Opinions de La Ronda Aquiles Serdan
The restaurant was nicely decorated for Valentine’s, food was amazing and the servers (2 males) were very nice and attentive. We definitely will be back. ❤️
Top marks for me mate. The food, service, and appearance. This is what it's all about. You've gotta view the plates here more as family style. At least, that's how I think they're best enjoyed. Otherwise, the desserts and the food portions would be too extravagant. Ok, to start you off, they'll bring sliced bread to your table with butter and a tomatillo salsa. The salsa isn't spicy, like 1/16 of a seedless jalapeno. The bread has a crisp but is still soft. The beef heart appetizer, the anticucho de corazon is fine. They cook it well but the flesh is still too adjacent to a liver for my liking but for those who even mildly enjoy liver, it would be a huge hit. The green salsa you get at the start pairs better than the regular salsa provided. The corn is great. Nice, large, poppable pieces. A great change of pace from the smaller sweet corn. The La Ronda plate and all its components come with my urnest recommendation. I can assuredly say, from what I've tried for the La Ronda, that the paella and the calamari dishes are absolute primo. The ceviche was also great though the fish was a little tiresome. And that's just the food. The service here is the best I've received at the Bay at any price point. That's more of shade on the Bay, but our server was extremely attendant. We were probably visited 2 digit times during our stay.
I was so impressed. We ordered the heart ❤️ & the La Ronda plate. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We came back a second time a month later to order ribs and calamari (pictured). Again, the food was fantastic. However, I was shocked to found out that they charged $4 for extra bland white rice & even more for extra bean 😳 The rib came with rice and bean but we thought we may need more. Bad idea! The cost for rice and bean was almost the same as ordering a new dish.
Love love love this place! We have been wanting to try this and finally made it today. The food was delicious and the staff are so attentive. The portions are large and extremely filling. We did the limp saltado, traditional ceviche and the papa a la huancaina! Everything was so good! We can’t wait to go back!
We decided to try this location based on their menu. We ordered to share: Fried Calamari. We each ordered: Lomo Saltado, Bistec a lo Pobre, Churrasco a la Parrilla, Pollo al Oregano, and Pasta Fruto de Mar. Drinks: Classic Lime Sour (it’s good but not as strong as Limón) and for dessert: Picarones ( delicious). The food is very good and the portions is quite big and the price is reasonable too. This location is perfect for big eaters. Service was also very good. I would definitely come back.
It was really good! They have a outdoor and indoor seating area and really good food. SO FAR ALL OF OUR BEST MEALS THIS TRIP!!! It was a top 5 best meals we have ever had.
I enjoy coming to this place! Saul always remembers me/us and greets us warmly upon arrival! He's the best! Whether it's our work crew getting a bite for lunch to celebrating birthdays, we are always well-served and leaving the place completely stuffed. The loma saltado dishes are the best and you can also get it vegetarian. And of course you need to finish it off with their picarones. La Ronda has become my favorite spot.
The food was tasty and fresh. The stuff were really cute. When you are there tale the pisco sour and tiramisu!
Unique proposal with fresh flavors, tubers and corn. Highly recommended for further exploring cuisines.
The food is next level. We got the Arroz con Pollo and it was amazing. The yuca fries, the papas a la huancaina and chicken empanada were delicious. It will make your tummy happy. Absolutely love the green spicy sauce they give you at the beginning with the toasted bread. Highly recommend!
Authentic and very tasty Peruvian cuisine. I need to go back and keep exploring the menu,
Reproving in place nearby in Foster city San Mateo Rilley happy to try happy to enjoy.
Decor and hospitality were welcoming and bright. Ceviche and Leche de Tigre were fantastic. A bit pricey but absolutely delicious and worth the treat. Lunch was served in great timing and the server was so kind and have great suggestions.
Great variety of Peruvian food. The flavor is very authentic. The portions are generous.
Great food and great service. Had a wonderful time with friends, definitely will come back again. However parking is hard to find due to limited parking, might have to park around the residential area
This is an excellent peruvian restaurant, and conveniently located just off highway 101 and hillsdale. It's a bit expensive but understandable so, given the entrees are very large portions and very high quality. The menu focuses on peruvian seafood but there are some vegetarian and meat options as well. The desserts and cocktails were also delicious, overall I'd definitely recommend for when you want an elegant peruvian spot! Very friendly service too.

Sooo good! The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and the large serving sizes. The seafood was cooked so well; it was very tender and not overcooked. Very nice free bread for the table as well.

Excellent across the board. The food was delicious and came in huge portions, especially the paella. The prices of $20-40 for most entrees are actually very reasonable when you see how much high-quality food you get. Service was great, and the interior is nicely decorated with a pretty relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of open tables at 7 PM on a Tuesday.
Marvelous place - had shrimp ceviche and salad and the marinade and dressing were excellent. White tablecloths dress the place up and service was top notch.

Nice hole in the wall Peruvian restaurant. Great food and attentive staff. A little pricey, but worth it.
Nice Peruvian restaurant. We have been planning to visit and finally made it. It was not busy when we arrived. It is a small restaurant. The interior is clean and nice with white table cloth. They are plenty item on the menu. Price is considered a bit high. You will be served with bread and for the spread , butter, and jalapeno puree mixed. The jalapeno puree is so good. We ordered empanadas, yucca fries, and Los Coros for starter. They are good, but Yucca is a bit tough. We also ordered Los Traviesos (Chevichera) and the main course of paella. I like Paella. It is cooked nicely The Traviesos is also good, and we asked for fried tortilla to be used to scoop it. Overall, it was a good dinner. They don't serve alcohol yet, but they will in the future. You can bring your own wine and as I understand there is no fee.

We called at 6:30 to ask if they had tables open and if we would be able to walk in at 7 with 2 adults and 2 kids. We were told they had a table by the door they would hold for us. We arrived at 7:03 because of traffic, and they had zero tables ready for us. We specifically called because we were traveling with small kids. Just be honest and say no when we call so we can find a place to eat.
