RNB's steak and fries catered our non-profit event and completely exceeded expectations! Arman and his team were incredible - they delivered 30 perfectly quartered sandwiches right to our venue, and everything arrived piping hot. The sandwiches were a massive hit with our 90 guests, disappearing almost instantly when served as appetizers. The quality and presentation were top-notch. Exceptional service, delicious food, and great attention to detail. Will definitely be using their catering services again!

Growing up in the Mid-Atlantic I've had my share of cheeseteaks and this is one of the best I've had. We're very lucky to have this in ATX.

Don't know what happened to my original review, but I decided to put my girl on to this place, and it never disappoints. The best cheese steak in Austin on par with what I've tried in Philly, even better, depending on where you go. The service is great too as the people who work the truck are super nice. This place deserves so much more recognition 👏.

I've been a loyal customer at R&B's for years, and every visit is a 5-star experience. Hands down, best cheesesteak I've ever had— even better than the ones I've tried in Philly. Their bread? Absolutely unmatched and best you'll find in Texas. Plus, the owners Arman and Kris, are genuinely the kindest people and truly deserve all the success coming their way!

Best Philly steak I've had in Austin since leaving the east coast. In a small food truck park on E 6th. Was craving a good classic philly steak. The guys on the truck were so friendly and brought our food to us and checked in to see how everything was. You can build it your way choose your cheese and toppings. The bread is equally as important and these rolls were good quality and great pairing with the meat. The sandwich is packed full well worth the price to get a honeade late night bite in the area.

Actually, the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had (chicken and steak are both good, tried both). Meat was marinated and flavored to the T. Toppings were grilled to perfection and bread was perfect texture. Not hard, not too soft, just righ. The service was on point and so was the food. Me and my girlfriend were visiting from Houston and this was our first time at R&B. Will definitely be back, stopped by to get a couple of sandwiches before we went back into Houston, ended up showing up early before he was open and bro gave us a sandwich with the last loaf of bread he had ready on the house just for the road. Much love, we’ll be back soon. Would recommend to anyone.

Found this place on the Googles for top cheesesteaks in Austin. Great find! We had 1 chicken and 1 beef cheesesteak. Both very tasty. A great price too! $10 each. $.33 each for extras. Fries were a bit too salty for me but my wife liked them. But they were nice and hot. Service was great. The guy was friendly and they were quick. They’re located in a food truck lot with others and their area was clean, the lot itself could be spruced up. But we picked up and took it home. Overall total satisfaction!

This place had the vibes going playing R&B music which fits the name. Customer service was exceptional and prices are decent. I got the classic Philly with peppers, onion, and mushrooms. Provolone and wiz with a side of cheese fries. Everything was top tier, the bun is warm and soft and perfectly absorbed the juices from the steak. The steak is thinly sliced and seasoned to perfection. I don't usually do cheese fries but I am glad I tried them. Every bite was fantastic, I will be back very soon.

Awesome steak place in a laid back little food court area. Classic east side. Authentic philly sandwich too, with cheez whiz (get extra whiz if you know what’s up). Really happy to find these local guys. Go here if you want a cheesesteak

I remembered seeing R&B's on IG so when I ended up in Austin for work I knew I had to check it out. Great spot tucked away in a food truck park with plenty of seating and cover from the sun. One of the owners greeted me when I walked into the park and took the time to make sure I had whatever I wanted on my sandwich and fries. Great tunes in the sun while I waited for my food to come to my table. All the ingredients were fresh. I got a steak with provolone. They definitely know how to do it right with the cheese incorporated into the meat. They also toast the bread to give it that proper Philly crunch. The fries were crispy and you could tell they were fresh and seasoned. I got mine topped with cheese and you know they are legit when a fry still crunches after being covered in whiz. You can get a cheese steak at just about any sandwich shop in America but you'd be hard pressed to find one that's top shelf outside of Philly. R&B's is the exception to the rule.

As a connoisseur of fine things this sandwich hit the spot. If you want a real cheesesteak this is the place to go. Owners are courteous, price was fair, and selection is exactly what I wanted. All it’s missing is some Tasty Cakes for dessert for that authentic east coast feeling.

The sandwich is super good and the porpoise is generous. It does take some time for them to prepare the food but there’s live music to keep our attention occupied. Very satisfied with the meal.

Don't forget the peppers and onions. If you wanna give it a little ATX flair, add jalapeños (Kris loves it this way). R&B's also offers a regular steak sandwich and steak hoagie which you can customize with your choices of toppings. Fries are available on the side, and i recommend getting them with cheese, jalapeños and BBQ Sauce. The truck is located in a small food truck court just off of the corner of 6th and Comal Streets. There are tables all aroubd the trucks, including some in the shade. When you need some Philly love, head over to see them. You won't be sorry!

The cheesesteak sandwich and Philly cheesesteak fries I ordered were really good. Stopped by after seeing the place in a YouTube video and the place did not disappoint. One of the brothers who works the food truck is really nice and welcoming when you walk up to order. Area for parking is pretty small and has some large holes so be careful when parking.

I got to try a REAL cheesesteak for the first time back in the spring! R&B’s did deliver that taste for me! I don’t eat red meat due to dietary reasons, and sometimes it can be hard finding food trucks with those options that are needed for me. I do love that this place has a chicken and veggie option! The customer and food service is very great! The food is cooked fresh by order, and I don’t mind waiting for fresh food! Don’t hesitate to try this place out, you’ll be mad at yourself that you didn’t find this place sooner! OH I forgot to mention the food is SUPERIOR!

Short story: wait 3 hours after opening to make sure it's actually open. Lots of pepper on cheesesteak. Nice humans! Long story: I've been trying to go to the food truck for a year or so now, and it's either been closed or the hours were incorrect. We went this weekend, 1 hour after it was supposed to open, and it was still closed! We waited, because pregnancy cravings are real. The guys were super nice and grateful that we waited so long. We ordered a cheese steak and loaded fries. They threw in an extra Cheesy fries for being so patient and the food taking 35+ minutes to get ready. The cheesesteak was a little too peppery (not spicy, just a lot of black pepper) for our liking, but it definitely cured the craving. Definitely look for events, because they have a small stage, and that would be super fun.
