Amazing service, delicious food, and you would want to come back again and again. Don't get disappointed with the sitting arrangements. It's adds more vibe when you sit outside and enjoy it.
It was a plesant surprise,to find this inside a convenience store, My family enjoyed the great authentic Punjabi food and the staff and the chef were very welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this place if you want to have authentic Punjabi food. This will be my goto place, will be back. Thank you team for your hospitality.
Absolutely delicious, very friendly service and extremely good authentic Indian cuisine at a very reasonable price. The menu has a good variety of curries, appetizers and street food, I highly recommend, two big thumbs up 👍 👍
Panjabi Swag in Austin is a true gem for Indian cuisine lovers! The flavors are rich, authentic, and bring back nostalgic memories of home-cooked meals. Every dish bursts with freshness and warmth, and the spices are perfectly balanced. Friendly service and cozy ambiance make the experience even better. A must-visit for anyone craving real Indian flavors!
The food was amazing! Served hot and fresh - excellent spice level, authentic taste, and great depth of flavor. Good portion size for what you pay. We even got a free sweet treat, which is hard to beat :) we will definitely be back. Swag onward.
Panjabi Swag in Austin—WOW! Incredible Indian food, so quick, so convenient. REAL authentic flavor (not the fake stuff other places serve). Service is AMAZING, the best you’ll find. Everyone is talking about it! Other restaurants should be ashamed—NO COMPETITION! Panjabi Swag is a WINNER!!! 🇺🇸🍛🔥
We had a catering for our Diwali event, and everyone was so happy to have such a tasty food. Timley delivery and ample quantities made the day !! Thank you.
So good! They were SUPER nice, gave lots of recommendations. He gave us free drinks and a student discount! Super friendly, will be going back!
Good chicken curry. Very solid price. Mango Lassi was very nice as well
Delicious and authentic indian food! Tucked away in a convenience store with some outdoor seating. My favorite spot for indian carry out.
My fiancé ordered from here and got me the Chicken Tikka Masala. I was genuinely surprised by how generous the portion was, I was able to serve a bowl to my twin daughters and still had plenty left to fill me up! It also came with a side of white rice. I was honestly a little upset that my fiancé hadn’t introduced me to this place sooner, haha. The food is definitely top tier. We’ll be placing a catering order for Thanksgiving and will definitely be posting another review with pictures!
I’m a lover of indian food and have tried many restaurants. This place is another delicious indian option in Austin. We went simple with the chicken tikka masala and it was delicious. The service was great, free drinks, student discount, and help navigating the menu. Will definitely return!
this was our first time here and we didn’t know they closed at 2pm and we showed up at around 2:15 and when we were told they were closed, we sat outside to google other nearby places but the owner saw us and insisted on taking our orders and we couldn’t be more grateful for the delicious meals they cooked up for us. everything was warm and wonderful and the owner gave us free drinks and take out containers; he was incredibly thoughtful and kind and generous with his time and talents. i am so thrilled to have found such a delicious place nearby with service unmatched.
So far, I've tried the saag chicken, kadai chicken, daal makhani, chicken 65, aloo gobi, gobi manchurian, and rajma masala (and mango lassi)...and all were great. I personally love saag dishes in general but I thought their gobi manchurian and kadai chicken were especially great here, so I would definitely recommend trying those as well. The portions for the price are also good, and the person at the register is very nice!
Recently found this place and it’s on my regular rotation. The food is great and the owners are very nice. It’s in a convenience store that has a solid selection of wine, drinks, etc. Still working through all of the menu, but everything I’ve gotten so far has been excellent.
I had a fantastic experience at Punjabi Swag. I ordered the Amritsari Kulcha and a curry. It was excellent: crispy, flavorful, and perfectly made. The imli chutney and pickle served on the side were great. Service was fast, the taste was authentic, and our server was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Punjabi flavors!
Perfect little hole in the wall. The food was VERY good and the owner was incredibly nice!! We got a Nan with yellow raisins and nuts. SOO GOOD!! There is outdoor seating which was perfect to enjoy the meal. Must try if you’re in the area!!
The food here is so good!! The garlic naan especially was amazing. Easy to miss because it’s in a little market, but so worth trying if you live close by. Super convenient, authentic, big portions, relatively cheap and quick. I’m so glad I gave this place a try, I will be back many times!
This place totally hit the mark. We got Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Coconut Curry, garlic naan, onion kulcha, and some veggie samosas. All delicious. My new go-to Indian spot in Austin.
We had ordered food for 250 people in North Austin. Inspite of a large order the food was delivered in time. The quantity was amazing … we had so much leftovers. Every guest gave a raving feedback of the food. Many of them were Americans and having Indian food for the 1st time. Best place to get North Indian taste in Austin, which is so rare. Highly recommended if you are hosting a party and want to add an Indian touch to it.
Good experience. They are fast. I don't know my left from my right when it comes to indian food, but I keep enjoying it and going back. Never a line. Tiny little spot. Easy access. Good experiences!
Everything that we tried from Panjabi Swag was perfectly seasoned, fresh, and satisfying. he portion sizes are large and every dish was filling. The owner is an incredibly generous and kind man, so please go out and support his restaurant!
Food was warm still when I got home! Love the portion sizes, especially the two containers of rice. Everything was flavorful and spiced to my liking. Definitely will be back!
Super tasty and authentic food (coming from an Indian) and not spicy at all. Highly recommend aloo chaat, butter chicken, and dhal makhani. Order inside the store and eat outside. Will be back to support this small business!
Great food and they offer a really sweet student discount. The service is very good and the food does not disappoint. Can’t want to continue trying the different dishes this place has to offer!
The staff was very friendly and attentive and the wait was fairly short. The restaurant provides outdoor shaded seating, perfect for parties of 5-6. The food was surprisingly amazing! I had butter chicken, samosas, and their spinach cheese spinach naan and wow the portions were generous and nothing short of delicious. The owner even came by as I was eating to check if everything was good and to ask for feedback. I will definitely be coming back!
Can't recommend enough - great place to get some fresh, flavorful North Indian food. The dhal makhni was out of this world. Food was cooked to order and the wait was worth it. Will absolutely keep going back to this place! The service was top notch.
My new favorite lunch spot in this area! It's hidden away inside a convenience store (with a door that's ridiculously hard to open). Would never expect to look there, but glad I did. Delicious food with tons of options (vegetarian and non), reasonable prices, and excellent service from the owners. Only (minor) issues were: - plate and packaging were too thin, but the owner said he'd change those up - not a lot of outdoor seating with umbrellas, making it hard to sit there If you work nearby or go to the WeWork, would highly recommend this place.
The staff were so incredibly kind and thoughtful, they were fast and efficient and still felt homely. The food was absolutely amazing, warm and comforting, spicy but not overwhelming, I will definitely be going here again! The food didn't even last long enough to take a picture of.
One of the best experience of Pakistani food I had in my whole lifetime !!!! The owner really treated me like family and I can say that it was an amazing experience!! May god bless him and the people that work here thank you so much 😊!!!
Indian dishes inside a mini grocery store. Designed for take out, but tables available outside. We had Biryani and Butter Chicken
Takeout - Second time Kadai Paneer (with rice), peshwari naan, Gobi paratha. Peshwari naan was bland, could be better. Kadai Paneer and handmade parathas tastes yum.. Takeout - First time Kadai Paneer, Tandoori Aloo paratha and Tawa Gobi paratha. It came with rice and curd. Delicious food, packed well. Parathas are hand made, buttery and spice level was configurable. Paneer gravy was so flavorful, with soft pieces, definitely sufficient for 2 parathas. One suggestion would be to reduce the oil though it enhances the taste 😉 The restaurant is inside the store, probably a name board outside the building would navigate better.

This was so soo good. At first I thought we were in the wrong place because it’s inside of a little store, but the owner was so nice! He offered a sample to make sure the spice level was right and it was so good! Highly recommend! Plus portions are a good size so you get your moneys worth!
I truly appreciate the quality of this hidden gem! It’s so great to have a south asian/desi option in the neighborhood. The quality is fantastic! I’ve tried the chai, aloo paratha & biryani - they were all incredible! I highly recommend it.
Delicious food and great people!! It is located inside a convenience store but has great seating outside.Chole Bhature were authentic Punjabi! :) Indian Mojito drink is a must have, and the Indian aloo-tikki burgers were amazing! Couldn’t say much nicer things about the staff- they were very friendly and attentive:) will definitely come again!
The food is so flavorful and delicious. Everything is cooked perfectly. I always get their chicken biryani, and it’s not like other places I’ve been to. The people are also so down to earth and so kind. I highly recommend trying this place out.
Fantastic Food & Service from Punjabi Swag Restaurant! We recently ordered catering from Punjabi Swag Restaurant for a party , and it was truly a great experience from start to finish. The food arrived on time, hot, and fresh. The quantity was extremely generous.Every dish was a hit and you could really taste the authenticity and quality in every bite. Pricing was very reasonable for the quality and quantity. It truly added to the success of the event.
Had amazing Chhole Bhature and Dal makhni along with a mix parantha. These are our all time favorite dishes to pick and this small but amazing place didn’t disappoint. The portion size was quite generous against most desi places in Austin, we loved the friendliness of the staff and the owner. Will definitely recommend and would come back to try other dishes :)
While I was at Pizza Di Roma next door I found this place. It is tucked away inside a corner store. This place offers lots of vegetarian options and the food is so delicious not the mention the staff is very patient and so nice. I’ve also ordered on Uber Eats and the delivery person told me how nice the staff was as well :). I highly recommended this place. It’s unassuming but the food is packed with flavor.
Absolutely Amazing Catering Experience! I ordered food from Punjabi Swag Restaurant for my housewarming function, catering to over 90 people — and I must say, they truly exceeded my expectations! The quantity was more than sufficient, easily enough for an extra 20 people. The food was delivered hot and exactly on time, which is so important for any event. Every dish we ordered — Butter Paneer, Dal Makhni, Garlic Naan, Paneer Veg Biryani, and Mix Veg — was absolutely delicious. The taste was authentic and rich, and my guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food. What impressed me even more was the cost-effectiveness — I genuinely don't think anyone can beat their prices for the quality and quantity they provide. Punjabi Swag truly made my day special, and I’m incredibly grateful for their service. I highly recommend this restaurant for any of your upcoming functions or events. You won't be disappointed!
Punjabi Swag was absolutely amazing! First off, the service was phenomenal — the person who took my order was one of the friendliest order takers I've met. They made me feel genuinely welcome right from the start. Secondly, the food somehow managed to be even better than the service. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was incredible same with the garlic nan.
We tried several dishes today — Paneer Saag, Salt lassi,Rotis, kadhi pakoda, Chana masala and Paneer Tikka wraps — and every single one was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, just like you’d expect from a traditional Punjabi kitchen. What really stood out was their hospitality — the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about ensuring we had a great experience. They checked in often, served with a smile, and made us feel completely at home. Highly recommend this place for North Indian food and top-notch service.

Its a eating joint inside a grocery store. More suitable for takeouts, but has decent space outside to sit. In middle of a college / student place so overall ambience is vibrant. Punjabi owned place. Tried chola bhatura and paratha & both were tasty, and had flavor. Would love to come back again.

I'm Punjabi and know Punjabi food - this was far too spicy, the chicken was burnt, and it was overpriced. If you're going to charge Clay Pit prices then be high quality. It was so spicy I could barely tolerate it, my daughter spat it out, and the chicken was burnt and almost inedible. Would not recommend.
