Excellent service. Food was savory, authentic, fresh. Pretty decent portions. Egg drop soup and hot and sour soup were rich and umami. The establishment itself was clean, the ambiance warm and inviting. Not only was our server fast and attentive, two other managers or maybe the owner(?) also checked on us. Definitely gonna come back again and try other items on the menu! Oh also! Extremely affordable. We ordered an appetizer and 3 lunch specials. Total came out to $37. Even with food inflation, it was impressive to say the least how affordable it was.

Cooked to perfection! I got a Happy Family and Chicken and Broccoli. Both dishes were delicious. The sauce was tasty on both dishes. They also gave me a lot rice, they didn’t hold back. I grew up in my grandfather’s Chinese restaurant and I also worked at 3 different P.F. Chang’s. So I’m a super tuff critic when it come to Chinese food. Hunan Lion gets 5 stars from me tonight for getting it right and making me one delicious dinner.

Such a warm and cozy place; staff are wonderfully kind. Food isn't great, but the vibes are!

Food was good but the rice lacked some flavor. I loved the cream stuffed puffs, crispy and delicious. We ordered takeout and did have to remind them to add plastic ware as we were staying in a hotel. Other than that they place everything in the bag. Sauces were delicious (lemon chicken and sweet and sour pork). Egg rolls were delicious. The egg rolls were wrapped in small baggies. My only gripe is the food lost most of its crispiness because there was no ventilation in the to-go containers. I had a 15 minute drive from the restaurant.

Got some delivery from Hunan Lion. Everything was tasty...both soups were well-seasoned and had on-point flavors, the chicken wings were good(but probably even better if eaten via dine-in) and the beef/chicken egg rolls were awesome. Out of many places I have tried, Hunan Lion is the most consistent/good.

Man if you told me you could make a dish that tasted like absolutely nothing I would say prove it. This place proved it and would win first place in making the blandest food! After gambling for 24 hours straight we came to Hunan lion looking for some chinese delights. Appetizer was solid and the mains tasted like water. be better come on guys. I liked the ut polo the owner was rocking. wouldn’t come back

Severely disappointed, have had before and really liked but this time, my kung pao chicken was cooked but the sauce tasted like raw chicken and fried rice was burnt, egg rolls I added to order were drenched in oil. Lemon chicken looked like chicken strips cut into pieces with a sauce on side. I had to throw our lunch in trash. Live too far to return, wont ever order again. Severely disappointed.

Ordered Uber Eats delivery. Over an hour wait which is ok considering location. Ordered vegetable steamed spring roll. Recieved cold rice paper spring roll. Ordered crab rangoon. Recieved fried triangles with just cream cheese, no crab or anything else. When I called to inform them, first gentleman started arguing and said I got what I ordered, then transferred me to a different person, a female, who also argued with me that I received what I ordered. Which I did not. Will never order from this restaurant again.

All the food had absolutely zero taste to it. Half of the items seemed like they were cooked hours before and just sat under a heat lamp. Crab rangoons were burnt and had nothing hardly in them much less any crab. I’m not much for giving out one star reviews but this is in contention for the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.

Was craving crab Rangoons and these have no crab, seasoning, chives, and all it has is cream cheese in it. Went back to the restaurant to complain/ask for refund and the lady told me “for $6 why would you expect it to have crab in it” and I said “because it’s called crab puff on the menu and nowhere does it say that there’s no crab inside” also mentioned that so many other local spots have crab Rangoons with imitation crab for $6. She was so rude to me and didn’t offer anything for my frustration and refused a refund.

First and last time I’ll ever eat here. I made an online order and specifically stated “peanut allergy”. After eating the spicy meat dumplings, my throat got itchy but I thought maybe it was the spice. I could only manage a few bites of my entree before I had to throw up. I’m not sure if there was a cross contamination or what but am very disappointed. Food wasn’t even good enough to have an allergic reaction for.

I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN! I ordered 4 spring rolls as delivery. There is no photo on their online menu. They are not traditional spring rolls at all. Instead I received lettuce wrapped around noodles which is disgusting. The sauce is also disgusting. When I called, they said they call the traditional spring rolls veggie egg rolls and did not offer any refund.
