If I can give a higher rating I would, Moka & Co in Astoria did not disappoint at all. The service was amazing, everyone was super sweet, and the pastries were even better. I would recommend the pistachio croissant and the coconut entrement. There were people studying as well, I would definitely come back and I would hands down recommend this cafe!

Amazing Service at Moka & Co! Moka & Co is such a warm and welcoming spot — the drinks are always on point, the pastries are fresh, and the vibe is perfect whether you’re studying, hanging out, or grabbing something quick. But what really made my visit special was Hafsa. She’s truly the best! So friendly, professional, and attentive. She made sure everything was perfect and her positive energy made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back because of her great service!

Absolutely wonderful, attentive and kind service. I ordered a matcha, and it tasted absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! My partner ordered a pistachio matcha latte, however he’s not used to the taste of matcha. Our barista Yusuf immediately noticed and offered to give him a regular pistachio latte. It was delicious.

It was me and my wife's first time here. We were greeted right away with a smile by the barista Yousef. He made the coffee fast and efficiently and also chatted with us. The coffee, tea, cakes, and pastries (especially the pistachio one) were all absolutely delicious. They also sell souvenirs like mugs and bags, which make great gifts. The space inside is open and spacious, creating a nice atmosphere. However, I found the service to be a bit lacking. That was the only downside of an otherwise great visit.

This was my first time at a Yemen coffee shop, and I didn’t know what to expect. I heard they have awesome pistachio lattes and pastries. For drinks, we tried the pistachio latte, mango dragon fruit refresher, and mocha spice latte (hot). I liked the pistachio latte, but it was a bit too sweet; the coffee and pistachio flavors were nice together. The mango dragon fruit refresher was way too sweet for me, so I wouldn’t recommend it, but maybe you can ask for less sweetness. The mocha spice latte was decent, so I’d recommend that. For desserts, we got three items. They didn’t have names displayed, so I don’t remember them all. The pistachio roll cake had fresh fruits in it and was surprisingly good and refreshing. It was a nice combo, but definitely on the sweeter side. My favorite was the Dubai chocolate pistachio cake—IT WAS SO GOOD! It tastes so much better than it looks. I highly recommend it! We also tried the bee bits, one of their signatures. I can’t really describe the taste, but it’s unique in both flavor and texture, with cream cheese and honey. It’s not my top pick, but I’d say give it a try!

Literally disgusted at what they serve their pastries on. These expensive pastries were served on wet plates that were beyond dirty. The service was even worse. I asked the server what flavor one of the circular croissants was, he stated he wasn’t sure. I asked him if the pistachio croissant was stuffed, he stated no when indeed it was. I also asked for a slice of Biscoff Tres Leches on the display and he tells me it’s frozen and he can’t give me. Why is it on display then? The Adeni chai was great though.
