We can’t get enough of this place! They offer daily specials—not just at lunch—and there are drink specials every day too. The photo on the left shows the Friday Special, which includes one enchilada, beef fajitas a la Mexicana, rice, and charro beans. The photo on the right shows the Sunday Special: a small bowl of menudo and two barbacoa tacos. Prices are reasonable, the food comes out quickly, and the staff are efficient and friendly. Highly recommend!

We have been here so many times and it has consistently been a treasured jewel in our go-to places for authentic, handmade TexMex. I always say going to family run restaurants is like going to a friends mother's kitchen. It may not taste exactly like the chain restaurants, but it's that difference that makes the difference. Margaritas are delicious and strong without the chemical flavoring of some places. Their beef fajita nachos are the best in town (you can fight me on that. lol). Shrimp chipotle enchiladas are perfect every time (the shrimp has never ever been overcooked). Also, the chicken chipotle enchiladas are exceptional. My sister told me last time to never let her order anything else but the chili relleno anytime we take her there. She loved it so much. Fajitas are sizzling and flavorful and they give you a lot! Salsa is fresh and hot and good. I think the queso is very good, but that's the only thing that I think is too expensive, (lol, go figure) so we don't order it that often. That being said, they don't "nickel and dime" you to death if you want a little extra sauce, or some extra jelapeno's etc., they just bring it. If you like extra spicy salsa, ask them for the green sauce. It's really good. If you want fresh from a family run restaurant, you can't lose with this place. It's a real gem!

Their barbacoa mini street tacos are my go to order. Consistently delicious and the small side of beans on the side is what puts these above other tacos in the area in my opinion. A perfect meal.

Food is excellent, much better than Chuy's I think. I loved my vegetarian enchiladas. My only complaint is that the horchata had too much cinnamon for me. I won't order that again when I come back, and frequently!

The restaurant was clean and the waitress very kind. The food I ordered was freshly made and the best tacos I've had. They were filled and delicious. The flavor was like food made at home by our moms. I definitely will go again.

I LOVE this place! I went there expecting very little to be honest, but oh boy! Those are the best tacos I’ve ever tried in Austin 🤭🤭 everything was soooo delicious!! The girls who serve are cuties too, everyone is so nice and warm. I loved it there!

I like to support local restaurants. I have been coming here for a couple years. I have tried the enchiladas and they were not good. I have tried the beef fajitas and they were not good either. The breakfast tacos are good if you eat it there. I went there after 11:00 am and that is the first picture you see. The second pic I ate there and it was so much better! The third picture is my receipt shows I put no tip (I always tip cash). When I checked my credit card statement one of the waitress added a $2 tip. Make sure you take a picture of your receipts and check your credit card statements!

I'm from Houston, and I need to go back because what was that. If Austin's goal is to stay weird, they're achieving it with what I just ate. If the hospital served Mexican food, that's what it would taste like. If you want to get diabetes, stop off here because everything is dipped in sugar. Their enchilada sauce, beans, and fajita. My taste buds are offended. Waitress was great though.
