Rumi's Kitchen is geographically located in an affluent neighborhood in a commercial area. Restaurant is packed with satisfied customers and offers delicious food with Greta varieties. However, recent few visits reflect deterioration in food quality, not all customers have time & energy to express themselves and give their feedback. In order for the Restaurant to keep its premium image and satisfy their customers, they've to be on top of their game. Their grilled food at times is not properly cooked to the required temperatures & can cause issues. They charge $5 even for a cause that around come along complimentary when ordering premium meat kebabs. There's a long wait time but that can be adjusted if the food being served is top notch.
The food was very delicious and looked amazing. The staff were very friendly. The only negative was that our server didn’t give us enough attention. Drinks were late/forgotten, an appetizer was forgotten, we had to ask for knives, water was finally refilled when dinner was finished. A 20% tip was automatically added which was unfair for the service given.
Absolutely awesome! Dined with my 4 sisters tonight for dinner. The staff was more than accommodating to give us the perfect table. Our server was Helen and she was excellent. The food was outstanding. We started with cocktails and hummus, roasted cauliflower, and corn, followed by a family style serving of salmon & lamb kabobs, lentil & raisin rice and veggie kabob. Needless to say there was no room for dessert.
Excellent Persian food. Besides being authentic, they also serve some traditional and unusual Persian dishes that I never had elsewhere. They also serves a very generous portion. So go with your empty stomach. Moreover, they are very reasonably priced.
I went to this amazing place before catching my flight to Istanbul. Here is the summary of my amazing experience at this place in the Sandy springs location. 1) Ambiance 5/5: This is a fine dining restaurant with pleasant decor and ambiance which is soothing and inviting at the same time. The lightly dim light sets the mood and you can have date nights here as well. The only thing is that this place has little to no parking so get ready to have valet parking here. 2) Service 6/5: Although it was very crowded on a weekday and we did not have a prior reservation, we were pleasantly surprised to get seating pretty quick and also the food service was really quick. The people service us were helpful, pleasant and resourceful. 3) Food 5/5: Here is the summary of the food we had: a) Mirza Ghasemi: This is a Persian twist on my favorite Indian eggplant dish called baigan bharta. This was is less spicy and delicious. We all loved it. The quantity was great as well. It was served with Pita bread b) Chicken Kabob with Shirin: We had the option to swap the rice with anything on the menu. We tried the chicken kabob with Shirin which is a flavorful rice with orange zest, pistachios, almonds, and barberry. It was delicious and people who like sweet rice would love it. The chicken was tender and juicy with a great flavor profile. The server divided it into two plates and brought it for us. The quantity is good enough for 2 people. 4) Value for Money 5/5: At first it might look that this place is costly which is true but when you look at the food portion and the experience you are getting with such amazing service, this is totally worth it. I am coming back very soon to experience this place again :) The Good: 1) Quick Service 2) Ambiance 3) Food portions
It is a delightful experience eating here. Everything is made with love and the flavors are wonderful. It is our favorite restaurant! I highly recommend Mirza, Falafel, Chicken Barg and Persian Ice Cream. Great staff and service!! I'll keep coming back because I have developed serious cravings.
We travel often to DJ Indian weddings. As soon as we booked another wedding in Atlanta, GA we were on the look out for the best places to eat. Rumi's was recommended by the locals and sounded great. As soon as we landed we headed straight to Rumi's. There are two locations in Atlanta but we choose this one. The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was really good. The food was excellent. We liked everything we ate and drank. The two highlights were the Soltani Kabob and the Rumi's Old Fashion. I just found out they have locations in DC and Houston and their next location is opening in LA. We will definitely try them again in one of these locations soon. Let's see where we get booked next for
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta and one of the best Persian meals I've had in the United States. Everything from the rice to fall-off-the-bone lamb shanks was fantastic. The cocktails are excellent as well. I don't give many restaurants 5 stars but this one is worth it. I am grading on a full 5-star scale and do so with an implicit price-value curve. I am aware that many others on social media may grade on a 3-point (4 being an average score) or 2-point scale (4 being a poor score), but the fact remains that Google gives us a 5-point scale. To me, 4 stars is great, 3 stars is average and 5 stars should be rare - reserved for true excellence or near perfection.
I have never in all my years of dining experience such exceptional service. Customer service here was through the roof!!!! Our server was Malik, he was so kind and had such great spirits! I will be here again because the food is amazing, everything was a 100/10! Thank you to all the staff that was so kind and attentive to my friend and I. I had the sea bass, and I guess when plating the sea bass, it broke and messed up the aesthetic of the plating but honestly it was so good I didn’t even care. They brought out another piece of sea bass to accommodate the “ugly plated one” if that isn’t exceptional customer service idk what is. They truly care about what they put out and I’m impressed. My friend’s salmon was a little undercooked to her liking so as they were making another salmon for her, they brought out a complimentary salad of her choice while she waited on her entree. This place is worth the money, the experience, and your tastebuds, because across the board I was very happy and pleased with what I received at this restaurant!
The food is delicious and the service is awesome. Everything I ordered was perfectly seasoned anx full of flavor.Don't forget to order the crispy rice which isn't on the menu. This is one place that lives up to the hype. I was told the Midtown location is the best!
Stopped in here for a nice dinner. Place was amazing and the food was even better. Service was very attentive and the food came out fast we had a party of 18 and it was no problem with them serving. It was standing room only in the lobby and the restaurant was packed. The only downside was as a night progress that got louder and louder but that's just a sign of everybody having a good time.
This is my absolute favorite Persian food restaurant! Every time I am in Atlanta, I have to stop by Rumi’s. There is no headache for the parking either which is awesome. Every food menu option is great! Our server, Gideon, was so lovely and helpful :)
Service, Ambience and Food taste is great than Avalon branch. Love their new items on menu. Amazing taste as usual. Best Baklava I had is US and the Cardamom ice cream on side is just wow 🤩
I was told by my niece’s fiancé that this place serves the most authentic Persian food in Atlanta and naturally he took care of the ordering. We were first greeted with freshly made naan, falafel and kashk badenjoon (fried egg plant). I was told Falafel is technically not Persian but it was good anyway. For main courses, the lamb shank, koobideh (beef) kabob and ghormeh sandi (beef stew with kidney bean and dried lime, Persian dish not found in most restaurant) were all tasty. The grilled saffron Chilean sea bass, while a bit pricey at $48), stood out the most as it was well seasoned, cooked just right from timing perspective and juicy. Dishes came with four flavors of basmati rice - plain, saffron, dill and barberry. What a treat !!! Overall, food and ambience were great. But I was not impressed with the Maitre de. We waited 10 mins (with reservations made for 5) for them to “set the table” while the entire restaurant was practically empty. Of all tables, we were seated right next to the server station which totally didn’t make sense. We refused and asked to be seated at another table. The server was okay and no complaints there.
This place had the vibe going on. Tuesday, 7pm, packed. Left by 9, still had a wait. The food was amazing. They accommodated with ease and speed food allergies, and everything was delicious. I went with a large event and it didn't even phase them. They had everything working like clockwork. I want to give a shout-out to Jonathan our server tonight. He was amazing. Friendly, caring about my food allergies and on top of everything. Just incredible service. Next time I'm in town, I'll be back for sure.
We went with large group (9 people with reservation) and service was good, food came out relatively quickly. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait around 10 minutes. The chicken skewer dish was good, and there was complimentary pita bread/cheese to start. The atmosphere was on the louder side, and it was hard to hear sometimes. Some of their menu and offerings remind me of Delbar.
Went here to celebrate a new job for my daughter. The whole place is very well decorated. The atmosphere was excellent worth a very busy restaurant (even for a Monday night). The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The food was good for sure. But maybe not quite outstanding for my taste. Every main dish is focused around rice and I'm not a fan of rice. The starters are very good and the main courses were fine but nothing to write home about. Oh and just to qualify, there are vegetables available. Don't want to mislead. The desserts were excellent. Especially the ice cream sandwich.
A great lunch spot for some yum Persian food The most notable here is the service! I never had an empty cup! Love it. The food here is hearty solid! Everything we ordered turned out to be good looking and tasty. The lamb shank, kabobs, hummus, grilled shrimps and wings are good, although I was hoping for some pop in flavors which I did not find. I do like the restaurant ambiance. It’s hip and fun with spacious room inside and some spots outdoors. Valet parking makes it easy to get in and out. Happy eating!
Rumi’s Kitchen was an interesting experience because the environment and the food as a whole. The food was rather dry and needs some seasoning and lacked flavor, I kept thinking to myself there is no explosive therefore, making me lose interest. I enjoyed the grilled vegetables which added some flavor to my main dish. The squash platter or appetizer, had some flavor and the bread was amazing. On the other hand, The service was exceptional and I could not complain for anything. The server would refill my cup consistently, and would always check up on my partner and I. In addition, the server would consistently make sure we had a clean table with no issue and let us know his recommendations. Service was above and beyond in my honest opinion. Finally, this is a place i would not visit back unfortunately, but never hurts for others to try!
Eggplant appetizers were delicious! Koobideh kebab was excellent. Chicken barg was too. Dessert left a little to be desired. The creme brule had a flowery aftertaste, and cake was a little denser than I would have liked. Overall it was a great experience and I will be back. Music in the restaurant can be a little loud. I did asker server to turn it down. Valet parking was $2 plus a tip.
