We had a great time, food was really good and the all you can eat was def taken as a fun challenge. Our server Dan was super nice and very welcoming. Thank you again!
We came to the dinner AYCE and it was amazing. Very good food!! The server Dan was very attentive and made our experience a great one! Def recommended.
Sort of becoming a regular and that is simply because the food and service have been excellent everytime. Doesn't matter if you showing up iduring the slow hours or even the dinner rush. The menu has a lot to offer and although I haven't explored all of it everything I have tried is delicious. The sashimi salad seems to be one of our go to along with a bowl of Ramen.
We love it here! This is our AYCE Sushi spot for the last decade! Everything is fresh, made to order, and delicious. Staff is always attentive, warm and friendly. It's great for family dinners with little kids, date nights, and friends gatherings.
Sushi Junai 2 is easily one of my favorite ayce sushi spots. The quality here really stands out for a buffet-style place—everything tastes fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully put together. The sushi rolls aren’t just good, they’re fun too, with creative and playful names that make ordering part of the experience. Other than a slightly dated interior (if that matters to you) everything else at this place deserves a 5 star.
Tonight, my girlfriend and I had a great experience here, for the second time. The atmosphere and food are authentic, with notably stellar service. Especially from the server, at around 8pm on Monday the 10th November, who took great care of us the entire night. Her name unfortunately was not mentioned on the receipt, but she was a major contributer to the experience. Table listed: "C05". The service felt genuine had a warmess to it that went beyond expectation. This has earned the restaurant a pair of repeat customers who will recommend the restaurant to others in future. Thank you.
All you can eat, prepared to order. We came for the all you can eat sushi. Spent $40 per person for all you can eat dinner. Ate asbout $280 worth of food for the three of us based on a la carte pricing. Great deal. Great food. Specialty rolls have great names. Will be going back.
I'm so excited to find Cajun albacore. This is the first place that I've found it in the 10 years of living here. I also appreciate the small rice portions for the sushi with the all up can eat menu. The rolls were good. I'll have to try others. The sashimi and handroll were just ok. Overall, it was a great casual location for sushi. Thankful for parking and ease to be seated quickly.
It was a good "first-time-here" experience. The staff were super attentive and the items we ordered were really delicious. I say it was a good value since my teenage son can probably eat about $60 worth of sushi from other places. Doing eat all you can at about $37 seems like a good value for him. I will definitely recommend to friends!
First time coming here to celebrate a friend's birthday. They have a great deal of all you can eat if you get there before 3pm, which includes all the different sushi rolls, appetizers, sides, and dessert. You have 60 minutes to order as much as you want, but the restaurant does that a rule that you pay for whatever you dont eat, which I've heard there is some flexibility with. It takes about 15-20mins for you to get your food, but it is so worth it!
Hands down the best AYCE sushi in Austin (and I'm pretty sure we've tried them all). We drive all the way across the city on a regular basis to eat here.\n\nTheir menu has a very wide selection, espe…

It's my favourite all you can eat sushi place. I like the lunch hour bc it's not too busy I enjoy the food and atmosphere
Fresh ingredients, great atmosphere, nice staff, short wait! We've been going here for years!
Came for AYCE sushi. It was a good experience. Wish I took more pictures but it was too good 🤭. So here’s the review: Food: 8/10 food was good but wish there was a wider variety to choose from. The sake was delicious. Service: 10/10. They were attentive, fast, and very kind Atmosphere: it’s a chill environment but I took a star off because there were some bugs that look like fruit flies. This was a solo experience but would come back with friends.
All I can eat nigiri at 28 pp at lunch? Even on a saturday? Amazing, plus Im not too sure of all the dishes but the amount of rice seems totally fine in all the nigiri i was given, with a big piece of fish on it too. Service was great, atmosphere is just ok, and food was good for the price for sure
Went on a Thursday evening befote the dinner crowd and had a good experience. The sushi was good and came to the table promptly. The only issue I has was that they have set limits of 1 on many items not previously limited. The only roll I get is the Cucumber Passions. It is rhe only roll that has a limit of 1 per person. This is the only roll i ever order and it is the only roll out of about 30 that has a limit of 1! Cost of Dinner AYCE is now $36.95. $40 with tax.
Went here with a group of 8 people and had a great time. We went for the all you can eat. Some of the rules had me worried: "90 minute window" and "charged for leftovers". Let me just say, nothing to worry about. They were FAST we ordered A LOT. They had sashimi and rolls coming fast and furious to the table. The food was much better than you might expect at an all you can eat; fresh and flavorful. I wish I could remember the names of everything we ate so I could recommend things. Definitely will be going back.
Have been a few times now, with and without kids, and overall we find it’s good value for the price. We’ve only done the AYCE option. Make sure to get on the waitlist early, as it fills up quickly! We recently went on a Friday, checked waitlist (said no wait), joined a few minutes later and said we were 6th. Took ~45 minutes to get to the table for reference. Service was good, the lady picking up the used dishes was great, super quick! They were busy and staff was nice but you could definitely tell busy! This time we were told there’s a limit of one mochi per person (hadn’t had that previously). Overall, food is good. Buttered asparagus, creamy shrimp, shrimp tempura, the beef, monkey brain and unagi are all favorites. Many rolls are fried and a lot also have cream cheese, so while overall tasty, it’s definitely not a super healthy sushi experience if that’s what you are looking for. There’s also a huge amount of rolls so it could be just we just pick the less healthy ones haha. We have not tried any of the noodle soups or rice. With tip, it was ~45 per person (including kids) but was worth it as that’s many times close to what we spend at a regular sushi restaurant for a few rolls/much less food. We ordered over $300 worth of food (based on menu prices) plus drinks.

Average sushi, you get a lot for the price. Interesting options. Lots of flies and sticky floors but other than that, food is decent. It's hit or miss.

This is an honest dining experience. I do not recommend this spot unfortunately. I came for the All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) for $37/pp and the sushi dishes were a hit or miss. Many of the rolls tasted warm when they should've been chilled. Some tasted great while others were drenched in a sauce that just didn't work with the dish. The dishes the rolls were served on were chipped at the corners and looked old (shown in picture). You also have to use a pen and paper to place your order which is different from most other AYCE places. There is a cost if you don't finish all your food so order only what you can eat. The restaurant is supposed to mimic a dimly lit and calm restaurant situation but the lights are so low over the tables that they hurt your eyes.
Not many sashimi options, more rolls. So if you're looking for ayce sashimi this is not the place. They charge around $37/adult and kid (2-7yo) around $17 if I don't remember wrong...not worthy. I had better and more reasonable price. Service was horrible and rude especially the Asian lady. She said "no more order" so many times, we chose ayce. At first we thought that she meant no more order coming out...but every time she stopped by, she said "no more order ok". The restaurant closes at 10pm on Saturday, at 9pm she told us "no more, last order". Nobody in the table liked her. Some food we ordered for the kids like shrimp tempura & chicken not even came out but it's so hard to get their attention so I didn't ask or re-order for the kids. I don't hate the experience but nothing special to come back especially with that service.

Food mostly was terrible. Most of the items were sweet. When I wanted to return one sushi plate, the owner said that she refuses to give me a drink refill , she refuses to take any farther order and she wanted to charge me for the plate that was not edible. Please do not waste your money here. As soon as you sit, they’re already looking at how much you want to order because it’s all you can eat. Unfortunately, very unprofessional setting and very sad. We will never be back here
All You Can Eat? More Like All You Can Chew (Through Rice). I went to this AYCE sushi spot expecting a good deal, but it’s clear they’ve built their business around baiting customers into over-ordering just to rack up extra charges. The menu makes it sound like a great value—until you realize every piece is packed with an absurd amount of rice. Each roll had about half an inch of rice crammed on one side, completely throwing off the balance. The hand rolls were no better—overflowing with rice to the point where it felt like I was eating a rice burrito with a hint of fish. Even a half roll was the size of a normal full roll anywhere else. It literally took me three bites to finish one piece because there was so much rice stuffed in each one. To make matters worse, the restaurant reeked of Fabuloso, which I noticed was what they used to “clean” the bathroom. That’s not a germicide or disinfectant, so it’s not doing much to sanitize anything. The overwhelming scent made it pretty obvious they were masking odors rather than cleaning properly. Overall, this place is the definition of quantity over quality—and even then, most of that “quantity” is just cheap rice. Definitely not worth it.
