Above and beyond! Sat right at reservation time for family visit. Service was great from start to end. Scallops and calamari apps were delicious and loved the twist on scallops. Steaks were grilled perfectly, ribeye medium as ordered (ny strip one medium rare). Wife got the filet Oscar (off menu special), she loved. Crawfish/shrimp etouffee, spot on Cajun taste. Super cozy atmosphere and even better service, will be back more often living so close!

The last time we visited this restaurant was 27 years ago. It wants to go for the first time. A brand-new experience - again! My wife and I wanted a special place to celebrate our marriage of 32 years. To start with, we shared an Ahi Tuna Poke bowl. Oh My God – that was shockingly delicious! Not a common appetizer. We didn’t know what to expect. My wife ordered the Rainbow Trout. I ordered their famous Prime Rib. The smallest – 8 ounces – was all I could eat. Both entrees were superb. As good as it was 27 years ago. We asked if they had any dessert. None were on the menu. They only had Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream. That too was excellent. The service was the best we’ve had for a local restaurant. We went home incredibly happy. For next year’s anniversary, we’re coming back.

Local place that’s been around for a while. Really nice inside. Great waiting staff. The Cajun shrimp dish was very good. House salad was crisp, lettuce, vinaigrette, dressing, and chunks of blue cheese. Was good. The bread came out hot with soft butter. Hard to resist.

This place was a hidden gem I found on yelp in my area. They have great food. The reviews were right. Everything we had was amazing. My family and I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. The service was excellent. Our waiter had great service for a table of 9. He handled all of our requests. This is definitely a place you need to try. Once you do you will definitely go back.

Fine dining, but not stuffy or overpriced. Waiters are attentive and helpful. Food is well-prepared and tasty. I suggest making reservations during peak hours. Recommended.

Came for the first time and the setting was very nice. Great for a nice quiet meeting or conversation. Service was good they were always helpful. Came during lunch and were able to be seated fairly quick. Will return in the future.

Today I took a ride on the wild side and tried Mac's Bar and Grill for the first time. Good God, im so over the top happy that I did. It was so darn good. Unfortunately I live an hour away from Mac's, so I will more likely never get a chance to go again. If your in the area, Mac's is a wonderful experience. I had the salmon and my friend had the chicken fried chicken. Both were excellent. Mac's Bar & Grill definitely gets two thumbs up.

I’ve grown up coming to Mac’s since it first opened, and it’s always been a family staple. The service is generally good, but during this visit I experienced an issue that I feel could be prevented with better training. Servers at this level of restaurant should be trained to anticipate guests’ to-go needs—things like small condiment cups, a butter cup, bags for bread, and fresh drinks or to-go cups to take home, along with a bag that can hold everything securely without having to ask. I packed up my own items but my server didn’t bring a small cup for the au jus that came with my prime rib, so I poured it over the meat in the container and poured the horseradish in one of the smaller compartments within the large styrofoam container. The server tried to help by placing my containers into the brown paper bag; however, he didn’t notice that when he turned the container at an angle that all of the au jus spilled out, soaked the other containers, and leaked through the bottom of the bag. I didn’t realize this until I got home—after the bag had been sitting on the backseat of my car while we drove around looking at Christmas lights. By then, the au jus had seeped completely through and onto my car interior. Yes, I could have asked for the small containers, but at an establishment like Mac’s, I believe the staff should proactively offer them. This really did put a damper on what had been an otherwise enjoyable experience. I’m sharing this in hopes that the restaurant can improve training so other guests don’t run into similar issues.

We order the grilled sea scallops delicious, my husband order a Steak hamburger he said it wasn't nothing special and I ordered the Grilled salmon and it was undercooked had to send it back, waitress was very nice about it and took it back to get it cooked a little longer. It was delicious ,but it had returned with a hair manager was notified he came to the table and said "I heard there was a tiny hair in your plate" made me feel like I was over reacting small or big it's still a hair and it wasn't mine. They did give me a free drink ,but I don't think I'll be returning very disappointed I wanted to love this place.

I recently visited this restaurant hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, I left quite disappointed. While the ambiance was nice, and the service was decent, the food just didn’t live up to expectations. To start, the menu seemed promising, but the dishes we ordered were underwhelming at best. The fish special lacked flavor, bland and poorly seasoned. The green beans that came with the meal were the star of the dish. For the price of the meal, I was expecting something phenomenal. Overall, I can’t say I would return anytime soon, especially with so many other dining options around that offer much better meals. I hope the restaurant can take this feedback seriously and work on improving their food quality, as the service and atmosphere were the only redeeming qualities of the experience.
