ALL EXCELLENT, ABOVE AND BEYOND PROFESSIONALISM. GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING
I love eating here. The food is always good, the service polite and the place is always clean. I come here year after year and will continue. Definitely give Fujian a try. You will love it.
It's not that expensive in the food is good
The food is well-cooked and delicious , espicially the meat. I wish i had more space in my stomach for a third plate but two plates with a side of veggies and soup really did the job. The salmon and sesame chicken were my favorites. Worth it
Food was great, could've gone without our hostess just staring at us the entire time, but what can you do. Definitely 10/10 for the food
Beast Raisin food I've had ever. Unlimited seafood. And clean and organized. My favorite probably is the fruit bar and this Asian Seafood boil 10/10 I do recommend 😍
I like going there for the seafood and the rest of the food is good too ! Elda is the best waitress there , she is a lovely sweet girl and always in a good mood , the Chinese lady’s always starring at you and waiting for you to leave , If you go ask for Elda she will treat you right , make sure you tip her!
I've been to some good and some really bad all you can eat Chinese buffets. This one was actually really good for the price meaning good value. Lots of selections including a large variety of salad bar offerings which is unusual for a Chinese style buffet.food well cooked. Don't come here if you're looking for a gourmet. This is your good value a y c e
I never post about places but this is worthy of a 5 Star review. I have searched high and low for decent sushi from Chinese buffets as I have to comprise with my other half who doesn’t eat it. And I am blown away at how fresh and on point the sushi is here. I wasn’t expecting much - just getting a plate to go while in this side of town - near closing at that and the food was still amazing. Would take a photo but I already ate all the sushi! Thanks owners - your place is awesome, so will be back!
If I could give this place a 100 stars I would. First off as soon i walked in we were greeted by three smiling employees on the way to the table the place was spotless. There were so many options with the food.i even tried stuff I normally don’t eat just cause it looked so good. All the staff was so attentive and nice. I highly recommend this place
I just rolled out of Fujian Grand China Buffet at 8709 N I-35, and I swear I’m now part of the furniture in that place. I didn’t just eat — I feasted like a king who hadn’t seen food in a week. And let me tell you… it was GLORIOUS. The seafood? Absolutely divine. The fish was so tender and flavorful, it practically melted in my mouth. I kept thinking, “How did they make it this good?!” Every bite was a little miracle. Then came the salad — not just any salad, but a fresh, crisp masterpiece with juicy tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, and the surprise MVP: chickpeas! Who knew chickpeas could be this satisfying? And don’t get me started on the desserts — light, sweet, and somehow comforting, like a hug from your favorite grandma who also happens to be a five-star pastry chef. Honestly, I smiled with every bite. If they had a couch, I’d have stayed the night.
As a traveling salesman, I'm not usually a fan of going into a buffet. I'm glad I gave it a try. I found all the favorites that I wanted. The food was fresh and tasty. Very large place by the way. …
We went to another Chinese buffet a month ago, and this one is slightly better. This place doesn't have tons of Vegan options, yet it has enough for a filling meal. It seems like I get fuller faster at buffets than other restaurants. I wonder what is going on. Buffets tend to invoke ironies and I loved the irony of this buffet. We can call this White Rice Irony. At the last Chinese buffet I couldn't find plain white rice anywhere, yet at this buffet I did. The white rice was perfect. The white rice was the star of the meal. They cooked it at the perfect softness. The white rice was a perfect addition to the other stuff. Buffets have their pluses and minuses, yet overall I dig buffets like this one.
Their Gen. Tso's is the best I've had yet in Austin. Classic chinese buffet.
Nice, clean, and comfortable place for dinner. All food I got was great, many food and dessert options. Only minor issue is lack of attention to patrons. We were not checked on to see if we needed more drinks and such.
offers seafood, sushi, and seafood in various restaurants. It is an open buffet. Its price is $20 or less per person
I’m not sure why this buffet has so many bad reviews. I think people expect too much from a Chinese Buffet! I went despite all the negative reviews and it wasn’t that bad. I went for lunch and it was good. I’m giving this place four stars, however, because I think it’s a little pricey for what it is. For 14$ I expected more, especially when competing Buffets are around 10-12 bucks(lunch weekday price). Despite the prices, I thought it was good quality Chinese buffet. I would come back but only monthly since I’m on a budget. Inside was clean and service was fast!
Food is amazing the pizza is good the service is okay the waiters come every couple of minutes to take your empty plates

Decent buffet. My family and I enjoyed most of the items. I will say they don't put out food as soon as it runs out. You're wait time for something that has run out, is a good 10-15mins.
Wasn't all that expensive like other reviewers stated. Service was weird you wait in a line to pay then they sit you. The buffet was large but everything is over cooked and Luke warm. The flavors j…

Typical Chinese buffet. Stopped in for lunch nothing really stood out as wow knock your socks off at the same time I didn’t have anything that I didn’t like. Good variety can do with changing over the entrees more often as some of the food was noticeably old. But otherwise you get what you pay for.
I came into this with low expectations and they still fell short. I’d give it 2 stars if it wasn’t a buffet but you’re trading freshness for variety. I don’t expect greatness, but I do expect: Reasonably clean - Pass Food doesn’t taste expired - Pass Hot Food is reasonably hot - Spectacular Fail If the food was hot I’d probably give it 4 stars. No regrets, and I’m not scared for my health like I was at Buffet King, but I don’t plan to go back. I will say Mongolian was good and everyone was friendly. Dishes were bussed promptly.
Food here was a solid 6/10. Wish everything was labeled, don't recommend if you have food allergies. The Mongolian bbq had a decent selection, and chef cooked my food perfectly. Good dessert selection, alongside fresh fruit and jello. Cost was about 20pp for buffet & drink, easy to get your money's worth.
Decent food, very helpful and attentive staff.
The experience here has really gone down and I doubt we're going to return again. Food was on the bland side, way too many desserts vs. lunch food. Waitress kept throwing plates into a bus tub right behind where we were sitting, left emptied plates sitting on our table for far too long, some food on buffet was dried out and inedible, lots of empty trays, and building a/c either off or not working made for a very uncomfortable lunch experience and definitely not worth the price.
They always over cook their meats. The warmers seen to harden the food even the brown gravy was turning black.
Service was bad because when they sat us down to eat we put our ticket 🎟 on the table and went to get some food me and my husband only had 1 plate of food and went back for another one and they had sat someone in our table and they was not trying to set us at another table I told them either they give us back our table or set us somewhere else because we was not done eating and it supposed to be an all u can eat buffet. THIS WAS CRAZY TO ME!!!
Average variety...taste quality is 6/10. Pricey 38 for two people. ...could be better.
The food can be inconsistent due to the time of day and how long it has been on the buffet. I do enjoy their sushi and stuff myself with it. I see people eating a lot of their crawl fish. It is a good value for the money. It can be messy when large families are in. Hardly have wait as there are numerous tables.
Abundance of food, lots of flavor but not as fresh and tasty as it used to be. Some things are decent and some is not to my taste at all. The building itself is very interesting and it's kept pretty clean. I really want to sneak up the stairs and look around.
Between the 4 of us we had 25 plates of food and let me tell you the ribs were amazing. Will come back! But for real we will come back it was a large variety and everything for the most part was pretty tasty! Strongly recommended.

This place looked worn down as soon as you walked in by the front doors. I was shocked that it was $20 for a buffet but I was hungry and time was of the essence. The food was ok. Panda Express seems more fresh. The deserts were ok. The server was nice but sucks you have to tip prior to sitting down and they write your tip down on a sheet to give to the server. Kinda awkward. Tip should be added at the end based on the customer experience. Overall, ok food, high price, and ok experience.
I’m not usually picky honestly but they were not very good. Food is dried out almost everything I tried tastes old or reheated. Like you microwaved left overs twice. Not rude but not friendly staff. I would look over that but I’m leaving still hungry because everything from rice, to noodles to broccoli, I tried small portions of the different chicken and all was old. 7/11 serves better orange chicken. Not much chicken, basically a fried dough ball covered in cheap sauce. Only thing I liked was mushrooms. They should lower the variety and focus more on food quality. Maybe a friendlier staff as well.
I came here druing lunch on Friday. First impression of the entrance was that it seemed sheltered/closed off. Not very welcoming. Nevertheless, I came in expecting a nice buffet with friendly service. Wrong. I came in, no greeting. The woman at the front said "Water or Soda?". Went for the water. Okay. I found a table in the back corner and was sitting down my things. "Ticket?" I turn around to find a woman right next to me. "I'm sorry?" I said. "Ticket," she replied. I handed her my receipt and she walked off. Okay. Went to go get some food. Looked dry (was dry) looked barley warm (was barely warm). Not the best food but decent overall. 15 dollars for a buffet? Can't complain too much. I sat down to eat my food and noticed the host was greeting people with actual effort. Maybe I was mistaken. I continued eating and the host was very attentive to people who were moving back and forth between the buffet. Taking their plates, offering refils, asking how they're doing, etc. I got none of that hospitality. The only time my table was attended to is when I left. I don't want to jump to the conclusion that they may be discriminatory; but I was the only black person in the resturant, the only one without a refill, the only one not greeted, and the only one not checked up on. I could surly be wrong, but it's a feeling I've known for a while growing up in the south. Overall I don't think I would recommend this resturant. There's much better 6 minutes up the street. It's not suprising this place is mostly empty, during lunch, on a friday.
Beautiful place, inside. Staff was amazing. Just wished I could say the same for the food. 90% of it was cold, including the sauteed mushrooms. The lo mein was dry. The sushi was alright. We might have picked to late to come, but never would have imagined they would have cold food. Definitely NOT worth $40. And it was very warm inside. Again wished I could say the same for the food 🤷🏽♀️🙄
So stopped by for lunch and found a piece of plastic in my food that I almost swallowed. Very dangerous, I think, told the wait staff and the person at the front counter stated "I'm am so sorry, I talk to the kitchen staff so they can do a better job". A BETTER JOB?? I ask for a refund and the fought me tooth and nail, no pun intended, theyfinally gave me a 30% certificate for the next time I dine here. I think I'm 70% sure that I will not come back, and warn anybody that does eat here. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Why why why did I gamble and come here?? Well I wanted Chinese and I wanted different things, so I chose this buffet... That's my first mistake, I should have stuck with what I know.. I should have just stayed in North Austin and gone to a place that I normally go to.. but nooooooooo I wanted this and that so let's go to a buffet he said, it'll be fun he said... First off, I was shouted at just entering the door. "HOW MANY? WHAT DRINK? SODA? OR WATER!?" uhhhh 2, Dr pepper please? $31.13!!! Yeah sure, ok calm down. Then we were seated in a booth 2 feet from the entrance. I walked up to the first row of food, I see kids running around everywhere like it was a daycare, food looked oldish? Noodles were dry, wontons in the soup have been there so long the outside was hard!! How is this possible? They are in soup! Uuuhg I'll pass... Then there are the typical things, fried shrimp (this was about the only thing good because the oil was fresh, they were golden brown) sweet n sour chicken (old tasting) pepper shrimp, general tso chicken, fried rice, lo mein, chicken wings, pizza, fries, onion rings, Mac n cheese, egg rolls (which are cold) So, I guess I paid 32 bucks for two of us just to eat shrimp.. which ok I guess.
Service is great. Staff is friendly. Food isn't good. We went for late lunch (2pm) and everything was cold and tasted old. I thought maybe we came too late but that shouldn't be the customer's fault. Food should always be good. Only thing that was decent was the sushi and steak with broccoli.
The taste of the food was ok but I ate the chicken and my family I got food poisoning from the food sorry but I’m never going there again
Every dish that I tried was the most flavorless version I remember having from similar buffets. For example, every sushi featured imitation crab and lots of mayonnaise sauce. Everything fried seemed like yesterday's reheats which I wouldn't even be mad at if it was 11 AM but not still at 4 PM. Every lettuce or spinach on the salad bar was bruised/wilted. Broccoli dishes were cooked to mush. It left enough impression on me to write this when Google prompted it. The staff was just.. listless. I felt bad. Something about the whole vibe was off. Folks might just be stressed out because ICE sucks especially bad right now. I couldn't leave a tip because I don't carry cash and it was pre-pay; sad face emoji. Maybe it is pre-pay so they don't have walk-outs because of the food?
Too many noisy kids. The food is not changed often enough. Everything was dry and stail the past 2 times out of 4. They don't pay attention to the food on the buffet. You have to ask for fresh cooked.
Was disappointed honestly, not a great buffet. choices were limited and didn't feel really clean.
Service and atmosphere about what you would expect from a Chinese buffet. The food was lacking. Luke warm at best and many dishes empty or non existent. For the same price you would get at any Chinese buffet. Would not go back and cannot recommend unfortunately 😞.
Close down .Get a better chef .the food sucked. And the choices were very limited. And the places ambiance was very very old.

Dried food, old meat, horrible hygiene in restroom. Was not busy but still not a good experience. Definitely not worth it.
This was a horrific experience. Food was poorly prepared and most was clearly put out for too long. Unsanitary and inattentive staff.
Food sucked and was super cold and the place inside is dirty and unsanitary. service was mid.
Food suckkssssssss. Food obviously been just sitting up there. This place honestly needs to get shut down. It's 16 dollars for some bull crap. The crawfish tastes like mud water. And the make your …
Bad service, bad food, bad everthing the only thing good here is the ice cream i hope they lose all their money and employees and ambiente is kinda cool so this is why the one star.
One of the worst experiences when it comes to a buffet. Food was bland, cold and without flavor. Nothing felt freshly made, service was poor. drinks tasted more like water than the actual soda.…
I used to like this place ..before covid hit .... I went back this year and was so disappointed...the food was not prepared the same delicious ways ..... it wasn't fresh .or tasteful as usual....Flys were swarming and landing on food laying eggs ...... I wanted my money back because we only sat for less than 10 minutes. Spitting out everything we tried...Nasty nasty nasty ....and it smelled horrible ....something was wrong the last time sorry ...
After seeing the reviews, my husband and I decided to err on the side of caution and ask to look at the buffet before sitting. This establishment requires you to pay before dining. Are we glad we asked to look first. Mind you, it was dinner time & there were people dining, so you would think the food would be fresh. Nope. Dried crusted food to the edges of the pan. Empty or almost empty pans. It was so apparent that nothing had been swapped out or added in quite some time. Soups were half empty. Most of their chicken dishes looked like chicken nuggets with different sauces. They just opened after being closed for a while. Why did they bother?
Staff where completely rude! I also found 3 hairs in my plate & a small bug on one of my jelly dessert. Staff tried to hide the fact that we were showing it to them & we never got a refund.
First and last time trying this place. It looked closer on the outside due to boarded up doors and windows. The food was not hot. It was barely warm. Not one thing I tasted tasted good, and one piece of chicken wasn't fully cooked, I left still hungry.
The food was not labeled. And the taste was very bad. Chicken drumsticks was so smelly. The waiter was staring at us because we didn’t tip. I strongly suggest not to go..
No comment just worst food ever eaten
Horrible Customer service!!!! The waitress forced me to tip her even for her bad customer service $$ i was still having my dinner then she came and told me to put tip and sign the receipt for her 🤦♂️ the food looks not fresh and there are not Labeling theirs plates so you can’t tell what you are eating 🤷♂️ just bad bad bad !
Worst Chinese buffet ever! And we have been to quite a few. Food was absolutely horrendous. The sushi chef was sitting behind the counter eating the entire time and had no sushi up on the counter. Wouldn't even make any upon request. The chicken on a stick was dry and tasted like rat on a stick. Cottage cheese spoiled. I got food from the hibachi and it smelled like dirty foot something was definitely spoiled or they used dirty rags. Bathrooms were backed up, couldn't even flush the toilet. All the food was either dry or smelled rotten. So terrible.
Smells like butt in here. My dearest friend, is now in the ICU because he had EXTREME food poisoning. He has to get his small intestine removed and replaced. I now have mono and strep throat from the dry eggrolls and the watery fish. Please fix this, I am very ill. DO NOT GO HERE.!!!!!!
Serve snatched money out of hand while trying to go get change.. Took unfinished plates of food to rush us out. No refill. Over all a really unpleasant buffet experience was really exited to eat there but we were not happy with our experience. If you like to be rushed out this is the place for you.
I came in with my wife my daughter which is 11 and my youngest daughter which is 7 and my baby and we were charged $78 up front as soon as I walk in the door didn't even get a chance to get a table yet or anything other than telling them what I wanted to drink. Then once we go sit down to eat our food the main reason I wanted to come here is because I wanted to try the hibachi grill which is called a little something a little different here but same idea and I tell you what the food took forever to come out and when it finally did it was completely burned I mean way overcooked the worst experience I've ever had so I decided to not eat the rest of my food went to go get a regular plate of the buffet and literally everything was at almost room temperature not even exaggerating so disappointed it's not even funny I will never visit this place over again and I didn't understand it because there was a lot of other customers there that were just eating away at their food and joining it like as if it wasn't a thing and I don't know if that's the normal quality of food around here or something and people are used to it but so disappointed! Way overcharged for damn near room temperature food and then on top of that the waitress was standing next to us the whole time making us feel uncomfortable and wouldn't give us a refill for a drink unless we ask for it and then seem to disappointed whenever we weren't offering up a tip at the end of our meal?!? After being overcharged and served overcooked and under temp food and having to be asking for refills repetitively?? Do not recommend for anybody that is new coming like us! (UPDATE) OH MY GOSH OOK AT THERE APOLOGIES!?!?!? TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THEY APOLOGIZE TO ME AND CANT EVEN GET MY NAME RIGHT???? WOW!!!!!!! THEY SAID SORRY "ELIZABETH"!?!?!?!?!? 😲
The servers were nice, but it took about 10 minutes for anyone to come to the front to seat us. The restaurant has a nice but the food was bad. Not flavor full, very limited variety with 2 full buffet areas taken up by jello and pre-made desserts. And you could tell everything had been sitting out for multiple hours by how dried out everything was.
Horrible place cost me $42 for me and my fiance and food was disgusting, cold, dried up and old and staff was Horrible pressuring me to tip and wouldn't go the hell away when i tried to sign my recipe when they gave me it and not even after I went back to my hotel but right when I walked out of the restaurant me and my fiance felt sick and I ended up throwing up about 6 times outside the restaurant and more when I finally got back to my hotel huge waste of my money and time way too expensive for food barely worth even $10 such a disappointment in this restaurant everything's old and cold staff are very rude and pushy never ever eating here again not even in another life! Health inspectors needed immediately here!
I recently visited Fujian Grand China Buffet and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The outside of the restaurant looked scary, with run-down doors that made me second-guess even going inside. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t improve once I entered. The food quality was poor— many dishes tasted stale, as if they had been sitting out for a long time. The variety was also lacking, and several buffet trays were either empty or barely replenished. The cleanliness of the restaurant was concerning too, with dirty tables and sticky floors. I had higher expectations but, unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.
If you want to overpay for a Chinese buffet that will give you food poisoning, have I got the place for you!! This place comes equipped with disgruntled waitresses busy on their phones, microwaved food that smells "funny", cooks that look liked they just got done playing in the dirt, and mac and cheese that tastes like water. How you ruin cheese and make it taste like water, is beyond me... And if you need the restroom, just use the kitchen! Because I got a peak in there and let me tell ya, I didnt even want to see the restroom. It's not so much a buffet as a hunt for what wont make you sick. Surprise! It all will! I had to leave half way through, because I felt like I just ate a week old burger I forgot under my dogs mat. I couldn't even make it to dessert. If that's what they call it... And the smell outside? Let's just say it smelt like a grease trap that hasn't been cleaned. Ever! But dont worry, they collect your money and a tip as soon as you walk in. I'm going to go home and puke now... Enjoy the pictures! 😃🤢🤮🤒
Absolute worst Chinese buffet experience we've ever had. All the food out was old, dried out, cold, or SWIMMING in so much runny sauce it made it soggy. So many selections, and all of them a disappointment. The only thing that seemed to be stocked was the crawfish, but NOBODY touched those while we were there. Maybe they knew better than we did? Sweet tea was good! The lady clearing tables was efficient and almost friendly. Floors were filthy and wet. Yes it was raining, but the rain didn't make it 30feet to the food bar in the back of the restaurant. Restrooms seemed clean.
My husband and I walked in to eat lunch at 12:45 we thought it was perfect time for lunch. The price of the food was not worth it. When we got to the buffet there was leftover food, they were mixing with some "fresh" food. Nothing was fresh at all. Not sure if the chicken was even chicken. Everything tasted the same, gross!!! We went here years ago and it was not like this. When we walked in, the temp on the wall was 75° but it was disgusting and like 80°. My husband and I have been throwing up and having diarrhea since we left there. On top of that the waitress we had gave us a dirty look because we didnt have cash to tip. Honestly, wow. I want my money back. Unacceptable!!!
Food was cold very expensive $20 per play with a drink and if you want a refill, you have to pay for it seafood with salty and the Chinese people their treat you like you’re a joke because you tell him why is it so cold don’t waste your time in this spot here find somewhere better for your money
Food is horrible don't waste your time they are serving spoiled 3 day old food. Don't waste your money here. they charge you first because they know the food is horrible not mentioning we even told the lady that the food is no good they didnt even try to fix it. We didn't even get past the first bite read the bad views and believe them . 28 bucks wasted food poisoning avoided. DISGUSTED
Went there on a Sunday afternoon.. busy? But should have known when you prepay to watch out. Food was plentiful but sat out.. not really good. For $22 with a drink would have thought a bigger selection of sushi.. which was actually good. Didn’t finish what I had so tried the Mongolian grill which was actually pretty good. I sat for over 5min. With an empty drink and nobody checking on me.. so went to the server station and asked for a refill. That itself was why I don’t like prepaid.. service wasn’t good maybe due to the crowd but still…
Server CHASED us to our car for tip!!!!!!! We apparently left a tip which our server wasn’t satisfied with and CHASED to our car to confront us!!!! We barely got served I had to look for our server because she was always gone didn’t come check on us!! Do you know your servers are harassing customers about tips??? How is it allowed to have servers chase you out??? I’ll never go back there again!!! 0 stars
Food was cold, old, smelled weird, and made my stomach hurt. Took a little while for the cashier to come help us just to pay for our food before we ate. Some things were okay, but I would take caution before you eat there.
Worst seafood ever had. Salty salty. Not recommended
This place sucks! Not one entree was fresh, the cheesecake was warm, the fried food and jalapeno poppers were rubbery. Overall bad experience. Even the banana pudding was warm there was no time or date on any of the food, no labels at all. My bf actually threw up at the front counter because he immediately got sick. Do not go here, we spent 71.00 dollars for 2 adults and 2 kids... No remorse from management at all!
Nice building. Furniture old, torn, and uncomfortable. Pay before you eat. TIP EXPECTED before you sit or eat. Don't tip at the register and receive nasty looks from the staff. Even if you plan to tip at table. Never received drink refill. Waitress seemed to as void table. Family dinner, used plates piling up high in table. Sushi was good. Rest of food was average with several items soggy and undercooked. Really, a soggy eggroll... restroom was biohazard area, large portion of floor covered in urine. No ...last cleaned... time or by in the restroom. I guessing it gets cleaned only after closing time. Oh. and a broken car on blocks with missing wheel in parking lot. Parking lot also covered with trash debris. This business has 0 pride. Avoid!
$57.00 3 people including drinks. Food was not that great but then again it's buffet food. Service was great!! The boiled crawfish were horrible. No seasoning what so ever!!
Terrible service waitress didnt clear plates or refilled drinks. Most of the buffet trays were empty, the food was cold, sushi tasted bad, pastries were stale, and even the ice cream buckets were empty. Save your money and time over all a very disappointing experience. I still tipped and didn’t even get a thank you. Horrible. Left asap. Not kid friendly either.
Placed order online, when I went the order didn’t even place apparently so she had to call the kitchen to place the order so I left and came back to get my order. I went back and got my order (pepperd steak & onions with pork fried rice) Oh my god was that the worst meal I’ve had in 26 years on this planet. The “steak” was either all just fat or wasn’t even steak it was like rubber and “gum-y” absolutely no flavor in the fried rice, but was the most edible portion of the meal. And the vegetables were essentially RAW. Save yourself, do not eat here. I have never in my life wondered if I could get a refund whilst eating my food. But I guess I’ll take my $11 loss and go hungry today as I barely made it through 1/6th of my meal (wouldn’t even go as far as saying I ate a quarter of it) Best part was the fortune cookie.
Food was not good at all and had no flavor. Fried rice was okay out of majority of everything. Restroom was dirty and honestly didn’t even want to stay too long.
Great food but the waitress was completely rude, negative and disrespectful. I greeted her with kindness. She spoke to me in Spanish for some reason even though she's obviously Asian. I'm American so what's up with that? We were there with an old friend for a reunion. She rudley mopped under our friend's chair while he was seated. Hitting his chair with the mop. It ruined the entire vibe of the evening. Our friend was only in town for a short time. We had to drive him back to his hotel immediately afterwards. She spoiled our last moments with him in town. He doesn't live in Austin so it might be another few years until we see him again.
SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!! First of all they make you pay before you can sit, thats already a bad sign. The food was cold and taste plain. I complained before I even started to eat and asked for a refund so I can eat somewhere else and they told me they dont do refunds. So I ended up eating and before I could even finish the 1st plate I was already in the bathroom, speaking of the nasty, dirty broken bathrooms- the toilet seats were broken, trash everywhere and for some reason the 2 of the 3 stalls were locked probably from being broken.
Found a rouch wing in our cup of water and the refused to refund us absolutely diabolical Yes he tried to show it to me it was not food and yeah it was in the the whole time I didn't notice it until half way through eating as it was my daughter's cup so it wasn't in front of me she wasn't drinking it and I asked why and she showed me
They say every great adventure starts with a bold step. Mine started with a tug on a door missing its handle. That should’ve been the sign to turn back. But no, like a moth to a crusty, heat-lamped flame, I pressed on. Inside, the ambiance was what I'd call “Grand re-re-re-re-opening” You had to pay before sitting, which in hindsight was genius. Because once you saw the buffet, the instinct to walk out became overwhelming. Prepayment was less a business model and more a hostage negotiation tactic. I grabbed a plate, coated in complimentary slime, and approached the trough of despair. Every dish had the same flavor: expired sadness with a hint of despair. The unlabeled mystery meat was cold and questionable, some of the sauces started to crust and form a protective layer, and I swear the crab ragoons where 90% regret, 10% imitation crab goo. One bite and my taste buds tried to unionize. After trying one bite of each offering like a sad little tasting menu from hell, I gave up and sat back... defeated. I gazed into the abyss. The abyss served me cold lo mein. Thankfully the pre-packaged fortune cookie were pretty fire. 1 out of 5 stars. Gained no nourishment. Only trauma.
This was my birthday treat, so disappointed food was old complained to management 75.00 for 2 adults 2kids ridiculous don't know what happened to this place it use to be good. they only replaced what l asked for fresh .
Found a roach in my food and the cashier was not friendly border line nasty. She refused at first to give me a refund and we had literally just arrived, washed our hands, and hadn't even touched the drinks. Nothing on the buffet was labeled. It was bad experience all together. This would have been a little more discrete had the cashier not been so rude even from the start as if Im not spending my money.
We walk in the door paid 50 bucks. Told where to sit and got moved twice. She didn't even take our drink order. Uber was way cheaper and at least you got better service
I’m a contractor. I brought my crew in here to eat. It’s 2:30 in the afternoon. They had very small selection. Everything was cold water down, egg drop sup. The calamari was extremely salty again. Everything was really cold. Waitresses will not bring you drinks unless you pay for refills and just so you know it’s $ 1799+ tax to eat there please guys find another place. Don’t waste your body here. When you tell the waitresses that the food is cold if they have more coming, they just laugh in your face and turn around. Don’t waste your money here. Aspen $70 for three people. And none of us were happy very bad service
For this price. The food should have been a lot more flavorful. Items tasted as if it sitting out all day. Why was there Italian pasta in there? Most of the food tasted from a bag from a setting in a fridge for weeks. Wasted my $$$
Food was cold. Waitress never came by for refills or remove plate. Atmosphere was dead. Pure silence. Workers had no energy. Felt like they was bored or held hostage to work. I wouldn't recommend.
Beware of this place. I came here today with my family, and to our surprise, this woman who was our waitress turned dinner into a nightmare. She interrupted our family time to tell us that sodas weren't included. When I got up to pay for them, she insisted there were more people than the bill stated, which wasn't true. I asked to speak to the manager, and we had to wait over 15 minutes. The cashier had to bring us our drinks because the waitress wouldn't, and I had to get up to ask for utensils and straws. This woman kept staring at us while we ate. It was so stressful that several of us decided to leave without eating. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
16$+Tax dinner Buffet. Cleanliness was ok but waiter wanted to seat us in a dirty booth, which i called out&declined, he seemed confused why I wouldn’t want to sit on a wet&food smeared table/seats. Awkward. Arrived 1.5hr before closing&a lot of dishes were not restocked&unavailable. Family tried different dishes but overall the meats were all dry, salmon I was not able to eat cause it was pure salt. Ribs I had were like wood chips on the outside crust (too hard). The veggies&salads were really good&the mushrooms were tasty. Deserts looked good. Mostly Puff Pastries but they were also not good. I tried one piece of each, we shared them on a plate as a family. Pastries were old&dry and not edible. So hard it wasn’t pleasant even to bite into it for that one bite. They had little creamy sheet cake cubes in chocolate, red berry and a yellow one, not sure the flavor, something fruity. The chocolate one was edible. Since you are provided with a spoon&fork only&asked for another fork&received the flimsiest plastic fork to eat those. Only extra plates are available at the stations. But anyways. Best parts The veggies/salads and The staff was friendly. Cant recommend.
Wow. Where do I begin with this awful disgusting place. I don't know how the health dept. Hasn't shut this place down. I was absolutely starving when I arrived and still managed to leave hungry. Imagine that at a buffet. Do yourself a favor and skip this spot. Food is cold and way over priced for what you get. You deserve better than this. Look at these photos.
