I just started working in the neighborhood and wanted to grab some tacos "to-go" close by, and they happened to be closed for a few hours on sunday and getting deliverys etc. The owner and his son agreed to make my food anyways since it was easy enough to do, and it was amazing. Had chicken tacos, salsa, and guac, with rice and beans. That kind of service is not forgotten! How nice of them to do that! 10/10 recommend for the service alone.

Love the oxoacan Tamales and variety of different quesadillas… very flavorful especially with that house made green/white sauce/cream.

We were on our way to Long Island in the morning when saw this deli. We decided to grab some snacks and drinks. The service was good and the place is clean.

This place is so under appreciated! The tacos aren’t great BUT the quesadillas are AMAZING, and the chopped cheese is probably the best in Astoria. The prices are solid and when getting delivery it’s always been on time and correct.

I got the spicy shucked quesadilla with jalapeño, so delicious but barely any jalapeño :( would definitely come back again. If you come late you have to order thru the outside window, and usually there’s people in a line.

The best service! Get the quesadilla de pollo empalizado! It’s gonna blow your mind! Get one “crema” per taco. It’s their secret weapon! And the grill chicken, always ❤️

If you know, you know. This deli is my go-to spot for tacos. Every single time I go, I get the cecina asada (steak) quesadillas ( it’s crunchy tacos) and it never disappoints. The flavor is always on point, seasoned perfectly, and cooked just right. If you go, make sure you get the green sauce i recommend you call before you go so it’s ready!

Great food but they need to indicate on their menu if something is spicy 🌶️. I’ve had enchiladas at other places before but they were not spicy. The spice level was off the charts. I broke out in a rash on my face and had bathroom issues because of it. Even my urine was burning me releasing the spice. My lips were burning. I can handle spicy but this was atomic. Please indicate that on your menu. Otherwise great food. My face is still red this morning. Yikes 😬

Seems to be that the same people from St.James Deli have relocated to a nicer and brighter location. Food has the same great taste and prices have up a few cents. Overall I think it's fine because of the new location overhaul. The hours Open have changed which is a bummer, seeing that this food was my go to in afterhours. It was 24/6 old location. I didn't see the time schedule to confirm the 10am-10pm M-F

Solid spot if you're up past 11pm and hungry. Everything felt fresh. The salsas could use a bit more kick.

The place was recommended to me because of the food they sell but it was very disappointing.it was takeaway. we ordered some cakes and it is very sad that the pieces of meat were not as recommended I hope they improve that for the price on

Ordered 1 taco and 1 quesadilla. Waited in this place for 32 minutes. When I asked the guy about my order after 32 minutes he said he hasn’t even started it. That really sucked.

2 out of 3 times the meat was tough like a little old ended up throwing out a 20 dollar meal 2 times thats the other drawback unreasonably over priced but that 1 time it was great bought them 1 more chance so let's see if we can do this again [if nothing changes drastically with quality of food im gonna have to recommend you buy tacos elsewhere and come here just to buy the sauces]

Order from your establishment alot. I just threw out my order of 2 flautas. Bugs crawling on the outside. Would've taken a pic. But couldn't keep that in my room. And also I preferred to plates and received 3 measly sauces. Unacceptable. Just found another taco spot. Lost my business after yrs. Of going to your family's business. Bye bye. Complain about that uber driver he has bugs in his car unless it's you guys. NASTY

Their quesadillas are amazing so I was in SHOCK to pay as much as I did for the nachos with Kraft they lacked so much love. I come here at least twice a month. So disappointed. Order the quesadillas or flautas, & avoid the nachos at all cost.

Be careful and watch how much he charges you. Tried to talk to me fast and charge me higher price when I questioned it he had no excuse and tried blaming it on credit card fees. Terrible practice

Food good and prices valid and everything but their hours being all over the place I went to st James deli 3 days in a roll and they were closed until I found they were closed temporarily on google I call to the new location and they said their hours were 24/7 I just went today and they were closed. Now that i look it up to write the review I see that their hours are not 24/7. SMH they should being more organized with their hours

tacos are very good but they are very stingy with the sauce i ordered 6 quesadillas and they only gave me 3 sauces. what i’m i going to do with 3 sauces and 6 quesadillas.

Burrito of enchilada tasted like shxt. Im mexican and this is not it. They dont know how to cook a simple burrito and lettuce is rotten. Enchilada wasn’t even cooked properly and had other bunch of meats in it besides enchilada. Smh

I ordered a BLT with extra bacon on Rye. I got a lettuce/tomato and cheese sandwich. Never asked for cheese🤦‍♀️ and one piece of bacon sliced in half...I paid $11. Never have I had such and experience as this...the food is usually on point!!!! This is Crazy!!!! Waist My money and I'm hungry!!!!🤬
