See picture" $80 for 4 sandwiches & we get this, completely disrespectful, I walk in Zach is hiding. A girl corrected 2 sandwiches, she was helpful. Never again. There's better options around. This was in Oakley off Main St. Thanks for your reply: however Manager/Owner: 4 sandwiches were from menu: 1 Mr pickle, 1 listen Linda, 2 clubs. If you're saying things I didn't want: was mustard on 1 Mr pickle. The rest was all missed, 1 club missing "the works"=your menu option, available on all Sandwiches on menu & off menu. Listen Linda was missing bacon, avocado, listed on the menu. That's why Zack placed these items on the counter (or are these items we didn't want?) Getting orders wrong, I get it. As soon as we walk in, we get treated different, after receiving sandwiches were treated disrespectful. By 1 person. Completely unacceptable, all paying customers should be treated the same! This was foul meat if its even meat it smells the bread is stale I paid 15plus dollars for garbage this was supposed to be my dinner but no I actually couldn't eat a bite i wasted 30 min In line for nothing I will get a refund I work way to hard for my money
This location was very rude. I walked in without a mask, and a worker asked if I had a mask. I said no and he forcibly said, get out. I said I have an order already placed and Id like to pay and asked if someone can come out side to get my payment. He replied forcibly "I said get out." I said I would and just wanted to know if they could help me pay for my order. Again he said Get Out. I asked for a manager and he pointed to outside and they said they're right there. I opened the door and looked, no worker was outside. He lied. So I stood with the door open, standing outside and asked, where is the manager? And another worker said, I am. Now, both of these people standing next to each other, both knew the first lied. I asked if I can pay on an Appand then they could bring my order outside and all they could say is we said leave. Not once did they try to suggest any form of assistance. Worst way to interact with a paying customer. They seem to think that by demanding a person wear a piece of cloth over their face that gives them the right to be rude to people trying to support their business. I explained that I have a medical condition that the State of California legally exempts me from wearing a mask at all times and that by discrimination of my medical condition is against the law, they still refused to assist me by allowing some sort of accommodation, even taking my money outside and bringing my food outside was refused. All any of the employees could say was leave. Absolutely abhorrent treatment of a customer by the people representing this establishment.

I’m genuinely disappointed with my experience at Mr. Pickle’s. My sandwich was made by an employee named Josh, and the entire interaction left me shocked. His attitude was unprofessional, and the way he handled the food made me uncomfortable. It honestly made me question the store’s hiring and training standards. I expect basic professionalism and cleanliness when ordering food, and this experience fell far below that. I hope management takes this seriously, because customers deserve better than a low class employee.
I called their published number 3 times to place an order. No answer? Well, since I was driving I wasn’t in a position to go to your app or website. How about simply answering the phone. And, to your point … it wasn’t busy because I eventually arrived at the store and there were 3 employees, no customers.
The Dutch crunch bread almost seriously broke my teeth. It was so rock hard on top. I actually had to pull off the crunchy pieces just so I could eat some of my sandwich very disappointed.
8/3/24 worst service ever. Employees slow and all 4 of our sandwiches were made wrong and were dry. The male employee was an idiot. Seriously won’t come back here. Brentwood and concord locations are way better. Oakley is trash.
Horrible customer service at this location. I won’t be going back. I walked in and stood there for 8 minutes. No other customers were around. No one greeted me or told me it would be a minute. There were three employees working and not one acknowledged I was there. When they finally asked me “what do you want”, I told them a very simple turkey sandwich for my son who is very picky. They made it and I left to drop it off to him at work. He called me and told me that they put some garlic on the sandwich and other condiments I told them I didn’t want. Mind you, they’re 20 minutes away plus the extra 15 minutes to my son’s work. So I basically just threw away a $20 sandwich in the garbage because they couldn’t even make a SIMPLE TURKEY sandwich! This place is way overpriced and the employees suck! Do better! It’s not hard to say hello, I’ll be right with you!

I expect basic professionalism and cleanliness when ordering food, and this experience fell far below that. I hope management takes this seriously, because customers deserve better than a low class employee.
I called their published number 3 times to place an order. No answer? Well, since I was driving I wasn’t in a position to go to your app or website. How about simply answering the phone. And, to your point … it wasn’t busy because I eventually arrived at the store and there were 3 employees, no customers.
The Dutch crunch bread almost seriously broke my teeth. It was so rock hard on top. I actually had to pull off the crunchy pieces just so I could eat some of my sandwich very disappointed.
8/3/24 worst service ever. Employees slow and all 4 of our sandwiches were made wrong and were dry. The male employee was an idiot. Seriously won’t come back here. Brentwood and concord locations are way better. Oakley is trash.
If I could give negative stars I would. Just started eating the sandwiches I paid $13 for and the bread is so hard I could throw it against the wall and put a hole in it. Had to pick the cheese off because it is also hard. Everything taste like it’s gone bad. Even my fountain drink tastes like what I can imagine flavored dish water to be. Oh and thank you for the rock hard cookie. I’m sure I could draw on the sidewalk like calk, it is so hard.
