Incredible food, amazing service and comforting atmosphere! We ordered a little bit of everything, the meatball flight, fried mozzarella, crispy potatoes, Caesar salad and the Roni pizza, all were delicious but I will be back again soon for that pizza, it was so flavorful and has a unique twist on pepperoni pizza with the chili honey! (Happy hour has some good deals too)

Riley was so sweet. She definitely took care of our big group of 19. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food with an exquisite atmosphere-this is the place to treat yourself.

While visiting my brother in law, he took us to Grana because he said it was one of his go-to spots in ATL. We really enjoyed the meatball flight, chicken cutlets, pizzas, and paccheri. Our server was attentive and the food came out from the kitchen quickly. They offered for us to sit on the rooftop, which sounded like a good idea, but it was super windy when we got up there. We appreciated that the staff was really nice and accommodating about letting us go back downstairs. All around a great meal!

OMG. Everything we had here was phenomenal. The food was amazing. Great service. We got the arugula salad, butternut squash salad and pasta. So, so good. Tiramisu was also great!!

If you live in the A you know you have to make reservations 2 months in advance due to the high volume of people celebrating whatever Holiday. Well, I forgot but Grana on Piedmont had some open spots so I made reservations there for me and the wifey on Valentine's Day. Extremely happy that we did because we ended up having Hannah as our server. She was fantastic! Told us about the menu, made suggestions, and even shared a common interest in fresh garlic with me. The food was hot, fresh, and looked as advertised. The ambience was warm and welcoming. The rooftop was really nice as well and the old fashioned that I had was strong and tasted good. Overall, we are making this a go-to spot for Italian food. Try the meatball flight! It will not disappoint!

Ordered from here for the first time from UberEats. The pizza was prepared well and the ingredients tasted fresh. Will dine in next time to enjoy the full experience.

Me and my friends stopped to have dinner here on Saturday night and it was PERFECT. I highly recommend The Local Beef meatballs the were savory with just a hint of sweetness. The pizza was delicious if you like thin crust. We also got to try a trio of desserts the tiramisu being my favorite. The best part of the night was definitely the server Noah who was kind and humorous. Will be BACK!!!

Good vibe. Sat at bar with Janae new to Grana. She ensured we were taken care of in between working the bar and restaurant. I was undecided on cocktail so she made me a birthday cocktail with amaretto. It was tasty. Great spot valet parking on a Thursday wasn’t too crowded. I recommend will eat there again.

My new favorite Italian spot in ATL!! Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS. Our server was super helpful & friendly, too! Highly recommend the meatball flight & Caesar salad but I honestly think you can’t go wrong with anything they offer!

This was my second time visiting Grana in a long time! Food: For our appetizer, we got the Fried Brussel Sprouts and these were insanely good! I remember being so impressed with the flavor profile of them even last time I visited, and having them again last night gave me the same feeling. Definitely a must-try even if you don’t typically enjoy brussel sprouts! For my main dish, I got the Gnocci Alla Sorrentina, served with pomodoro, basil, and mozzarella. The portion is smaller than some of the other dish options (like the eggplant parm), but pretty standard for a pasta dish. The flavor was just okay. We also ordered the Wild Mushroom Pizza for the table and it was delicious. I really enjoyed the caramelized onions that come on it. Service: Our server was really fun! He was making fun of me for various things throughout the night (which were deserved in my opinion lmfao) but it was obviously in a non-serious manner. At the very end of dinner he brought me a free cannoli as an apology for picking on me which was very kind of him. If he sees this I hope he knows I also completely took his comments as a joke so I hope he doesn’t feel badly about it. Cannoli was great also LOL. I also wanted to make a note about the service in general: it is outstanding! Even when I was passing through the restaurant to go to the restroom some servers were walking around and I would say excuse me and pass them and they would say be very kind and say “no excuse me” or “let me get out of YOUR way”. The staff also seems very patient. I was extremely impressed with how great the service was. Atmosphere: Very cute interior and exterior area. I love the lighting, it feels brightly lit while also maintaining a somewhat romantic aura. Fun spot for a date night or hang out with friends. We went on a Tuesday so it wasn’t super busy either. TLDR: Cutesy/casual place to visit and grab dinner! Fun atmosphere and good food.

I visited this restaurant with my husband and it was an excellent experience. I tried a delicious pasta and a perfectly made cocktail. The atmosphere is cozy and the service was very friendly. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.

I really enjoyed the food here. I am glad we did not leave as we were about to do. Service: Starting from the beginning, we were seated and no server came to our table to say anything or bring water. After some time I began to notice and started timing. At the 10 minute mark I was going to leave. A waitress came over just as I was going to tell my family we should go somewhere else. The waitress said they were in the process of shift changing. That’s fine but someone should have communicated that to us, instead of everyone just walking by, not saying a word. It’s like we were being ignored. The waitress that did end up coming to serve us was attentive and knowledgeable. She apologized for our wait once I told her we were about to leave. I do not remember her name but she was a fellow Aquarian with glasses. I enjoyed her service. She was helpful and was on top of handing 5 people. Food: the food was amazing! We had two pepperoni pizzas, garlic bread, Caesar salad, calamari/shrimp, buttered pasta, and two of the rigatoni pasta. Everything was delicious! I for sure recommend the pizza, garlic bread and rigatoni pasta. It was all flavorful. My sister in law said she could not find the shrimp in the calamari and it was not fried to her preference but it was not bad. Drinks: I had the apple cider margarita. It was not bad but it kind of tasted like water. I would not get that again if I’m looking for a strong drink. Overall, good place. I recommend their food! It’s a cute place. Oh They gave me a free build your own cannoli for my birthday which was nice.

Alisa was a great server today. She was very attentive and on top of everything. My wife has a salt restriction and she convey that to the kitchen perfectly. We love Grana! Absolutely a great dining experience here! The staff are very good and the food is amazing! I especially like the pepperoni pizza!

K

We loved the ambiance and vibe of the place. We ordered the famous meatball flight and our favorite was the pork & crispy veal meatball. Our least favorite meatball was the local beef meatball bc it was on the sweeter side with the black truffle jam. The drinks were very good. They have free valet which was nice and we were able to get a keepsake matchbox too! I will say the prices are a bit pricey but then again it is Atlanta

We sat on the rooftop at 3pm and it was such a nice summer vibe. The food was very good especially the pizza. But the best part was the staff personalities. All happy to be there which was so nice! Very nice place we will be back for more pizza. ASAP!

If you are looking for a fantastic group activity, I cannot recommend the pasta making class at Grana enough. The Class Experience Chef Bruce was an incredible guide. He was patient, perfectly tailoring the pace to our group’s skill level. He was more than happy to answer all of our questions, making the session both fun and genuinely informative. The Dinner & Perks After we finished cooking, we enjoyed a lovely seated, family-style group dinner that was the perfect way to bond. To top it all off, we were sent home with thoughtful gift bags containing our fresh dough and—the highlight—cannolis to go! Seamless Planning A huge thank you to Sydni, the event planner. Working with her was a total breeze; she was incredibly responsive, flexible, and made the entire coordination process stress-free. It truly was a magical evening. Whether for a team outing or a celebration with friends, Grana is the place to go!

Everything was amazing, pizza and meatballs were my favorite. The Brussels sprouts are also a must. Delicious cannolis too, a fun build-your-own process. They also have a gluten free option for pastas

What can I say? Walked in for a reservation and opted for the bar, and we are so glad we did! The bar tender was so amazing and so personable! She made wonderful recommendations and we took her up on all of them! Drinks were amazing and the food was also delish! Would highly recommend this restaurant.

What a great dining experience we had today at Grana. From the entering to exiting, everything was spectacular. We went shortly after opening around 3pm. The hostess (who was on crutches) was so welcoming when we entered. We chose to sit on the roof, and it was beautiful but extremely hot. They thankfully have plenty of shade and fans to keep you cool. Our server/bartender Pharaoh was excellent and gave great recommendations. We ordered drinks, beef meatballs, pepperoni pizza and pasta. Everything was delicious. I mean delicious. I loved the interior design and the rooftop bar. We really loved the experience and can’t wait to come back!

K

Loved this place. Went out with colleagues and we got a lot of food. Their garlic bread is fantastic. You can tell the food was made with fresh ingredients too. We got a free dish, which was cool. The Brussels sprouts are sooo good. I think the sauce isn’t enough for the potatoes.

This place is so freaking delicious!! My favorite is the Rigatoni! They make the best gluten free pasta. The vibes are high, the place is huge and the service is always great. The food is always consistent!!

Excellent restaurant with great food and cocktails. Our waitress was very nice and made sure we were set. Garlic bread is more of a pizza, but tasted delicious. Meatball flight is so delicious and cavatelli is fresh. Cannoli (not pictured) was great as well. Highly recommend the goat/lamb milk version

Grana is a must eat modern, luxe Italian restaurant in Buckhead that you definitely should add to your list of restaurant. They offer a variety of dishes and great drinks, however there are a few must try’s I highly recommend. The meatball appetizer is super good and allows you to sample all of the meatballs on the menu! Each one has a unique taste and flavor and are very delicious. The pasta dish with short rib was amazing as well! Could’ve used a little more sauce, however, super good and tender. They have many different pizzas to choose from. I had the Roni which is a traditional pepperoni pizza with a twist of chili honey. I added bacon and that topped it off well! Their drinks are great and they have an amazing rooftop to hangout at and take in the city. Highly recommend Grana! Tip based valet is available and this restaurant can be used for any occasion.

The experience was very good, the food was also quite good, the atmosphere was pleasant, the service is very good, thanks to Pedro, his attention was quite cordial and pleasant, we had to sit at the main bar because we did not make a reservation and the place was full so I recommend making a reservation, it was interesting because you can make your own cannoli, which is what we chose for dessert. I leave you a photo of what we ate and the menu, also of what came out so you have an idea.

I’ve come here for dinner several times now and it’s always consistently great! The rooftop patio is beautiful with lots of dining seating as well as soft lounge seating. From the pizza to the salads and pastas, you can’t go wrong. Perfect Italian date night or girls night out!

Amazing amazing amazing... the ambiance and decor are gorgeous. The rooftop has dope views. We sat at the bar for a drink and take out... Scott was GREAT! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and all around created a great first visit for us!! The drink list has some great options! The basil drink was REALLY good... the flavor was definitely on point. The pizza was cooked perfectly. the crust was spectacular.... and the toppings, BOMB and fresh!! I’ll definitely be back for the margarita, rooftop relaxation on a nice day, and to try the pastas and Brussels!! There are also a few more pizzas I wanna sink my teeth into! I’ll keep you guys posted.

As a first-timer with my family, Mat and Hannah took really good care of us. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the care they have for customers. I didn’t really like my plate, but they were quick to take care of it and made sure to fix it with no hesitation, which we appreciate a lot. Overall, our experience and the other food we tasted were great, and I hope to be back to see what more Grana has to offer.

Placed a togo order this evening. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for 5+ years, you can tell how good the service is based on how they treat people picking up togo orders. Chance was exceptional in assisting me with the change I made in my food order and was very helpful. Will be back, but to dine in next time. The pizza… 9.3/10

Truly a great experience! We came for an anniversary and we would definitely come again, we had Rodrigo as our server and he was extremely helpful, informative, and friendly. We got mocktails, fried mozzarella, and then the new york pizza with prosciutto added and they were all incredible! The scenery was perfect, and we would love to come back soon!

Made a reservation for 18 people, wasn’t sure how it would go considering how large our party was. We were served by Riley, she was amazing, genuinely one of the best servers I ever had. She was thorough, patient, attentive and just pleasant. She made our experience so much better. And as far as the food, it was amazing! The pizza, meatballs, mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, pasta. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Thank you Grana and team!

I love bringing my Nonna. Not only because she loves the wood fire shrimp, broccolini, and potatoes; but its very accommodating to her being in a wheelchair. We particularly love Grana's brunch. Brought her in for her 93rd birthday and everything was perfect. The staff even signed a lovely card for her before we left. She was very touched. @porchettagroup always treats us well, and the food has never disappointed.

We all understand how service can make the difference on an experience. If I could give Cici 10 stars I would. We had a large group and none of us lacked for attention from her. The food was great but the service made the whole experience that much better. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Always a great time at Grana. The staff truly cares and they pay attention to the details. I wasn’t at the host stand for more than four seconds when someone came up to make sure I was taken care of. Cece created a beautiful atmosphere at our table and made my birthday dinner really special. Thank you for the wonderful service!

To be completely honest, I would have given 5 stars for service if the hostess wasn’t cold and abrupt with us. My boyfriend made lunch reservations for Valentine’s Day at 1:45pm yesterday. We walked inside and there was a couple already sitting on the bench as if they were waiting on their table. As we approached the hostess stand, the hostess with the dark hair came sauntering over and when my boyfriend started to tell her we had a reservation, she curtly cut him off and told him the other couple was there before us and she’d get to us when she was done with them. She could have at the very least let him get his sentence all the way out first and then said she will seat us after she takes care of them. That was a rude start. I wasn’t happy. He told me to let it go and I did. She came back and took us to our table and her overall demeanor was still cold. Our server Dylan was FANTASTIC. His vibe really saved the afternoon. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the calamari and fried mozzarella! Everything was hot and fresh. For our entrees, I had the ditalini and he had the paccheri. The pasta was cooked perfectly as well as the shrimp and mussels in mine and his short rib was amazing. Our food was hot and flavorful and fresh! Dylan brought us extra Parmesan and crushed red pepper flakes and that took the dishes up another notch. I enjoyed the Italian Blush cocktail and if you enjoy gin drinks, get that one. My boyfriend had the whiskey sour and that was equally as good. We didn’t indulge in dessert but we did receive 2 complimentary glasses of Prosecco so that was definitely a nice touch. Dylan even went as far as to write on our receipt and put a heart sticker on it to “have a killer time” at the serial killer exhibition which was our next stop after lunch! I’ll definitely request to sit in his section next time. We enjoyed the food and Dylan’s service so much that we will definitely be back. Hopefully the hostess will have a better attitude and I can amend this review so that the service reflect that.

She expressed a craving for light Italian fare, though the notion was so paradoxical that we briefly wondered whether such a thing exists beyond myth. After a period of earnest searching and philosophical resignation, we settled upon Grana. It was a Monday evening and the restaurant world lay in a state of genteel slumber. We fortified ourselves with cocktails while attempting, in vain, to order modestly. We chose the meatball flight, pleasant enough with a curious play on flavors, though priced as if each sphere had been blessed by the Pope himself. A sum so offensive it drove us to drink more, purely on principle.

It's an Italian restaurant in Atlanta that we went with family.Atmosphere was great ,food we ordered was fresh and tasty and the service also very good. Overall we enjoyed it.We ordered wild Mushroom Pizza ,garlic bread , Egg plant Pramigiana and Ravioli.

Wowoweewa. Big day today. Pulled an all nighter last night for some fraternity. Can’t say what because of confidentiality or some agreement. The day was rough but now it’s going to be a great night out. Food and service were amazing. Amazing pizza, thinking of Dave portnoy pizza reviews. My friend who is kinda fat gave it a good review like a 7.7 I think. I ate way too much and now I’m scared that I will throw up if I drink too much tn. Hopefully not. Anyways midcourt was alright but sad and the food was solid. My Beli gave it a 7.2 but I rate it sounds the same at a 7.5 because of the experience and atmosphere.

Ordered the Ravioli (not pictured), garlic bread, and mushroom pizza. Overall great atmosphere and food tasted fresh. Only things I would change is that they gave marinara sauce with the garlic bread and fresh shaved Parmesan with the pasta and pizza.

N

Food was great but service was a bit slow, had to wait quite a bit for drinks to be served. Overall great experience!

Before the review: parking is a hassle. So is the wait for valet. You’ll want to take rideshare to get here. Grana has a menu with brilliant flavors. The smoked mozzarella sticks were a very unique and flavorful appetizer, as well as the meatball flight. If you can’t pick which meatballs to go after, you gotta pick the flight. You’re going to want to eat dinner family style so you can try a little bit of everything. The diavolo pasta is fresh, spicy, and satisfying. The potato pizza is unexpected and somehow blissful. The eggplant parmigiana is served in a way you haven’t seen before. It’s layered so it’s tender and juicy. Many dishes here have a personalized style no other Italian restaurant in Atlanta will give you.

Gathered with a group of friends for a Sunday night meal. Place was surprisingly packed but we were seated right away for our 7PM reservation. Due to the busy nature, the drink service and food ordering was a bit uneven. Gracious and friendly servers, and appetizers came out quickly, but there was a wait for some of our entrees that came out 15+ minutes after the others. Food was hearty, flavorful with good sized portions. Highly recommend the pasta dishes and the garlic bread that comes out like garlic and cheese pizza. This food satisfies and recommended.

Great experience. Food was good, mock tail was very, very sweet. Really couldn't drink it but got some sparking water and used it to flavor the bottle.. was great after that. They seemed understaffed. Bartender was EVERYWHERE, but still provided awesome service and explanations on the food. Will definitely be back.!

Pretty fun and tasty place! We happened to go early enough to grab a spot on the roof which was awesome!! The server was nice, and we had happy hour!! I ordered the aperol spritz, which was a great summer drink!! We split the mommy’s and Nonna’s meatballs, which was super tasty!! I also ordered the New Yorker pizza and cavatelli! I thought the restaurant was tasty but thought their options were overpriced!

S
Saeed Hafez

I haven’t been to Grana for a while, so I decided to go in for dinner. I found the menu rather limited with not many pasta options to choose from. I got the chicken cutlet appetizer which was citrusy, juicy, and has hint of Parmesan cheese flavor. I do recommend getting the marinara sauce on the side to complement the flavors. For main I got the margarita pizza, and I wasn’t super impressed. It was good but for the price and size of the pizza, I would rather go to Anticos and get a pizza from there instead. The service was great and the atmosphere is nice. Very hard to find free street parking. They do offer valet service.

K
Kailiang Huang

Italian restaurant with stone pizza ovens! Yeah you are right, they don’t just have 1 oven, they have two stone pizza ovens!!!! So definitely try out the pizza and it was a bomb! The service is on the spot. The staff are all attentive and chatty. The open kitchen style layout is pretty casual. The only drawback is limited parking around. Other than the pizza, felt like the rest of the food is on the sour side some how, at least for the dishes we order.

A
Abdi

For starters, we indulged in the garlic bread appetizer. Which was more of pizza then a garlic bread but tasted wonderful. The cavatelli, my chosen main course, was very good. The pasta was cooked very well, and the accompanying sauce was alright. Nothing exciting. My friend opted for the wood-roasted chicken, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was succulent and flavorful according to my friend.

We arrived at 7:25 for our 7:30 resi for two, granted we understand there’s a wait to get seated occasionally but we had two large groups who arrived after us us get seated before us within in the 15 minutes we were waiting. when asked when we would be getting seated after that, the hostess (a young lady with glasses) stated “you can address the manger with that”. Both hostess were cold ( we noticed they told others to have a good night when leaving but as we walked by they just looked at us) but wait staff was friendly and we otherwise had a ok experience.

Loud annoying music during lunch. Asked to lower it a bit, chef put it back on high volume. I was forced to lunch with loud Reggae. Not what I Intended. I’d have asked for the check when the music went back high but the waitress was so nice, that we decided to wait for the dishes. We ordered Eggplant parmigiana, (2 out of 5) and a chicken parm (3 out of 5 - nice portion though). Appetizer was the meatball flight (5 out of 5). Good service, it was not 5 because of the music. Uncomfortable chairs. There’s a very convenient vallet service. Not planning to come back. I’d rate 3/5 but for the music episode, there goes a 2/5.

This is my 2nd time at Grana. The first time felt overpriced. Now I have the same sinking feeling… Paid $90 for a togo order, which was cold and had clearly been sitting for long time based on the staleness and temperature of the bread. I had a pick up time and the website gave me a later pickup time. I was shocked it would take 40 mins for my order and should have listened to my gut and arrived 20 mins after I place my online order. Grana needs to address this in their system because what the website tells a customer and actually ready pick up time are way off My cold salad is warmer than the bread. I wish this place had better food and service that was work $90 for an eggplant parm, 2 meatballs, a Caesar salad and garlic bread. Major regrets.
