Best Vietnamese food in the area. Bun Tom Xao (vermicelli w lemongrass shrimp) was exactly like I had in Vietnam. Healthy rough chopped lemongrass and fish sauce is great- not too sweet or fishy. Will be exploring the menu in future.
Good place. I got the chicken shrimp and beef bowl. I would get again. The prices are very competitive with many options in the $10-$15 range Service was super fast. Update: been back a few more times and am always impressed with the speed and quality of food.
This place is my go-to pho place in North Austin. I've taken a lot of people here and no one has had a bad meal. Everyone who works here is lovely and has great senses of humor. I love going here!
My new favorite place! They make the Best egg rolls, full sized, tightly wrapped and solidly packed with meat and veggie filling. The Shrimp Happy Family was delicious! The shrimp are fresh, the vegetables are fresh and cooked perfectly with beautiful color. Can't wait to try more of their dishes!
Hands down the best pho I've had in Austin! Very authentic sense of Vietnamese cuisine, best value for $$, leaves you with a very happy belly. Family run so there's that personal sense.
LOVED the food. Yesterday we tried Bun Bo Hue, Pan-fried Soft Egg Noodles, Pan-fried Flat Pho Noodles, and Pho. Everything was on point and very authentic. Did I say I'm finicky with food? Particularly Vietnamese food, a country I came from. Came back today for Flat Noodles. Delicious. Service was fast, quick and friendly by the owner - an older man. I wanted to sample the Milk Tea and Green Milk Tea. He shot over to the bar area and within a couple minutes, came back with two children-size servings of both teas. He wouldn't charge, but I left a generous tip. I understand the effort that goes into making great food and running a restaurant. I'll back.
We've been hearing about Pho Ha Noi's ap chao and had to try it out. It definitely did not disappoint! I would say it's up there in taste and portion size with Bep Saigon. We also had the Bun Bo Hue and combination fried rice which were also very good. The staff were all so, so kind and attentive. Will definitely be back to try more!
The best lemongrass chicken I have had in Austin. Food came out extremely fast (under 15 minutes), so this place is probably perfect for a work lunch. Inside was clean and staff were happy. The prices are slightly higher than your basic asian restaurant. Very big menu so there is surely something for everyone here.
This is a nice little Pho spot. The chicken Pho had good flavor, but the highlight of the meal is the eggrolls, lots of filling and very tasty. Will be back!
I can't decide which wad better, the food or the service. We were feeling a bit Phoish and attempted to oder online but unfortunately there seems to be a technical issue and the menu is askew. I attached pictures of it so that you dont have the same problem.(YOUR welcome) If you are feeling like Pho you need not look any further. PUT DOWN YOUR MOUSE OR PHONE AND GET YOUR BOTTEM OVER THERE ASAP. The food is delish and the service feels like grandma's house. After tonight my family is officially becoming regulars at this little gem 💎 ✨️ 💖
My go to pho place once you’ve enter you seat yourself and they give you a water bottle without charge , their salted lemonade is so tasty ! the broth has so much flavor and their portions are big their egg rolls are super delicious as well .
I’ll add pictures next time 🤭 I was too tired and lazy to take pictures and now I regret. Their BBH is the best so far in Austin of all the restaurants I’ve tried. fresh Bowl was my number 1 for BBH but now it’s number 2 😂 The owner and waitresses are super friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very organized and clean.
I’ve been here for the second time. The food was great as always. I ordered dried noodle it has shrimp, squid, pork liver and quail eggs in it 🩷
This is one of local favorites for quick lunch and hot bowl of Vietnamese Pho and Bun Bo Hue. Come by and check your self and try their delicious food and strong Vietnamese iced coffee for extra boost.
This place really hit the spot! We got the small hot pot for $60—plenty for three folks—and it came packed with beef slices, shank, tendon, meatballs, omasum, and tripe. The plum-like dipping sauce was sweet, tangy, and super refreshing. Staff was real friendly, kept checking on us, and even topped off our soup without asking. We’ll be back for sure!
Service is excellent. Food is excellent. Decor is spartan but gives the restaurant an airy, spacious, feel that is very welcoming. Also of note is this is one of the cleanest restaurants. Bun Bo Hue was delicious. Spicy, flavorful, with generous portions of meats. Vietnamese ice coffee is intensely flavorful and is served in a generously sized sealed plastic cup. Spring rolls are wrapped in super thin rice wrapper with an excellent balance of veggies, vermicelli, and shrimp. Beef Brisket and Beef Ball Pho - soup base here has a distinctive flavor. It is light, but surprisingly rich.
We always see this place heading to Chinatown. Today we stopped in for dinner. Everything was perfect! We ordered, Beef and Mushroom, Combination Fried Rice, Combination Pho, Fried Dumplings and Spring Rolls. Customer service was awesome. Loved our waiters humor. We had a late dinner and seemed to get extra attention. We had more than one person check on us to make sure all was well. Great prices as well. Thanks! We will return!
Ordered the beef hot pot special. Came with beef brisket, shank, stomach, meatballs, intestine, slices of flank, vegetables with tofu, and your choice of rice or egg noodles. They give you this tangy (sriracha mayo?) sauce that pairs perfectly with all the beef items. The soup base was a richer pho broth that contained bonus pork bones at the bottom. The beef intestine was filled with what seemed like bone marrow which allowed it to absorb the soup and hold more flavor. Quality beef ingredients. Feeds 2-4 people or a filling meal for two with leftovers. Most diners had this hot pot on their tables on Saturday night. Might want to call ahead to order to avoid a long wait time.
We haven’t been back for over 3 years, but had a wonderful experience today. Portions are big and prices are great. The quality and taste of the food was also on point. We will be back soon! One of the best BBH in town! The owners are super nice and the food came out very quickly!
My goodness!!!!! This was such a nice Vietnamese restaurant!!! I ordered their vermicelli vegetable & tofu, and the seasoning!!!! 🤤 my goodness delectable! My partner ordered the chicken vermicelli and also found it delicious. The waitress was attendable and friendly. The atmosphere is open and nice. Loved the flavoring of their food.
Some of the best (rib-eye round steak)Beef Pho I’ve had in Austin! The broth is perfectly seasoned & they use serranos as their choice of peppers for garnish (my favorite). I’ve had a ton of variations of pho & this is a new favorite. The sweet & sour chicken was piping hot & so good. The spring rolls were good, i’m not into iceberg lettuce so it was just personal preference. My husband loved them. The owner Mr. Tran, his father & staff are the sweetest! So helpful, kind & helpful. Their credit card machine was down (not a problem) so they currently take cash, Venmo & Zelle for digital payments. Highly recommend & will definitely be back!
First time here and enjoy the food very much. Lunch time on a Saturday was not too busy, staffs were very attentive and friendly. Recommend V1 and AC2 were most popular dishes. Portions are big and great for family style to share. Flavorful but reasonably priced despite the inflation. This place is pretty clean, has done in and take out. Highly recommend and support our local business!
Broth is very flavorful and it hit the spot on a cold evening. Favorite pho place I've been to so far!
The taste is great. Love the pho soup. The guests are mostly Vietnamese so it is a proof of food quality.
Hidden gem with delicious Vietnamese food options. This restaurant is located a few miles away from the rest of the Chinatown in Austin, but it as good if not better than the options in it. I had the fried flat noodles and it was perfectly crispy and full of flavor. I also got to try the shaking beef and some Pho and it was delicious as well. It's a smaller restaurant with not a lot of seating but still got seated immediately and was served. Overall a great spot and one that I'll be bringing my family to again.
Best Pho North of the Colorado River (I like 888 better but the lines there on the weekend can get so long). I also really like the Bo Luc Lac, its not perfect but certainly better than I can expect from Austin Vietnamese Food scene. Weekend specials are great like the Mi Vi Tim, Hu Tieu Mi. With the MVT you get a separate dish of Goi and Vit. Its Vietnamese comfort food at is finest.

loved this place! they were very quick and customer service was top notch. the food was also very good and for the best price, i was very impressed. the thai tea was not too sweet which i loved but had a rich strong thai flavor.
The food is great and the service is even better! The owner saw that I was sharing with my wife (we always order 2 things and share everything) and brought us an extra bowl. We didn't even have to ask!
Great find! We noticed and appreciated the chandeliers and brightly colored walls when we walked in. We were immediately greeted and handed menus and a bottle of water. Our only complaint would be towards the spring rolls, however we did substitute the shrimp for chicken, but they lacked flavor. We ordered chicken and beef pho, and they were delicious! The broth was tasty and there was a nice balance of noodles to broth. Bonus! There's an international grocery store next door with lots of wonderful finds!
The egg rolls are extremely good, pho is tasty, and the different teas and coffee are great. Unfortunately, they are out of things very often, because of that online and phone ordering can be challenging. Definitely a decent little restaurant.
I was not really impressed the first time I came, so this place has grown on me a lot. My parents really like to come here so I had to give it another try. The pho is not the best for me, but it's pretty good for the price and what you get, so this makes it one of the best places to get pho. The Pho Ap Chao was nice and crispy, my only issue was that I like my noodles covered in sauce so I get a balance of crunch and sauce but overall very good. The crispy noodles seafood combo was very nice, crispy and saucy to give you a nice balance of crunch and softness. So I've had my mind changed, people, if you want good Viet food with good prices, this place is a must visit. It's also not usually crowded so it's like a hidden gem. Came with my parents and got the Bo Luc Lac (Shaken beef). It was delicious and they give really good portions!! The beef was soft and flavorful. I will definitely come back for this dish!
Tried the beef hotpot here and I’m in love. Fresh cut beef planks, tendon, tripe, meatballs and intestine were fully flavored up in the boiling hot chili soup. The rice noodles that came with the hotpot is topped with crispy garlic and garlic oil. The portion is more than enough to feed 3 people.
The phở here is great. It has a stronger flavor than some of the other phở I've had nearby. The noodles came in a tight clump at the bottom of the bowl, which was very reminiscent of Vietnam, but since they use a different type of noodle in Vietnam, it was harder to pull apart. (All phở I've had in America is made with a different noodle than in Vietnam, not just this place.) We ordered an avocado smoothie that was made perfectly and tasted just like the ones I would have in Saigon. The staff is very friendly. It was quiet when we came in, but that may be because it was during tết. The phở is also more reasonably priced than other places I've been.
The portion of pho is decent and broth is mediocre. The egg rolls are too oily.

Fast service, good portions, fair price. Water was from a water bottle which I found odd but I didn't mind. I got beef pho and the flavor from the broth was good, though not as strong as I prefer. All of the vegetables were nice and fresh. Wait staff was friendly and prompt.

I got the run after eating bún bò Huế here. I thought it was just me but my sister used the restroom twice after we left there and were at MT market. It could be the lemongrass shrimp paste sauté we both added to our bowl. The broth was too sweet for our taste. I won’t be back cuz I definitely don’t want to experience that feeling again.
My husband and I tried it for the first time and thought the food was a bit bland. I couldn't finish my meal after a few bites but my husband ate his and some of mine despite not liking it and had a bad allergic reaction afterwards and food poisoning symptoms which is unusual as he hardly ever gets sick.
