Boy oh boy. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had a restaurant. Made the reservation on opentable and the parking was easy. 3 hour validation. We started with some appetizers and everything was delicious. The octopus especially. Not everyone makes it that well, but they do. Tacos, amazing. And we got EVERY dessert and the king was the bread pudding. Wow. Nothing bad on our table. Also appreciate they had WONDERFUL mocktails. The owner and chef, Mimmo came to talk with us and it was wonderful hearing how much thought he put into this place. Even the glasses he chose don't sweat. Attention to detail is incredible. Chichi, the manager, was incredible. Really appreciated his hospitality as well and truly helped make the experience even better. Also appreciated our server, Maria. She kept up with our every need. We drove almost 30 miles to try and they made every second worth it. Cannot wait to return!
The food is well seasoned, the staff is professional and friendly and our service was great. Went during brunch/lunch hours had chargrilled octopus it was a little tough in the, center but flavorful chimichuri saved it, chicken soup was hearty, empanadas full of filling, tacos priced via inflation, best refried beans I have ever had...I think they use black beans instead of pintos....THE BEST was the shot of their house made Tequila. IF you like a spicy magarita...go treat your self...the Tequila alone host all the flavors of the spicy cocktail...it starts sweet but finishes peppery and spicy...taste buds satisfied without all the added calories of mixers.
We Had A Great 14th Anniversary Date Night At Botica!! Which is known for its vibrant atmosphere and creative Mexican-inspired dishes, particularly its tacos. But we had Oysters Rockefeller, steak and potatoes, and the fajitas plate, and they were ALL delicious!! The margaritas was A-1 DELICIOUSLY refreshing! We got a pitcher which was HUGE, but they allow you to take whatever you don’t drink home, which makes it worth it. But the pitcher is pricey ($69), and better to order if you have a large group to split the price with. Our waitress (Ann Marie) was wonderful! She even let us choose a free dessert on her since it was our anniversary! The staff also took shots with us to celebrate us! It wasn’t busy and there was no waiting, but I understood it’s mainly because there weren’t any important sports games on tv because there are tvs EVERYWHERE, even outside on the comfy patio area. We will return. Great time! Great music and great atmosphere!
My friends and I came here for a friend’s birthday and I must say, I didn’t know what to expect, but this was one of the best food experiences I’ve had in Atlanta. I had the Steak and Eggs from the brunch menu and it was amazing! The steak was cooked PERFECTLY. The service was amazing and the staff was so kind. There is a parking deck attached and you can do a 3 hour validation when you walk into the restaurant. 10/10 experience and I will definitely be returning.
Happy hour is a must at this spot… Drinks are good good and the service is exceptional… I live in the neighborhood and this is my go to to just hang out and chill in a good friendly environment. Amber and Ginger make the best drinks and keeps me coming back. And my server Courtney was very helpful and made the experience well worth it. Thank you all of course I'll be back.
Some colleagues and I visited Botica while in town for a conference. It was one of the only places near downtown that could accommodate our group of 16 on short notice. It was a very vibrant place with great music and atmosphere. Our waiter Courtney was super attentive and took good care of each of us. The food and drinks were great and our visit to Botica capped off a great evening in town. Highly recommended.
I came for my birthday with a party of 14 people and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The manager was helpful and friendly, the waiter and waitress was great! I believe we had Daniel & Maria. The host was even really nice and sweet There was complimentary 3 hour parking, there was no outside food fee for my surprise cake, all of our food was super delicious, and we did not wait long for our food. The drinks and atmosphere was beautiful.
We had a late lunch at Botica and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. The Mexican fare was delicious—our appetizers included guacamole, quesadillas, chips and salsa, queso, and some crispy wings, all fresh and flavorful. For the main dishes, the taco carne asada, Bucks burger, and fajita skillet were standouts—tasty, well-seasoned, and satisfying. Our server, Ann, provided excellent service with great attention to detail, making the experience even better. Parking was convenient, with plenty of spaces and a three-hour limit, but note that you’ll need to enter your license plate number on a tablet when you arrive—so have it memorized or snap a quick photo. Overall, Botica delivers great food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning.
Truly love ChiChi for he greeted us with great energy and spirit at the door! Our waiter Dougie was also a pleasure for though he was extremely busy, he made sure we were doing more than ok! Being that we worked a14hour shift this was just the treat we needed! Great tasting food and strong drinks! Thank you both for the amazing professionalism and service! Will make sure to spread the word !
Christopher is amazing. Everything and EVERYONE was superb. I loved it!!!! And, the OYSTERS.
Botica Atlanta offered a wonderful dining experience with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our server, Maria, was a true gem - attentive and personable, even with our large party of 14, including three children. We were celebrating two birthdays and felt genuinely cared for throughout the evening. The food and drinks were excellent, and the manager, Chi Chi (hopefully spelled correctly), went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He checked in on us several times, adding a personal touch to our visit. I highly recommend Botica Atlanta for dinner, brunch, or Happy Hour!
Botica is more than just a place to eat; it's a whole experience. We went there for my friend's birthday brunch, and from the minute we walked in, everyone was super welcoming and friendly. We had a big group, and they handled us like pros - so attentive and patient with all our requests. Additionally, the food was amazing! I definitely plan on coming here again!
Came for Sunday brunch and sat at the bar. It was not crowded at all. The host was extremely welcoming and the bartender who took care of us was also great. You can order from the brunch and regular menu. We ordered 2 omelets, a shrimp taco and lamb taco. The omelet was huge! It was also more of a frittata and not an omelet. It was served alone so I added on grits after it arrived. The omelet/frittata was good but I’d suggest ordering a side with it. My husband loved his shrimp tacos. The lamb taco was tender but I kinda wish it had some sort of sauce on it. The bartender comped some potatoes for me when I asked about where the potatoes were for the omelet, which he later explained were baked into the omelet. I am looking forward to coming back here again for another brunch. The service was beyond my expectations and the food was delicious. Parking is free in the garage. You have to put your license plate into a kiosk at the restaurant entrance.
One of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had! The atmosphere was so fun and the staff gave us great, fast service. All of the food was delicious. Definitely try the churros if you like sweets!!
This is my second time coming here. I love it. They make the best drinks too. These were once a old fashioned.
Phenomenal Experience with Chris! Chris provided exceptional service. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcomed. The “Chris Drink Special” was an absolute treat and very good! We also tried the croissant bread pudding, which was hands-down one of the best desserts. A must try if you like bread pudding. The meatballs and tacos were great—full of flavor. Happy hour exceeded all expectations and even better the vibes from Chris were amazing. He made the whole experience worth it. We’ll definitely be back!
Great neighborhood spot. I was staying at the Sheperd Center across the street, stopped in for a bite and had the lamb taco special. They were delicious. I had the spicy mule as well and it was an excellent drink. Will definitely stop here again next time I'm in Atlanta.
Great happy hour specials. Pineapple mojito, lamb taco, carne taco and herb rice
I met up with friends and family for a hangout, and we had a ball! I was pleasantly surprised with the outstanding service received and the great food we ate! We were a large party, so it was nice to have the manager come over and introduce himself, and that helped set the tone for the evening. He was super nice and so was the staff! We ended up getting a free round of shots, which only elevated our experience and time here! We ordered quite a bit of food ranging from queso and chips, oysters, tacos, burrata and jamon, salmon, and so much more! The queso was well seasoned and was 1 of many great appetizers to start the evening. I had the burrata and jamon, and this was excellent! The burrata cheese was super creamy, and it had olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and a pesto sauce for flavor. Whether eaten together or separately, this only enhanced the flavor of the burrata! It only came with 2 pieces of bread, so my only thing is it should have come with more bread for dipping! I also had the salmon, which had quinoa, corn, and spinach. Although this was a light dish, it was jam-packed with flavor! My salmon was super moist, and the seasoning on it was done to perfection! Everyone kept noting how excellent their tacos were or whatever they ordered. There was not one unhappy face there, and everyone truly enjoyed their food! All in all, this was an extraordinary experience to a remarkable evening. Between the great vibes, excellent staff, and a live violinist, who was dope, I would recommend coming here to eat and chill anytime! I will definitely be returning!
I think we came here for two months straight every Saturday for brunch and the only reason we stopped was because we needed to try and give other restaurants in the area a chance. We received excellent service from day one and never had a bad experience. The Que Padre is incredible and they have a lot of interesting cocktail choices, will be back very soon.
This restaurant was perfect and delicious. I loved the grilled oysters as an appetizer. The crispy salmon taco was so yummy and shrimp taco was good also. Don’t pay to park. They have a parking deck and will validate your parking at the kiosk inside with your license plate # when you arrive. My service was great and they also have outdoor seating.
So, I don't normally do burgers anymore but was really craving one the other night when we stopped in at Botica. This place has great outside street tables to enjoy the fresh air and atmosphere of downtown Atlanta. I ordered the burger and was extremely happy with my choice. The burger is nice and thick with great flavor. It comes topped with an egg and nice cubed potatoes. They have a dipping sauce for the potatoes that is really, really good. This is one of those places you can go hand out with friends enjoy the game and have great food and drinks. I highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area. The one thing I will say is they add the 20% to each ticket so just be aware of that when you are tipping. We added to the tip because the food and service was excellent.
Surprised my wife and came here for brunch at 12pm. Food was too notch and the service was outstanding. We were seated swiftly and the food was out in record time lol. The shrimp and grits was delicious and the salmon was seared to perfection. Sitting outside was the perfect mood setting experience. This is by far the best Mexican food I've tasted in the Atlanta area.
The food and atmosphere were wonderful! I'm glad there is an outdoor seating area where we could dine al fresco no matter the weather. The food was seasoned and plated well and our server was very attentive to our needs. This was a date night but we'll come back with friends and family! ¡Muy bueno!
I had a great experience at Botica! The service was excellent. Thank you so much, Chris!
This place is my go to for brunch. It has a super cute, lively environment, that’s not too overcrowded. The food never fails me here. It’s always hot and it’s always well seasoned, no matter what I have ordered here. I’ve probably been to this place 100 times at this point. Some of my favorite menu items to order is their grilled salmon and their steak with chimichurri. These two dishes usually come with potatoes, which I adore here. My favorite drink here is the Contessa, which is a pineapple margarita. Always a hit! I also love the Spanish coffee here. Try this place and you will not be disappointed. They also have free parking here which is a plus in Atlanta. I had never come to this place and received bad service. And anytime there has ever been a mistake with my food. It was over compensated for. The owners of disestablishment prioritizes Customer Service and it is a parent to anyone that experiences this place. 10 out of 10 most definitely recommend.
Perfect Score! Food was amazing and perfectly cooked. Shrimp and grits were well portioned and so tasty! I loved my egg and that toasted ciabotta bread with cheese. Que Padre (fried chicken was expertly prepared.) Highly recommend the crispy potato with Queso to bring it all together. You might also want to try the Nepresso Martini. (Rough week... so this was a nice break for a few minutes) Restaurant was beautiful. We were seated quickly. Lots of big screens inside and nice patio outside. Green Egg on the patio was cooking up something that was smelling great! We even had a fantasticserver, so aak for Joann,This just might be my new Go To Spot! #PinchOfButter
Went on Friday night and the have a DJ playing low volume but sounded great and the selection was fire! The food and drinks were on point. Great vibe! Free admission. I think the event was called CIELO!
I love this place! Best in the city for a good drinks and good vibes! All the employees are very friendly and the food is great. Chris did an outstanding job to make sure we were having a good time and a good night! We will be back!
Heard a lot of good things about Botica on TikTok and wanted to check it out. Loved it there, great vibe, amazing food (birria tacos and the baked oysters). Pretty extensive and fair priced tequila list. I ordered the Island Crush cocktail, so good. Staff was very attentive. I sat at the bar and was served by Nikki she was very hospitable and attentive she guided me thru the menu as a first timer there. I will be definitely back and they even validate parking too. I give Botica a 8/10
I had a party reserved for 18; however, 15 ended up attending. We were seated at a table in the back room, which felt like a private dining experience. We had one server, and she was AMAZING! The restaurant even provided sample margarita shots and a round of shots for the table to help celebrate our birthday—5/5 customer service!! As for the food, I’ve had better Mexican food elsewhere, but it wasn’t bad. I actually enjoyed the charbroiled oysters more than my tacos. Overall, it was a great night spent with family. Big shout-out to the staff!
I can't even decide where to start. From the incredible wait staff, the management and the owners charisma, and the amazing food and drinks. The experience felt more like being greeted by distant family that couldn't wait to see you again. Chef Mimmo and Chi-Chi flooded our table with appetizers and stories while we waited for our main meal to arrive. Our friend group is predominantly non-alcoholic, and the restaurant was happy to oblige with flights of alcohol free options concocted by the bartender. As soon as the drinks got low, our diligent waitress, Maria, was there with our next round. She was like a ninja, keeping our spent dishes and clutter to a minimum so new plates could be bought in. Our group felt so loved and welcomed there with every staff interaction. Can't express how great the experience was and can't wait to go there again. 10/10
Been to many restaurants in ATL, but this bartender (Nikki) set a completely new standard. From the moment I sat down, the service was warm, attentive, and effortlessly cool. They somehow managed to be lightning-fast and genuinely thoughtful—remembering preferences, making spot-on recommendations, and creating an atmosphere that made everyone feel welcome.
An incredible dining experience! We were very courteously greeted by three different staff members within a few minutes of sitting down, including the manager Chi-Chi, who was very friendly and polite. Our cocktails were top notch, made promptly with very fresh ingredients. But the food - Wow! I recommend the Halibut Ceviche, complete with plantain chips. The tacos were the best I've ever had! A+!!!
The food here is absolutely amazing, every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!
Great staff! Friendly people and willing to inform you on the restaurant. I have had food from here once so i wont give a review yet but service is great. Happy hour is a good way to try this place.
We had an amazing experience at Botica. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the service from the entire staff was outstanding. Special thanks to Yoelvys, who took care of us — he was attentive, friendly, and made the evening even better. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Atlanta. Highly recommend!
Botica was an amazing experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was lively and inviting, the food was flavorful and perfectly prepared, and the drinks were top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and highly recommend!
My friends andb brunch across the way and decided to have a drink at Boticab afterwards. Oh What an experience! We sat at the bar with Chris and he was the best ... attentive, strong drinks and great customer service. We came for one drink and stayed 4 hours! Super fun, good music, great atmosphere 🎉💝
I had an amazing experience at Botica Atlanta for my birthday. The managers, especially Chichi and his team, were incredibly helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to accommodate my group’s needs. The owner was also very flexible and welcoming, making sure everything was perfect for my dinner. I truly appreciate their warm hospitality and look forward to celebrating there again! Highly recommend for both food and environment.
Popped in on a random evening with a friend for her birthday. We sat at the bar not knowing what to expect. The service was great, and the food and drinks were even better. Our Bartender Chris was the best. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back. Oh and they have a Happy Hour which makes things even better. 10/10 recommend.
Recently attended Botica for my birthday and we had the Wagyu Beef Tacos, Fried Salmon Taco and a Shrimp Taco with rice and black beans. Also had taquitos for an appetizer which were really good (not pictured). Also pictured is the free dessert I chose for my birthday which was bread pudding with ice cream. I was not a fan of the bread pudding (pretty sure it was me), but the ice cream was good. Definitely worth a try in my opinion.
Certain appetizers could have had more food, for instance the chicken wing only came with one drum and one flat for $5, I think two of each would be much more worth it. Because if you think about it, you are paying $5 for one whole wing, that's petty high. The croissant apple cinnamon bread pudding was absolutely amazing and I am not big on sweets, but that was decadently delicious 😋 Overall, food tasted amazing and flavors were popping!
DON'T PAY FOR PARKING AT THE KIOSK IN THE PARKING DECK Relaxed atmosphere, but cramped. Soccer games were playing on most of the TV's. Between the guest, servers and furniture, it's a tight fit. Our server Tyler was friendly and took good care of us. Some of our order took a while to be brought to the table, so some of us were eating while others watched. And some of our orders were made incorrectly, but for everyone that got what they ordered, the food was good. The drinks were also good. We went with a fairly big group for birthday brunch, and it was packed, fortunately we had reservations. Overall it was a good experience because our server communicated with us, good company, and good food for the most part. There is an automatic 20% gratuity added to EVERY ticket, and they had no issues separating our bills. I would eat here again. They validate parking in the deck.
Man I had a good time in this place. Our servers name is Chi Chi and he has great energy. Who wouldn't love a server who gave free shots of Tequila to a table of 14? Anyway, the food was dope. A bit pricey but still great tasting. We ordered Nachos with steak and they were bomb. The only thing I would suggest is definitely more chips with that amount of toppings we got. Then we ordered Tacos, and enchiladas. Everything tasted great. Hated that the rice and beans were not included with the tacos though. But overall, great experience
We went here for brunch when the place next door was busy. Overall pretty good food and decent service. There was no wait at 11:30am on Sunday. Food was good but a little overpriced. 2 people got the chicken and waffles which they enjoyed, but for $26 the dish was underwhelming. I got the Americano which was a very good dish at a great price point. Everything on the dish was delicious, especially the bread and grits. I would come back for this dish only. Someone at my table got a mango mimosa which they really liked. At the end we got the creme brûlée and it was bad. The dish was too deep, so the top was very warm while the bottom was very cold. The bruleed sugar was uneven and the dish had poor flavor. It was very bland. I really enjoy creme brûlée, so I had to try it, but I was left very disappointed. The rest of the table agreed. Service was good, but sometimes it was hard to get their attention. Parking was free and easy. A good experience, but I probably wouldn’t go back on my own. If I did end up returning for brunch, I would get the Americano again for sure.
Visited Botica with a few acquaintances after checking in server Omar sat us and didn’t come back to the table for another 15 minutes. Took appetizer order and didn’t return to table until he brought appetizer to table and at that time we rushed and asked for water and drinks which took another 20-25 minutes. Ordered the Nespresso Martini which was tasty and strong. Grilled Octopus good but a little chewy and the Shrimp Fajita Skillet. It was just okay. However, the next day taste better. I don’t eat steak, was told the steak was season well and good. Also, the margarita’s did not touch Taco Mac. 😂 Once we placed food order and received, we did not see him again until we flagged down the manager on duty. Hot mess. Actually, we had to flag manager a few times because Omar was missing in action and not attentive at all. See that could have been my fault for telling him he was handsome. Anywho, wrapped up asked for check and 20% gratuity added to each check and honestly, server lack attentiveness. We had to ask the manager for bags , waited 10 minutes and another employee brought us bags.
I was really excited to try botica, and while parts of the experience were great, I unfortunately won’t be returning anytime soon. My bartenders, Nikki and Amber, were amazing funny, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu. However, there was a man at the bar who I believe was named Chris; I’m not entirely sure if he works there (might be a manager) but he was drinking at the bar, then going behind it, and offered me shots and free drinks in exchange for a good review, which made me uncomfortable. I also overheard other guests mentioning that they were surprised he was there and that his presence made people uneasy. The ambiance itself was great and most of the staff was wonderful, but this situation created unnecessary drama and really dampened my experience. I would come back specifically to see Nikki and Amber again, but I truly hope the issue of having a visibly intoxicated manager on shift is addressed, as it reflects poorly on the establishment and negatively impacts the guest experience.
If you enjoy tequila, tacos, & TVs with a side of the Buckhead Club Crowd then this is the spot for you (at least on the weekends). Made reservations for Saturday Brunch for 3 friends after perusing Botico’s IG page & reading a few reviews. By 1pm it was LOUD. Between the pop music pumping over the speakers & the multiple bachelor/bachelorette parties that showed up, we had to yell at each other across the table to be heard. We ordered 10 cocktails &, on most, the presentation was lackluster. Absolutely no garnish, no resemblance to the same cocktails I had eyed on IG. The food was flavorful & well-plated (although the steak & eggs were borderline greasy & of the 2 people who ordered it neither finished the plate. Same goes for the corn side dish & churros, we didn’t finish those either). Service was excellent (thanks Jamie!) & was deserving of the 20% built-in gratuity. As for ambience, the front of the restaurant & bar area look like a totally different restaurant from the back which still resembles the previous restaurant Watershed. There are large TVs everywhere (think sports bar) so this will probably be a great spot to catch a game. Basically if you’re looking to have a good time in B’Head, you may like this spot. If you’re food-focused & looking to explore creative culinary options, then there are much better, less heavy-handed, options nearby.
I’ve been coming to this establishment for 4 years and have always enjoyed supporting this local business. I’ve never had any issues, have always been respectful, and often bring friends here. Unfortunately, my experience this past Friday was extremely disappointing and upsetting. While I was there with two friends, we asked our bartender, Amber, for the tab. She provided us with two separate tabs, and I politely asked if everything could be combined into one since my friend offered to take care of the bill. At no point was I rude or disrespectful. My girlfriend and I were quietly discussing the included tip when Amber suddenly became loud, gave me an attitude, and shockingly told me to “meet her in the parking lot.” This level of unprofessionalism is absolutely unacceptable. Not only was I embarrassed in front of other customers, but several people around us were equally shocked at her behavior. To make matters worse, the manager on duty never offered an apology or addressed the situation. Thankfully, another bartender (whose name I unfortunately did not catch) showed kindness and professionalism, even offering a round of shots to try and make up for the incident. I truly appreciated his gesture. As a loyal customer of many years, I’m incredibly disappointed. No paying customer deserves to be spoken to that way, especially when showing support to a local business. Amber’s behavior was rude, unprofessional, and completely out of line. I sincerely hope management takes this situation seriously, as this is not how customers should ever be treated.
