Great, personable staff. Drinks are fairly priced for NYC and have specials (Beer w/Shot for $10). All the dart boards you could ask for, board games on the side, and plenty of TVs to watch a variety of sporting events. They don't serve food, but you can bring in your own food, and the nearby options are excellent!

Nice bar with a friendly staff. Went there on their Friday karaoke night. They let you bring outside food when the kitchen is closed. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a slice from the corner pizzeria with a cold beer over good/bad late night karaoke.

Great pub! Very friendly staff and ownership made everybody feel welcomed despite it being a very busy evening. Probably the best spot near it to grab a beer and watch sports games or throw darts since they have 5 boards. Actually, it's easily the darts home of Astoria, hosting weekly tournaments and a recurring host in neighborhood wide events and different leagues.

Sissy McGintys is awesome!!! Maria and John the owner are fantastic. John took the time to come and talk to us and Maria was on point with the drinks and chat all night. Couldn’t recommend this place enough to have a fantastic night out…a must visit to anyone visiting New York.

First time going there, it was a great experience. Our server the the coolest guy I’ve ever met, he was very helpful and he was high there whenever we needed him, the hookah are amazing there. The music was good as well but they can use a better DJ, the environment, atmosphere, the lighting, were perfect for a date or just a chill spot. The owner was there guy was really cool came by couple of times to make sure everything was good. I was surprised to see the owner going around checking up on all the tables, A lot of owners do not do that. Also sow the owner help out taking orders out or coals for the hookah, not afraid of getting his hands dirty I respect that. 🙌🏾

Awesome place to hangout for after work drinks I have also been there over the weekend great vibes, Love the atmosphere bartenders are also very friendly and knowledgable. They made the best old fashioned just the way I wanted it, they carry very good selection of whiskey beer and craft beer as well! Definitely recommended. Bar is well managed and they are also following strict social distance guidelines. I’ll definitely come back. Thanks for everything, cheers!

Relaxed Irish bar on Steinway in Astoria. Unique long bar. Darts. All sports available. Great staff. A number of TV's. Some special events noted. No food, but can be ordered from local spots, who deliver. Diverse block, but this bar retains it's Irish neighborhood charm.

Decent sized Irish pub with actual Irish bartender in the middle of a middle eastern district. Good drink pricing, but food is limited to re-heated toaster oven pizza. Darts league was going on, which was fun to watch, but over all pretty low key. The two reasons for the 4-star is lack of top shelf Irish whisky and poor pizza offering. Would defintely go back.

I regularly play darts at this bar. They have multiple dart boards so you can play with a large group by splitting up and playing on two boards. They also have a pool table. The bartenders always treat their customers well, they are quick to serve, attentive and friendly. They're also great with buybacks at this bar. You can order food in and eat it there.

Office Casting

Dont go there paying with your credit or debit card. There is a young tall and slender bartender with dark hair who steals credit card information. I went there yesterday i had exactly 1 drink for 10$ and went home the next day i see he added another additional charge on my account for $39.00. I called my bank right away and explained this fraud transaction. Good that the bank disputed the charge and refunded me the $39.00, and renewed my card so he does not have my card information anymore to make further fraud transactions. Very bad experience in this pub.

So I came here after a long work day and the bald Caucasian gentleman kept accusing me of “falling asleep at the bar” which was not the case. I had two of my pickleback shots and was watching my shows. However this bartender continued to harass me from the moment I walked in to the establishment. Disgusting customer service and an even more disgusting person working in the service industry ??? What an irony.
