Tin Lizzy’s has delicious tacos, amazing margaritas, and flavorful nachos. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. You have to try the steak and mushroom taco it’s absolutely perfect!
We could not have been more pleasantly surprised! Our server Ali was delightful and attentive! We ordered the fried jalapeños and the chicken con queso tacos. The food was incredibly good!!! So fresh and the chicken was hot and delicious! We will definitely be back!!!
Amazing. The food was great. Our waiter was great. They were helpful in answer questions we had about dietary restrictions. The chips are amazing. Glad we got cake too. A shame we aren’t local so we can come regularly!
Service was excellent!! First time here; food was delicious. Service was amazing. Our server, JB, was really sweet and attentive. Will definitely return!
Great Food and Service with a smile! What more do you want. I had 2 Tacos and a side Salad and that was just the perfect meal size.
Ordered delivery from here. Everything came very well prepared. We had nachos and tacos. The nachos came with separate queso so that the chips stayed crunchy. Lots of yummy toppings. We ordered a few tacos....birria, low country boil, Greek, steak & mushrooms....all were delicious!
I had an amazing experience! Everything was absolutely delicious, & the restaurant is so cute. I had the lobster taco and the steak and Philly taco and they were amazing. The drinks are strong, the waiters are attentive, and the vibe is definitely there. I am coming back every week! Jack was the best! Ask for him.
Great first experience! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive! The food was flavorful and everyone enjoyed. We’ll be back again whenever visiting Atlanta!
Very good food. There was a mess up with our coke order but the server was very responsive and fixed it right away. The bowls were filling and delicious. The appetizers on the happy hour menu were very well priced as well. Nice atmosphere inside with TV's playing sports and music on speakers.
Rabbit was amazing server. The food was delicious and a lot less expensive than I expected. The food portion sizes were perfect. 10/10 experience. I couldn't be happier.
This restaurant was outstanding , definitely made our trip here worth it , the food was fresh and seasoned , the drinks were just right every flavor hit just right , service was amazing and the environment is so calming and welcoming .
Jeremiah was incredible! So attentive and friendly. Great drinks from the bar too, great ratios :) 10/10 recommend!
Andrey, bar tender, was professional and personable. Our drinks were perfect. The TX bowl is always delicious.
I highly recommend the Mango Shrimp Quinoa Bowl—so refreshing and full of flavor! I also tried the Just Passion Time margarita, and it did not disappoint—tangy, smooth, and seriously good!
Had a great meal at their new location. Our server was Caitlyn and she was so friendly, never hurried us and knew so much about the menu. I didn't even have to ask for no ice in my water, she was on it! She advised my hubby about the Philly taco and she was spot on! I had a skillet and she was able to get me my fried shrimp in it. It was SO good and if I ordered it again I would omit the circular chilis, it was more of them than I like but it was all so good still. Chips and salsa were nice and a great value! The bar looked nice, but we don't drink so never got anything from it. The manager Patrick, stopped by all the tables and he visited with us and chatted between tasks. He was so great!! I highly recommend this place in Midtown, so many restaurants have gone by the wayside but Tin Lizzy persists and still has great food!
Are you in Downtown Atlanta looking for Mexican? Considering Superica or Little Rey? Pass on both and stop here. From the beginning, service left nothing to be desired. My friend and I chose to sit at the bar and were immediately greeted by Pretty, who understood that my friend was visiting from Chicago and proceeded to show him what ATL can do. First round of drinks included Margaritas and Mezcals. We may or may not have started a friendly competition with the staff on who could prepare the best Marg, only to find that all of them came out in spades with preparing slightly different versions of an old favorite. Chips and salsa were plentiful by this time. Their chips are perfectly seasoned, which I must say, impresses me being that so many of the "must visit" Mexican restaurants in ATL serve chips as if they're fresh out of a bag. Food followed. The tacos were generously loaded. My friend ordered the Birria tacos which included a generous portion of Au jus.I ordered the Buffalo Chicken tacos, which were filled to the brim with perfectly cooked chicken marinated in buffalo sauce, topped with carrot strips. In the meantime, Pretty continued to check on us and make conversation. By the time we finished our dinner, we took more than a few shots of Casamigos. This is bar-none one of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in ATL. Within walking distance to Arts Center Station (Marta). Plan your visit and let Pretty+Staff make your experience unforgettable.
Great place to hang out! Low prices!
From beginning to end Tin Lizzy is amazing! Me and my daughter were delighted with the service, meal and bill! Our waitress was Liz, there is no better! They offer a military discount!! Thank you! Robby and Megan Williams
Stopped by on our way out of Atlanta for lunch and have zero complaints! Customer service was 10/10, restaurant vibes were high and it was very clean! Food good as always!
Great place! 7 people and everyone raved about their food!!
Amazing environment, great vibe, delicious food, and great drinks during Taco Tuesday! The staff, waiters, bartenders are super nice too. Come here, don’t think twice! 😊☺️
Visiting from charlotte. Seen this cute spot. Glad we stopped to eat here tacos were delicious and nice atmosphere.
Best tacos I ever had, fab Margaritas and service 🤗
Delicious food, attentive and friendly service, and cool vibe. Reasonable prices too! Be aware that using the QR code to pay charges some kind of merchant service fee that gets passed on to you.
My food was really good. My boyfriend got the Mango Shrimp Quinoa Bowl. I got the fried chicken, fried lobster, and executive taco .
Looove this place! Esp special short rip taco was amazing! The crispy taco, perfectly grilled right before being served, was exquisite.
We ordered the veggie Nachos, and Mahi Mahi taco! Everything was delicious! Service was extraordinary! Definitely recommend
Rabbit was wonderful for service and conversation! The food came quick and was perfect, Short Rib Birria and the consume was one of the best I've had. Thanks for taking care of us!
I really enjoyed my food and the atmosphere, but I especially enjoyed the service. Special shoutout to our server Audrey! She was very kind, fast, and efficient! I will definitely be coming back here.
Excellent food and great vibes! Steph was so welcoming and attentive to whatever we needed. Highly recommend for unique tacos and delicious margaritas!
Jeremiah and Jack were super kind to me. Jeremiah asking my name and making sure he addressed me immediately at the bar made me feel special. Walked across the street and I've been sitting at this bar for 20 minutes watching the bartenders ignore me on their phone. It's nice to see service being done right. Thank you guys!
Had dinner here while in the area for a convention, walked in and sat right down on a Friday night. The staff was super friendly and the menu had plenty of options for the people in the party. The cheese dip was really good along with the grilled mahi tacos.
Tiny Lizzy is the vibe in itself..omg...I absolutely 💯 love this joint. Great price , great food, and great drinks. Location location location..and on Saturdays you can go to the farmer market right out the back door where locals come black own esp ...and the hub is there as well ....professional personality from waiters , greeter, bartenders..I SINCERELY HOPE THEY KEEP IT GOING CUZ MOST RESTURANTS LOSE THEIR GRIT......LAST 5Years since I have been a true fan customer its been on point...I told soo many folkz and they tried it and word of mouth all my friends etc keep going..perhaps I need a referral fee..
Audrey was excellent! Food was quick, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the chicken con queso taco. And the option to pay with Sunday through the QR on the table was SO nice - made things nice and speedy at lunch time!
Tin Lizzys…. What can I say. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, delicious food. I had a steak and mushroom taco. My cousins had an original taco salad. The meat had a savory taste with just enough give of fat to keep it steaky. I’d recommend this place definitely
Visited the Midtown location for Sunday lunch. They weren’t busy; had bright atmosphere- comfy booth , pleasant staff, server was attentive and food was good. We had the Cantina bowl & taco salad.
I took my mom here for a quick lunch. Love it. Our tacos were delicious.
Food was pretty good and the atmosphere was great. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was tasty. No complaints.
First time visiting this location. We have been regulars at the original location in memorial and the perimeter location. The ambiance is very very different from the others. Not my fav but very clean and beautiful. Staff was wonderful. Something about the food was different.
Rabbitt ain't the 2 but THE ONE!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 Giving us exceptional service on his BIRRFFDAYYYY! Baby gurl, you did that. We had such a good time. Hard to believe Rabbitt hasn't been serving here long because Rabbitt was so knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations for typical menu item regulars who wanted to experiment, and he was engaging and even delighted our conversation. You rock, Rabbitt! Give em a raise! Also, drinks were mid. The tajin rim gave my classic margaritas a kick. The drinks are usually better. And this current salsa is a -1 compared to the old salsa. Please change back. Not a fan of this grocery store brand tasting salsa. Otherwise, tacos and apps were delicious. Will come back per usual.
First time at this restaurant, love for 🌮 got me here! They didn't have much of vegan options, but I got the quinoa salad bowl with cilantro lemon dressing without chicken & cheese. It was delicious and filling but the dressing was spicy for me. I wish it was mentioned in the menu. Ordered some cauliflower tacos as well and side of guacamole with chips. Guac was phenomenal, fresh and good in taste. I wish they included more vegan options in the menu. Nevertheless it was a good experience.
I think I was more impressed 2 years ago. I ordered 3 classic fish tacos and 2 chicken con queso. Ended up getting four chicken and ONE fish taco. Taste isn’t what it used to be, anyway. UPDATE: manager was understanding and redid my order.
This was a nice place, the food was good, but a long wait time (didn't seem busy) The fried pickles were some of the BEST I've had. 👌 The service wasn't that great, our waiter did not check on us often. Took a long time to get the check, even after we finished eating and received our to-go containers. My guess was the guy wasn't an experienced waiter. However, we all enjoyed our visit and the food. We came hungry and left happy.
We walked in and waited for over 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. Other people came in behind us and were also waiting. 5 people walked by us, 3 of them more than once (while making eye contact) before anyone spoke to us. Your restaurant looked steady, but not busy or understaffed. It took over 20 minutes for our first drinks. We had been sat for an HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES before our tacos came out. This was after our server came to tell us the lobster tacos I ordered were out of stock (a good 30-40 minutes after ordering). Second round of drinks took just as long. From walk in to pay, it took almost 2 and a half hours - FOR TACOS. Who is managing this place? They are clearly failing. Do better. I know it’s the south, but I used to live in the south, and it’s not this slow.
I walked here from the room and ordered my food at the bar It didn't seem too busy I ordered a few items chicken taco, steak tacos, fish taco and quinoa bowl. My food was ready in about an 30 mins I was getting sleepy it was a long day and didn't notice that then chicken tacos wasn't in the bag until we got all the way to the room to eat! I was not happy About having to walk back I spoke to the manager on the phone and he stated that he had asked the cook If it was in the bag why would I lie I don't want to have to walk 16 minutes at 10:45pm at night! I didn't get that at all! I told him I'm coming back and told him I had to walk back he didn't seem to care once I gotten there the taco was ready. He handed it to me with no apology or hey you want something to drink or a credit nothing he started watching television. The manager needs customer service training I won't be coming back to this location at all.
Following a disappointing dinner elsewhere, we stopped at Tin Lizzy’s Cantina hoping to salvage the evening with well-made drinks. I ordered a Skinny Margarita, and my husband chose the “So Fresh, So Clean,” which was described as being made with fresh basil. However, we were informed that basil was not available. The drink was also noticeably sweet for our taste, so I requested a bit of lemon juice to balance it rather than asking for a replacement. Unfortunately, both cocktails felt overly basic and lacked depth and balance. We struggled to finish them, and overall, the drinks did not justify the visit. If you are looking for thoughtfully crafted cocktails or a memorable bar-hopping experience, this may not be the ideal spot or not even for any cocktails.
My friends and I were drawn to this “taco” place thinking we were in for a treat. Spoiler alert: we weren’t. As Mexicans, we were excited to find some good tacos—turns out we just found disappointment wrapped in a tortilla. I ordered the lobster taco, which came out cold and completely flavorless. The nachos? Served on a tray like it was lunch at summer camp. No creativity, no seasoning, just vibes… bad ones. And the salsa? Singular. Just one. Basically tomato sauce pretending to be salsa. Not spicy, not bold, not even interesting. The only star this place gets is for being clean. The service was meh—polite, but nothing to write home about. Honestly, if you’re craving real tacos, keep walking. This isn’t it.
I’m very disappointed with the service. I hope the staff gets proper training. The server who was in charge of table 302 today. She made a mistake with my order but tried to blame me for it. I clearly said I didn’t want the lobster tacos, and you even acknowledged it. At first, you apologized, but later you changed your story and said I confirmed I wanted the tacos when you double-checked. Paying for the wrong tacos isn’t a big deal for me. What bothers me is that you didn’t take responsibility for your mistake. You should’ve just apologized and left it at that—instead of changing your story. The food was good.
Walked in, looked at the menu in an almost empty restaurant and NO ONE came over to check with us on anything even though we made eye contact with multiple people. Now I understand why even with a game in town, you only had 3 active tables. We were there for almost 10 minutes with zero contact. We left.
I ordered delivery through Uber Eats and was extremely disappointed. I got the fried lobster taco, buffalo taco, tater tots, and queso blanco. Everything was poorly prepared and even worse packaged. The tater tots were a soggy, mashed mess—completely ruined because they were packed in the same container as the queso. For how overpriced they were, I expected at least a little care in packaging. The fried lobster taco was flavorless, and the “buffalo” taco didn’t taste like buffalo at all. The queso blanco had a processed, plastic-like taste, and the chips were bland and unseasoned. Overall, it’s amazing that a restaurant still hasn’t figured out how to deliver basic items like tater tots without them turning into mush. Definitely not worth the money.
