Opinions de Moni's Pasta & Pizza Arlington
Absolutely the best pasta I’ve ever had! The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is simply amazing. Every bite was delicious — I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! 🤤🍝
North Arlington Italian fix, come here. You could also just go for the tiramisu. Chicken was a little over but the sauce was perfect.
I really love the Gluten free pizza! I tell them to make it with all the vegetables and it’s so delish! Take home what you can’t eat and the next day microwave 2 pieces for one minute only and it tastes just like it’s fresh again! (the pic is next day!) I’ve been told next time to try the gluten free pasta so that’ that will be soon! Love you guys- especially Mama!
Amazing food and service. We love this little family restaurant. Bring you wine.
Thanks to MONI’s for making our Family Christmas Dinner such a Great experience! From making my Reservation for a party of 15, having our table ready in a separate room from the main dining area & having Pedro as our server! He was exceptional, so accommodating & friendly. Everyone’s order was delicious from stuffed mushrooms, large fresh Caesar salads, garlic bread cheese bread, All the pizzas and pasta dishes, all were so good, we topped all that off with Tiramisu that was the BEST we have had since going to Italy🇨🇮 Thanks to Pedro, kitchen staff & Management for giving us a Wonderful Experience! Merry Christmas from the Donnini Family 🎄🍕🍝🥗
Stopped I'm for a late lunch and everything was very good. Chicken Rotinni, and Chicken Marsala were excellent. Hot, fresh. Service was perfect and the restaurant was very clean. Reasonable prices. The Italian music wasnt on for a while which allowed us to hear a small disagreement in the back with some employees but it added to the charm of this place being family owned and operated. We will be back . I'm trying the chicken parm next!
I have twice been a guest at group parties held at Monies in the private side room. Each time was a wonderful experience. Servers were attentive, food was awesome and atmosphere was fun with murals on the wall. A great place to host a group for any occasion!
Been going here for probably over twenty years. There's a reason this restaurant thrived even during Covid- loyal customers kept it going with a robust takeout business. We look forward to our Friday nights here with a bottle of wine and the meatball dishes, pizza or veal (my favorite.) Mama's crew is the absolute best and this is a North Arlington landmark!
Moni's is one of my favorite places to get pizza in all of Arlington. They have really good Italian dishes as well but it is super tough for me to ever buy them because the pizza is so good it's what I usually get when I go. B.Y.O.B. with a nice covered patio.
Plenty of parking. You walk on, smell homemade bread. Ahhh. The staff are excellent. Dozens of visits, my family has zero complaints, except you really don't want to leave. Pizzas were spectacular. Wife and son have devoured just about every pasta dish. If you go off-hours when it's not full, you start to talk and everyone stops to smell what is coming out of the oven. Amazing place.
Everything about this place is wonderful. The food is the best Italian around and the people that work here take you in like family from the moment you walk in the door. This will be our regular Italian stop now! No more Olive Garden or Spaghetti Warehouse for us! P.S. Try the pink sauce... it will not disappoint.
The food was delicious Pizza is on point cook and prepared just like you like it! In the owner she is so nice and polite is unreal beautiful lady! We came from Houston Texas vacationing in Arlington Texas.
This is a very enjoyable family-run Italian restaurant with a good selection and reasonable prices. Some of my favorites are the Caesar salad, the veal cremora, the mozzarella sticks, the stromboli, and the chicken parm.
It was our first time eating here. The staff was friendly and attentive even though it was very busy when we came in. The food was so delicious that I can't wait to go again.
Cozy, quick and family friendly. Eating here felt like we had stepped into a home. We love the casual yet professional interactions with the staff and owner. The food was incredible, the marinara on the spaghetti is probably one of the best I’ve ever enjoyed. What maybe stood out more though than the food, atmosphere and prices is just how fun it is to dine here. We loved it and we will be back. If you are looking for a great Italian place, look no further than Moni’s.
the food was great?, the prices are very reasonable and the customer service and atmosphere is wonderful a must eat place owned by family
PHENOMENAL! I’m so glad we chose to go here instead of Olive Garden. It was 10 times better and 20 bucks cheaper than what we normally spend for the same amount. Our server, Pedro, was excellent and the atmosphere was great! The food was amazing and the tiramisu was perfect!
The place is in an old strip shopping center and the inside is fairly plain. BUT, the prices were quite reasonable for what was served, and the, waitress did an excellent job.
We recently ordered take-out pasta with meatballs, ziti and salad for a team celebration and were delighted with our experience! As a local, family-owned business ourselves, we wholeheartedly recommend Moni's Pasta & Pizza to everyone in Arlington, Texas, and beyond. Whether you're craving a memorable pizza, a comforting pasta dish, or simply a welcoming dining experience, Moni's delivers on all fronts. Prepare yourself for an extraordinary culinary journey that will leave you with a smile and a satisfied appetite. Thank you, Moni's Pasta & Pizza, for delighting our taste buds and exemplifying the spirit of local businesses in Arlington. We eagerly look forward to our next meal and continuing to support your remarkable establishment. Sincerely, The Team at Joe Hall Roofing
Had been a while since we last ate at Moni's and they did not disappoint. Great food. Great service. We will be back again for date night.
As someone of italian heritage and a former New Yorker I am always searching for the best Italian restaurants. Moni's felt like home and the food was very very good. The owners make an effort to show their appreciation as well. I can't believe how low their prices are considering the quality and taste. And it's BYOB?!? What a gem. Make sure you come and check it out. You'll definitely want to come back again.
We have been going to Moni's for years! Their pizza is probably some of the best in Arlington! Everything about it is amazing! They give you complimentary rolls and butter before your meal that are delicious! Moni's marinara sauce is out of this world! As you can see, we truly love this place!!!
Such an authentic family restaurant. Great food and the prices are so reasonable. And it’s BYOB! We have so many choices for Italian but it’s the best around!
Best pasta ever! Excellent tiramisu. This is all accompanied by very friendly service! Will definitely be back!
Incredible. Amazing flavor, prompt and attentive service. The food is absolutely phenomenal. I'm so glad this place is here. A real gem.
Moni's Pasta & Pizza - Arlington Moni's Pasta & Pizza - Arlington is currently located at 1730 W Randol Mill Rd. This is the best Italian Restaurant there is.. This family owned business is so outstanding, you're treated like you're one if there families. We even call them momma and papa. When we walk in the door they ask how are we doing and give us a very big hug. The food is like we was back in Italy. Thank you momma and papa not only for great food but treating us like we was part of your family. They will make your favorite pizza, pasta, salad, and so more. Cindy, Richard and Zenobia
Outstanding food and service! The staff makes everyone feel welcome. We always have a great time!
Absolutely delicious homeade Italian food! The pink vodka sauce is incredible!!! Great find
Great food, very nice and welcoming staff. Great prices, you cant go wrong.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely delicious — I’m officially a Moni’s fan for life! I’m not even a pasta person, but the shrimp fettuccine I had here changed the game for me. It was rich, flavorful, and still tasted fresh when I ate the leftovers (and yes, I brought extra sauce home just to reheat it right). My husband had the seafood pasta — also amazing — and we shared the fried calamari, which was top-tier. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the seafood was fresh, light, and not overly heavy or greasy. Service? Impeccable. We came in during a slower time, but you wouldn’t have known it — the servers moved with urgency, knew the menu well, and treated us like our experience mattered. That alone sets Moni’s apart. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, like eating a meal in someone’s home (in the best way). It honestly felt like someone’s grandmother was back there cooking — and I wouldn’t be surprised if that were true. The prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality and portion sizes. Plenty of parking, kid-friendly, and definitely a place I’ll be returning to. Whether it’s date night or a family outing — Moni’s Pasta & Pizza is on repeat now.
Food was really good! We have been twice. For dinner (byob) My son and I had the shrimp Tuscany special and hubs had carbanara. Servings are large! When we went for lunch we split a Cesar salad & medium pizza. Still had half a pizza to take home! Quickly becoming one of our favorite places.
I love when you find a place to dine that makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door From the people to the decoration it a family love vibe in this place I started with cheesesticks and cheese garlic bread Both were great Had the lasagna and chicken parm Cheese, Great meat sauce and it was nice and hot I did see from a far someone's calzone and pizza both I will go back to try
Today was my first time dining here. My daughter treated me to lunch. The waitress was very nice and attentive, and took our order quickly. The food arrived quickly as well. I was very happy with the quality of the food. I ordered the chicken parmesan, and my daughter ordered the pasta with the vodka sauce. Both were extremely delicious, and the portions were very large. We finished off our meal with the Lemoncello cake, and espresso. During our meal there was a gentleman who I assume owns this nice place that refilled my tea, he was a very pleasant guy. I really enjoyed this dining experience, and I’ll definitely return.
I was impressed. It's a really nice mom and pop place. Family friendly. Very attentive staff. They have a lot of people to serve you. Large kitchen staff. Everyone was moving. They handled a Friday night very well. The food was very good with large portions. The price is fair. I will be returning.
This place is Phenomenal. I grew up in Europe and my favorite restaurant was a little pizza place that made brick oven pizzas right by my house. Ever since moving back to the states I have been on a never-ending journey for a good Italian place. Our server was fast and attentive, our food fresh and hot. The pizza was perfect, the alfredo was absolutely out of this world. My wife's favorite restaurant is Olive Garden and i proposed to her at one. Moni's won her over instantly. Never again will we go to a chain for our Italian when this Gem of a restaurant is right here. I got to meet the owner's son while I was there. His care for his customers was evident in every action he made. I left feeling full both emotionally and physically. This is how a dining experience should be. We will be back and soon!
Absolutely amazing family restaurant. My family goes there very frequently. The owners are absolute dolls and so sweet. The food is amazing and I love that it is BYOB.
Found this place on a Google search, and it did not disappoint! This place is not big but has lots of character. Food was great, and even though they had several large parties, the service was on point and with a smile. We come to the area frequently, and we will definitely be back.
Good food overall, very lively, owners are very nice and involved in your experience. Only thing to note is that the garlic cheese bread tastes like it was frozen, not fresh. Everything else was good!
We heard this place had gluten free options, and my girlfriend doesn't get to go to Italian places often so we stopped in. The place is BYOB so we brought a bottle, and a man came to our table to open it. Nice guy, talked about good stuff on the menu and so on, super friendly. As he walks away my girlfriend asks his name, it was Moni. Great atmosphere, good food, and fast service. It's also a great place to call in a pizza to pick up on a busy weeknight.
**Arguably the best restaurant in Arlington, everything considered.** Really, it’s more of a community, a tiny little Italian villa somewhere in the Tuscan hills. The food and service are very good at Moni’s. And the prices are reasonable too. But, what really makes them unique is the ubiquitous presence of their owners and family. Always happy, warm and welcoming. And, the hot rolls! It’s like going to your Italian grandmother’s house for dinner.
This is a great little Italian restaurant, right out of a song. BYOB, so they always have the wines you want. Great owners and staff. They will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Please, if you want pizza for takeout, call them directly. They will provide you with the same order, but you won't have to split the cost with a large web company. Keep it local.
My wife and I came here for our 12 year wedding anniversary. We started off with Mushrooms Gratinata (stuffed mushrooms) for our appetizer. I will now start making my stuffed mushrooms like theirs. My wife ordered Chicken Florentino, and I ordered the Tortellini Michelangelo. My mind was blown by how good my food was. Mia, our server was awesome, she took good care of us. If you have never come to Moni's do yourself a favor and get over here and get some good Italian food.
Family run. Extensive menu (heavily Italian leaning) I chose the veal Parmesan. The veal was about 7" in diameter. It also had a generous portion of spaghetti on the plate. Delicious and filling. (Both were covered in marinara sauce. Also in the picture is my wife's cheese pizza.) Important: BYOB!
Oct 2022 We had a party of 12 and they took great care of us. I ordered the lunch special with Lasagna & Salad and had Fried Calamari. Food was good. 2018 Had a late lunch with friends on a Sunday afternoon and ordered the lasagna. It was reasonably priced and was a huge portion. I took half of it home. I also tried the fried calamari we ordered together. It was really good. Everyone's dishes looked great. At 3:00 pm, people were still trickling in. I've been back and forth in this area for 15 years and the other restaurants in this shopping center have come and gone, but Moni's has stuck around.
1st of all the food, astonishing! The customer service was absolutely delightful! The atmosphere made me feel at home. The smell of the food that was being made in the back made me even more hungry than I was before my arrival. Also, EVEN the customers are great. Some customer came up to us and wished me a happy birthday! The owners sure know what they’re doing. Spreading love the Italian way!!! 😘🍕🍝
We tried this place yesterday and it was GREAT! Soon as you enter, the aroma of the food makes your stomach growl. We only tried the pizza and cheesy garlic bread and loved it. Will be back to try other things on the menu. We went on a Tuesday around 6pm and it was pretty full. I love that you can bring your own wine. It’s a family restaurant and they all are very kind.
We celebrated my mother’s birthday at Moni’s, our first time at this restaurant, and were so impressed with the attentiveness of the wait staff, ambiance (cozy, intimate, casual), and the food! The red sauce used for the cannelloni was insanely delicious, as authentic as you could ask for. The tiramisu and cannoli were delicious sweet treats as well. Bring your own bottle of wine and check this place out!
Doni was our server. Food was hot and delicious. You need to try the Seafood Alfredo. Great sauce that was extremely creamy. Had Mussels for my appetizer. My date had the Cicken Parmesan. We brought our own wine also. Very clean and nicely decorated. Popular place with several guest either having dine in or picking up pizza.
I had the Chicken Aristocrat which was FABULOUS! The staff treated us like family. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. Obviously there are a LOT of regulars in this restaurant for good reason. I really liked how I could bring in my own bottle of wine. Made it seem even more like home. The pasta & pizza delicious! Highly recommended
I ordered the shrimp scampi and the veal parmigiana both very filling and tasty dishes. I really liked the cheesy garlic bread. I had a cup of water with my meal and everything was great for service to paying out. Would come back but I live in Dallas so if you’re in/around Arlington come here.
This was my first visit to Moni's Pasts & Pizza, and it didn't not disappoint! It has a casual vibe, but personal; which I love. From the hostess to the wait staff, everyone was do kind and attentive. And I ordered the special, lobster ravioli with the pink sauce 😋... so good! Everything was hot and cook fresh, or at least it seemed like it was. I say this place is a hidden gem, and I will definitely be returning.
We had our wedding party catered from here, and the food was absolutely amazing! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it and I’m still getting texts about how delicious the food was. We kept things simple with lasagna and pizza, and it was a total hit, everyone loved it. Delivery was right on time, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend!
Absolutely love the people, food, and the overall feeling of being with family in this restaurant. Even if you just drop it in to pick up a Pizza or staying for full meal. I anticipate you'll enjoy. The pizza toppings always taste freshly sliced and our great quality vegetables in meats. A pasta is al dante and the breads are wonderful, and the sauce too!
My family and I recently visited Moni's Pasta & Pizza in Arlington and had an amazing experience. There were 9 of us, and the atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable, and perfect for a family dinner. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Chicken Aristocrat, and the creamy sauce was absolutely incredible — rich, savory, and clearly homemade. The chicken was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. You can really taste the authenticity in their food. What made the experience even better was the service. The family running the restaurant was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. It’s rare to find authentic Italian food that tastes homemade without breaking the bank, but Moni’s definitely delivers. Everyone in our group loved their meals. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend that y’all check them out!
Monis delivered amazing service and delicious food! Food and prices are great, portions generous. They went above and beyond for us and even served us late without hesitation. We felt truly welcomed and appreciated. Highly recommend! Will definitely eat here again in the future.
We've been coming here for decades. It's always constantly great and a good value. I ordered the seafood special. It was good but I think I like the linguine and clams better. There are so many great dishes. The pizza is wonderful.
Just had dinner on my wife’s birthday. We go here often and the food is top notch, generous portions, and reasonabl. Owners are fantastic and remember you when you come back. It’s our go to spot for a dinner of two or eight and never disappoints. Saw a recent poor review that stated just the opposite of our past and present experience. Some people can be super demanding while giving nothing back. I doubt seriously that Monis will miss the the apparent entitled reviewer.
My family and I love Moni's. The atmosphere is great! Mama runs this restaurant with so much heart and passion and makes you feel like you're part of the Moni's family. The staff is first class. Luke and Pedro are the best. The food is to die for and so much better than Olive Garden. Moni's is always our first choice when dining with family and friends.
My friend and I came here yesterday for lunch. The place has such a homey feel to it, very authentic. Our server Austin was very friendly and attentive. My eggplant Parmesan was very good. I really enjoyed it. Garlic cheese bread was good as well, just wish it had marinara sauce to go with it. Overall great, will return next time when we are in town.
The food is fantastic, but the SERVICE?? Best customer service everytime I go. It is ran by a sweet sweet family. My food was hot coming out & it was delicious. Super generous portions that could easily feed you for 2/3 days. My all time favorite lowkey Italian spot. I hope they never go out of business bc they are the best in town. If I could give this place 10 ⭐️’s I would!
amazing experience! our server Austin was very helpful and fun, and did not mind when we asked him to bring extra things. we went around 3pm on a wednesday so the atmosphere was chill and quiet. our plates had big servings, we ate about half of our food before we decided we were full. my mom ordered the rigatoni vodka with chicken and it was AMAZING and perfectly creamy. i ordered the eggplant parm and it was also amazing, my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. my mom also ordered a cappuccino which was delicious (and very strong). we will definitely be returning!
What a great find! We’re from out of town and wanted a place to feed the kids but also a place with good food. Mono’s does not disappoint! The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a neighborhood Italian restaurant. The homemade rolls are delicious. Hubby and son shared a shrimp scampi. Me and the girls ordered a supreme pizza. OMGoodness- this place is phenomenal! A local told me that she and her family have been coming here for 30 years! This will definitely be a stop for us next time we are traveling through Arlington.
Great mom and pop restaurant! Good food and good service. Very kind staff is worth a whole lot nowadays. My wife says the chicken Alfredo pasta is better than Olive Garden. Great pizza. Is not my favorite pizza but it is right there on the top. We invited some friends and they LOVED it. They serve you some fresh bread rolls and you can ask for some olive oil with garlic and herbs. Soooo gooood.
First time dining in and the atmosphere itself said it all for me. Very nice restaurant at the end of shopping center! Kind of old school atmosphere with old school service. Wonderful wait staff along with whom I am guessing is either the manager or owner going around greeting and talking to the customers. We had the Lasagna, salad and egg plant parmesan and all of the food was PERFECT! Just as important, the price.....we got 2 excellent meals, with leftovers, for $30. If you like Italian food, you have to give Moni's a try. Guaranteed you will want to go back!!
This is one of those restaurants that has prevailed against the test of time. Their menu is large, ensuring they will satisfy any pizza and pasta cravings you have. Their spaghetti sauce is textbook great and the pizza size is larger than labeled. The pizza on the pic is a medium but can easily pass for large. Parking is great, the surrounding inside gives off great vibes and helps your appetite.
Food was amazing and customer service was the best i've ever had! Alyssa was amazing and welcoming. 10/10 will for sure come again

Tina is a great server! Great food. Even the plain cheese pizza was a wow! Update 6 months later. Got a 4 topping small pizza. Taste good but Cost me $15 i think that's a bit much. I wish i would've asked for the total before i got off the phone. I would've canceled. I dont like the onions they put on the pizza because they aren't chopped up like a pizza topping. They're thick and chunky so they didn't cook all the way
Not celiac safe for gluten free. I was very disturbed to be told that their pizza would be safe from cross contamination because the oven is over 800°. This is factually wrong science. Gluten would have to be cremated for at least half an hour to break down the protein into its component amino acids. This means the regular wheat pizza that was in the same spot merely a couple minutes ago will still transfer crumbs onto the gluten free pizza. Some people with this disease may choose to accept that intestinal damage and risk immediate symptoms, but my family prefers not to be poisoned. Owners, as kind as you are, please take the time to better educate yourself on this subject before spreading misinformation and risking making your customers sick. But the atmosphere was charming, the staff friendly, and the pasta dishes with and without gluten were a hit.
Ordered Pizza and I must say it was quite delicious. The only issue I had was I parked right in front of the establishment and waited until the advised time my order would be ready, not sure if owner or manager stood on the fence of the outside patio smoking and just watched us. When I went in for my order he also went in and went directly toward where I was. It felt disturbing.
Pretty good food, friendly service but a bit unattentative.
All my children had to say was, "Yum!" We had the homemade garlic bread with cheese and Alfredo sauce to dip it in for our appetizer. So crispy, perfect garliciness. Then I requested a small margherita pizza with mozzarella and basil. It came out tomatoes and garlic and was delicious! My son ordered cheese and all the kids agreed it was scrumptious as well. They continued to dip the pizza in the Alfredo sauce. Two others ordered the "pizza pocket" not realizing how big a calzone is! They dug in enjoying bites with the side of marinara. But the liked it with the Alfredo too! The last kid had the lasagna. It was also delicious with lots of sauce and cheese. I wish we had room for dessert but we were stuffed with plenty to take home! They gave us good pizza boxes and containers for the sauces and lasagna. Friendly staff. It took a while before anyone waited on us, but once they got to us everything was well done.
We were having a lazy Saturday evening. I had just gotten off from working late and didn't feel like cooking. So we decided to look for Pizza and landed on this place after some Google searches. We placed our order and after picking it app and getting home, we realized that the Pizza had very fresh toppings on it and I think if we could have eaten it in the restaurant it would have been a little better because by the time we got home the Pizza was cold, so we had warm it up in the microwave, which kind of made it a little more soggy, but other than that, the toppings were fresh, and plentiful. I do wish it had been cooked a little bit longer, so the dough wasn't soggy in places because of all the fresh toppings, but it was a good pizza and I think next time, we will go inside and sit and eat.
Came to celebrate a graduation. We had a pleasant meal with family. It was our first time. What attracted us was the byob. I love not having to pay a bottle's worth for a glass of wine. And I knew since we were celebrating that our whole table would enjoy some wine. They provide wine glasses and open your bottles. We really enjoyed most of the food (pizzas and lasagnas) except for my Chicken Castellini. The sauce tasted watered down and my dish felt soupy because of the excess amount of sauce. But other than that, everyone else enjoyed their dishes. The prices are pretty fair.I will definitely try to come back.

Disappointing and misleading. I just moved here from New York a few weeks ago and have been craving a good pizza ever since. I was excited to try this place because their menu claims they serve brick oven pizza — but that’s simply not true. There’s no brick oven, no wood fire — just a standard stainless steel propane or induction-style oven. If you're looking for authentic brick oven pizza, you’ll want to look elsewhere. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
My grandma was specifically told that there was no gluten in any of the food she was fed, but she is throwing up blood right now thanks to them. If you or someone you know has a allergy, do not eat here.
Lg pizza, one topping, $18 bucks is a rip. It’s not that good and if anyone recommends Moni’s I would say pass for me. $8-$10 at best.
HORRIBLE owner. Rude, unprofessional, with ZERO idea of how to treat customers. We were just there for my sister’s college graduation. We were originally expecting 18 people but one of the parties were unable to make it last minute and we ended up with 13 people. We would have happily paid for the 18 people but before we were given a chance to offer, the owner BERATED my sister (on her graduation!) saying that it was her fault she had missed out on being able to rent out the room to a larger party. She then demanded a large tip for her server. We always tip well. Again, the fact that she demanded it before we were given a chance to do it out of our own volition was horrible, disrespectful, and humiliating. It would be one thing to act as stuck up if the food was good. But the food was bland at best and disgusting at worst. The only redeeming part of the night was the server who was attentive and courteous and deserves to work somewhere of higher caliber. Will never come back.
