Amazing food and espresso martini. My favorite would be the duck dish in the picture up top(forgot the name), but all dishes were great. There was also live music when we were here, great vibe. Service was top notch! Would definitely come back. We made a reservation so there was no wait.
We recently moved to Midtown and and small business owners we always appreciate great service. We were not disappointed. Mark was attentive and patient with me with making a wine selection. Even though I eventually went with his first recommendation, he brought me tasters. The mussels were buttery and perfectly seasoned, the antipasti was divine. The whole experience was cozy, warm, attentive, and delicious! A 5 minute walk from our condo, we will be frequent diners❤️
We had an amazing experience at Campagnolo in Midtown. The lasagna was absolutely outstanding, and the mussels were just as impressive — full of flavor and perfectly prepared. But the real highlight of our meal was Mark, our server. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely made our dinner feel special. We live in the neighborhood and are so glad to have found a new go-to spot. Highly recommend!
★★★★★ If I could give Campagnolo six stars, I would. The service? Impeccable—so attentive I briefly considered asking them to help me with my taxes. Dinner arrived so fast I suspect they have a time machine in the kitchen. And the dessert? Let’s just say I saw a bright light and briefly considered walking toward it. Parking was a bit confusing, but I managed to figure it out—mostly by following my nose to the amazing food. One tiny suggestion: carry a more full body red wine. A good Cabernet would take this experience from amazing to I’m moving in, please forward my mail. Even without it, this place is a must-visit. Will absolutely be back—possibly tomorrow.
Impressive, delicious food. The ribeye steak is a little salty for my tongue, but maybe I am used to low salt food. Would come again.
My favorite midtown brunch, and after our 100000th visit, I still leave happy. Their food is southern + Italian comfort and the service as friendly as it can get. Plus you can’t beat $6 mimosa and $3 refills in this day and age. My favorites are their orciette pasta and I usually request poached eggs with it. Their salmon Benedicts are delicious. Their chicken sandwiches are very filling and loaded with the right amount of flavors and heartiness. It’s so welcoming, you’ll feel like being at a family home.
Awesome Italian in Midtown… highly recommended , we had been only twice is pretty consistent with their food and service staff!!
Girls night out before a show at the Fox, and it was perfection! We had hummus and fried calamari as appetizers, I had the Lumache (with sausage as recommended by our server, and he was 100% right) and a Gintello which was delicious. Others had lasagna, chicken picatta, and risotto, and everyone loved what they chose. We ate early so it was not crowded at all. Our server, Darion was amazing, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. We aren't "from the city" so I was pleasantly surprised the prices weren't unreasonable for such an enjoyable meal. 10/10 would go again! (They also have complementary valet parking, so yay)!
The food and drinks were amazing and fresh. Each dish was a highlight. I’d give one less star for service but it might have just been the night and because of rain, the patio needed drying. Also there were men with a latter checking a light or something right next to us half way through our meal- which again, doesn’t have anything to do with the food itself but took away from the experience. I’d go back and the food was great.
So my love brought me here for our 1 year anniversary and I was quite pleased. Shout out to Mark our server who gave excellent service and sound marriage advice. My first time trying polenta and it was tasty. I had the Caesar salad with anchovies 🤷🏿 That lasagna though was exactly like the picture and really delicious. The gelato and cake were amazing. I was happy overall and would consider going back..
We never go for Italian food, but we've made an exception for here ~ absolutely no remorse in our decision. Things you should know: I. PARKING We just parked for free along the street: Piedmont Ave NE. II. SERVICE What made this 5 stars. Our server was extremely personable and accommodating. Don't forget to ask for the bread service while you wait on your order. It's on a request basis only. III. QUALITY Fresh. Out of all the things we ordered, I'd say I recommend the Fritto Misto the most ~ it's tangy, crunchy, and full of texture and flavor with the marinara dip. IV. CAPACITY They fill up quick and are in high demand. Definitely recommend reservations if you can plan ahead. If not, I would try and come around opening time.
Idk where to start, I absolutely love this place, from the ambiance, music, staff, food & drinks. G the manager was amazing and has a great welcoming attitude. I had the Fall’ O Me cocktail, suggested by my waitress and I was not disappointed to say the least. The mussels (appetizer) was delicious; it was full of flavor, I enjoyed it so much, I was about ready to lick the dish J. For my meal I ordered the lasagna and that too was savory, each bite had me wanting more. I will definitely be returning and bringing others to share the experience.
A great dinner experience can be had at Campagnolo because the staff is friendly, service is quick, and the food is tasty and priced well. Sobia guided us through the menu and wine list with precision. Rudy oversaw our food as it was prepared in the kitchen and delivered to our table. We enjoyed the Herb Arancini and Calamari as appetizers. Then there was Lasagna Matta and a bay scallop dish to share for dinner. The lasagna is so creamy and full of flavor. The dessert round brought us tiramisu, a chocolate tart, and another tasty something with a forgotten name. We can’t wait for an opportunity to return. With service and restaurants suffering today in so many places, it was very refreshing to have our food and drinks delivered quickly and accurately, thanks to the great staff at Campagnolo.
I love this place . I am obsessed with pasta and have already been here a few times and I just discovered it a couple months ago & I’m so happy I did. Each time has been a good experience, drinks are great and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu !
We really enjoyed our date night here. The restaurant had a ln old italian vibe which we loved. When we went there was a live musician playing the piano, I swear he sounds just like Elton John. There was a pretty good wine menu and our server was very helpful. I ordered the lasagna and it's probably the best lasagna I've had in the city.
Nice dining on the patio on a springlike evening. It’s near the corner of Piedmont and 10th (where tire rubber burns sometimes). I had the chicken piccata, and it was seasoned to perfection with two large moist pieces floating in lemon and capers. My wife had the tagliatelle bolognese - she was torn between that and the lasagna. Ultimately she was happy. We also shared a meatball/polenta app and a side of grilled Brussel sprouts in a wonderful balsamic reduction. There was also a bottle of bubbly that entered into the mix. We will return.
This restaurant is nicely located in Atlanta. The atmosphere at the restaurant was nice and reserved, but if you are wanting the more upbeat vibes I suggest sitting outside! The food was super good and the service was very nice. Lasagna had the perfect amount of pasta, meat, and cheese. Cute decor throughout the restaurant. Definitely recommend.
The food was amazing and the service was even better. I would probably skip the dessert but don’t miss this cute little spot if you are in Atlanta. We love the diversity of food in the area when we come visit and I’m happy we found this place. No issues with parking either. There is plenty of street parking.
We had a wonderful experience from the hostess' hospitality, to the speedy service, and our stellar waitress (Merideth & Michelle?), we had delicious food and a wonderfully entertaining time. In addition to the thriving environment from ATL Pride the restaurant itself was abuzz. We definitely recommend!
At the suggestion of the server I tried the lasagna and I’m glad I did. The cocktails and staff were very friendly. The locals really make you feel at home and made the experience even better. I’ll definitely return to try other menu items.
We had a delightful time when we came for Saturday brunch. In our group of six adults, three ordered the french toast and three ordered other items. Everything was good, but the french toast topped with berries, pecans, and whipped cream was amazing! The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and we plan to return
I highly recommend Campagnolo. I went for brunch, food is amazing, service was prompt, decor and ambiance was pleasing. It's clean, has patio seating, plus the entire staff from GM down was friendly and attentive. That being said, it's located in a busy Pride friendly neighborhood walking distance from Piedmont Park, so parking can be a bit troublesome. However, don't let that stop you! Get the French toast if you go for brunch.
This place is great! We sat outside on a cooler summer night. Always fun sitting outside and watching the passer bys. We had the Roman Artichoke to start, and then caesar salads. For dinner, we both had the piccata. It was all excellent!
My first visit to Campagnolo last weekend was a pleasant surprise. The establishment is has a quaint little charm with intimate seating, outdoor seating and seats right in the action so there’s a vibe for all. The night I was in there was a piano player adding to the experience and created a piano bar vibe which I enjoyed. The drinks, food and service were top notch. I will most definitely be returning.
I came here with my family to celebrate my sister's graduation at Georgia Tech just a few blocks away. My main takeaways were that the food and service were exceptional. I got the squid ink risotto with shrimp, a Manhattan, and a few appetizers. The risotto was really tasty with just a little hint of heat (ignore in the picture that part of it is missing - I was really hungry haha). The owner or manager (not sure which) helped show us to our table, and he was really friendly. Our server, Kieran was excellent. He was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal, bringing us drink refills often and removing empty plates and glasses really quickly before the table got cluttered. It could just be the timing with the graduation crowd, but they were pretty busy, and we had to make a reservation ahead of time, just fyi. Overall, the experience was really nice, and I'll plan on stopping by the next time I'm in Atlanta! Easy 5/5.
Nice, clean atmosphere. The service was great& the food was AMAZING! We're from out of town and I wanted my duck cooked a little extra that normal 🙃 the butcher came out, greeted us and was beyond kind and made sure everything was perfect for us. We had an amazing experience and this will be for sure our go to when we are in town!!!!
Thank you Matt for being wonderfully attentive. The food and drinks were great as was the atmosphere. Would love to return soon.
I can’t say enough about this lovely bar and restaurant. I felt very comfortable sitting by myself and eating at the bar. The locals were so friendly and conversation was never lacking. They were all ordering the Lasagna Matta, so I did the same. I was blown away, as it was full of flavor and not overpowered by pasta (by the way, was fresh made and delicious). I also ordered the Cesare salad, and it was perfect. Last bot not least, the bartender made lovely cocktails. I was on a foodie high!
My boyfriend and I went for the second time last night. The first time was early into our relationship, so I couldn’t remember much other than that I liked the arugula salad. For apps, we had the meatballs / polenta and the the salad again. The salad really is delicious! For our main, I think I got the chicken piccata last time, but this time I got the orecchiette. My boyfriend got the lasagna. The orecchiette was absolutely delicious. The dish is surprisingly mild in flavor, but it really works. His lasagna was also great. For dessert, we ordered the passion fruit dessert. It was so good our server brought me a little container of the sauce after I made a comment on how delicious it was. Our server was Yakov. I’m probably butchering the spelling, but he was great. Very personable and sweet and checked on us appropriately. The atmosphere is good. My only complaint is the booths, which is where I prefer to sit, are under some air vents, so it’s pretty chilly for me. But that’s it!
Writing from my home in Orlando. Was in Atlanta for a couple of days this week and found this spot. What a wonderful find in a safe space. We had dinner here two nights ago and the food and service were outstanding. Mark was our primary waiter and Iacov, a true professional , helped Mark with a level of service that was memorable. I had the lasagna, which I had heard was very light compared to the typical lasagna served in most restaurants. It was true. The noodles felt like they were nearly paper thin and the sauce is hard to describe. It was a red sauce but not a thick version but more of a lighter version in color and taste. We started with a arugula salad and order of burrata cheese. Perfect combo of aps. My coworker had the Piccata of which the plate could have been used again without cleaning because he left nothing behind. I would like to say I had a taste to review but it was gone before I asked. lol. If you’re looking for a place with a great safe friendly atmosphere, food and service this place is a no brainer.
Shoutout to Matt for absolutely top-tier service. Super friendly, genuinely nice guy, and his recommendations were spot on. Made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming without being over the top. You can tell he actually cares. Would absolutely come back because of him. 10 out of 10.
Thank you Darrien for such exceptional service. He recommended vegetarian dishes, food was fantastic. I think their aperol spritz is my new favorite cocktail. And that antipasti board is a winner!
Enjoyed our dinner here today! We stopped by while we waited for our dogs to get groomed next door. Food was great. Our host and server were both super friendly. Will certainly be back!!
My wife and I loved our experience! The food was amazing (I loved the risotto and the passion fruit gazpacho); our waiter (I wanna say...Colby?) was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable; and the service was fast!
We've passed this spot so many times and finally decided to gv it a try. So glad we did, it's a quaint little spot, our waiter (Jabari) was fantastic the drinks we're refreshing and strong, food delish and atmosphere niiiicce! We'll definitely return again for dinner since this was brunch and Italian is our favorite.
Chuck took great care of us… and the food was so good that we forgot to take pictures of it, but I had the salmon burger, which was amazing and the arugula salad the Caesar salad salad What’s the name of your dish again and a sausage pasta dish, which was truly amazing Don’t miss it in the heart of Atlanta.
Solid mid range restaurant, no frills added, but also competent about the basics. The arancini balls were the best, very crunchy. The restaurant decor is understated, and some of the booth seats could use reupholstery.
We came here for dinner on a Sunday night. The whole block was a vibe, and I loved the energy from everyone. The restaurant was a little packed and loud, but we made the most of it. We started with drinks (red wine and a lemon drop) and some spicy mussels. Those mussels with the spicy broth were really divine. Since we were indecisive for entrees, our server Boots helped with suggestions. I decided on the duck breast, and my boyfriend got the bolognese (I believe). We both enjoyed our meals and would definitely be back again.
Fine Italian restaurant in Midtown Atlanta. The pasta was prepared by them and the dishes were well cooked, fresh, and delicious. Great service and excellent atmosphere. Parking was a bit challenging in this part of town, but other than that, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all Italian food lovers! Gay friendly too!😁
Great service and food. Had Spicy Mussels as an appetizer and for entrees, Bucantini Pasta with Fennel sausage and my Gf had the Duck entree! Boots(our server) did a great job!
Second time here and the food is out of this world but the service is well below average. This experience had an even worse server than last time. Iacov is a real sweet boy but I do not think he has the disposition to be a great waiter. Now it could be that the manager, named Gee, did not make sure the new waiter was trained correctly or just does not know how to judge who will be a good waiter. The waiter appeared to be scared of the manager and did not tell Gee about the problem we had about the way the waiter didn't request our food to be prepared without tomato’s and didn't have the dish remade but only tomato's were removed but tomato juice still there. The waiter had other weaknesses not worth mentioning. I spoke to the manager and he was not apologetic but thanked me for the information.
Cozy little place with parking in the back. The rest is pretty unremarkable. The food was okay and his service was friendly but slow.
The French toast is really good, definitely worth atleast 4 to 5/5 stars. Here’s the thing, I ordered bacon for $4 and I got 3 thin and slim pieces of, what looked like, instant bacon. Don’t pay for that if you go! I was surprised a restaurant like served bacon the way they did- most nice places that serve a brunch have atleast the thick sliced bacon and will give you more than they did here for $4.
This is a little Italian place on Piedmont that has a nice atmosphere with a bar. They seem to be more focused on the drinks and cocktails as the food did not hold up to standard. We ordered the Arancini which are four fried risotto balls. I liked this dish quite a bit as it was quite flavorful. We also ordered the Brussel Sprouts, Meatballs, and Orecchiette which were all pretty average. Since it was a friend's birthday they included Tiramisu which was pretty nice.
I am not sure if I will go here again. I have mixed opinions. Firstly, this was the nicest restaurant owner I have ever met. He was running around everywhere because he was checking on every customer in his restaurants. That was wonderful to see. Any problem I had he would fix. The negatives was that when we went they had live music. It was extremely loud. There were plenty of openings in the back away from the restaurant but they did not give us an option of where to sit. Even though we had a reservation and the restaurant had openings. Now the food. We had an appetizer of a meat, cheese and bread plate. It was fantastic. Then my main dish came in. The vodka pasta. It was not bad but there was very little food. I had them add a protein. I added meat balls and I was given two small meatballs. My girlfriend had the grilled salmon and it was the best she ever had but she said that the vegetables with it were just ok. The prices were affordable. I would try it again and try a different main dish.
The food was delicious! However, the service was atrocious. We arrived at the restaurant and were greeted and seated. The server(Kieran W.)took our food/drink order and that was basically the last we saw of him. We were never offered refills and when I asked the server for them we never got them until we were getting ready to walk out the door. I had to get up and ask for the check because he had not even come to the table. Overall it wasn’t a pleasant experience. (Not to mention it wasn’t even busy)
I was very disappointed because some parts of the pasta were undercooked and very hard.
Came in on Sunday brunch. Ordered the steak (ribeye) and eggs. Super thin cut and lots of fat. Wouldn’t order again. Wife had the caprese sandwich. She said it was super weird taste and was not good at all. Another person with us said the same thing about theirs. He ordered a Caesar salad in replacement of the horrible sandwich and it was also not good, wilted romaine lettuce and no flavor dressing. All in all I wouldn’t come back nor recommend this place. Charlotte the waitress seemed sort of nice but then came off very passive aggressive. Never coming back. Sorry
Something seems off about the good reviews. I rarely give bad reviews, but this place let me down. The food was oily, bland and just off. I would rather eat at olive garden
Upon walking in we were told we needed vaccination cards to prove we are vaccinated. Thankfully we had some vaccine cards on us, however, this isn’t NYC and it isn’t mandated in Atlanta and shouldn’t be a practice. Other than a few patrons at the bar, the restaurant was empty on a Friday night. This was a little concerning, but I am sure that having a Vax Card is a big reason for this. Once we were sat, we ordered the Beef and Pork meatballs as an appetizer served over creamy polenta. Note to the chef, if you can’t cut a meatball with a fork, then it is too dense. It was hard and dry and tiny. Seemed like it was a few days old and reheated. The polenta was ok, but bland. Someone in the kitchen needs to find and learn how to operate a salt shaker. For our entrees, we chose the Chicken Piccata and the Lasagna Matta. The piccata came out with two incredibly small chicken tenders. The entire meal was flavorless and bland. It was served in a soup around the noodles. This must have been the attempt at the piccata sauce. The 7 capers they had in the sauce did little to fix the taste. The Lasagna came with high praises from the waiter. Once we got to the actual lasagna, it was actually good. But they covered it in so much cheese that we had to dig to get to the meat and noodles. The cheese made for a layer of grease that was walled off with some of the noodles to make the rest edible. For dessert we went with a chocolate cheesecake. This was a brown hockey puck that had clearly been frozen and then refrigerated. It was hard on the outside and as dense as the person who came up with the Vaccinated only rule. It was just bad. Final tally….Hard Pass. Since there is no way to reply to your reply, I figure I would update my post. Not once did you come to our table. And yes, the pictures do look good. But you can put lipstick on a pig and underneath, it's still a pig. The meal was not worth the money. Your response shows me that you don't take criticism well. I have reviewed well over 100 restaurants, from a chick fil a, all the way to Michelin rated restaurants. You fall in the category of Wendy's. If I eat at Wendy's, I have a certain expectation. When I pay $150 for a meal, I'd like to not need pepto bismol for the next week. Now you can use this to upgrade the way you store and prepare your food, or you can keep the chip on your shoulder and think you will survive with you bar up front. But hey, Gordon Ramsey is always looking for new places to fix on Kitchen Nightmares.
