Opinions de Kremy Donuts Atlanta
Lydia was amazing! Truly! Anytime, I drive by this location and the red neon sign is on… I stop. I have probably bought a doughnut from this exact Krispy Kreme 15 times approximately. I always get the exact same order. I get three fresh hot and ready glazed donuts with a whole milk. Every single time except for today, I am met with I wouldn’t say rude or bad customer service….. just people that you can tell it feels like sounds like they honestly just hate their job. Quick abrupt sometimes rude over the microphone and then when you get to the window, no smiles no warmth just give me money. Here’s your doughnut. But today it was different. Lydia was amazing, you could tell she was smiling, while she was taking my order. She looked me in the eyes and asked me how it was my day, and told me that she really hopes that I have a great day and a great night. And she did not ask me to give her a five star Google review, but when I feel that somebody goes above and beyond, I try to do my best to show my things and respect and appreciation. Lydia you are awesome and I hope life is good to you and you go far in life! Keep taking that extra 5 to 10 seconds and that extra little bit of effort to try and make people’s day better it is noted and it is appreciated and thank you for making my day better!
Lydia was absolutely amazing — truly! 🌟🍩 I have to give her the recognition she deserves. Anytime I’m driving by and see that red neon “Hot Now” sign glowing, I automatically pull in. It’s basically a tradition at this point. I’ve probably stopped at this exact Krispy Kreme at least 15 times, and I always order the same thing: three fresh, hot glazed donuts and a cold whole milk. Every. Single. Time. 😄🥛 Usually, the experience is… fine. Not terrible, but not exactly welcoming either. The service often feels rushed, abrupt, and kind of cold. Over the speaker, it can come across short or uninterested, and at the window there’s rarely a smile — just a quick transaction and that’s it. No warmth, no personality, just “pay and go.” But today? Completely different. ✨ Lydia was kind, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. You could hear the smile in her voice through the speaker, and when I got to the window, she greeted me with such positive energy. It honestly made my whole stop better. It’s amazing how one person’s attitude can completely change the experience. Thank you, Lydia, for reminding me what great customer service feels like! 🙌💛
For those who cherish the timeless charm of Charlie Brown, the fresh wave of Peanuts merchandise released each Christmas is a joyful reminder of the season's magic. I was thrilled to unwrap Peanuts Krispy Kreme donuts this year, and their delightful designs make them almost too lovely to eat. 🎄
This is the Krispy Kreme that defined doughnut for me. Decades ago when we just moved to US, we passed by it every day and it smelled amazing. One day we decided to purchase doughnuts and went in. The lady on the counter asked what we wanted, and we said that we didn't know because we never had a doughnut before. She gave us a little piece of every flavor of doughnut there was in that store to taste. That day, we purchased not just the doughnuts but also the the standards of how a doughnut should taste like (that never quite matched anywhere else if you ask me), and the warmth of doughnuts was the warmth and kindness of a complete stranger, who also set the standards of how we would treat others in the coming years. we recently moved back to Atlanta and visited the store again after many many years, and the doughnuts served to us had the same warmth, when the person on the register got us the doughnuts fresh from the cooling rack. With the bite, the doughnut had the spongy bounce back that I have only experienced a hand full of times when I got to eat the fresh baked dough. I initially thought it was a different store due to the stunning and beautiful remodeling but then I learned about the fire :( I love the new look! And I am realizing that this is one of the things that defines Atlanta for me!
Great local donut place. Had never heard of them before. Think it’s a new local business. Ordered some donuts for an event and I’m pretty sure the guy behind the counter hand-making the donuts was the owner. I heard rumors everything is locally sourced and organic. 10/10 would go back again. They should open up more of these.
Great donuts. Service is good. Atmosphere just so so. It’s meant more for carry out. Cinnamon rolls aren’t great. They don’t sell enough to make fresh each day
A lot of people that leave reviews at this place highlight the poor customer service. Which is definitely true. I do feel like it’s gotten a little bit better in the last couple of months though. The bad customer service has been Beaten like a dead horse, so I would like to highlight something else that I find extremely puzzling. The iced coffee is bizarre. The only way I can describe it is if you had a K cup coffee and reused the pod like five or six times. It’s extremely clear watered down and taste kind of like dish water. Even with cream in it, it looks transparent. And I wanna be clear that it doesn’t taste like just a poor quality coffee. It tastes like there’s something wrong with it. Like however, they’re making it is missing a step or they are taking the dregs Of the coffee machine and just diluting it down with water and ice. I was so curious if this was just like a one off situation. That may be that particular time I got the iced coffee there was something wrong with the machine. So I got another iced coffee on a different Day because I was curious and it was the same. And then months later, I told my friend about how bad the iced coffee was and said that he should try it and he had the same reaction. I would be so curious why their iced coffee is so bad if maybe they have a particular machine that they used to make the iced coffee and it’s broken or something.
We've only ever received an accurate order by going in the store. When you go through the drive through or delivery, they always throw in all glazed. The last time we were there a short young woman who was very sassy and flirting with another young gentleman kept screaming repeatedly "HELP ME HELP ME I DONT KNOW HOW HELP ME YOU DO IT". She also scoffed at us, saying, "yall want donuts at 11pm 😒"? As long as you go in and pick up in person it's awesome. Otherwise you're only getting glazed and a window slammed shut behind the wrong order.
ALL of this for Harry Potter donuts...I have been coming here for years!! There is smoke in their entire building on August 28, 2025. I told the supervisor, my receipt says MacKenzie (idk if that is her name but I did see a change in register) this who rang up my order. No apology no nothing. Just bad customer service with her saying, my eyes are affected too when I told her my eyes are getting watery. Then she claims she doesn't know the rewards and I told her my experience. If she is a supervisor, she should be knowledgeable. Do you know how many times she had to scanned my rewards? I didn't even have to ask, but she finally talks to her GM and the GM was like just comp this and then she finishes transaction and tells me the total. I had to ASK her what exactly I am paying for. She just said I discounted it and it will show on your receipt. She doesn't even tell me for what item... Can't even say that for the mistake of her asking me to redeem my rewards because she doesn't know if it would work. She obviously doesn't care and doesn't say it to avoid responsibility and genuinely doesn't want to help me. She claims she never said that. I told her I showed her my phone and she saw it. Then she claims it will give me back my points. She doesn't know what she is talking about. Really stupid for a supervisor and no sense of customer service. On top of that, I never seen an employee put 4 specialty donuts in a 3 pack box. I order the Harry Potter donuts which were more expensive. Just awful and this is my neighborhood Krispy Kreme. I just don't want that supervisor to serve me again. Upon seeing this review, she probably still won't take responsibility and just blame the customer 100%. At least what the GM told her makes sense, if there was a line and she spent so much time on my 5 donut and one drink transaction, is it worth it lady??? She is the type of person to lose sales for the business. And she had the nerve to ask me to move aside when their are other customers yet she had time to just spend too much time with the transaction when no customers in line, and I had to deal with the smoke, what a piece of work this supervisor is. No thank you, I causally took my time since she took forever. Promote someone else on the team to supervisor. Apparently she isn't getting paid enough to give me this attitude. Not caring about customers and saying we employees are dealing with the smoke. I would have gone home but apparently you need money so you gotta work. But don't have that non caring narcissist attitude to your customers, give them a good experience and stop making it about yourself. I don't want someone like her servicing me in the community. Nobody is getting mad at her, she just seems to get ticked off over the littlest constructive criticism and having a tone.
The atmosphere and service when greeted was great! The facilities were clean and beautiful, that's why we stopped in the first place. I ate my fires donut in the car, and it was delicious. The raspberry filling was awesome! Unfortunately, that was the only donut with raspberry filling! My husband and I ordered 6 chocolate iced donuts and 6 raspberry filled donuts. When we got home, I bit into another one and no filling! I opened up another one and nada! The other 3 were opened up with the same results. I only received one donut with raspberry filling! We live at least 35 minutes away and it wasn't worth it to return. But I was and still am extremely disappointed that we didn't get what we paid for! We made this purchase yesterday, Saturday, June 22, 2024.
We work for the city of Atlanta & we made a rest stop but they refused for us to use the restroom because we have to buy something Mr.Ben said no then walked away to get a code
Donuts were great, guy at the counter with the short dreads has serious attitude problems and bad customer service. Just rude in general, everyone else was nice. Consider putting him in the back he’s not fit for a customer service job and many people wont return after interacting with him, myself included.
First time at an actual Krispy Kreme store. Attempted to use the kiosk but was told we should order up front because they didn’t have some of the of the things on the menu. They told my daughter they were out of glazed donuts but did not offer a wait time for them so we ordered and then glazed donuts immediately available after her order was boxed. I ordered 2 large coffees that were filled 3/4 of the way filled… so I basically received a medium. One of the bakers, I believe, redeemed this place by offering a fresh glazed dount!
If you’re looking for an experience, this is not the Krispy Kreme to come to. The staff moved extremely slow and were not very friendly. Customer service has truly gone out the window. The donuts were good. But the hot chocolate that I grew up with was lacking the nostalgic (aka chocolate) taste that I remembered 🥲 2/5 ⭐️
I ordered two dozen glazed from the kiosk while the hot light was on. I waited for a while. It felt like the universe was telling me I shouldn’t eat donuts today. I went to the register, feeling validated when she greats me with “You’ve been waiting for a while.” Cancelling my order was seamless and everyone was pleasant. Giving two stars under service for having to watch all those donuts come off the conveyor and leave with nothing
My boyfriend came to this location after work because I seen they had New York Cheesecake donuts, so of course I wanted to try one. He had ordered 1 Raspberry cheesecake and 2 new york, they didn’t tell him till after he paid that they were out of the New York cheesecake so he ask for all to be raspberry cheesecakes. After he gets home I opened the box and it’s just raspberry filled donuts. If they were completely out they should’ve just said that instead of wasting his time and gave his money back. I had ate one to make sure that they were in fact only raspberry filled. I’m just so disappointed because I was really looking forward to try them.
This morning I went in to purchase two dozen donuts. Erica was extremely rude and argumentative. Her attitude and personality aren't even suitable for a Waffle House or a truck stop. She should not be in a customer facing position.
Received smashed and stale doughnuts, called for a refund and the manager said she'd refund. She never did. I called back several times and was often dismissed, ignored, and put on infinite hold on the phone. I'm actually currently on infinite hold for 35 minutes. The manager and employees are not only lacking decent customer service; they're actively hostile, rude and intentionally dismissive.
I’m so disappointed at the customer service at this location. I pulled up to the speaker at 6pm on 1/31 ready to order a hot dozen, but told I must come inside because they were in the middle of turnover. I’ve never heard of anything like that in my life; not to mention it’s 20 degrees outside. I offered to wait at the speaker, but told by the supervisor on duty that I needed to exit the line because I was not going to be serviced. I typically let things like this roll off my shoulders, but there were clearly not busy and simply chose not to provide decent service nor fresh product.
The staff is absolutely unprofessional. Shaq should fire everyone from this Sunday (01/25/2026). They're canceling orders and turning customers around. The 5 employees their shouldn't be employed. And the way the lady spoke to the other two guests was absolutely rude and refused to complete their order as well- complaining about working in the rain. QUIT THEN!!
Today at 10:15 AM, no front counter attendant and water all over the floor. The service person that was supposed to work the counter never turned around to acknowledge us. We were ignored and there were 6 visible employees present: 2 on drive thru, 2 standing in the doorway, the attendant with her back to us and the donut pastry chef. I'll take my business elsewhere vs being ignored. Sorry... but I refuse to support bad service.
Poor service at the Ponce de Leon Krispy Kreme. Long line, only 1 person working the walkup, donut case almost empty. The order I placed online and scheduled for pickup was no where to be found. Didn't even have the donuts, nor any idea of when they would make more of them. Employees in back standing around laughing and joking. This location needs better management and some oversight.
So I would like to share my experience with this particular location. I actually quite frequently visit this location for it is a favorite location. You know I haven’t been there since they open the new location so I thought that I would reach out to you know do a good deed to get some donuts for my franchisee so I went in last week and spoke with a young lady. She quoted me on some certificate so I decided to come back today in which we all know how Atlanta traffic can be. I came back across town went into the store to get some donuts asked for the young lady the lady was not there. The lady Erika tried to assist me in making the purchase for some certificates. I wanted to order 50 certificates which was came out of the value of $400 and then I added two more dozens on it would’ve caught brought roughly brought their order to 450 but the customer service was so nasty from the managerthe guy who was working in the drive-through that didn’t have a hair net on and shirt was untucked unprofessional like he didn’t wanna be bothered with a green shirt on. I only take it that he has to be a manager, but when Erika.
Absolutely ridiculous. We went to get a set of 6 original glazed donuts, and spoke with Kendarius who was working the drive through. We were informed that they were out of glazed and that they would be ready in 10 minutes. We tried ordering 6 other types of donuts from the menu on display only to be told that they're out of or discontinued on 4/6 of them. Not to be discouraged, we said we'd wait the 10 for the original ones. We asked if we should pull to the window and pay in advance and wait or if we should pull into the parking lot. Kendarius had us wait in the parking lot, so we set a timer. We pulled back to the window, only to be told they were out... WHAT? When we voiced our confusion and said we'd been waiting, he recognized us and said "You took too long. It's been way past 10 minutes... again, we set an alarm on our phone, so when we said that, he told us it had been 15 minutes. In what world is 15 minutes way past 10 minutes? Insane. So we asked if he had sold out of all his donuts in the 5 minutes that we were apparently too late to get? Finally be begrudgingly admitted he'd just sent them to the cooler, so we asked for the ones that had been sent to the cooler. He had such an attitude when he gave them to us (fun fact- they were still warm when we got them). I rarely leave negative reviews, but this just seemed like something out of a candid camera show!
First they didn't honor the coupon/offer sent to me by Krispy Kreme as a rewards members. Then after ordering, I'm rudely told "I'm only taking exact cash or card" when I proceed to pay for my order. This location really lacked customer service today.
On Saturday, June 21, 2024, I arrived at this location at 10:55 pm, the front door was locked, I could see the employees cleaning up and counting their registers, so I walked through the drive thru and the employees and managers said it’s 10:56 and we are closed! This is the third time this krispy Kreme has JERKED US OVER! The management SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES! I have worked in retail for years and we never turned a customer away until our doors were locked at closing time and not a minute before, shame on you all for having horrible employees that only care about getting off of work as opposed to Taking care of paying customers when the store should still be serving guests! I am sick of this particular store on Ponce De Leon in Atlanta! They have LOST A FAITHFUL AND LOYAL CUSTOMER DUE TO MANAGEMENT NOT HIRING POEPLE THAT ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! Shame on you all!!!!
